Chicago Bulls Rumors: Coby White HINTS At Trade + Jonathan Kuminga Trade Rumors
What’s going on everybody? Welcome into the Bulls Report. My name is Patrick Seatman. And coming up on today’s show, I want to talk about three players. That being Kobe White, Jonathan Kaminga, and Nico Vuch. We’re getting reports that Kobe White could be on the way out. Could the Bulls potentially trade Nicole Vuvich for Anthony Simons? And then the Jonathan Kaminga signing trade. Those rumors will not go away. So, we’ll talk about all three of those stories on today’s show. But before we do so, make sure you guys are subscribed here to the channel. If we get any breaking news around the Chicago Bulls, I will make a video for you guys ASAP. We’re all assuming Josh Giddy will get resigned here eventually. So once that news breaks, we’ll make a video for you guys as soon at it as it happens. And if you guys are subscribed to the channel, just give me a me down below in the comments section so I can see where all the real ones are at. So, Kobe White recently took to Instagram and posted a very, very interesting story and he posted a photo of him walking out of the United Center. I’ll put it up on screen right next to me right now. And he was dapping up a bunch of Bulls fans and he had the song by Mustard saying, “Pray for me.” And then also the caption on it was thanking him for everything till infinity. Now, this could just be Kobe posting on Instagram, which I think it most likely is, but Bulls fans took this and ran with it as people are assuming Kobe White knows that a trade is coming. I disagree with that. I don’t really understand that thought process, but again, very interesting timing of this post as well from Kobe. But I think the Bulls I think they’re probably going to roll with Kobe White and see what they have with a backcourt duo of him and Josh Giddy. Now, I am sure they’re viewing Kobe White as like their Andrew Nemhard where you have Josh Giddy being that Tyresese Hallebertton, that facilitator at the point guard spot, big body, you know, 6’8. And, you know, Giddy was awesome during the second half of the season, almost averaging a 20point triple double post Allstar break in 19 games. And I’m assuming they’re thinking that Kobe White could be that guard next to him, even though he has lapses defensively, which definitely frustrate me with Kobe White because he does have good size. Like, he’s a 6’5 guard. If we could just see anything defensively from Kobe, his stock will rise tremendously in my eyes because we know Kobe, he is one of the best natural scorers in the NBA with the basketball in his hands. He can score from all three levels. If he’s coming off that pick and roll, he can step into a jump shot, knock down the three, get to that pull-up midi. He’s improved his floater game. And honestly, one thing that impressed me a lot this past season with Kobe is him attacking bigs. He can use angles very well to get the ball over the top. He really impressed me in that aspect of the game. But also, if you’re the Bulls and let’s just play the hypothetical that that Orlando Magic trade was true where they offered the Bulls two first round picks, Jonathan Isaac and Cole Anthony for Kobe White. If you could get some sort of package similar to that, I think you have to take it. Now, the Bulls have also refused to trade players for draft capital over the last couple of years. Like think about the combination of draft picks they got for Zack Lavine, Demar De Rozan, Lonzo Ball, and Alex Cruso. They just got their own first round pick from uh back from the San Antonio Spurs. And honestly, if you didn’t trade Zack Lavine, I mean, if that number 12 pick that the Bulls used to draft Noah Sen was going to San Antonio, we would be crashing out right now as Bulls fans. But I don’t think Kobe White’s going to get dealt, I could be very wrong on this. And I honestly I think this is going to play out where the Bulls almost wait a little too long like they’ve done with all of these other trades where they don’t trade him this summer. Maybe during the season they end up trading him for a significantly lesser package that they could have potentially got. I would move Kobe and slot Io into the starting lineup. I think I would be a much better fit next to Josh Giddy considering what he brings defensively. IO is one of the best point of attack defenders in the league. He’s also tremendous in transition. He runs the floor extremely well. He’s an extremely fast, athletic player and that archetype of guard I think just fits better next to Josh Giddy. I’m hoping I’m wrong and the Bulls can keep IO on the bench and have him be one of the best bench pieces in the NBA. But I’ll toss this question your guys’ way. Would you trade Kobe White? Give me a T for trade. Give me a P for pass. You guys let me know your thoughts down below in the comments section. If I’m calling the shots, I would do it. I would trade them. But it would have to be for a good draft hall. A draft hall, not a player hall. I want first round picks, some ammunition for the Bulls to kind of reset this roster and look more towards the future instead of just remaining in this purgatory zone they’ve been living in. But you guys let me know, would you trade Kobe White? All right, so next up, I do want to talk about the Nicole Vuvich Anthony Simons trade rumors that we have been getting. Um Brett Seagull reported that apparently the Celtics and the Bulls have had conversations around Nicole Vuchic and that guy coming back in a trade could potentially be Anthony Simon. So Anthony Simons in a contract year. He’s got one year remaining. He’s an extremely athletic, twitchy scoring guard. He’s had a great couple years in Portland. Now was he playing winning basketball? No. I mean he was kind of just doing his own thing out there. So, I’ll be curious to see if he gets and if he does stay with Boston in a winning organization, how his game translates there. But, I would like Anthony Simons, a guard off the bench, you could just kind of throw in there, give you 17, 18 a night on pretty efficient hoops, a good athlete, can run in transition, a great transition shooter as well. He finds the open spots, can just step into a three and knock it down. And if you just trade Vu for him, I say why not? Like, Nicole Vuchich is who he is. He is not going to be a part of the future of the Chicago Bulls. But what if you trade for Simons and then you potentially trade Josh Giddy, you move Io to the starting lineup and then your back court off the bench is Trey Jones and Simons. That’s a pretty intriguing back court in my opinion. So I would at least consider it. I I mean I don’t know if the Boston Celtics would do this deal. Now, they do have a massive need at the center spot. And also more on Vouch here with Miles Turner. Indiana Pacers Center signing with the Milwaukee Bucks today. Maybe Indiana is calling the Bulls about Vouch. And maybe the Bulls could just get draft capital from Indiana. If you could somehow swing Indiana’s first round pick for next season, I think that would be a must trade in my opinion for the Bulls. Even if there’s some protections on it, like top eight, top 10, I would still pull the trigger on that because let’s just say that’s 11th pick in the draft and you could potentially have two top 11 picks uh heading in the next season. That would be a pretty intriguing deal if I was a Bulls fan. But I don’t know, vouch for Simons. Would you guys do it? You guys want to know your thoughts down below. Now, I do want to close today’s show out talking about Jonathan Kaminga. So, for some reason, the Bulls keep on getting reported that they are interested in a Jonathan Kaminga trade. I thought after they drafted Noah Si that this would kind of be put to bed and there would be no more reports, no more rumors around the Bulls getting involved in a signing trade for Jonathan Kaminga. But knowing the Bulls and knowing the archetype of players that they have been bringing in over the last couple years, Kaminga fits that like a very athletic wing, a young player, can’t shoot the ball well, but Bulls don’t really care about that. Uh they just want guys that can run in transition with Josh Giddy thinking that will be you know the saving grace of this franchise. Um got more thoughts on that. That might be another video. Um just how the Bulls are, you know, building out this roster. But I think Kaminga would be an interesting piece. Now what would a trade look like in a signing trade? Now you got to take on or the Warriors would have to take on half of Kaminga’s salary. So let’s just say he signs for 25 a year. Well, it’s half of 25. It’s 12 and a half. That’s what Kobe White’s on. So maybe if Kobe White could potentially be traded for Jonathan Kaminga, you slot in Io in that starting lineup and then you roll out like could you imagine a Josh Giddy, IO, Kaminga, Bzelis, Vu starting five and the wings off the bench, Trey Jones, Kaminga is still got Jaylen uh Smith, you still got Jack uh Jack Collins, Zack Collins, excuse me. Like you would still have a very young athletic team. I have no idea how I would feel about this. I would have to believe it’s the Bulls trade for Kaminga. He is a piece because if it’s a signing trade, it’s a three-year deal at least. And it could be three for 75. The Bulls are landing Jonathan Kaminga. I think it’s unlikely this trade goes down. I think the Bulls, they like, at least in their minds. They like their back court. They like their wing situation. Front court, huge question mark. Still don’t know who the center of the future is going to be. Um, after Nicole Vuvich, which is also why I wish the Bulls just drafted Derek Queen. It’s like, “All right, there’s your guy. You still got Buzzel, Patrick Williams, Julian Phillips, Dalen Terry at the wing spot. I didn’t really think there was a need to go out there and get a guy like Noah Sen, but Jonathan Kaminga would be an interesting fit for this Bulls organization. He would fit in with what they’re trying to accomplish these young athletic wings who love to run on the perimeter with Josh Giddy. I have no idea. But again, you guys let me know, would you trade for Jonathan Kaminga? Um, type Y for yes, type N for no down below. And also hit that subscribe button on your way out. Appreciate all of you guys for tuning in. Little at home podcast style video today. Also, if you guys like these videos, let me know down below in the comment section as well. But we’ll see you guys next time. As always, go Bulls. [Music]

If we have the management left for three more years, we have to see how it’s gonna turn out if it doesn’t turn out by the end of the three years changes have to be made for the city of Chicago

The Bulls management stinks !!!!! They constantly get rid of their better players and keep the worst players! This is why it wont surprise me if they trade Coby White , one of their best players who worked his tail off to get better ! The Bulls are a laughing stock to the whole league !

Marc Spears reported last night that there was no market for Kuminga. One NBA exec said that JK is not worth a new contract, in a higher salary bracket. Teams are not going to strip their assets for JK. He will be lucky to get a qualifying offer. Spears said this on national television last night. Also, there's no market for Vuc. The Bulls waited too late to trade him. Ayo is a good player, but he's damaged goods with that shoulder and other injuries he's had recently. Keeping one/both of them depends on Giddey's new contract. P
T
P, Yes I would trade Vucevic.,Y
U keep saying draft capital have you not noticed that The Bulls don't value draft picks they will never make a trade like that AKME can't access talent to save their lives they would rather be lazy and pick from other teams they're mid players young with experience Marc talking about not missing steps and they do exactly that the Front Office and Ownership Is Pathetic Smdh
Many player agents love to through the Bulls name out there in "trade" rumors, because they know the Chicago fan base will make those rumors go viral. They are just trying to keep their client (Player) name in the media cycle. So trust me, the Kuminga stuff is most likely coming from Kuminga's camp, not the Bulls. Yes, absolutely trade Coby and Vuc, I'll throw Patrick Williams and Ayo in that as well. Bulls need to embrace flipping this roster and a rebuild of young draft prospects. Any player over 21 is a waste right now, unless their coming on a smaller/shorter deal and have a willingness to help develop/mentor young talent. The Bulls focus should be acquiring draft capital right now.

Trade Vuc and Coby. Time to tear it down.

Bulls need to resign Coby. They need shooters. If they trade Coby all they have is Huerter. Kuminga is not a shooter and is basically another version of Matas and Essengue. Why would you want that?
T
Trade Coby and the Bulls will have a better chance at getting AJ Dybantsa
Teams don't want Vooch. They might want Collins or Smith.

Let me know if there's anything I can do to help with your videos.

Why would this organization want a player that can't shoot well and two that draft pick this year wont see the court

If you are going to trade Coby it’s now. How value is at its highest and if you don’t think he a piece there is no reason to keep him. You can trade Vooch but you will only have one big left. Anfernee doesn’t have a position with the Bulls with Coby around. No more guard, small forwards.
