Atlanta Hawks Sign Luke Kennard My Thoughts!!
yo what’s going on guys this is Houston Sports Talk back into the video today the Atlanta Hawks have signed Luke Canard to a one-year 11 million deal the Atlanta Hawks are really going all for it some of the additions they’ve made this off season luke Canard Nquila Alexander Walker Christos Borzingis Assa Newell getting the first round pick that the Pelicans have next year is a really good addition for them as well which is next for for you know next season you could look at it that way it’s for next season cuz you’re betting on the Pelicans to be really bad next season um and so I really like what they’ve done building this team around Trey Young it’s something he really wanted he reached out to Canard and Alexander Walker himself they got the poor Ziggings done you know deal done about a week ago a little bit over a week ago and so uh I I really love what they’re doing or less than a week ago i really love what they’re doing um and look I think there were some really solid shooters on this Hawks team before these these additions that they had on their roster around Trey Young like Trey Young is such a good facilitator he had good shooters around him but you’ve added in even better shooters like you’ve added Lucinard who’s 44% in his career lu then you add in Niki Alexander Walker’s over 38% in his last three seasons 39% this year um you know and a good defender you add in Porzigis who’s a great three-point shooter at his height being seven a sevenfooter and then you look at all the other good three-point shooters around Trey Young before this edition dyson Daniels uh Zachary Reese Shay is not that terrible of a three-point shooter he turned into a more talented three-point shooter as the season went on um you know Yaka Kangu didn’t even shoot that bad from three this past season there there is there is tal Jaylen Johnson there is talent on this Hawks team and honestly uh they could be a sneaky team to win the East and I’m not saying go to NBA Finals i’m talk we’ll see how this team would could do in the playoffs but I’m I’m saying with the Celtics being down uh I think they’re a team that very well could be one of the top seeds in the Eastern Conference i I look at them right now and say they can be a top four seed in the Eastern Conference i look at them with the additions they have made with Canard and Porzingis and and Assaen Newell and and Alexander Walker and and then you add into those guys with everybody they had before that and I think I put them at the level of the New York Knicks and the Cleveland Cavaliers um I I definitely put them over the Boston Celtics uh Indiana Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks with their with all the players they’ve lost um Celtics lost another player today in Lucette Quinnette so I really like the way the the way the way things are looking for the Atlanta Hawks let me know your thoughts in the comment section and peace out
