Something’s Changing in Phoenix… And Suns Fans Should Be Excited
With this roster coming close to completion, I think that it is fair to say that this team’s going to be better than the last few years. And I think that’s because of addition by subtraction. Know it doesn’t make sense, but new math doesn’t. All right. Sometimes when you remove something, it can change the entire equation. And that’s not to say that Kevin Durant was a bad player. He wasn’t. He’s one of the all-time greats. And it’s not to say that Bradley Beal was a bad person. He isn’t. But it didn’t work. and I don’t think he’ll be here next year. And when you look at that, I think it completely changes the dynamic of what this roster is. And if you go down this roster and you compare things, it’s tough to say that this group is not going to be better, at least in terms of intangibles and the way things are approached. And I think in the win column than last year’s

This year's team is younger, more athletic, and has a more balanced roster. On paper this team looks better compared to last year's team.

Phoenix ain't doing shit next year! Maybe in 3 years. A fresh head coach and a newly acquired roster. They still have Bradley Beal. Maybe 30 wins next year.
I know I’m the lone wolf here on this take… but I actually would rather keep Beal and shop Jalen Green. We’d get a better return for Jalen than Beal, and Beal is a better player “currently”… then again Jalen is only 23 years old with a higher ceiling. Seeing as though Suns aren’t currently chasing a ring, youth should be priority. I still would like to keep Beal though, even if it’s for him to come off the bench. That’ll be an expensive bench player.. I’d give him this year to improve his trade value
Suns will suck next year. Be honest with yourselves. Who are they going to be better than in the West? They probably won’t be better than 1/2 of the east

They'll win maybe 25 games next year and that's being optimistic. All 3 Suns fans are used to it.
