i called it essentially a no- lose situation I don’t think you have to win a championship but imagine if you do And you have the team to do it You got defenders now with you They’ve got scoring You got a fantastic coach that you vibe with You’ve got youth and athleticism You got age and leadership and Fred Van Vleet and some others And so you’ve got a grand opportunity here Imagine if you win the championship All the mental asterisks that some people have put beside your Golden State rings gone Kaput in an instant All this talk about you can’t be a leader You’re not a leader Gone in an instant Cuz this is a young team in need of leadership And we’ve talked about you particularly me as a top 20ish guy All of a sudden that becomes top 15ish Some people would say he’s in the conversation for top 10 So KD what an opportunity What a golden opportunity I know you don’t care It’s just about boxing out a little bit better than you did yesterday That’s all right though But go get that ring

  1. At this point for KD, he set the standard for himself to rock bottom after leaving golden state, just get to the 2nd round and he’s fine. A conference finals appearance would be the equivalent of a ring for KD cause he hasn’t been there since 2019.

  2. He won't do it. Okc could sit out all of next season, and he still wouldn't get a ring

  3. He has to win 2 with them, should had went to the Knick’s after golden state, he would be a hero in New York, win or lose, they love stars

  4. If they end up worse does he drop? I mean it wasn't that long ago Chris paiul was getting blown out as a favorite in the finals only for Nick and everyone else to bump him past stockton who's the reason he'll always be second in assists, also has the most steals, lead the nba in assists twice as often and along with Magic averaged the most assists per game, averaged nearly as many points per game despite playing fewer minutes per game and on a higher shooting percentage across the board, and also lost in the finals twice but to Jordan… anyway, it wasn't that long ago they were really good, added Beal and KD and became terrible…

  5. Lol KD already top 15 stop it Brou.. You know dam well KD Bron and Curry carried the last decade plus in chips and headlines

  6. KD winning a ring with the rockets is barely any different than winning with the warriors. Sure the rockets don’t have a 2 time mvp but they have one of the youngest rosters in the league and were the 2 seed in the west. They already have talent and a pre existing culture. This is the same exact way KD won his other 2 rings so this one wouldn’t mean much and wouldn’t impact his legacy that much

  7. We should’ve traded Fred. Jalen misses zero games and has room to improve Fred has no where to go but down hill

  8. Cut it out Kevin Durant couldn't lead that team across the street he couldn't do it at OKC, Brooklyn,Phoenix and now Houston he's not built like that to lead.
