Phoenix Suns Look to Old Friends and Rookies to Speed Up Rebuild
welcome welcome welcome in to another episode of Outside Shots with Eddie Johnson i’m Saul Bookman thank you for uh joining us this lovely Monday morning you know I think Monday mornings at 8:00 are probably a really good time shane would probably disagree cuz he doesn’t want to be here at 8:00 in the morning which I don’t I don’t disagree with but are you speaking for me
young people I’m speaking for you do you want to be here at 8:00 in the morning
i don’t mind it you don’t mind it no
young people man you know when I was young I used to sleep 14 hours 16 hours so I’m serious i slept all day and I got up winning ball you know cuz I was still growing all right well
and when you’re drinking the concoctions that I make
what are you what are you drinking now a little bit of uh protein creatine vodka
vodka all right well okay
wake you up in the morning all right anyway this is Outside Shots we appreciate you all for joining us at 8:00 in the morning
out of a baby bottle i think this is a good this is a good way to start the week here at PHX because uh listen I mean I I I like our show i think we have one of the best shows in the entire company if not the best show in the entire company and I’ll stand on that uh with uh 10 Toes Down so how about that and uh we appreciate you for joining us because you guys are the best uh fans uh in the community and uh we appreciate you very much for taking the time to listen to our uh crazy thoughts uh and we will start
i was not late sorry I was on time all right
okay all right uh anyway so uh EJ last week uh we were here the day after the first round of the draft before the Suns had made any other picks in round two uh obviously that first round pick was Kaman Malawatch uh and that has been highly regarded very wellreceived in in the in the community suns fans pretty excited about this but also you know round two started and it started off quickly because the Suns made a flurry of trades to get from where they were in that in that second round which was not pick number 31 all the way up to 31 to pick Rasheed Fleming from St joseph’s who averaged about 15 and N last year um for for the Red Hawks and then uh then followed that up by drafting uh Cody Brea uh Kobe Brea sorry uh from Kentucky formerly of Dayton as well i’ve seen Kobe Brea play um really big fan of that that player uh Rashe Fleming though 6’8 uh I think 6’8 and a quarter and a half uh but a seven foot five wingspan for somebody uh with tremendous athletic ability can shoot from the outside and uh just a just a good all-around player and in the span of of two days the Suns got more athletic they got younger and they got a little bit of versatility uh on the wing and down low at the at the rim so your overall thoughts when you just talk about the draft class in itself
very creative and that’s why I always caution Suns fans right always on this show I said just let it play out like wait don’t come up with some opinion before it happens we have what four or five months still left in the off season so we don’t know how all of this is going to shape out a hierarchy in how you do trades how you sign you know and so things are being done but are not announced uh because or you’re waiting in line and and teams are trying to carve out you got the summer league coming up
teams want to see players in the summer league to see okay no this guy’s not going to work i need to call the Sun see if I can trade for this guy like so it’s it’s it’s work in progress and so that’s why I say all after the season now you have to be patient and see how it plays out players will get bought out uh all of that uh so we’ll talk about one during the show so you know it’s this is the business of basketball and the Suns were very creative in the draft uh to be able to go big which I have been preaching for I don’t know the last number of years is like physicality go big be aggressive and and think about it in one swoop you know we have aggressiveness on our team now and we have bodyguards to protect Devin to protect Jaylen Green uh protect Bradley Bill if he’s still here when you have like small and I mean Devin’s and Brad and Jaylen Green is not small but you know what I mean position small you got to have protectors for them like Dylan Brooks he’s a protector like it’s that’s what you want man because as a coach you can build around it you know you can fit pieces in you can put a guy on the court and don’t have to okay worry about the fact maybe he’s not offensive minded but he rebounds the ball he sets great screens he’s intimidating all of those things play out right again I use Draymond as an example i mean Draymond is the ultimate guy in that regard and he won four titles yeah so you know that’s what you need on your team bobby Poris who Milwaukee just resigned remember a number of years ago we could have gotten him in the trade
the same year we went to the finals
didn’t do it
mhm
okay and he was the difference in the finals his physicality he made some big shots all of that so the Suns need it and it’s great uh it’s good the power forward position yeah 7 foot five wingspan that’s Rash Joseph that’s pretty damn good you know forget about the height it’s the wingspan man like you don’t block a ball you don’t block a shot with your head
i don’t think I’ve seen that huh no
like oh that guy’s seven feet
but his arms are like wingspaned of six feet i used to go in and toy with guys like that they big sevenfooter in there you all Eddie get ready to challenge him his ar he put his arms up the block eddie Eddie got about a a seven foot wingspan i’m up there go get it stretch it out baby do some calisthenics that’s what I would tell them serious serious business i once told Patrick Euing that one time patrick went in i went in because I had a little run and jump hook i went in and I saw him and I ran the jump jump hook and as I was doing the jump hook I said “Patrick how you like them calisthenics this morning he just looked at me matter of fact I talked to him the other day i Yeah so I didn’t remind him of it but yeah man i’m excited about what we’ve done so far but we still have a ways to go because we got to shure up Saul and figure out who’s still going to be on this roster and who they might move on from
uh and when you have a plethora of like perimeter players every somebody’s got to go and because why they’re not going to be happy why you want unhappiness on your team if you’re not playing the kind of minutes you expect to play or you used to play so yeah I’m I’m excited about what happened
you know what’s so funny is uh to your point about getting too too excited or too pissed off uh you know on day one of the draft before you see how things kind of shake out and really how the offseason shakes out uh how many people were upset that we had that we gave up that 29th pick but then turned around and were super excited that we got the 31st pick like it doesn’t really make sense because you know like the Suns are going to find a way to try and get the assets that they need or at least they’re going to die trying and I’ll give Brian Gregory a lot a lot of credit that th those are a lot of a lot of small nuanced decisions and trades to position themselves to get into a position to draft Fleming at 31 who could end up being a great steel um or or not you you never know how these things are going to shake out we’ve seen players like this before where where you know you you think they’re going to be great and then maybe they’re not as great as they were or you anticipated and then uh the opposite you know some somebody that you don’t really know or realize and then all of a sudden they flourish and you know Tummani Kamar one of those guys who you know I think everybody was was pretty excited about because he was like the 50th pick and you saw him in summer league you felt like oh man this kid this kid might be pretty good unfortunately you had to throw him into a trade to get you know Nerkich and now Tammani Kamar is one of the better wing defenders in the league and it’s just uh it’s a damn shame that he’s doing it in Portland and not in the Suns uniform but there’s been other examples where you take somebody in the 30th or 40th or 50th pick and it just didn’t pan out and that’s just the luck of the draw so uh I I think what the Suns have done uh in the draft has been phenomenal but obviously the biggest thing up ahead uh really priority number one for the Suns is now since free agency starts tonight what are you going to do with Bradley Beal and it’s funny Shane do we have that clip yet not ready okay so uh you know when we’re looking at Bradley Beal there’s a myriad of different ways you can approach this you can go you can keep him which I I I think a majority of the fan base is against um you can wave and stretch him uh but you would uh you know according to I forgot who it was but they said that if they if they were able to um if if Beal was able to sacrifice $28 million of of his remaining contract and they waved and stretch him that would save the Suns $200 million uh which would be phenomenal and um I do believe that would put them under the second apron as well which would that’s where you want to be you don’t want to be in that second apron um and it would give him tremendous roster flexibility so that that would be great um and then the last thing obviously is trade him which would be the most ideal scenario because then you wouldn’t owe him any money uh but what would you get in return you know if you were the GM EJ how would what would you how would you approach Bradley Beal’s situation and what would you say to Bradley Beal um if you were the GM right now well first of all I think Brad you know has been overall first class in all of this just imagine I want people to imagine this imagine if if KD was in that space and he was hearing all this negativity all the time about him
yeah yeah just imagine the responses he’d be throwing out brad has every reason to lash out he does i just want everybody to know this he has every reason i mean what did he do he had he got an agent that’s tremendous he got a no trade clause he’s got an agent that’s tremendous that got him a heck of a contract i think all of you all would like that if you had an agent representing you to go out and get the best that he can for you and then make it comfortable for you to say “Okay I can control everything if you decide to move on from me.” I think everybody in their job would like that right if you were with a company that was a worldwide company and they can move you from city to city and you got kids and say you’re you know and and maybe you know your wife you’re young in your marriage and you would live with the fear that you could be told you know what in order to keep your job you got to go to London for two years huh you got to go somewhere else i don’t think you would like that right and if you had a no move clause in your contract you would be feeling good about it so let’s just let’s look at the scenario first with Brad and and understand that he has been pristine in all of this you know now that said you know if I would I would tell Brad look you know it’s not about you individually it’s just the situation financially for our ball club and that’s the one reason why we’re moving on we know that you had a tremendously statistical year yeah you haven’t been able to stay healthy but okay you understand that it’s the business of basketball you know we we’re just trying to make this work and that’s how you approach a guy that has the juice right that you know hasn’t done anything that’s the hardest thing to do like if he was you know a guy that was just an attitude walking attitude and you didn’t care he’s disruptive you wouldn’t go all through all that you like “Look man
we got to try to get you out you know you’re not going to be happy here we not happy with you we going to try to get you out but we going to keep it private but we trying to do that but Brad you can’t do that like he loves being in Phoenix he loves it here
so it it’s just to convince somebody to go do something is very difficult and I think they’re obviously doing it the right way cuz Brad has not lashed out we haven’t heard a peep from Brad i heard he’s working his butt off i heard he’s you know he’s in great shape he I know he wants to prove to people in Phoenix that he can ball i know he wants to show that okay with KD gone you know maybe now I can be able to flourish a little bit better you know so you know Bud and I didn’t mix you know it’s like it’s it’s the people around you can slow you up too and so it it’s a conundrum man but this is what I’ll say to Suns fans and I’ll let you back in if if the bottom line if nothing can be done and Brad is here in uniform I am telling you right now reputation on the line me you’re going to look at it halfway through the season and say “Damn I’m glad we didn’t get rid of them.” Watch you know why because the kind of offense that they’re trying to run and the size that they have behind these guys now is going to make a difference because it’s going to be about them who’s going to take all the shots this year deon Booker uh Jaylen Green Bradley Beal
that’s it that’s who going to take all the shots and the rest of them dudes going to do the dirty work you know and and that’s and I’m telling you with those three dudes that can score like that and you got big dudes going to get it off the glass then you got guys coming in that can that can knock it down from three whoever it is Grayson here spotting up royce O’Neal shot the ball from well from three like it’s a good combination and you got to have somebody to distribute it right somebody has to be there all three of them guys won’t be on the court at the same time but I’m just you know let’s just see how it plays out so I’m not overly you know going nuts about it but I think that’s how Brian Gregory should approach it if it doesn’t work we do have this you know Jordan you got to work with it and then maybe during the course of the season because Brad’s getting off then maybe a team like Milwaukee will look who doesn’t have Damen Lillard and say h okay let’s do this like you know because Giannis is not leaving so name me a player out there right now that you can align with Giannis that would I think give you a a Damian Lillard type outlook but also I think be a better rebounder and and be a better defender
oh oh boy you said a lot right there
i’m just saying well you can start off the Damen Lillard aspect of it
i I don’t I don’t cuz Damen Lillard kind of struggled with Giannis
i mean yeah but Damen Oh man i just don’t I don’t Maybe
I didn’t say he’d be better than Damen Lillard i said the same effect like let him run you got to remember Bradley Bill was scoring more points than Damen Lillard
i I get that but that that was like three years ago
okay that Okay
does he even have it in him anymore at that point i’m just saying
i mean maybe he does because I mean but the problem is because of guys like you
it’s not reliable
he has it in him because of guys like you
it’s not reliable
guys like you criticizing him telling him he can’t play well first of all EJ I have been a Bradley Beal supporter for the
saying they should move him the contract is killing the Suns that’s criticism
the contract is killing the
But that’s criticism he doesn’t He doesn’t see that
okay
he doesn’t feel that he He He didn’t say that when they traded for him
all right well real real quick let’s just We have a clip from Brian Windhorse talking about Bradley Beal go ahead to underscore this please listen aggregators it’s not that they don’t like Bradley Beal the person or the player it’s the contract the contract is the problem uh the more things change the more things stay the same that audio clip was actually from well over two years ago before the Suns even traded for Bradley Beal it’s the exact same situation just on repeat now with the Suns finding themselves in it and to me with Bradley Beal I listen I
I agree with you bradley Beal is a tremendous person i think he’s done everything with class
and I think people cloud
um Bradley Beal and and his contract and his lack of productivity in their eyes with um you know and they they try to disparage the person and I think you got to separate those two because Bradley Beal the person the human being is is is a good dude he just is now everybody’s upset because Bradley Beal has not uh has not performed the way that they hoped he would perform and he hasn’t been available as much as they hoped he would be available right like that’s been the biggest knock on Bradley Beal during the course of his career is he cannot stay healthy uh but for me because of the way the fan base has reacted and the way the fan base approaches Bradley Beal and the redundancy I will say that that’s the biggest other part of this the redundancy even with getting rid of KD and bringing in Jaylen Green you still have a little bit of the same three guys basically doing the same things on the court at the same time you would need to have the perfect offense to be able to execute that at a high level and I just don’t give the offense
i just don’t think you have it they do have the offense
no not not like this not like this they don’t they don’t they don’t they don’t have First of all in order to have that kind of an offense you have to have a premium facilitator to be able to initiate that offense they do not have that right now at any point
doesn’t you see that’s that’s where I push back on you
who’s the facilitator don’t tell me Devin Booker
it doesn’t have to be premium a premium facilitator is one that has to create for guys a premium is the guy that needs to create to give guys shots you don’t have to create for Devin you don’t have to create for Jaylen Green you don’t have to create for Bradley Bill
so how are those three going to operate if it’s just all one-on-one
off of mo off of motion offense setting screens them playing below the free the three-point line like if you if you’re dribbling the ball up is your Devin Booker constantly dribbling the ball up you got 10 eyes on you why do you think Steph is so good at what he does and I’m not saying people need to it look it’s certain levels of Steph okay it’s a lot of guys that simple junk man you learn to come off down screens you love you learn to set back screens you learn to cut that’s an offense that’s a motion offense so you what I’m telling you is you don’t need a pristine point guard for that you need a pristine point guard for guys that don’t know how to get their shots but they can shoot
my brother in Christ listen to me stop comparing and trying to say that well the Warriors could do it look at Steph it’s not the Warriors like we got to leave Steph out of the conversation because Steph is one in a million it’s not even like the down screens and all that stuff cool deon can do that
but Deon can’t do it at the level Steph can it’s not even the comparison who said I said not didn’t I just say it’s different levels i said different levels but this level has already been tried and it hasn’t worked
no with who
they’ve tried it the last two years with Kel and they and Booker
no they didn’t i called the damn games he ain’t run no damn down screens for them he ran one a game maybe two they were play All three of them were playing above the damn three all three of them was dribbling the damn ball up they were running twoman game and they were above the three-point line they were rarely running baseline coming off a damn simple ass screen i can run you off a damn screen right now and your back hurt okay don’t tell me what is so difficult about picking your damn feet up and going and somebody setting a damn screen for you to get open off a damn down screen or a misdirection and the simplest damn pass in the world is a damn chess pass a damn bounce pass you don’t need nobody to facilitate that you need movement and you got big giant dudes that you going to have out there on the floor now that can set a screen hold it that can set a screen and turn and post look you can run stuff like that without a doubt you can are they willing to do it that should be the statement are they willing to do it they got a new coach but the key thing is we saw it Saul all year we saw KD dribble the ball up we saw it and here’s Bud over there okay we saw him dribble the damn ball up and what did they do they just freaking picked him up at half court and doubled him but when KD caught the ball below the free throw line what did he do he destroyed him like all I’m saying is an offense an offense yeah you would love to have a great facilitator okay decision maker i’m not taking that away but my point is I said premium but maybe it doesn’t have to be premium when you’re running an all inclusive offense the only time you need a over the over-the-top point guard is when he has the damn ball in his hands all the damn time allah James Harden like you know Allah Donic then yeah he’s got to be premium then cuz he’s got eight seconds to make a decision shoot or make a pristine pass right they don’t need that if you got three guys on the on the down there like on the court at a time sometimes and now that defense has to worry about what’s going on behind them to free those guys up instead of what’s in front of them and that’s all I’m saying man so yeah I mean that that’s you can run that simple junk man i Man look listen listen i know you know where I’m getting ready to go i wasn’t the fastest dude i was fast i wasn’t the fastest didn’t jump the highest and I lit the ass up off the ball because I moved i moved man i used my teammates they can use their teammates okay I’m telling you man it’s doable but are they gonna do it is the question let me let me ask you i think the better question is is do you think it’s worth the amount of money that you’re paying Bradley Beal to try and test that out this season i don’t Well
I don’t listen listen this is what I would say if I was the GM which was my original question to you and and you you you kind of answered it a little bit my my response would be listen Brad for a variety of reasons to kind of use your words like you know things are just not worked out the way we need them to here in Phoenix and the money is just you know from a business standpoint um is is something that we need to reinvest in in different areas so you either have a choice you can not take a wave and stretch uh and that’s fine but you won’t be playing for us this season so it’s really the decision of whether or not you want to play ball this year or not and and I’m going to believe it to you and so if you want to go you go if you don’t you don’t but either way wearing a Suns uniform is is not going to be in the cards for you this season
you don’t think it’s doable then
i don’t think so i think it’s
I don’t think it’s doable to have three scores and three very good mid-range players if Jaylen Green will become excellent being around Devin okay and Brad if they’re here and just him watching them you don’t think it’s doable to have three guys one of them obviously a sixman that can be on the court and be a problem for teams especially if you got lymph out there too now you can’t help offscreens that throw the lob up up they do all that you don’t think that can happen no
right
no not not with this no no i It could happen but I don’t think it could happen with be
how do you know
because I think
he’s never had the chance he’s never had the chance
i’m just saying like first of all like he’s never healthy enough
see see look
it’s true but you can’t
you can’t ignore it
listen listen now that’s another argument Saul i’m just telling you
I know but that’s another argument okay you’re correct he has not been the healthiest guy
that’s part of your ability to play at a high level you have to be there to play at a high level
but my point is I will tell you certain offenses and the way that you play can put you in position to get injured i’ll say that again for the you know from the choir certain ways that you play and positions that you’re in put you in a harm’s way of getting injured how has Brad gotten injured this year a lot of times with the ball in his hands trying to play point guard trying to go downhill like some of those that that’s part of it and look hold it who has who has one of the best bodies if you if you lined them up who has one of the top two or three bodies on the team Brad so it’s not because he’s overweight it’s not because I’m just saying it’s not because he’s overweight
what does it have to do with anything
because bad luck that’s what it has to do with it and the way that you play if you play rambunctious and he does you notice he does he can trust me on this i can pick out numerous guys that that had great games and great bodies they could not stay healthy because of the way that they played very gross
but that you have you have but you have to take that into consideration well he does but he won’t have to play that way if you take that responsibility away
that’s the way he plays his style no it’s not
he dude the last two years in in Washington he only played 70 games no it’s not and he ran off screens like crazy he gave us 40 coming off freaking screens i called
He was still injured EJ no but what I’m saying is he he he might evolve and mature in their injuries you guys I’m telling you you guys kill me and I’m injury seasons what are we talking about
i’mma put you in the bubble of it
you know and it’s the couch potatoes and the water boys and I’m I’m You not a couch potato or water boy but you delivered the couch and And I’m I’m telling you right now okay this game does not promise you anything there’s a lot of bad luck in this game go ask Brandon Roy that a guy that was unbelievable in Portland like if you want to keep judging guys by when they going to get hurt or if they get hurt or whatever man I’m telling you Jason Tatum perfect example perfect example people one of the best bodies you going to find in sports where is he like you can’t just keep judging people on injuries you can say they snake bitten you can say that fine and I understand why they might want to move on for himself because of his injury issues i’m not denying that but to say he’s going to get injured again just to say that anybody can get injured man and it doesn’t matter how good your body is man we can’t like okay we trade him for somebody and he comes in and he then he injures himself he’s out for the year what are you gonna say you not going to come into the podcast cuz you know I’mma jump you huh and then Brad somewhere playing he played 70 games and he averaging 20 where you gonna go bro cuz I’mma look for you i’m gonna find you be careful what you wish for man i’m telling you the one thing we got to worry about is if he’s out of shape he’s overweight and all of that but if he’s trying to do the things and he looks healthy man that’s all we can ride on man life is like that isn’t it it is
you lift the TV the other day now you came in here looking like Fred Sanford
i did
like so I mean
I did
i It’s easy to get on Brad i think you would agree if he was overweight if he wasn’t doing the right things but I’m never going to get on a guy for just being snake bitten with injuries over a stretch of time because I just think sooner or later he can overcome it i never missed games when I played i woke up one day had a bad back and I and I had to discontinue a streak i had like a 300 350 straight games
okay all right all right
i mean that’s just how it goes so calm down on that listen listen okay you need to stop
no first of all you need to stop because you’re not staying on task with the argument at hand the argument is should Bradley Beal be on this team or should he be waved and stretched or traded your argument is is Bradley Beal’s a good player and they can make this work my argument is he’s not available enough for him to be on the court in order for them to try and make it work you can’t have both like you can’t just play 50 games and think that that’s going to be beautiful and that’s going to be enough and he misses 32 like that’s that’s we’ve seen that the last couple years so I’m not paying a million dollar a game for Bradley Bill they don’t want they don’t want him anyway that’s not work listen I’ I’ve been a Bradley because of the contract i’ve been I No no no no no i’ve been a Bradley Bill supporter i’ve been on his side i wanted him to succeed i thought it could succeed and it did not it did not work for a variety of different reasons now a lot of the coaching has to do with that i will say that a lot of the coaching decisions have had an influence on the operation as a whole but I think at this point he’s not reliable enough to invest that kind of money into him and part of this team so if you can free up that salary to get guys that are a little bit more reliable not as snake bitten uh as Bradley Beal then you do it i don’t understand what the problem is here what
Grayson Allen too he stays What are we not
Well we need to get rid of Grayson he stays hurt he was hurt he was hurt most of the year i mean let’s just look look let’s just move everybody everybody hurt kd sprained his ankle warming up i mean Deon’s had his issues over the years deon’s had his issues playing in 60 so
you do realize we’re talking about a team that did win 40 games this year no I understand that but my point but you’re talking about injuries you’re talking about
You have to factor that in i No I think what you’re factoring in at a high level you’re using the injury as an excuse on top of the fact that just really the no trade clause that’s what it is and and so and that’s what I want people to just come out and just say stop looking for other negatives like that’s what people do in relationships they do that in relationships man they don’t want to be with you anymore just say “I don’t want to be with you anymore.” Bradley was just say “I don’t want to be with you anymore.” was giving us listen if Bradley Bill was giving us not combat Bill was giving us 20 plus and five and five or whatever every single game and playing 60 70 games
and we lost
and and then I wouldn’t have any argument
and we still had the same record and we still had the same record
if everything was working the way you thought it was supposed to work you think we would be talking about
but we still had the same record the same struggles you would still say and most people would say it’s the contract cuz we can’t move them so it the the bottom line is the contract has forced people to look at all the other negatives about the person that’s what people do in relationships to really solidify they don’t want to be with the person anymore without a doubt you come on man you you I mean a wife probably doesn’t do it to you but you know girls you dated when they wanted to break up with you know in order to really drive the nail in they just couldn’t say you know so I just I just don’t want to be with you anymore then it’s on them but then they’ll say so I don’t want to be with you anymore cuz you only take one shower a week you don’t comb your hair like you know what happens they gonna find other things and that’s what people are doing with Bradley Bill so I’m the protector i have said at the beginning of this damn show I said that probably they should move on
okay and the contract is a hindrance i’ve said that but when people want to start going all in to try to justify it because oh he gets injured when everybody on this team got injured over the last few years everybody was injured i can name all the damn players that missed games okay so that’s what happens when you’re losing because you’re out of position you’re working extra hard you you’re aggressive and you get injured okay so Brad Brad can have an excuse damn I came here to start oh okay we were losing so I’m the one I gotta go to the bench i gotta play a different role i gotta play off the ball i’m catching the ball with five seconds left on the shot clock now I got to be aggressive okay i’m not in my element like I used to be all the changes he had to make to put himself in harm’s way so that’s all I’m saying man like just leave it where it is you like to get rid of him because of the contract and that’s what the Sun
That’s the biggest thing
i know but people are looking for other reasons like you’re talking about “Oh he’s always hurt.”
For $50 million you got to be healthier than you are
but if he was healthy Saul you still would say they need to move on you can’t put words if they were losing and they needed to make a deal it would have be it would be Bradley Bill’s contract i would say that
if he was dropping 25 a game at $50 million he’d be a lot easier to trade right now
but I would say that wouldn’t I wouldn’t I say that i would say that would the contract i would say that
I’m kind of I’m kind of doubting what what you’re saying right now completely and also like you’re you’re you equating uh getting rid of Bradley Beal and thinking that’s just because of the injuries to you know like a a girlfriend breaking up do you still have your Tesla i can’t wait to burn it
but why why do you want to get rid of it
why you want me to be honest
yeah cuz I don’t like the that has it that owns it okay but that’s irrelevant to the to the actual performance of the car
no cuz every time I drive it I see his name wait but does it matter it’s a good car it’s effective when it’s operational it’s good it’s good enough it gets you from home to here right but now we have external factors that you want to put into the equation and you want to try and influence your decision on why you want to get rid of this even though it has zero impact on your day-to-day life on how you operate that vehicle and that’s exactly what we’re talking about with Bradley Beal he’s not operational half the damn time at $50 million you got to get rid of him at least your Tesla works
uh let me catch you up on something my Tesla didn’t freaking work when I first got it all the time
you want to get rid of it that’s the point no no it didn’t work and I kept it i’ve had the car since I
That’s on you man i’ve had it that’s your mistake that’s your bad decision
i gave it a chance
that’s like if you were with a girl and you know she’s not the one for you why did you keep her around
that’s on you
you’re done okay so when I first got it it started giving me all kind of problems okay the Tesla did hold it cut it right there hold it hold it it did but you know what I did
you know what I did i remember what people said no that’s a good ass car man there’s some things that’s going on and guess what i still got it seven years later
oh
okay i still have it
i’ve been wanting to get rid of it the entire time
i could Yeah but I’m still driving it i could I could go That’s just you
no I could go sell it tomorrow no I could go sell it tomorrow but it’s still what i still believe in the car i just don’t believe in the person
and he’s got a no trade clause on the car
got no trade got no trade class on the Tesla all right uh let’s
It took you It took you It took you an hour to come up with that analogy
we have only been on the show for 40 minutes all right listen before we get on to the next topic uh let’s tell let’s let’s just talk about something that’ll just make us all How about that folks uh listen something that will kind of uh take your blood pressure down uh is uh getting a nice discount at your favorite convenience store and obviously one of the best places to get that discount will be at Circle K circle K America’s favorite convenience stop let’s be let’s be real and I feel like every single week now you can save about 40 50 cents off uh per gallon on gas if you’re a part of the inner circle and you should do that today if you have not become a part of the inner circle you just need to go download the inner circle app uh put in your phone number register and you’re going to get hooked up and especially right off the bat you’re going to save 25 cents a gallon on your first five Phillips uh you get you know fro uh I’m sorry Polar Pops uh and Frosters that are at a discounted rate as well 79 cents uh and I believe it’s 69 cents when you put in your inner circle app uh phone number which is always nice so make sure you download the Inner Circle app today by going to inner uhcircle.com/ininnercircle for more details terms and conditions do apply um and see show notes for details and then also uh obviously Branded Bills one of the best hats in the game unfortunately neither one of us are wearing a Brandon Bills cap but we have them on display behind us
ej was wearing one on TV last night
what’s that
ej was wearing one on TV last night
brandon Bills look at that okay there we go phone my man Cam
wear wearing his PHX hat love that love that i didn’t even know you were on there last night anyway Brandon Bills uh in his homegrown it started out in Mesa and it is blowing up across the country uh you know I flew to Philadelphia a couple weeks ago and I saw multiple people wearing Brandon Bills caps out there in Philly which was really cool to see it is nationwide right now and you can save some money by going to branded billills.com and use promo code BBPHNX by uh and and save yourself up to 15% on your first order uh and if you go to our website we also have branded bills caps in there on the merch site as well uh and they’re fantastic you got the little PHX uh Phoenix on there so go to branded bills.com and save yourself some money today all right all right we’re all good we’re all good everybody’s calm now uh but let’s raise that temperature a little bit more so there’s a little bit of scuttle out there uh some of it has been debunked some of it is not uh about a variety of different players uh so uh we’re going to start with Chris Paul uh there are rumors that say that Chris Paul and the Suns could be looking at a reunion but that Chris Paul um is also eyeing uh other places to go like the Clippers or the Lakers uh and uh I know Chris Paul is a fan of the Valley uh he likes the Valley and obviously we’ve we’ve had our best run uh uh you know in recent years with Chris Paul on the fold
played 82 games last year
would you there you go see availability is the best ability
40 years old so you So it’s all about 40y old car
before he buys a brand new one go right
would you be on board with bringing back Chris Paul
yes why
i love him
i think he’s he’s one of the best leaders in basketball although you know when you have great leadership people tend to want to turn sideways because you don’t let them breathe and you know he’s just a connector man and it’s unfortunate he has not won a championship uh that just lets you know how difficult it is to win a championship uh and so I can name greats all the greats that have not won and and so yeah I mean especially when a guy wants to be here and he’s the perfect guy for what I’m talking about in regards to the offense that could be run with these with these unbelievable scores that we have on this team uh he doesn’t have to he’s past those days where he has to overexert himself to be a great facilitator to these guys he doesn’t need that you just need a guy that knows how to write make the correct pass you know that’s what we lose sight of let’s look historically Saul was John Stockton the fastest guy yep it has nothing to do with being able to dominate like you know like you either going to have your Kevin Johnson’s of the world that can go downhill and really force the defense to collapse and then you can you know you can facilitate but Kevin can do both
like Chris was has never been the guy that puts pressure on you at the rim you know he’s a mid-range one of the best mid-range players we’ve ever seen but he knows how to make the correct pass based on the execution of the offense like for instance here’s an example okay say uh Malawak is that how you pronounce the name
malaw yep
malawatch he comes down he sets a screen for Devin to come off okay and I just want people to envision this it’s just simple basketball stuff it that the Pacers ran this year you know uh and sometimes Oklahoma City ran it as well say he sets a down screen on Deon say Devin comes off the screen now the guy that’s guarding Malawatch has got to make a decision cuz if you allow first of all Devin has to set him up to make the defender chase him or try to get through or go over the top but once Devin comes off there’s a lot of decisions that are to be made right on that simple play okay here’s the first play okay which is for the big guy say his man helps too much he slips he’s got a dunk that’s one okay two now the defender say the defender tries to fight through the screen deon just pops up 15 16 feet boom wide open jumper guy doesn’t help out okay say the defender chases well Deon’s got the easiest opportunity he just curls
boom hit him layup say the guy goes over the top of the screen Devin Flares corner jumper
i made a living on that man without working hard only because I set the pickup and the guy scream you don’t have to hit the guy just make the guy make make a detour that’s it and then you adjust to the detour so Chris Paul is excellent at reading that most guys that play can’t read it
which is crazy to me
can’t freaking read it oh guy’s chasing him oh he’s got a curl oh oh guy going over the top doom throw it over the top flare without even thinking about it like it’s that kind of stuff man that is missing in our game that has to improve on then throwing the ball into the post knowing how to throw it in right guy’s very aggressive high side okay take a two dribbles over boom bounce pass he’s got him sealed catch it lay it up he don’t do it so it’s just simple stuff that’s what Chris Paul knows like that’s what makes him great because he understands how to find it and get to the guy’s strength right away not he don’t have to take a dribble have to do anything extra boom go up and shoot it and do what God gave you is to be an unbelievable shooter and like I said if Brad is still here that’s what we have and so yes I believe Jordan Aunt if those three are here can can create stuff to make the game easier for them not to say take them totally off the ball i’m saying half over a half over a half of the time off the ball like you know and and I’m telling you man it flows because these guys aren’t ready for stuff like that now they so locked in now and running to the three-point line that’s why Indiana got to the final so
yeah I know
because they weren’t running to the three-point line man they blended out to the three-point line after they forced you to retreat all the way to the paint okay but they were going for layups they going for mid-range they That’s why they got to the finals oklahoma City that’s why they got to the finals and won it they won it they won a game in the finals man and only attempted what 10 three but they only made like two or three threes
yeah it’s that’s why times are going back to where it should be man and how you play basketball and those two teams epitomize how you should play and it caught the league by surprise so that’s my point like you know so I’m just hopeful that it’s that type of offense and not this just run up and down chuck it up three stuff man it it’s just irritating yeah listen i I I have no disagreement with you and I will say this if you bring CP3 in then I think you could convince me that keeping Bradley Beal would wouldn’t be the wouldn’t wouldn’t be bad i I will say that and listen I I I think Bradley Beal is a good player i just don’t think that the Suns are getting the value out of him that they would like because of the salary that they’re having to pay for limited action and so you bring CP3 into the fold and CP3’s way of of really just organizing everything on the court making it simple to a certain degree for players a little bit clearer in terms of identifying how to utilize the defense uh utilize the defense’s weaknesses against them uh I think that’s where CP3 excels like he’s one of the most intelligent basketball players of all time uh and he and he’s cerebral in his approach and and CP3 the reason why he rubs people the wrong way sometimes is because he is so staunch about his approach and he’s methodical and he’s done his homework and he knows exactly where to attack defenses that he is not going to accommodate you and your laziness that’s what I love about CP3 but that’s also what rubs people the wrong way it’s because he’s constantly he’s constantly Yeah he’s constantly pushing his his teammates and sometimes it wears thin and they want to get out like so I I I agree that CP3 coming in here especially with a young a team that’s getting younger and younger it could only have a a tremendous amount of influence so I wouldn’t mind seeing CP3 come through those doors uh again I think now is a good time to bring them back um and I think it could elevate the Suns to where they need to be uh so I think we agree on that part uh to me there’s a there’s a really odd thing that I feel like is kind of behind the scenes i haven’t heard anything so don’t get me wrong but I’m going to throw this out there if there were a place to trade Bradley Beal that he would like to go I would think that would probably be one of those places in California hm lebron just opted into his deal and but LeBron also made it known that he’s not exactly like on the up and up with where the Lakers are going right now i think that’s probably because like Luca is going to get you know every opportunity to be the guy in LA as LeBron is transitioning out of the league there could be a scenario there again I haven’t looked at the numbers so just Okay uh there could be a scenario there where maybe the Suns would trade Bradley Beal for a LeBron
and who
i don’t know i don’t know
i mean trade trade you listen listen i’m not saying one-on-one i’m just saying listen there’s a lot of factors here right
uh who whose son is playing down in Tucson this year no we not talking about where LeBron would want to go but if he wanted to go there he could have opted out and been a free i’m just saying like I feel like if CP3 came to the Suns you know they’ve always talked about playing together i’m just saying hypothetically what if that scenario were to play out
he would look I think he would do it i think if it was doable uh cuz I think he wants to have a chance to win a title but he still wants to be quote unquote the best player on the team uh and anywhere that he goes uh because they’re going to have to get rid of their best player pretty much or close to it or an abundance of guys he’s going to be close to the best player on the team on many nights not it could be not overall okay and I don’t think he cares about it but many nights he’s going to be the best player uh and so that’s always the issue and so those are the teams he’s going to look at and without a doubt he’d look at the Suns team because he knows one they’ve come close they haven’t been able to get over the hump he loves Deon Booker and he would want that
he got some wild comments oh
I know i said “Bill please leave see what you’re doing you’re making my favorite podcast fight with each other because of you.”
That’s funny that’s funny Samuel that’s funny uh that’s Samuel Romeo that’s pretty funny uh that’s only because you don’t know them it’s easy to dislike somebody you don’t know
nobody dislikes
no no no no look I’m not talking to you okay
i’m just saying in general to our fans it’s easy to dislike somebody you don’t know once you get to know them then you judge it once you know the circumstances then you judge it that’s why I’m on this show okay i know certain things that I won’t say but I will give you an idea to summize to yourself you know oh okay like but back to the LeBron thing
real quick i got to read this one it said “Trey Beal for broad sign CP3 bring EJ out of retirement youth movement.” Exclamation point
that’s funny that’s funny
i like that little
trust me I will never put another damn uniform on okay uh well they give me see they give me two million i I come out i like the real You might have to carry me out after the game but I’d come out uh so yeah I don’t know i don’t know what LeBron is doing with this uh but you can’t second guess this dude he has been creative with his contracts over his career as no other i mean let’s just put it where it is and he’s never you know requested to be traded when he’s under contract uh he’s always played his contracts out and he deserves credit for that uh you know he has never been one to force himself out of somewhere he just said “Hey I’ll sign a two-year deal and I’ll leave.” You know it’s what he’s done
and so you know he’s there something going on with this it truly is i honestly believe that he actually wants to go back to Cleveland to finish his career
oh
I think that’s the only I think that’s the one place that he would go back to
i don’t think he would do that
still got house there
i don’t think he and Bryce like that
i honestly Well they college now
i know he wants to be close he wants to be close he
No he won’t be close he What he going We got He going to move to Arizona like this man got this man got his own jet he can get on a plane he can wake up in two in the morning say “Man get the plane ready and be there and go to sleep while he’s on the plane.”
It’s still gonna take three or four hours to get there
but he can go to sleep and got freaking fivestar meals have somebody on there rubbing his feet are you kidding me like what’s the difference in them flying in a plane like this he ain’t got to go check in no baggage he just have a limo take him right to his plane he got a bed on his plane probably just go in there and go to sleep please come on man the way these dudes live they ain’t got nothing to do with it all I’m saying is his kids is his his daughter is the is the one now she’s the one
that’s holding on
you think she wants to go to Cleveland
no but my point is I’m saying she’s the one uh that’s why he probably wouldn’t to side with you
but his kids man his kids are grown now his kid his son is playing it’s probably best he knows he needs to separate himself from his son uh Bronnie and then his son is in Tucson so for one year I actually believe this is last year
i I I kind of feel like that too
i think this is last year and and I think he did the commercial he’s doing his commercial with Amazon he’s got an announcement to make
all this stuff that he’s you know how he is he’s real cryptic in everything that he does
i actually believe this is his last year
okay well and and if that’s the case he’s lining it up cuz why wouldn’t he just go ahead and take another hundred million
man i don’t know i don’t know
seriously I mean I
he could take the 100 million and still retire and they’ll probably pay him i think the Lakers are I’m not going to say the Lakers are ready to move on but I feel like the Lakers are ready to move on from from the LeBron era
really because I think they want to hand the torch over to Luca and start building that up in in in his eyes maybe he wants to leave the Lakers because maybe he doesn’t trust that Luca even though he looks skinny now you know I saw a picture you know and I don’t trust anything on pictures now with this AI technology i mean he he looking like Manu Bo he looking like Bobo you seen the picture oh man thin as I don’t know he ain’t that not that thin but he’s thin literally thin there’s a picture on on X yesterday maybe we can pull it up maybe our quick witted
producer Shane
producer Shane would pull it up but he he looks weird
luca skinny
yeah put Luca skinny it’ probably pop up
uh real quick before uh before we get to overtime uh if you want to join us for overtime make sure you hop on over to any of our streaming platforms if you’re watching this on uh one of our uh favorite providers uh for those of you on YouTube just just stick where you’re at right there so uh go carry on
no so I think you know he’s probably a little bit he’s noticed in this short time with Luca maybe he doesn’t trust him
maybe now word I got out of LA was you know they weren’t too happy with certain things right away with him uh so I don’t like to do anonymous you know
sure
stuff but it’s true that they do think that way
uh and so and I can see it you know because he’s not going to change like he’s not going to change the way he is as a person uh you talking about Luca or LeBron
luka luka gotcha yeah but you know he can change the way he plays how he approaches the game but I think he’s still gonna go to his own drummer uh so we’ll see how that plays out but maybe that could be why LeBron did the one-year deal cuz he doesn’t believe he can probably win with him
interesting uh last topic uh before we wrap it up uh DeAndre Aiden uh is going to uh be waved by the Portland Trailblazers and uh will be playing for a new team next year uh a lot of people out there seem to think that he will he will be a mid-level exception type of player now uh for the foreseeable future uh you know listen I it would be I I know there’s a lot of rumors about him possibly going to the Lakers and and things of that nature but I I I first of all he’s not coming to the Suns straight up that’s just not going to happen
we have nine centers there yeah they don’t need him because they have a plethora of of big men right now on the roster so there’s no need for for DeAndre Aiden but I will say this I I I when it comes to DA there’s a part of me that feels sad that he was not able to reach the potential that I thought he could reach um even despite that he was part of one of the greater uh you know runs uh in franchise history going to the finals uh and then also you know one of seven players I believe or one of five players in the last seven years to average uh 15 and 10 in the first seven seasons so there’s that but there’s also you know so many other things about the DA era here and also just in Portland and his entire career where he just has not lived up to the standard that everybody thought and the Luca situation doesn’t help which by the way I just what I just love about the Luca conversation is that everybody just seems to disregard completely that Luca was not the first or second pick in the NBA draft uh or third or fourth he was picked fifth and traded to Atlanta for Trey Young who had the third pick so like
four three other organizations had more egregious errors than the Suns I would say so uh it’s just interesting to see
uh we got that Luca photo ready to go all right let’s go uh and there it is uh the Luca photo look at that
he is pretty skinny look at him
pretty skinny
he tried he dropped
he look like I mean I don’t know where he went like he went to like they locked him up for about They did some real strangerous lock up for him he locked see that’s the problem somebody locked him and locked him away he couldn’t eat he couldn’t smoke the what they call the ukah
theuka the donuts come on man i mean like but then he gets unleashed back in LA and he’s back eating hamburgers drinking beer it doesn’t so what good does it do to be skinny in the off season but then show up big again the season
i mean hey listen man
uh despite all that tremendous player still so anyway
DA DA is a good dude uh you know and I I think he’s a he’s a good person he’s a good human being right but you know the the fact that he said you know what when asked what does success look like to you and he said getting to that second contract that that really deterred a lot of people in their eyes because it just made it seem like it was just about the money and listen we’ve seen players uh have those kind of approaches before and and it’s not really ideal because you want to make sure that they they have a love for the game um but there’s also the bohemian nature of of DA that you have to take into account and that’s just he’s just kind of a an easy breezy type of dude and that does that does not fit with uh fans in in some respects but again I thought he balled out in 2021 i thought he balled out in the playoffs in 2022 uh you know when Devin was hurt him he and CP3 basically carried them past a tough Pelicans team um I thought there was a lot to like there about DA but then it just it went off the rails unfortunately and now he’s uh going to be finding a new home and listen as a UFA Wildcat even being biased as I am I was disappointed in the DA era because I felt like he was he was he was more valuable than what he what he put forward and I hope that he’s able to find himself on track but I feel like that’s a repetitive theme of hope that we keep wishing for the guy
shame i’m about ready to throw up see see that’s that Arizona protective device going up in here you know be quiet
just protected for a half an hour be quiet be quiet give me two seconds be quiet man i mean are you freaking kidding me
oh he know what you sound like you know what you sound like everybody I’ll see if you agree with me you know what Saul sounds like right now he sounds like the guy like you know the crazed animal that that shoots up shoots up a grocery store or is a serial killer and they catch him and they interview the people around him
where are we going he was he was uh he was you know we didn’t know him i mean he was really quiet in the neighborhood i just never thought that he would do anything
are you talking about me i knew that’s how you protecting DeAndre i’m Let me finish and I’ll tell you why okay like you you hear these people on TV everybody is on is it look life is like this man you either going to be good or you’re going to be bad and it doesn’t take much to be bad it doesn’t you walk in the store and you see something that you can’t afford and you’ve been a great person your entire life but you want that right now right then and now but you don’t have the money right it’s just one little hiccup in your mind that makes you reach for it and put it in your pocket okay automatically it’s it’s it’s this close there’s a lot of people in prison i just got a nephew that’s got to prison for 10 years and the reason he was in prison is because he associated himself with the wrong person on the wrong day that’s all it was that’s all it was great kid great kid but just that little mistake i once read a story about a lady that was great in the community was unbelievable parent all of that right went to lunch had a drink one drink of wine and I think she had to take some medication or something and she got in her car and she ran somebody over and she went to prison for 20 years like we know it’s a thin line deandre we can’t make excuses for him deandre was the number one pick in the NBA deandre is ultra talented he’s 7 foot one jumper inside post game when he wants it decent passer can be a good defender he’s a good dude as you say all of that but here’s the one problem he stepped over the line of lazy he’s lazy put it where it is i’m not disagreeing with that okay then so he stepped over the line of lazy and that’s bad there’s no I don’t make excuses for that i didn’t say he was that was
No but what I’m saying is but you brought out all the good intangibles we know that but the problem is he’s making a ton of money he is very talented he’s the number one pick but he’s lazy
yeah he’s non-committed basketball is not his love it’s not I’ve said it all the time about him it’s not his first love and you can see it
i know this
okay so my point is criticize him on that we know he’s not a bad person but he’s bad in regards to owning up to his responsibility on the damn basketball court
and playing and playing and using his talent i don’t care he’s been injured i don’t care nothing about him being injured i’m talking about the effort when he’s on the court the effort when he showed up to work and he could work the effort and he’s been up and down his entire career and he gives his name to dominating dominating what dominating not playing hard that’s my issue with him like his family all of that nice kid but he’s lazy and for me as an athlete and a guy that had to give extra because of my limitations I wasn’t seven feet tall you know to not go out there and play and love the game and put your all into it you get a second chance the embarrassment of being traded you go to a young team in Portland and now they just want to buy you out what that tell you man they don’t even want they don’t want anything to do with him if they’re trying to buy you out
and you’re that young he needs to look in the mirror man and try to save his career if he wants it or is he just satisfied now it’s embarrassing for him i’ve seen it before most big guys a lot of big guys that’s why you see a lot of big guys walking around say “Damn did he play basketball?” No he didn’t cuz he didn’t like it he didn’t want to play at least he made a decision not to play he can’t help it because he’s tall deandre is tall and he plays basketball good okay he could play it great but he’s okay with good and he’s got to own up to that it’s the only thing I’ve ever said about him i’ve watched him man i’ve watched him not compete i’ve watched him stand and watch a little guy get a rebound i’ve watched it you know and I had to talk about it and ignore it cuz I had to be balanced you know and I’m telling you any big guy that played with me they will tell you they will tell you i wouldn’t throw them a damn ball if they ain’t set a good screen for me I’m not giving it to you you if I see you don’t rebound please you won’t you won’t get nothing from me and I’m telling you man that’s that’s just how it was that’s how we thought about it man like he’s got to wake up man this is embarrassing it’s embarrassing for him cuz he’s talented you know and it seriously I’m emotional with this it takes me off because I hate seeing guys like this that make a ton of freaking money and they get rewarded for it he’ll get rewarded for it again he’ll get bought out somebody’s going to pay him so somebody’s going to pay him
i know i know you know and that part right there kills me and he’s got to know this right here cuz I’ve been pretty balanced on DeAndre i’mma destroy you next team you go to telling you on this show here and my radio show I’m going to destroy you if you haven’t learned your lesson now they let they let go of you and you go somewhere and you do the same stuff i’mma tear you one and I’mma say stuff that I’ve held because it’s it’s just not right to be this talented and shortcut like he has
mhm
it’s just not man that Portland team’s pretty good they’re gonna be pretty good next year he should be mad that they breaking away from him they’re gonna be good next year man mark my word the stuff they’ve done True Holiday bringing him over the defense that they the defenders that they have and how hard they played last year they’re going to be good they’re going to be like Detroit to this this past year was mark my word it’s on him man you know it’s just And people out there stop saying all these things and I’m not just getting on you he needs to get ripped so he can save his career bottom line all right i mean wow okay listen you didn’t say anything that I’m disagreeing with you know yeah i want him to succeed i want him to find it within himself to find out what was going on in his head and how to you know change it i like the guy i’m rooting for him but he has fell wildly short of expectations because of his own actions and performance so you didn’t say anything that that was absolutely wrong at all and uh I do agree with you so hey there’s a the the comparison that you used at the beginning was wild though so it’s just No no no it’s really not though because because it bothers me man no but but but any crime it just bothers me when they put a a a camera in the people’s face mhm
and you know how I am you know I’m very political and you know I’m in the community and it just certain things just bothers me and to interview people and they’re trying to find the good side of somebody that just did something egregious okay talking about well he’s a he he’s a nice guy we didn’t know him like this he was quiet
everybody there’s so many people in prison right now that did spontaneous crimes
i get that either
so I don’t want to hear it
but at the end of the day too like let’s be real like it’s basketball
no it’s No he’s No no it’s basketball
it’s not
okay murdering people if you No no well it’s not just mur Well I use a drastic example yeah but I use the more drastic example because if people are saying somebody’s nice and they do that then they’re saying they’re nice if they just steal they’re saying they’re nice if they don’t if they steal money which is a a white collar crime whether you uh doing it through computers or you get paid it and you don’t go out and do your job because you’re focused on something else you you’re stealing and so all those people to me like I don’t want to hear anything that oh they’re nice and all of that because yeah everybody is on the good side are nice i’m sure some people that committed crimes like it’s people that like them like you know because like hey man they he was friends with them cuz they didn’t even know that they were egregious that’s all I’m saying so when people come out and they say that I’m like hold up hold up we know he’s nice we know he’s a good He was a good guy to certain people but he wasn’t a good guy to that guy he wasn’t a good guy to that guy that’s all I’m saying and those and those family members don’t think he’s a good guy
so this you know that’s just my that’s my run for office take all right i ain’t running for no office tell you that right now i’m going run from the office well folks we do appreciate you joining us on another episode of Outside Shots we’ll be back again next Monday uh maybe you’ll we’ll be remote we might not be in studio next Monday but we’ll find out uh for
