Damen Lillard at this point in his career doesn’t rely on much athleticism to get off his shot. When he was younger in Portland and he’s the number one option on consistent playoff teams that were winning series, yeah, his athleticism was big because he would drive to the paint, finish amongst a crowd, and even finish on top of you with a slam dunk as well. He’s obviously not going to do that now. He’s obviously not going to do that coming off of an Achilles injury. But it’s not like he will fall off a cliff and just be an unproductive player like a John Wall after foot and Achilles injury. A player like Dame who is extremely skilled and a sniper, those players will still work down the stretch. Now, he will will he be good defensively? Not so much. And you could question his fit with Tyler, but at that point, like, if you’re only paying him5 to$10 million per season, what’s the what’s the harm? You’re not paying him 50 mil a year to be a bad backcourt partner with Tyler. you’re paying them 5 to 10, maybe even 15 million per season. So that’s why I am more in on the matter.

I got say NO mainly because this year about seeing if Herro can truly be a 1A now im a believer in Herro but not as a 1A guy or star n Bam similar but we gotta see what Herro can truly do with a whole season.

I'm done w/relying on beat up veterans over the age of 35 (He will be 35 by time he recovers). Very few give you what you want. I'd still take Dame,but historically guys in these situations are not worthy of a starting position. You can count the exceptions on one hand that go through this injury at this age and still deserve to be a starter.
Im down for taking Dame. I understand that we're going young but Dame can help with mentoring Kaspar and possibly Herro. Also fuck Cronin
