Utah Jazz Summer League Preview – Roster Reactions And Players To Watch!
Utah Jazz, Salt Lake City, Summer League roster. I’m going to run through a bunch of names. We’ll give our general reactions to this, maybe uh build our best lineups and play some games along the way. Cart, this one’s fun. Let me warn you. If all these guys play, this might be your favorite summer league roster of all time. Max Acemus, Ace Bailey, Walter Clayton, Isaiah Collier, Steven Cra, Kyle Filipowski, Jaylen Gayy, Dane Goodwin, Elijah Harkas, RJ Lewis, Cam McGriff, Selton Miguel, Crab Five, Stand Up, Jawan Roberts, Adama Soogo, Bryce Sensib, Jaden Springer, John Tani, Cody Williams, Jay-Z Zahare, That meant something to you, didn’t it? It did, dude. Because, you know, we do like a lot of these videos and there’s just so like and there’s just those certain rosters that just like this [ __ ] means something to me, man. This [ __ ] really does me like this top to bottom means something to me. And this is not a bit. We even got a Jaden Springer thrown in there just just to make me feel something even more. that’s the original Cardelli guy. We’re at nine right now. Jaden Springer’s 10. And then John Tani. Does that count or no? John Tani counts. Cody Williams counts. Also, don’t skip it. I was singing the praise of the crab five. My guy. So, 13 of the 15 names on this roster are quote unquote unequivocally your guys.

It’s a record for a summer league roster. Truly, I think uh look, jokes aside, seriously, I don’t know what Utah’s trying to do. if they’re trying to like win summer league and I don’t know just restore a winning culture somewhere or what. But there are a lot of like really highlevel college players that will play in the NBA or are playing in the NBA on this roster. If it’s the Salt Lake City league, I think they have a really good chance to win it uh based on what they’ve put together, which is exciting for Jazz fans at the bare minimum here. I wouldn’t want to, honestly, who’s a summer league coach for them because he’s in a he’s in a he’s in a proposition that I wouldn’t wish upon any man.

Scott Morrison’s got the one of the best coaching jobs in the summer league, but he’s got a quite the task on his hand because I don’t know where you go with this. I mean, I think a lot of these guys will opt out. like the the actual Jazz players, Isaiah Kier, uh I think Bryce Sense, Jaden Springer probably won’t play very long would be my guess, but you never know.
Yeah. Also, I I if you play the game like who’s the guy on here, right? Um there’s a name on here that I actually recognize that I know you were going to say and I have no clue how this guy’s on the summer league roster. Uh but you see Jay-Z Zaher on there.
Yeah, I’m clueless.
Play at Eastern
Eastern Michigan. I use play loosely. Uh he played two games. He was a he was a walk-on for Eastern. Then I’m pretty sure he walked on at Bowling Green the year after that.
Yeah, he’s listed at Bowling Green.
He’s from the state of Michigan.
Wow. Okay. I mean I I thought and I want and I want to say that he’s related to Tom Gore in some way. Like maybe Tom Gore’s son.
Uh it it’s my dream roster cuz they have all these fun names and at the end they just threw a hilarious name. I have no idea who it is at the end which is a big part of what I like about summer league too. But that’s the only guy I don’t know here, which is honestly impressive from the Jazz. I want to come away with a lineup. What’s our lineup here?

He I’m I like Isaiah Collier a lot, but I’m hoping that I want to see the shot making of Ace and Clayton together in the back court.
Give me Ace Miss Clayton. Ace Bailey and then I’ll go I mean man Tani in with them would be fun. I’m gonna go Sensible and Jawan Roberts. All right, we’re going in different directions then because I would go if Kier plays I’d go Kier, Clayton, Tani, Ace Bailey, Philip Powski at the five. I guess Flip, you got to put him in there.
Yeah. Um, that team’s so fun. By the way, this team is 100% going to get in an altercation with each other over not passing enough. John Tani is the oldest player on this team. John Tanji might have the highest assist rate on this team. It’s crazy.
