the biggest reason to extend him now is like well what are you getting ahead of what kind of player do you think he’s going to be do you think he’s going to become like Muel Alexander Walker like that level
uh if that’s the fear then okay then you probably missing an opportunity to get him at something uh at a nice value
um but I don’t anticipate he’ll blow up quite like that in which case they should probably be able to extend them later at something that makes sense so maybe they get the best of both worlds they still get them at a good deal while keeping their flexibility for this
