Are The Hawks Building A PERFECT Roster?

The Hawks are dominating the off season because last year they showed us what an ideal roster build around Trey Young looks like. Adding a top tier perimeter defender in Dyson Daniels, drafting a dynamic offball scorer in Zachary Reese, and unlocking Jaylen Johnson as a do-it-all number two. Since then, they’ve added Chrisaps Porzingis, a great rim protector and stretch five without giving up any assets. They’ve signed Nikquille Alexander Walker, an elite perimeter defender who can handle the ball and shoot. And they’ve picked up Luke Canard, a career 44% three-point shooter. Don’t forget, they’ve still got Anaka Kongu. So, we’re talking about a team that has a ton of shooting, a ton of defensive versatility, great rebounding, and most importantly, size. Trey is now the only player in their rotation who’s shorter than 6’5. And with the way they’ve surrounded him with dynamic, athletic wings, he’ll be able to run the show on offense. So, if they’re able to find a solid backup point guard for those non-traay minutes, we could be looking at a 50- win

The Hawks are dominating the early part of the NBA offseason, putting together a perfect roster around Trae Young.

  2. As a Laker fan I'm envious because the Hawks basically built the team for Trae that we need to build around Luka. Switch bigs, elite 3&D wings, athletes all around the roster, need that
