The NBA’s Next NIGHTMARE IS Here!
The NBA’s next biggest nightmare has arrived. It’s the Houston Rockets after this off seasonason because I don’t think they’re done yet and they’re already insane. After making it as the two seed last year, Houston Rockets completely reloaded and now they look to be even scarier than they were a year prior, which is insane. Again, they were the two seed and now they’re a much better team than they were. This offseason, they traded for Kevin Durant, which cost them Jaylen Green and Dylan Brooks. But Kevin Durant an upgrade over Jaylen Green. And then for Dylan Brooks, I mean, they signed Dorian Finny Smith, who’s better shooter, better defender, and just a better all-around player. They improved in that regard. Then you got Clint Capella. I mean, we’ll talk about that in a second. They extended Jabari Smith Jr. and they resigned Fed Vanley and Steven Adams. They basically brought back everybody but Jaylen Green and Dylan Brooks and they got infinitely better at what they needed to get better at. Now, they still have the limitation of shooting right now because I only see two shooters on their team that are consistent. Fred Van Vleet and Jabari Smith Jr. are going to be very crucial in that. Do believe Jabari Smith Jr. does have the potential to be a great shooter in the league. But we got to get him to lock in because right now he’s not that shooter. Um Fred Vanley very inconsistent, but I mean there’s going to be less pressure on him since they have a true number one option now. But one thing we’re failing to mention, Al Princeon, he’s still elite. He was an all-star for a reason. He was an all-star, right? 98% sure he was. If not, he just missed the All-Star game for a reason. Alfred Sangun is elite. He’s going to be playing elite basketball next to Kevin Durant. I think the game’s going to be played through Sangon for the majority of the games and then closing time, it’s Kevin Durant time. It’s a perfect way to game plan for your offense. And now you got guys like Dorian Anthony Smith that can shoot. Clint Capella is a lob threat. Um, realistically, I do think Alprince Sangon, after seeing how the double big lineup works so well in the playoffs, I do think the reason they signed Clint Capella and brought back Steven Adams is because they want to play Senon at the four a lot. And Clint Capella is a better option than Steven Adams to play at the five, at least at a starting standpoint. He’s a good shot blocker, good rebounder, good lob threat, everything you want. My biggest question though is what is the starting lineup going to look like? Since you can look at a double big with Senon and Capella, you can look at Jabari Smith Jr. and Men Thompson, Kevin Durant, Sangun, and Van Vleet. There’s so many options. Luckily, the Houston Rockets have Eay Udoka as their coach, one of the best coaches in the NBA. So, it’s not going to be too big of an issue, but it’s more of a question that I’m curious about since you have all these lineups you can throw out. You have every lineup, but a floor spacing lineup. Basically, your floor spacing lineup would probably be Fred Van Vleet, Dorian Finny Smith, Kevin Durant, Jabari Smith Jr., and Al Prince and Goon. That’s your floor spacing lineup. But there’s so many multitudes of lineups that they can throw out and put together that it really just shows off how versatile this Rockets team is and how well coached they are. There’s not going to be a matchup that they don’t like since they can adjust for it. The only way you can stop them is shooting. That’s it right now. They’re going to have one of the biggest lineups top to bottom in the league. It’s going to be ridiculous. They’re going to be switchable at every position basically. Um it’s I don’t have any words. Um, maybe they start Dorian Finny Smith. That would be smart. Um, who knows? I really don’t know what the starting lineup’s going to be. All I know is Fred Van Vleet, Kevin Durant, Al Princeon, and probably a Men Thompson start. It’s the fifth starter we’re looking at. I think Dorian Smith, he might be better suited for the bench role. Clint Capella, he could play as a starter. Jabari Smith Jr. was a starter before he got hurt last year. And I do think, listen, I’m gonna talk about Jabari Smith Jr. real quick. Jabari Smith Jr. is going to be a big factor for this team. I don’t think we’re giving him enough credit. Last year he got hurt. The only reason it was a big deal, his performance from last year was because the team was actually good. When he was playing great basketball for a team that sucked, nobody was paying attention to him. If he didn’t get hurt this year, he would have still been a starter over Men Thompson. He would still been a key piece to this two-seated team. But he got hurt. Ben Thompson took that spot and now he came off the bench with a lesser role. It’s all right. He will be back this year. He is honestly going to be the third best shooter. And if he can shoot the ball at the clip, we know he can. This changes everything for the Rockets. The Rockets will be a great team if Jabari Smith Jr. plays basketball, how he can play basketball. He’s a great two-way player, great 3 and D player. We just got to see him embrace that and actually knock down shots consistently. If he does that, there is no issue with the Rockets starting him, Kevin Durant, Amen Thompson, Alcrron Sanangon, and Fred Vanble. That would be a prolific starting five. But right now, again, I see the limitation for this team as shooting. And I think Jabari Smith Jr. is the key factor in fixing that. Regardless of if Jabari Smith Jr. shows up or not, they do need a shooting guard that can shoot the basketball. I will say that right now. Maybe they trade for one. You got Cam Whitmore there at your disposal. You’re probably not going to play him. Reed Shepard’s a good option off the bench. Uh there’s a lot that can be done. Regardless of that though, if they find shooting to come off the bench, it quite literally is over for the NBA. I don’t see how you stop the Rockets if they can shoot the basketball since Kevin Durant. He might be older, but he’s still a elite number one option on a championship team. Maybe. Maybe he hasn’t won a title in a while. Um that’s the one thing. As a Suns fan, I think he played back and let Devin Booker and Bradley Beal do their thing, but Bradley Beal didn’t do And then Devin Booker was in and out of the lineup hurt. Kevin Durant when he was taking over basketball games and like, yeah, I’m the guy. He was amazing in Phoenix. So, I do have optimism of him being a one option on championship team. Then you got Sangun. Sangun’s going to be the two option. Sangun is elite. Um, Amen Thompson, he still has untapped potential. Uh, I think Amen Thompson can score 28 and five, like 20 points, eight rebounds, and five assists tonight. No problem. I think he might finish with those stats if he develops the right way. Smith Jr. as a knockdown shooter would be massive. Dorian Finny Smith is a 40% three-point shooter. Fred Van Vleet’s consistency is going to matter a lot. The Rockets just have so many options, though. They have a 100 different lineups they can play. They can beat you with size. that can beat you with switchability, can beat you with defense, I can beat you with offense. They’re going to be prolific and amazing on the offensive glass. They’re going to be the best rebounding team in the NBA simply because of their size and athleticism. This team is scary. I think everybody in the NBA is afraid of the Houston Rockets now. And I will say it for the last time in this video, if they figure out how to shoot the basketball, the NBA is cooked. OKC is the only team that can stop them heading into next year. Maybe Denver, too. But if Houston can shoot the ball, it’s a wrap because Zenon will be able to take over in the paint. Amen. Then Thompson will get downhill with floor spacing. Kevin Durant will have perfect spacing and be that go-to guy and be in a comfortable role for himself. It opens up more minutes for Clint Capella, Tari Een, and Steven Adams to just go out there and be physical forces. It opens up everything for the Rockets and it’s so scary to think about and the fact that they’re so well coached as they are with Eay Udoka, it really is a no-brainer to have Houston pencled in as one of the top teams in the West already now. They’re young, could have a setback, but I really doubt it. Houston is legit, and this off season indicated that they’re going to be around for a while. We already knew that after they became the two seed with as young as they were, but now it’s wraps. Um, OKC, Houston, hopefully that’s our conference finals next year. Denver is a scary team though and also Dallas. Either way, Houston’s going to be around for a while. If you want to see any more content on my channel, I do have my draft grades and everything up there on the screen. And we will be coming out with my offseason grades so far for every NBA team. Spoiler alert, the Houston Rockets have had an A+ off season. So yeah, make sure you like and subscribe and stay tuned for that video. Y’all stay safe. Have a good one.
The Houston Rockets have completely reloaded and retooled this offseason and one thing is confirmed, this team is as dangerous as ever. What makes them so good after this offseason? What makes them vulnerable still? Let’s talk about it!

Also the KD trade is reportedly gonna involve 7 teams. Its gonna be crazy if it happens. Rockets could even get more weapons in that 7 team trade
