Amari Williams 2024-25 Best Highlights | Welcome to Boston ☘️

is set the other way now kentucky chance to push oh and alone almost forgetting rushing was shot oh great
brock Robinson wide open down low and a beautiful feed from Amari Williams they’re all about fitting in on a team and helping them win and that was very important to John Sh not just the talent but the fit on this team when they went into the portal that is going to count little old school basketball low post great block by Amari Williams approaching the under eight timeout kentucky in control as there’s another block this time it’s Amari Williams the Cats have a threeon two if they hurry carr shifting down low williams taken off
the corner and flipping it up with the inside hand and Williams throws it down lamont pretty good look at a three robinson up ahead finds Williams who touch it home mark C may have found a new point guard in Jackson Robinson [Applause] williams dumps it off to Robinson for the end what a pass by the big man Williams that one’s off the mark for Robinson nice rebound with the stretch arm again williams in close and no foul and a bucket williams first basket oh great find lily oh the block at the rim lewis had that one pinned off the glass recovers from behind and pins it to the glass
with another offensive rebound ow just took it away from him late ow the leading scoreer misses the runner and the foul is going to go from Ari Williams just went to try to block that shot that allowed him to wedge in even further phelps had 11 in the first half will basic dumps it off denied at the rim by Williams robinson are for Kentucky watch it williams took advantage of it they will call the basket he brings it from 40 ft and the contact was on the ground and this is a right there’s the foul and he takes another step could be called continuation i Good pass to Brea another big dunk and he saves himself by hanging on to that rim williams no but he stops him the left hand hammer [Applause] behind the back pass what a dime from Williams got to love the shoulder dive to Alanor oh the L pass and Williams throwing it down on somebody’s head williams defended by Milichic going right at him and scores williams is open not a three-point shooter he sees we got 5 seconds left he may be forced to shoot it and he buries it amari Williams first three of the season this is a have to Texas does a good job of eliminating that dribble handoff and Williams just fires with a short clock and it looks good williams nice look away and the slam the basketball is that an official stat somewhere tipping the basketball
oh that’s a statin he tries to reach on that other side and absolutely no help that time by Tyler Nickel
play call they’ll hand it to Bria the alleyoop perfect here on Saturday more tangled up and make it four miscues to start williams comes away with a steal
great recognition by Amari Williams
ahead to Carr blaze it up and in beautifully
beautiful play
does not switch as often they do in emergency situations another great cut and Amari Williams with a beautiful pie to Otega Owen
these guys keep that score there different world now in college basketball especially with that portal oh good ali wanted Williams you’re thinking about it i guarantee you hurdling down the lane williams top the ball off the glass going post coast to coast and leading the break and then Yukon came in and won it second straight they sure did nice step through Amari Williams a good fe for big fell still fighting strong they got it back under 20 as that one blocked by Amari Williams bucknell wanted goalending no look pass williams in transition layup is good and he’s fouled
2828 just overall rebounding statistics
amari Williams threw some contact oh got his own miss and put it right back in
nine lives i don’t know how many Panthers have
i think that was his last one williams unranked on the rebound and still got it to go are you serious and Amari Williams has stepped up his game in a big way mix up the defense in the second half line lob and a finish from Williams look at this lobs it be over his head the no look lob dunk
illinois there’s a steal another one williams will rock it to the rim defender here he just steps right into the passing lane and you’re not
they have been tough there’s an avenue underneath for big number 22 Williams so well for the Wildcats all car stripped it away that time for Kulie the run out williams he was handed a readjust in midair williams up over Alexis and in you know he’s going to go right back to that right shoulder he is left-handed and dominant left-handed but Alexis just brings those arms down a bit gets that contact oay has it he finds Williams who finds the bucket and that may do it they lead by 12 with a buck 20 to go carr down to Williams big match up oneonone here with Z backs in goes to his left gets it to go why foul yeah this guy’s a force that That’s just a a match that he’s going to win probably nine out of 10 times has and he’s got Mark on him now Williams goes to work coming back to that right shoulder just too strong as he throws it up and in off the window also a play finisher
i said right there he’s going to get back to that right shoulder and when he does it is over
missing a little bit after having Stevenson roll up on his left leg so we’ll keep an eye on that looked pretty good with a spin move oh I think he’s okay
tell him one thing he recognized the mismatch right there
the basket is by definition going to be a tough two both of these teams loaded with transfers kentucky an entirely new team this year including Williams as we mentioned a fifth year player from Drexel and I again knocked away Williams another block for him he’ll go the other way and then I don’t know what is thinking about he’s standing right there and here he goes again say a bicycle shot kind of a machine shot on a short corner i feel like Florida desperately needs a stop they’re not going to get it
seem to play like Nelly Davis not John El Davis that’s right oay tough pass good hands williams and he flushes it right over Knox and company is it Otega oay time he spins in no good but Williams cleans it up
these guys in the half court oh Williams again hanging and finishing williams driving on broom up and in and a chance for three just gave up a left-hand drive to a lefty a big strong skilled lefty
williams he now has eight there he comes look at him gallop no getting Oh he jackhammerred it in on the fly wow

  1. I don’t care how good these highlights are. Anybody in college for more than 3 years is not an nba caliber player. Why we always drafting these meaningless as players man. Smh. All these 2nd rd picks to just get G league players. We had a horrible draft too! Hugo the only player that even have a slight chance at making the rotation. That’s it.

  2. I think he can eventually become a backup big in the league. 90% of my problems with him go away if he sinks his hips more and dribbles less.

  3. With KP gone Amari Williams is going to get enough minutes my guy. We need Al to show him ins of it all. JT is coming back to win back to back best believe with these dudes lesrning from JB and White with AL being godfather

  4. Hard to see how his game will translate but I think there’s potential that he will be a beast in the NBA. He has a couple bad habits from college they’ll have to break like bringing the ball down after grabbing the offensive rebound that would been stripped immediately

  5. Thanks, Timi! If he can learn to shoot free throws well, I don't care if he develops a better midrange game. I'm sure he can learn defensive schemes.

  6. He actually seems underrated. How did he fall so far? He’s not a bad rebounder. There’s players that maybe succeeded more than him in stats like blocks n steals. But he really has an all around game. Can score, pass, rebound, defend and shoots well. Plus Kentucky is a phenomenal school. I think the Celtics might’ve found a gem.

  7. His passing and dribbling reminds me of …jokic. If he can develop a solid 3 point shot, that would get him time on the court.

  8. It looks like he will be able to finish in the paint and rebound and with his height he can protect the rim. It seems too good to be true getting him at 46 but with his age and lack of shooting he isn't a fit for every team but he could be great for 10-18 minutes a night with his skillset on this team.

  9. he has a bit of nasty & that dog in him, something we need, & very versatile for his size. I think could contribute some next year

  10. Thanks Timi. Your video is all I know of this guy as I don’t follow college. He looks smart and serious, with some flair. Should work well with Jaylen Brown etc.

  11. i pray that hes the kornet replacement bc im sorry we need athleticism at the big man position. we have a bad athleticism deficiency

  12. Tatum being out for a year or so will allow everybody on our team to take a huge leap including this big fella. There’s big advantages to Tatum being out for a year in this regard

  13. Would love to see him be able to finish with his right hand more, but hes a 2nd round pick for a reason. Cant expect him to be able to do it all. Im probably more excited about him than Hugo tbh

  14. I like this kids game. Can pass and handle the rock. He reminds me of James Wiseman though. Hopefully he can put it together and be serviceable.

  15. The only other guys that are that big that ive seen wtih handles like that are embiid and jokic sooooo
