But this trade would see the New York Knicks receiving Giannis Antmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks receiving Male Bridges, Josh Hart, Miles McBride, Mitchell Robinson, a 2026 first round pick from the Wizards, a 2026 second round pick, a 2031 second round pick, and a 2026 first round pick swap that is top four protected. So, in my personal opinion, I don’t think that Giannis will ask for a trade this off season, but at some point throughout the 202526 campaign, uh, sort of depending on how the Bucks are getting off to in regards to their start, I can see Giannis becoming unhappy and finally demanding a trade. And then if and if that’s the case, the Knicks of course would be all over this. So, I think for a lot of teams out there, the Knicks included, Giannis is their sort of missing piece, so to speak. Uh, the kind of player that can push them over the top to win a championship. And if Giannis is in fact made available, I fully expect this next front office and owner James Dolan to do basically everything they can. No player would be untouchable besides probably Jaylen Brunson in a Giannis into the Kmpo trade. Now in this scenario, having a big four of um Carl Anthony Towns, OGmpo, and Jaylen Brunson plus Josh Hardock or plus some other players on this roster. This group’s pretty deep and they could very well be the best team in the Eastern Conference next year given how wide open it is. And this would be a pretty awesome trade. Now, from the Bucks perspective, they’re kind of getting a nice blend of all different things here. Uh they’re getting back a good three and D player, a really good two-way basketball player, a good star player in Male Bridges. His last year in New York wasn’t super great, so perhaps be a change of scenery for him. Going to Milwaukee could be a better fit. Josh Hart, Miles McBride, and Mitchell Robinson, good players to kind of round up the rotation as well as the starting lineup for them. So, they’re getting back four legitimate players that can contribute, you know, right away for them. That 2026 Wizards first round pick could be sneaky good. Uh, plus some future draft capital. So, for the Bucks, this would indicate a full-blown rebuild. Now, given the fact that they did, you know, stretch out Damen Lower’s contract on that buyout. They just gave Miles Turner a big-time contract. They don’t want to do this, but if Giannis asks for a trade and kind of forces their hand, you might have to take this approach in regards to a half retool uh with players like Bridges Hart, etc., as well as a rebuild in the future with that draft capital down the road. So, if I had to pick a winner for this deal, I’m still going to go with the New York Knicks because they are getting back Giannis, one of the best three players in the NBA. But, if you’re a Bucks fan, not a bad return. Leave your thoughts.
