I mean, I can’t tell you how long I’ve been trying to get rid of Miles Turner. And that right there be the problem. That right there be the problem. They here born but they not listening. They never did. They never did listen. And I don’t even blame Miles Turner for going to the Bucks. You know Borne will never blame nobody for getting to that baggage claim. You can have Miles.” You know, you can have Miles, man. That’s the part that hurt. You know, that’s the part that hurt. The fact that the Bucks stole him. The Bucks on some petty [ __ ] It made too much sense to let him go. You give him the contract he wants. Now you got to cut costs. Who you going to move? You going to move Obie? You give Miles Turner that money. Now you got to cut cost. Who you trading? Ben Matan. I mean, this is the stuff you would have had to do if you would have paid Miles Turner. It makes sense to just let him go. Now, if Hallebertton was there, now we can talk. But without Hallebertton, I mean, it was a done deal. And it was really started because over the last 24 hours, Miles Turner wanted to be back in Indiana, the longest tenure pacer. But he felt that they had just been giving him offers that were below market value as the Pacers wanted to avert from paying the luxury tax. And there were several offers that he just did not feel comfortable with. And so John Horse, the Bucks general manager, worked very closely with his agent, Austin Brown, to find a deal. So this is the third time in Yansut Koopo’s career where we feel hey things might be shaky and John Horse makes a big move.
If this was Seakum we can move the roster around to try to keep him but Miles Turner come on now you can find another center. Who going to start center for the Pacers? You know that’s what everybody’s asking. Who’s going to start center for the Pacers? Well, I’m here to tell you this is a rumor I like to hear. I like this rumor. You know, you talking about getting this team ready, you know, for when Hallebertton return. This is it right here. This is the type of center we need right here.
He doesn’t make 25 million a year, 30 million a year, nothing crazy like that,
dude. Not a allstar. He just a modernday center that gets the job done. Nothing more, nothing less. They don’t need nothing else special from that position. Telling you. Because at the end of the day, the Pacers want to play small. So why invest damn near 30 million a year in that position? You can go get a guy like a Nick Richards that makes 5 million and will get the job done. So since you playing small, you want a center that can play small with you. You feel me? You want a center that can do the same thing. Whatever your strength is, you want your center strength to be the same thing. So you play small, you still got a guy out there that can rebound. You’re not reboundless out there. And if you want to go full small, you still got the option to do that with Obie and Seakum in the front court because like I said, this is a guy who’s only making $5 million. He’s not making almost $30 million where you’re like, what the hell he just sitting on the bench for? 20 to 25 minutes, that’s all. We only need him for about 20 to 25 minutes. That’s it. That’s it. We don’t need him for 30 plus minutes. We don’t need him to do a lot. But as far as Nick Richards, this guy would be perfect. Finding the center we need is not hard. Come on now. That’s not a hard problem to solve. I mean, it don’t hurt the call. I mean, the sinners is out there. It don’t hurt the call. It don’t hurt to pick up the phone and just check their temperature. Just check their temperature. That’s all you got to do. Just check these guys temperature. DeAndre Aton. All I’mma say is DeAndre Aan agent. O the paces a favor. You know, let’s not forget that max contract that DeAndre Aan been eating off. The Pacers gave that to him when nobody else was and your ass was fitting to get fired. So if it comes down between the Pacers or the Lakers for DeAndre Aton, Aton’s agent needs to step in and say, “Look, you owe this to the Pacers to choose them.” And that’s some real [ __ ] I don’t care what nobody say. That’s real [ __ ] And that’s business. I mean, the Sinners is out there. You just got to go get them. You know, I understand there’s some issues with Aiden. I understand that sometimes he’s not all the way there, but when DeAndre Aton is there, come on now. He eats on that floor and that’s all the Pacers need is just a center that can average a double double or at least close to it. That’s all. They not hard to find. They not hard to find.
