URGENT: John Collins TRADE Market does it exist? | Two TRADES that could work for Utah Jazz

Is there a market for the Jazz John Collins? And do the Jazz have to move him? It’s next on Locked on Jazz. You are Locked on Jazz, your daily podcast on the Utah Jazz, part of the Locked On podcast network, your team every day. How are you? I’m David Lock, radio voice of the Utah Jazz, Jazz NBA insider, and this is Locked on Jazz. It’s your daily podcast on the Utah Jazz, giving you insight, expertise, geeky numbers, and hopefully making it way better to be a Jazz fan each and every day. Thank you for making Locked on Jazz your first listen of the day. We are free and available on all podcasting apps and on YouTube. Today’s show, what the heck are the Milwaukee Bucks doing? We’ll talk about that. Uh the buzz around the Jazz. We’ll touch a little bit on Walker Kesler’s extension, but probably more on that tomorrow. and do the Jazz need to trade and what is the market for John Collins? To the everydayers out there, you’re the best. Thank you so much for taking the time to join us each and every day on the program. I greatly appreciate it. I have to share um the cesspool that is No, it’s not actually a cesspool. X is actually I would love to find a place whether it’s a discord channel. We have so many really good people in our social circle of the you locked on jazz after nine years of doing this that I would love to 10 years 11 years 12 years whatever it is um nine years of locked on at this point by the way but I think it’s 12 years of locked on jazz um which had different iterations and the all the everydayers out there may know but I had somebody I’m so disappointed I’m so bummed there’s two things that have me just brokenly sad today tongue and cheek on one serious on the other somebody criticized B, don’t you like, yeah, be more professional. No, no, no, no. The day we’re more professional, we ruined the whole show. That’s the concept. The concept is literally that this show started so long ago that we had no production, no anything, no network, no nothing. That I was doing the drums as our own production. We’re not getting more professional. We have bobblehead dolls there and Kobe waving goodbye there and my kids jazz things which summed up how many different logos we had at the time. No, no, no. We’re not getting more professional. Okay, in seriousness, best thoughts to Red Panda, a staple of halftime shows fell on our unicycle yesterday at the Commissioners Cup in the WNBA. So huge. Like, oh my. All right. Um, so that so the Jazz have moved Colin Ston and the Jazz have moved waved Jordan Clarkson. And by the way, um, you know, there’s been much discussion about this and I think we should continue to have it and it’s an interesting question of whether or not the front office maybe missed a boat somewhere along the way where the game changed on them and they didn’t and there was something they could have gotten in these deals. I I I I kind of doubt it. Like I I really don’t think but I don’t know but I really don’t think there was the day where the Jazz would have bypassed a first round draft pick for Colin Section or Jordan Clarkson at any point in or even much of any deal in the last two years. It would just makes no sense, right? We weren’t playing to win and we weren’t playing to win a certain amount of games. And so I I have a hard time with this idea that there was something out there that the front office wanted more and got greedy and then got caught here. But the landscape has certainly changed and we’re seeing it across the board. Anthony Simons pretty darn good player, probably better player than Colin Ston in some ways in Portland gets Portland Drew Holiday, but that’s not like not a lot. Um Malik Monk can’t get moved out of Sacramento right now. Um we’re we’re kind of just seeing it all. Duncan Robinson is a pretty interesting player, not similar ilk, but he gets a first year deal. He got a three-year contract, but his first year is guaranteed. His second year is partially guaranteed. His third year is not guaranteed. So it’s just a huge landscape change which gets to John Collins. So he’s obviously the logical next one that the Jazz would move at this point and open up continue to open up into a youth. It’s clear we’re just going with an incredible youth move. Like the safety net is being pulled out from under these kids and they’re going to have to step up. And that’s we’ll get to the buzz around the Jazz here in a second. But is there even a trademark for John Combmes if you want to? So, I went through and let’s go with the premise. The first thing is it’s a team that has to be want to be good. Okay, so that eliminates Indiana and Boston. Now, um the second thing it does is it has to be a trade in which the Jazz don’t get hamstrung with contracts coming back and a deal in which the Jazz don’t get players that are going to block the route of other players. Right? If we’re going youth movement and we suddenly go acquire do a deal with Miami for Andrew Wiggins, it’s no different than having John Collins on the roster, right? Or do a deal with Miami to have Terry Roier. He’s Colin Ston. They can’t move him either. So, this is pretty tricky. The first thing is you got to find a team that wants to win and needs a front court help. And then the second thing is you’ve got to find a trade package that one does not prohibit or impede the youth movement that we’re seeing. Like the Jazz, as I just said, are pulling the safety net and letting these young guys go. And the second part of it is you’ve got to find so that it doesn’t tie up your books for the future. I mean, we’ll get into this more as the week goes on, but a little bit what you’re doing now is you’re letting the young kids play while having very clean books so when it’s time you can p go try to get some. So here and then I don’t know like are you trying to get of what you’re trying to get with John Collins. So here are some of the options. They’re they’re not sexy. The Lakers and this is not I don’t know. Let me be clear on this. This is literally going to sport track and looking at the playing the proposed trade game and figuring out whether ro whether contracts fit. Like I’m this is not like I know these conversations are going on or this is just literally playing the same game all of us can play. So the Lakers need front court help. They do have Rui Hashimura who’s very similar to John Collins. Um, but there is some talk of them moving Ru Hashimore for other pieces. This would be probably from the J for John Collins would be Gabe Vincent and Maxi Clebo. And then Gabe Vincent and Maxi Clebo would be on the Jazz roster kind of playing the role of Steve Mahil, Drew H, uh, Drew Eubanks and Patty Mills. And so if your goal is just to move John Collins for the pure sake of opening up minutes to Lowry Markin and Taylor Hendricks uh Ace Bailey then and Kyle Philpowski as a four then maybe Golden State’s good. They need some front court help. They just lost Kavon Looney. They’re probably losing Jonathan Kaminga in a deal. They can’t get to $27 million. They can’t. There’s no trade there. The 76ers could use some help in the front court. They’re pretty thin. They have Joel Embiid and they have Tyrese Maxi. They have VJ Edgum and they have Jared Mlan and they have Paul George and then they don’t really have a power forward on their roster. They can’t get to 27 million. You’ve got to get to 27 million with John Collins or somewhere in the ballpark. The Bulls are a little it here’s a wildcard play on the Bulls. Patrick Williams, the former number five pick in the draft, who’s really not come together. He’s paid $18 million a year. And if the Bulls wanted to get off of his contract, they could put something with the 18 million on their books and probably get to John Collins. 28 million. They would have to see the value of John Collins. They are probably always trying to win. John Collins feels kind of like a good like I say this a little tongue and cheek perfect player for Chicago but so they would go Patrick Williams and then you probably are taking Jaylen Smith maybe a Javon Carter. Um I’d have to look and see exactly what would whether the Javon Carter number gets you to enough. Um it does. Javon Carter would get Patrick Williams and Javon Carter would get you the $26.6 $6 million you need to have. That one’s a little interesting because Patrick Williams has three years left at 18 million and just has not come together. But he’s a young piece that might be worth trying to develop and if he doesn’t, you just suck it up. Detroit can’t get to 27 million. Indiana could need it, but what are they trying to do? It would cost them like Neb Hart and Obby Topham. like it. I just don’t think there’d be any interest. Phoenix is interesting because they’re trying to rehaul. But that’s Grayson Allen and Royce O’Neal. Grayson Allen has one more year left out. Royce O’Neal has two more years. Like what are we doing? Why would we like John Collins a great dude? I’d rather have like Grayson Allen just adds to the guard backward. he can shoot a little bit and it’s some security but and Royce O’Neal like maybe they’re individually pieces you could move later but we just seen those are very hard to move Sacramento’s Demar Rosen or Malik Monk Malik Monk is Colin Saxon we just moved it to clear the decks and let everyone go and Demar Rosen and then Miami we’ve talked about so if the Jazz are trying to just move John Collins to open up playing time for people and allow John Collins to have another place to go. I really come up with three scenarios. The Lakers for Gabe Vincent and Maxi Clea and I don’t think you’re getting back many picks. maybe the Bulls for Patrick Williams and probably Javon Carter just as contract filler and you’re basically giving them a viable John Collins for year and getting them off of Patrick Williams and and that’s kind of it. I’m sure Austin, if he pulls this off, will do it somewhere else and I’ll say, “Oh, yeah. I didn’t see that because I’m not as good as they are at this.” But I don’t see how Golden State can get to 27. I don’t see how the Sixers can get to 27. I don’t see how Detroit can get to 2. The only thoughts here could be that if Al Horford gets signs a deal that you get and Jonathan Kaminga moves or DeAndre Eaton some Well, he’s probably just going to be um but you that you somehow sneak into the backside of some three-way deal. So, I just think there’s very limited chance that that move actually is making. The question is whether the Jazz really feel like they have to move John Collins to clear the space. You can’t do it to your detriment. I would probably do both of those two deals. The Lakers, Gabe Vincent and Maxi Clea. It’s a hell of a deal for the Lakers. Just clears everything out for you. Patrick Williams and 18 million a year and just see maybe I I’d consider both those if I was the Jets. I don’t know if I’d do them. I would consider first one’s pretty bad like talent back but you’re not it’s not the purpose of the deal. The purpose of the deal is open up. There’s a fun buzz as I was around the Jazz yesterday going on about them. It’s been floating out there for a little bit. We’ll share it with you next on Locked on Jazz. There is a fun buzz around the jazz right now. And if you’ve been following the jazz social accounts by from the crew, uh Gabby and the crew do just amazing work. You might have noticed this for about six weeks now, maybe more. Every single one of these guys is in town. Ke’s been in town the entire time from my understandings. So, the group there’s a group of like seven or eight. I’m not I don’t have exactly but for our important purposes of this conversation the group Keonte Bryce of the second year of those that year players Philipowski Isaiah of those of that group um have been there um I’m forgetting somebody Taylor’s obviously rehabbing back so that’s another one um I believe Jaden Springer Elijah Harkas um and maybe one or two other guys have been here and there’s a this This is what the organization’s for. And this is where starting with Dennis Lindsay and Quinn Snyder and the Millers and then evolving into Ryan and Ashley Smith and this group have really the Jazz have built an incredible support staff. So, I know this sounds silly, but like it all starts with Anthony Zamoro is the chief executive chef and then he has people underneath him. Um, and they have built an environment that the players want to be around. like their kitchen and their dining area looks like a Ritz Carlton. It’s in beautiful, but it’s comfortable and it’s there and it’s controlled and it gives your players the practice facility is fabulous. Isaiah and Denzel and the crew on the strength and conditioning staff make it fun and make it efficient and have got these guys dialed in. And so what they’ve done with these guys is that over the last six weeks, they first went and hit a and you’re gonna see this on Saturday at the Huntsman Center. Get your tickets, come out, you can listen on the radio, you can watch it on Jazz Plus, you can see it on KJS TV. Um, but get out there to the Huntsman Center. Huntsman Center’s got doesn’t have multiple decks, so you’ll be able to see it. I was at practice yesterday. I saw it. They all look different. Cody looks different. His legs are still small, are still spiddly, but the upper body’s super different. Kyle looks different. Um, you know, we’ve all seen what happened with Taylor, what he did with Isaiah and the and the crew. Um, and so there’s been this incredible commitment from these young guys to the task, to the career, to the professionalism, to trying to be excellent. I don’t know what it’s going to mean for their, right? Like, they still have to get better, right? They all have to get way better to be able to be NBA players. I don’t think from anything we’ve seen on the floor yet from any of our young players other than Walker Kesler that we are certain that they are going to be an NBA rotation player. But the work has created a little buzz and maybe has I don’t know this for a fact but maybe has given the front office a little bit more confidence of like okay we can pull this safety net and we can let these guys go. I mean, the other side of this is that the front office probably probed the landscape to try to do something and it’s just not there, right? There just hasn’t been there hasn’t been that move that’s there for the Jazz that would bump them into, as we’ve talked about, the top 10 teams in the NBA, that’s if you’re going to bypass this one through eight protection and you’re going to move you you’re not doing to get to 15. You’re doing to get through 1 through 10. And as wild as the NBA is right now, I just don’t think the move was there to get through 1 through 10. So that coupled with this, but it’s creating a fun buzz. I think there’s been, if any of you are a parent of a 19 or 20-year-old, I think there’s at times where that’s a super frustrating thing, right? Like they there’s these signs of a n I’m going to speak for myself of like, “Wow, you’re amazing.” And then there’s signs of like, “Oh, wow, you’re a ningmpoot.” Um, I don’t even know what that word means. I hope it’s not bad. But like right like that’s what my dad used to call me when I was did silly things. Um the I you know and so I think there’s been some of that and I think what we’re seeing is the natural maturation out of this group. I was at practice yesterday and we were there for a long time afterwards doing Zoom calls with players and like the guy on the floor shooting afterwards for a long time was Keiante and the word is that Keonte has been in early been there all day with the young with the guys even though he’s the oldest one kind of leading the group and then shooting for a long time afterwards and coming back later in the evening and shooting like Keiante this is a and we’ll dig more into it like This is a year, this is a make orb breakak year in Keonte George’s career. This is the year where Keiante George just figures out whether he’s on the path to make a hundred million or he’s on the path to being a bottom level minimum player who bounces around to five different teams in the next eight years. It’s literally what that’s the Robert Frost two roads upon us for Keonte George. That’s those are the two. There’s not a lot of middle ground at this point. He either clicks in, gets more efficient offensively. And we’ll do some shows on like what that means and and and digs in or he doesn’t and he’s a civ defensively and he’s inefficient offensively and then he bounces then he starts the route, right? And it’s not an uncommon route. Like there we can go run through the draft boards of the last four or five years and look at how many players drafted post 10 by year three in the NBA are starting a journeyman career of bouncing to a new city every single year. So, the signs, the buzz that these guys are working and putting in the time and the effort, and you’re going to noticeably see it on Saturday when you watch the Jazz Summit. Cody’s noticeably different. I think he pro I’m going to guess ballpark. I Cody’s 20 pounds heavier than he was when he got to Utah last year, a year ago. So, Cody’s probably gained I would guess Cody’s gained 20 pounds in a year. Okay. Well, it’s he probably might need a whole another year of this, maybe two. Like, it’s a process. Flip who came as a solid big strong is a bigger stronger. Now the question is can flip move laterally. So the buzz is that these young guys as we’ve talked said twice on the show today already have the no maybe having no safety net behind them like oh dear god I don’t want to make an ass of myself every single night in the NBA. If I don’t work right now I’m going to get humiliated and maybe it’s time and that’s pretty exciting. So, it’s going to be fun to see, you know, right now we’re going to see like what what these guys have got as they get out in the summer league. You get to see them on the floor. Um, I will share just one other note. I don’t want to, you know, violate seeing too much of practice. Those are private. I will just say I wasn’t on the floor. I was up above and I walked in and I looked down on the floor and the first thing that caught my eye was Ace Bailey. Not that like he did anything. He was literally just standing still. his body, just length, height, looked differently than everybody else out there. Like the first thing I walked in and I looked down and the first thing I saw was Ace B. Like, oh, that’s an like that’s an NBA body. It’s incredible. 69, 71, 811 standing reach. That’s different. And it just was abundantly obvious the first second you walked in the gym. All right. What the heck did the Milwaukee Bucks do yesterday? What happens next with Dane Lillard and a bunch of news notes around the NBA and where we’re going? What did the Milwaukee Bucks do yesterday? The Milwaukee Bucks stretched Dane Lillard contract which had two years left for the tune of like 20 to 25 million a year for each of the next years. But that means that it’s just on the the that really means that the Milwaukee Bucks, this was the decision they made, are so desperate right now to keep Giannis happy that they are taking 22.5 million of dead money for each of the next five seasons in order to try to keep Giannis h happy right It means that the Bucks for the next five seasons are playing with 10% less of the salary cap than every other team in the league. Actually, if you really want it, it’s 14% 14% 12% 12% and 11%. They literally are playing with 12 to 13% less salary cap than the rest of the league for five years. I thought one of the quotes on ESPN was perfect. It basically said, “This is the kind of deal you talk yourself into and three years later you’re like, “Oh my god, what did we do?” I think it’s insane. I mean, the risk I got it. The risk right now is that you’re going to lose Giannis. Miles Turner ranks where in NBA centers. Like if we went to the Ringer top 100 NBA players list, we’re going to create a locked on top 100 list so I don’t have to go to the Ringer top 100 list. And we went to bigs. Where does Miles Turner rank? Miles Turner is probably like better or worse than Jared Allen. It’s not as good as Rudy Gobear. Better or worse than like I don’t know what you do. Like he’s better than Nicole Vuvich. I think he’s probably Yeah. Right. So he’s probably in the middle 60. He’s probably you know Chris Porzingis, Miles Turner. Okay, Chris’s better. One, two, three, four, five, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13. He’s an average NBA center and they’re now paying the equivalent of $50 million a year for him because Miles Turner signed for 24 plus they had to stretch Dane Lillard’s 22. That’s $47 million this next year and it goes up. I’m not sure that’s the move. If I’m honest, I’m like, “Yeah, that’s what I wanted. Where does Li, By the way, Aaron Goodwin, who I’ve known forever and had my battles with, who is Dane Willard’s agent out of Seattle, was Gary Payton’s agent, who I know Aaron, Aaron, Aaron and Eric very well. I admire their spin. The idea that Damen Lillard is elated is silly. He’s 35 coming off an Achilles. The thing he’s going to get to do is play for almost no money somewhere. And I don’t know where. It should be Portland. It seems to be that’s where Dame’s h happy. The report that Dame basically told Milwaukee he was going to rehab his Achilles on his own back in Portland was pretty telling. Um few other notes. Um so I don’t know where Lillard ends up. I’m sure he’s going to go Lillard’s going to go somewhere with a big name like an LA or something like that. And I’ll be honest, I don’t think it’s going to work. I’m not optimistic that a 35year-old who wants the ball all the time and shoots a ton who’s going to be 37 coming up in Achilles is gonna be a positive. He would be great to have around us so he can tutor our young players on how to be an absolute workaholic stud marquee NBA player. That would be great. I don’t have huge optimism otherwise. Um by the way, tip of the hat to Denver. Tim had to de interesting moves. Denver and Atlanta shake up their front offices and both of them have had incredible years. It’s almost as though you just need a new person to go look at it. There’s a great Intel company story about their great CEO who called an executive meeting with all their top people and basically said, “You’re all fired and tomorrow morning you’re all rehired and you need to look at this company as though you’ve never been here before and how do you view this and what would you do with us instead of being attached to our past moves?” And the um and the end result was that the everyone came back and said, “Well, I would dig into microprocessing.” And that’s what made Intel one of the great companies of all time. Um it’s a little bit like Atlanta and Denver. Let people go and let somebody come in who looked at it brand new, not attached to any of their past picks, not with any viewed everything as it was that day, and they both have just made really creative moves out of it. Um the DeAndre Eaton story is really interesting to me. He’s clearly heading toward the Lakers. And this is going to be one of those things where it’s going to be super fun to watch the Laker fans explain to us how great DeAndre Eaton is going to be after DeAndre Eaton’s been generally not very good in his same place for different places for like five years and not committed to the task and not being willing to drive through a snowstorm and all sorts of things. And the stories out of Portland right now are not good on his lack of commitment. And it’s going to be super fun to watch the Lakers do. They did this with Alex Len last year. It’s so fun to me that when the Lakers signed someone, they’ll obviously be great. Um, when the Lakers signed Al, we were in LA when the Lakers signed Alex Len, who’s been a Journeyman center who may or may not be in the league next year, he has not been good for a positively impactful for a long time and they were like, “Oh, this is a really big important science. Really good center.” And it was like, “Huh?” And then Alex Lund never played. Uh, keep an eye on Al Horford. feel like that’s the last big one that kind of matters a little bit who will really help a team get a good deal better uh before this is done. I think that’s going to be interesting. And then Jonathan Kaminga is another name and that there is a chance that maybe you could slide in on the backside of a Kaminga deal. There’s a little there’s a little Chicago talk there. There’s a little Pelicans talk there on Kaminga. Um, it’s worth keeping a little bit of an eye on on what happens with Jonathan Kaminga. And I have little to no idea how good I think Jonathan Kaminga is going to be. He is a straight line power player who I think was just physically stronger than every player he’s ever played till he got to the NBA. Still has not shot it well. Who if you listen to Kaminga in his camp feel as though they’ve been really really held back by the Warriors and Steve Kerr. And I’m and it is a different way to play. And so maybe there is something where he gets into a different system and he thrives. I’m not as sold on that fact. I think when you’re playing with Nicole Joic and Steph Curry in some of those players, those are the easiest moments you’re going to have in your life. And when you leave, you’re not going to be um it’s not going to be it’s not going to be pleasant. All right, that’s where we sit right now. Tomorrow we’ll look a little bit at Kesler’s extension, a little bit more about summer league. Then Friday, we’ll get you ready for summer league. 1. I still like the collins for Rozier and a pick. Rozier is a bad contract and if you can get a 1st or 3 seconds for taking on that contract and Collins you do that and have rozier go into the patty mills role

  2. I was thinking the same thing about Lillard coming to Utah he’d be great as a veteran tutoring, our youth

  3. Any deal for players that get you picks back even second rounders is good. Miami and Rozier maybe. Lakers you could get Knecht back. We could use a backup SF who is better than Brice. Chicago not interested in Williams

  4. The ba da da da da dumdum dum drum roll intro is iconic and Locke’s signature I hope it’s always part of the show

  5. Lots of podcasters whose teams are taking the conservative approach are badmouthing the Bucks decision and the player — shame on you…. Of course a center who can shoot jump shots is not your kind of center anyway…. You’ve always favored a center who stands under the basket both on offense and defense and never ever steps out of the paint except when required by the rules….

I will be watching the Bucks next season and not the forever tanking Jazz.

  6. Why was the deal so long at dames age?!? Thats whats crazy, the money for him was more then fair for the bucks but 8 years deal? WHAT!

  7. could do a sign and trade with golden state for kuminga and they get collins and a pick

  8. LAKER PERSON HERE,
KYLE FILIPOWSKI, CAN HE PLAY CENTER AS A STARTER?
WOULD HE BE AVAILABLE IN A TRADE, AND WHAT IS A FAIR ASKING PRICE?

  9. Yea duh duh jazz well always suck on trades we get short handed all the time all other teams are way better than us right now other teams don’t waste time jazz take too long .

  10. Pat Williams & Jevon Carter for Collins works. Carter just signed his player oprtion I believe and Willaims is 23 years old and fits the timeline.

  11. If we being honest to ourselves we know there is no trade value for John Collins. At least we got him for a washed Rudy Gay and a 2nd pick.

  12. You don’t do any deal to only help out the competition. He’ll be a good example on how to be a pro for the children we have on the roster. Put him in the rotation and let him move on where he wants next year.

  13. Not to beat a dead horse, but there is simply no convincing me, and I’m sure, thousands of other Jazz fans, that a return of Nurkic, for sexton AND a 2nd, was simply the best option available. Literally, every other FO in the nba would not only decline to trade Sexton for Nurkic straight up, but laugh at the suggestion of adding a 2nd. If that was the best offer, either don’t do it, or just buy him out, and save the money and the pick. Utterly ludicrous to do otherwise. And yet, here we are. So, again, I sincerely hope that there will be a reason for this awful trade that becomes more clear at a later date, bc right now, it’s a huge L. As for John Collins, the Rozier plus draft assets is a good place to start. But lord help me if they attach any picks to move him, for a Nurkic adjacent player, lmao šŸ¤£šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

  14. I think it’s time for the Jazz to shake up their front office. Time to move on from the ā€œbig game hunterā€.

  15. I have been hearing that intro for almost ten years, it's my favorite part of Locked On Jazz. I am glad it's never going away!

  16. What I can’t stand is the stay tuned or after this on locked on jazz, then a transition to a commercial break with no commercials?

  17. Do the Lakers deal if you can. Patrick Williams has not shown at all that he is an actual piece you want to commit to for the next few years. Kleber and Vincent are both on expiring contracts.

The point here is not letting a player like Collins, who's in a contract year win you some games you don't want to win. If the young players win you games, so be it. Collins is very likely not staying in Utah beyond this contract and we really can't let that top 8 draft pick convey to OKC. Even if we get like a single second rounder or nothing besides those 2 expiring contracts from the Lakers, you have to do it. I don't know if the Lakers would be all that interested. Collins doesn't solve their lack of a decent defensive C problem. Which is a huge problem considering guys are just going to blow by Luka and LeBron and get in the lane for easier buckets. But, I would still explore the possibility.

  18. The word antisemitism is being thrown on to people so recklessly who are speaking with common sense. It is starting to make not a bad thing to be.

  19. would of liked to see something like collins for vassell offer to san antonio. they have the opposite problem utah has and would be a good guard to pick up while sa get a solid switch forward in the rotation

  20. Sorry, not Collins related. I have a question. If Lillard wants to resign with the Bucks for the minimum, is that allowed? If so, and that happens, it's genius.
Also, I love your show, listen daily

  21. I dont think the jazz decision to go young is about any of the young guys besides maybe ace. Its more about tanking next year has very good prospects and some that would actually stay in Utah, Peterson, Boozer, Debantsa( mr. Utah) ace could be something but can we retain him in the future questionable. As one of the least desirable destinations for players we NEED to find a near mvp player through the dradt if we want to win ever. Sorry jazz fans we need to tank and I'm here for it.
