The Miami Heat are at a tipping point with their fan base
The fan base in Miami doesn’t want to keep going with a roster that they know is not good enough and the roster looks and feels stale. I will not believe that this is what will head into the playoffs next year.
Playoffs. They better not head into the regular season. Man, heads up playoffs. Do you want do you want anybody in the stands? Like I I think they’re at I think they’re at kind of a tipping point now when it comes to the fan base where there’s going to be a reaction a tangible reaction in the stands this year if the team looks like the looks like this again. I mean you think the building’s going to be packed on Wednesday night against Charlotte if they keep this roster. That’s why we were saying that they should get Kevin Durant because like he would be a draw even if he’s on a bad team and then you have him down the road or he’s part of the Heat family, he’s part of the Heat culture, he’s part of the history of this team knowing that they probably weren’t going to build a championship contender but at least you bring in this memorable person in NBA history to be part of your team for a

I thought they were talking about the Dolphins XD… both works here bc jfc.
This is a terrible take by them. There was no combination of roster moves Miami could have made this offseason to make them a contender, including trading for Durant. They’ve invested time and money into several young players they’ve drafted over the past couple years that they need to know if they can win with. This is the best course of action right now, playing the kids and seeing what they have. Heat fans seem to think you can be in the Finals every single season no matter the circumstances.
Heat just nailed the draft and these fools out here complaining. Ware and Jakucionis are the future but noone seems to realize that. Why tf bring in some old timer at a cost of both financial and player assets? We hold the better hand now no reason to rush stupid moves.
DUMBEST take in sports history. OKC looked and felt stale a couple of years ago. I'll take a few years of developing a young, fun team if it results in a CHIP!
