Pistons Sign Caris LeVert To A 2-Year, $29M Deal
it was suggested that Carris Lever could be going to Detroit and we talked about this earlier today and here he goes he leaves Atlanta after having played for Atlanta and the Cavaliers this past year this was a guy that I thought he had a really good situation down there but it seems that they might be prioritizing their money somewhere else however Caris Lever one of the better six-man and a guy who’s actually hails from Michigan he’s going to be able to return there and I think that’s something that people don’t re realize caris Lever one of the better sixmans in the league he’s 30 years old went to the University of Michigan he’s from Columbus Ohio but that’s what I meant when he’s from Michigan in the sense that he went to the university played for the Nets the Pacers the Cavs the last few seasons and this past year the Hawks now he is a Detroit Piston and this past year with the Hawks he was a 15 point per game scorer now his shot with the Cavs was at 40% while with the Hawks it was 34% he’s career 34% three-point shooter he’s a guy who can play point guard shooting guard or small forward he’s a better defender than people give him credit he’s a guy who has career averages of 14 points about four re four four assists a game four rebounds and a steal a night he’s someone who is able to get to the you know the rack is also able to score from all three levels kind of got this herkyjerky style of play and with Dennis Schroeder Tim Hardway Jr Malik Beasley seemingly out of the picture you bring in Caris Levert to alleviate that with you know Jay and Ivy King Cunningham obviously Paul Reed seemingly came back as well as what Jaylen Duran they still have Beef Stew Simone Fonteio Jamal Shed and did I just say Mel Shed i meant Marcus Sasser ladies and gentlemen and with all that being said I think this is definitely one of those situations where I think they’ve done a good job of finding pieces for this bench that they knew scoring shot making and shooting was all things and just defense in general and just veterans to help alleviate the pressure from Jaden Ivy and Kate Cunningham was the biggest thing and this is a continuing trend even though they lost a few of those guys having Caris Levert there allows that second unit where it’s Paul Reed Beef Stew Moni Fontio Ron Holland and Caris Levert all be potential options and if they can bring back at least Tim Ordway Jr who seems like the closest to being available at a at a minimum contract I think that’s not the end of the world so to me I want to hear your guys’ thoughts so far what do you guys think of the addition of Caris Levert he’s going to be a guy who is going to help their second unit and I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up being a six-man of the year candidate for this team just from the way that he plays and how well he could be a good fit for JB Bigger Staff and Tjan Langden’s Detroit Troy Pistons so that’s where I want to hear your guys’ thoughts in the comments section down below what do you guys expect and why that’s basically going to be my two cents on here cheers
