BREAKING NEWS: LAKERS SIGN DEANDRE AYTON
They call me Dan the Lakers and I got a master plan for the Lakers back to the promised land. Spread the vision through my people cuz we fans are equals. When we reach 20K subs, yeah, we going to drop a sequel. Another Laker anthem track. Watch me run it back. Got the keys to the city. Where my L. [Applause] What up, Laker Nation? It’s your boy DTLF back with another video. Guys, guys, guys, guys, I’m super thrilled to announce breaking news. Okay, per Mark Stein, Mark Stein, first to report it, first on the scene. All right, multiple interested teams expect DeAndre Aiden to commit to the Lakers after he clears waiverss today at 5:00 p. p.m. Eastern time, which is about in five minutes exactly, four minutes to be exact. So, that is what we’ve been waiting to hear, y’all. That is what we have been waiting to hear and I’m extremely excited because this is what we wanted. This is what I told you guys. It was a 90% chance according to my source for it to happen. Looks like it’s about to be official right here on the live stream. So very excited to bring that to you guys. And uh this is what it’s all about. The Lakers land their guy DeAndre Aton. Okay. A potential double double. An absolute freaking beast. Somebody who’s going to come in here and hopefully be revamped. be have that energy to reinvigorate his career. All right. Now, I’ll tell you, I trust my source. My I never really doubted that we could get Aton, but again, it was never 100% until it was 100%. Even now, even right now, it’s at 99.5% complete. All right, once we get the the official, I will give it to you guys here on live stream. But yes, it is good news. Mark Stein, very credible source reporting that DeAndre Aiden is going to sign with the Lakers. And that’s what everybody expects. So, I guess the interest for him is starting to back off. And now I think we’re about to see the rest of the domino pieces start to fall, man. But that is really, really exciting. Uh the Lakers again proving that we are the Lakers. And this is the number one place for people to sign. This is we got Luca, right? We got Luca. We have everybody, man. Everybody who’s supposed to be able to recruit. We still have LeBron as of right now. And I found it interesting because the Lakers media group barely started releasing some summer leak um you know video clips. I think they knew the news was coming. Otherwise, they would have got a lot of backlash from fans talking about do something, do something. You know how we are, right? So, very very excited. Um and so glad that it’s finally happening. Thoughts? Well, I’ll tell you, man. Uh there’s a sigh of relief because we all wanted to make sure we show up that front court. We got a 26-year-old player who was the number one overall pick for a reason. And I think with the Lakers, he’s going to show why he was the number one overall pick. Now, he might never live up to the hype that the way he played in Arizona was tremendous, right? Uh I I think there was no doubt that he was worth the number one pick at the time when it happened, but of course, Luca, Trey Young, all those guys that ended up having better careers than him so far. Um he’s got a huge chip on his shoulder, you know. Yeah. Welcome to the Lakers family. That’s right, Joe. We here, baby. We here, David. Appreciate you, KD. Thank you for rejoining the membership plan, brother. Appreciate you as well, my guy. And of course, David, man. Gifting five free memberships. You’re the goat, David. Appreciate you, fam. Um, listen man. We here. This is what it’s all about. This is what it’s all about, man. And and again, my trust in my source never wavered. I knew we had the best opportunity. And I will be refreshing here until we make it official, but it’s basically unofficially official. My boy said Dan broke it first. my boy two for two. Hey, listen, man. You guys know I never clickbait you guys. Everything I report is straight from the source, man. And or or I will tell you if it is something that I’m feeling myself, right? This was this was perfect because I do have the intel on it. And like I said, there was mutual interest from the beginning. And uh I’m just glad that we’re able to, you know, make that a reality because DeAndre Aton again uh you know, shout out to the Bahamas. All right. Shout out to the Bahamas. I knew he was smart. I knew he wouldn’t choose the Pacers over us, y’all. Indiana. Come on now. Come on now. Um, but yeah, I mean, this is huge for us because we were desperate. Now we’re not as desperate. All of a sudden, we are much better off. I forgot to renew my membership. You’re good, man. Hey, any sort of form of support and love is welcome, guys. Welcome. Uh, sheesh, not trade LeBron and Luca can have his squad. I don’t think that’ll happen, Rich Dog TV, unless he requests a trade. We talked about it a little earlier in the morning. um if if LeBron isn’t happy with the moves and he may request a trade at some point this year, but that’s never happened in the history of superstars of the magnitude of LeBron. So, this would be making history. But I don’t put anything past LeBron. If if he really feels that way, then he’s welcome to request one. But otherwise, I hope to have him back here and ready for training camp, baby. Looks like LeBron hat was u a message to Aton welcoming welcoming him to LA. All the conspiracies, you love it. You love it. And that’s actually a smart conspiracy right there, my friend. Uh, finally. Doesn’t it feel good, guys? Does it Doesn’t it not feel good? We’re just waiting for the breaking news here, but obviously Mark Stein reporting. He’s very credible and uh, you know, it’s nice to see that teams are backing off because they’re getting word that DeAndre is going to be a Laker. Uh, and he has officially cleared waiverss as of 2:1 p.m. Pacific time. So, anytime now, we will get that breaking news. I’m waiting for my alerts to go off and uh do have a minor update here. Lakers second round pick Dro left knee won’t participate in this team summer league games per team. He is in the final stages of his return to play uh process from a knee alignment he dealt with in our Kansas. He’s expected to be fully cleared by training camp. That’s unfortunate. That’s unfortunate news. We do not want to hear that. We wanted to see our guy Aro uh you know do work in summer league and it looks like we’re gonna have to wait till training camp now. The Lakers play in a few days by the way. I’m excited for Bronny. I’m excited for Dalton and all the two-way contracts and everybody we got. Unfortunately, we got to temper our excitement for uh you know theor because again as I just reported he’s going to be out till training camp. So that’s unfortunate. But I am very excited. I’m more excited for this signing right now though. Finally. It feels like forever since we had a big man. But boy does it feel good. It feels amazing to know we finally got DeAndre Aton and you know he’s going to be eating alongside uh Luca. You know Luca, LeBron James are definitely going to feed this man assuming LeBron is here. Um you know they’re going to be feeding this young man plenty of basket opportunities and he’s got going to have more room to operate in the block one v one. He’s a nice mid-range shooter. Uh he’s somebody who can spot up and uh and shoot threes. We’d want him closer to the basket though. He can play pick and roll. He can he can play uh pick and pop. Um you know, there’s a lot he can do. And I’m telling you guys, this is probably the best big man we could have got. Not probably, it is the best big man we could have got without giving up any assets. Now, we retain all of our young pieces moving forward. We retain flexibility. We retain uh the draft picks for now till we trade them or not. We’ll see. Uh Michael, appreciate you, man. Negotiations chair. He said, “A lot of haters are scrambling for excuses. F the haters and god Lakers. Hey, listen man. Uh I think you meant go Lakers. That’s right. F the haters and go Lakers, man. I’mma say it for you. [ __ ] the haters and go Lakers, man. Anybody who’s here and isn’t supporting the Lakers is just a hater at this point. They’re just curious to see how we bask in the glory. And that’s fine. You know, they’re on the outside looking in. But come on in, guys. It’s nice out here. It’s always sunny in California. All right. Make sure you guys tap in for sure. Um this is great, man. And I’ll tell you, DeAndre Aiden, seven foot, a legitimate sevenfooter, all right, who has a he he he’s been in the league for seven years now, so he’s considered a veteran. Obviously, he just played for the Portland Trailblazers. Um throughout his career, this is his full regular season average, 16.4 points per game, 10.5 rebounds across 398 regular season games. All right, excuse me. Excuse me. Um notably, notably, he averaged 15.8 eight points and 11.8 rebounds during the Suns 2021 finals run. All right, his tenure in Portland was horrible. But can we blame him, chat? Can we blame this man? It is Portland after all. It’s Portland, Oregon. All right, if you don’t have a contender there, there’s very few to minimal to no excitement for playing for that team right there. But you guys heard it here first, right? Sounds like DeAndre Aton has committed to the Lakers according per Mark Stein. teams are backing up, backing off. I guess they’re just working out the kinks. Anytime now you’ll get that notification, man. Um, and again, very, very excited to see what’s going to happen here. Ronnie James, uh, looks like he’s available for Summer League, so that’s exciting, but not more exciting than what’s happening right now. Michael, thank you so much again for super chat, bro. Thank you, bro. Appreciate that. Yeah, smack that like button, man. And if you guys are excited for my boy DeAndre Aton, aka Dominating, we’re going to come up with so much uh you know um nicknames for this guy if he earns him though. Of course, now we need to address the backup center position, maybe even a backup guard. There’s still plenty of names out there. Could we land the holy grail and get Al Horford? The last report was that the Lakers were still interested in Al Horford, right? What is Horford interested in though? Does he want more money? Does he want more playing time? That’s going to matter. that is going to matter. But yes, Mark Stein first to report. DeAndre Aiden headed to the Lakers. What what nicknames you guys have for DeAndre Aton, man. I want to know. Appreciate you, Kimmy Goat. You’re the best. Thank you for holding it down. Hey, none of this possible without my sponsorships, without you guys, and without Kimmy Goat. So, again, thank you so much, Kimmy Goat. You’re the best. You are the best. The news is that DeAndre Aiden has committed to your Los Angeles Lakers. Okay, at least that’s what March Stein is reporting. That is the breaking news. the Lakers have landed their starting center. Now we go and we address the rest of it. Right now we worry about the rest. Obviously the rumor early was it was uh Indiana or LA. I mean that was a no-brainer. Nobrainer if you ask me. That had to be done right there. Um but the fact that we finally got our guy man it is you know the best. And everybody’s asking uh Shams Cherania where is he at on the report. Look Markstein I trust him enough for me to you know stake my reputation on here. You guys know I report nothing false. Aton will be a Laker. Okay, unless Mark Steam got hacked or something, but we should hear the news here. Eighton has officially cleared waivers. So, we’re going to hear it really, really soon here. The big bohemian about Bohemian Rap City, man. This guy, man. Shout out to the Bahamas again. I believe this is exactly what he needed for his career to get back on track. We’re talking about the first overall pick that never really lived up to the hype if we’re being honest. He had some good glimpses, but it it never really came together for DeAndre. But let’s look at his tools at his disposal. Legitimate sevenfooter with solid footwork, back to the basket game, face up game, soft touch around the rim, uh strong above the rim finishing abilities, uh pick and roll, pick and pop. What is he lacking outside of a motor? Well, guess what, man? If you can’t get that motor up and running in Los Angeles, you can’t get that motor up and running anywhere. The lime lights are here, man. We are here. Let’s see. Uh, uh, Retro because he looks like a player from the 80s. Oh, I kind of low-key like that. I lowkey kind of like that, man. If we can sign Al Horford, guys, we made it. I’ll tell you that right now. If we can sign him, this A+ off seasonason regardless of whoever who else we get. Uh, my guy said, “Laker fans are so annoying. Yesterday, people wanted Aiden. Now that he’s signed, some folks are calling him a scrup.” Those aren’t Laker fans. I I don’t want you to confuse Laker fans with player fans. Most player fans are not going to be satisfied with any signing outside of signing, you know, a Super Saiyan or something. They’re not going to be satisfied because they always think their player, their favorite player, deserves more, right? Real Lakers fans are excited for the prospect of DeAndre Aton. 26 years of age, he’s got experience. He’s got playoff experience. Most importantly, he’s been in the trenches. And we real Lakers fans are excited for the prospect of DeAndre Aton. Now, I’ll be honest with you, we’re very passionate. And if he comes in here and he lays an egg and he lays a duck just like Russell Westbrook did, well, guess what? That excitement will go away real quick. But for now, yeah, that is really awesome. Let’s see. Uh, Michael said, “I just go through searching YouTube and I can’t find the haters talking about this. Why the quietness?” Why the quiet? I’ll tell you why. Because they’re scared. They know that Luca now has a center. They know that LeBron James now has a center. They know that we still have cap flexibility in trade pieces. They know that we can go and use the mini mid-level exception and get a solid veteran free agent. Maybe a Chris Paul, maybe Damen Litter joins. Who knows? This is just the beginning. Just the beginning. And we’re going to be okay, guys, because last year, one of the main gaping holes that the Lakers had was the center position. And even then, we managed to finish off with 50 wins. Okay, so again, exciting time. If you’re a Laker fan, this is what you want to hear. Again, the report is, and I have it here. If you guys don’t believe me, I don’t report false news. Let me go ahead and present it to you so you can see where the proof is in the pudding, where I get my reports from. It’s only legitimate sources. Here it is. Mark Stein straight from the source. All right. Mark Stein reporting multiple teams interested. Uh expected Aton to commit to the Lakers after he clears waiverss today at 5:00 p. p.m. Eastern time. Is that time, y’all? So, he’s going to commit to the Lakers, and it’s only a matter of when that tweet actually comes through. And I’ll be here till it does. I’m sticking on here till it does. So, make sure y’all hit that like button. Let’s get to 500. But uh you heard it here first. Yo, DeAndre Aiden is on his way, baby. DeAndre Aiden is on his way per Mark Stein. Credible source right there. Um you know, as far as Horford goes, there was a report that said the Lakers wanted to get younger, which makes sense for Aton, right? But we’ll see who we get as a backup. Maybe we trade for one. Damn, we still need another starting caliber big. I would love to get another one at least as a backup, right? Um again, Horford would have fit that bill perfectly. Um, let’s see what the Lakers are cooking up now. We got the foundation, right? You got Luca, you got LeBron, you got Aon. You have your foundation. Now you got to start building the infrastructure up like everything from within. You got to build within the fringe margins, right? Margins. A term that Rob Pelica likes to use a lot. Well, here’s your chance, Rob. Go build up the margins, man. Around the fringe areas. That’s what you got to operate with now. But you got you got the uh you got the Excalib Excalibur weaponry. It’s ready to go, right? This the the jumpsuit, the Halo suit is ready. Let’s suit up right now. Um I’m excited, guys. I’m excited. If I’m LeBron and and Luca, I’m pretty sure they’re somewhat excited because again, I think they’re thinking, man, this guy’s 26. He was the first pick for a reason. Let’s bring out the most out of him. Let’s push this young man to greatness. And I think he has it in him. He just hasn’t been in ideal situations. Let’s look at the Phoenix Suns. Let’s be honest. Chris Paul, Hall of Fame talent, he’s an [ __ ] Devin Booker, questionable Hall of Fame talent, mega [ __ ] It must have been hard for DeAndre Aiden to get along with those two. Then he goes to Portland. D what happens to Dame? He gets traded and you’re there by yourself. You’re you’re stuck playing behind uh rookie players that haven’t proven anything while you’re the first pick. You’re going to feel some type of way, right? Here’s a chance for him to grab his respect and run with it. Okay, you can run with it now. You know, uh let’s see. My guy said, “If you’re Aiden, of course you’re you’re going to want to play with LeBron Luca and LeBron.” And those are the benefits of having Hall of Fame talents like that on your team. When we got Luca, I know I knew we would be able to recruit some free agents. I didn’t know which ones. I didn’t even think DeAndre Aiden would be available. That’s the beauty of free agency. You just never know. There’s surprises in store all the way around. Man, my source had told me that Brook Lopez was a shoe in with for the Lakers. That Clink Capella potentially might have been a shoe in for the Lakers. You know, players like that. And then free agency started. DeAndre Jordan gets bought out and then bam, the plans flip around. That’s why I say even though I wanted to fully commit to DeAndre, I wasn’t 100% sure until it happens cuz anything can happen last minute. But thank God it doesn’t seem like Rob Blake is going to drop the ball on this one. He said, “We’re real Lakers. Me and Dan, bro, we expect when we got Patrick Beverly and both can’t stand uh his ass, especially when he was on the Clippers. We still going to root for everybody, right? No matter what you’re a Laker, you get our full uh commitment as Laker fans for sure. Uh City Light said, “Remember the under eight best season was with a true point guard like CP3. Now he has Luca. This is major.” Exactly, bro. You know, ball. You know B. We got to be excited for this move. Uh because exactly what you just said, man. Things are look things are looking up for the Lakers and this is just the beginning. I think there’s more moves up our sleeve and uh yeah, it is extremely exciting to know that DeAndre Aiden is on his way to LA, right? Um let’s see. But yeah, that was definitely his best season. You’re right about that. And people act like this guy hasn’t produced in the NBA, right? He’s not Brown. No disrespect. He’s not Brown. He’s got a lot more potential. Again, no disrespect, right? We’re talking about a legitimate seven-footer guys who through his careers averaged 16.4 4 and 10.5 rebounds with a block, right? Career field goal percentage 59%. That means he makes damn near 60% of the shots he takes. That’s more than half. That’s great percentages for a big man. Very efficient. Reminds me of buying them in that sense. Right now, obviously the numbers were off in Portland, otherwise they’d be hot, closer over 60, right? But man, it it just it’s a special time. I feel like Luca will have Aton looking like Derek Lively 2.0. I actually think, you know what? This fit might be better. this fit might be better. And I’ll tell you why, Alicia. Because Derek Lively can’t shoot. DeAndre Aiden can’t. He has a nice little mid-range jump shot. So, you imagine those pick and rolls, picking pops, the back throw screen lobs, the ability for this guy to be fed in the post going one-on-one because you can’t double team off of him because you got Luca in the perimeter. You got LeBron out there as well. I mean, the sky is the limit for this young cat. Absolutely, Kimmy. Let’s get this to 500, y’all. If y’all excited about eight, let’s get it to 500. Let’s keep it going past the hour till we make it official, but it’s unofficially official. All right, I wanted to be first on here to break it to y’all, man. Mark Stein reporting first. Uh, you know what? Shams has been a little off this entire off seasonason. He also wasn’t reporting a lot of the draft picks. There’s a lot of things he hasn’t been reporting. Uh, Brett Seagull has done a tremendous job of reporting on a lot of this stuff. Um, unless there’s something else in the works, but I do believe Aiden is in the back. I do believe Mark Stein Mark Stein doesn’t really falsely report stuff like that. So, I I’m willing to come out here and make my video early, man. I’m I’m very excited. I want to share that with you guys. I was going to go live regardless, but the fact that we got DeAndre Aiden in the bag is extremely extremely excited, man. Oh, listen. By the way, it’s more than 700 in here. That’s 1,400. I can see the true number because we got Twitter in here and we got multiple platforms in here. But, you know, on YouTube, it might just show the lower end of what’s on YouTube, but we got a lot. So, let’s make sure to smack that like button for your boy one time. appreciate you though. I think two more players are coming for sure. And then I do not rule out the possibility the Lakers still making a trade, right? I do not rule that out. But Nia, what’s up, girl? She said, “Dan, what are your thoughts on Trey Ly for wing defense?” I think we don’t want to do an We don’t want to have an overkill of wings. Now, I would not mind Trey Ly. You know, we just signed the wing and Jake and Jake Larabia, who’s very talented, um, and he’s got a lot of potential. He’s only 23. If you notice, so far the Lakers are going with what’s trending. Younger, more athletic, right? Nobody over 30 yet. Nobody. Everybody’s under 30 right now. First, Jake Larabia, now it’s about to be DeAndre Aton. And uh it’s a beautiful thing because we need to get younger. Look at the teams that made the finals. Extremely young, right? So, that’s where we’re going, man. Oh, hey, I’mma be on here till we get that confirmation. So, keep hitting that like button. But it’s pretty much, look, Mark Stein reporting it. I believe him. He’s never failed me like that. When he reports something, it happens. Unless he got hacked, I doubt that. Right, Aiden. There you go. Uh, so now we getting confirmation that Aiden is officially a free agent after clearing waiverss. Um, and yeah, so that that’s what we got right now. Officially, as of right now, just got the confirmation. So again, any minute now, we expecting that breakin. But this is it. I mean, Mark Stein reported it. We here, baby. We believe in Mark Stein. Dan, Denver still had a better off seasonason than us. I’m keeping it real so far. Yes. But let me keep it real, Vitali. Our offseason isn’t over yet. We still have roster spots to fill, right? So, yeah, our offseason isn’t over. We’ll we will definitely uh assess after the offseason, right? People giving us the warning symbol on DeAndre Aiden. Look, we got LeBron, we got Luca. They’re going to bring out the best in him. Trust me. We went from AD to DA. And you know what? In in the playoffs when they faced off against each other, they went toe-to-toe. Of course, um AD got the best numbers wise, but DeAndre Aiden ended up advancing in that series, unfortunately, due to the Anthony Davis injury. Now, one thing I can say about Aiden is he’s not very injuryprone, so that’s good news. We start there. He’s an able body and we’re going to go from there, man. Appreciate the super chat, brother. City Lights, Chris Paul may sign with the Lakers to run the second unit. Yes, that was a rumor I’ve been hearing from quite a while. Uh, but he also got the Clippers and the Suns on his list. Let’s keep it going, baby. Uh, Dan, how much better is Aiden over Hayes? Oh, he’s miles and miles better than Hayes. If we’re just talking talent, we’re not necessarily talking motor. We’re just talking talent. DeAndre Aton has the ability to be a top 10 center in this league. That’s how good he is. He’s not there right now, but he’s got that ability. Maybe Luca pulls that out of him and maybe he actually lives up to his hype eventually. I doubt it. Number one overall picks. If you haven’t been getting your first seven years, um it’s going to be really tough for you to get that 21 points and 10 rebounds that everybody thought you were going to be in your career. But I will settle for about 14 to 15 points, 10 rebounds, and a block and a half per game. That is tremendous value for, you know, uh somebody you didn’t have to trade for. I will take that any day. Any day. Again, seven foot guy, man. Uh, you know, he can be a consistent double double machine throughout his career, 59% from the field. Um, I like DeAndre Aiden. I’ve always been a big fan of his. Now, obviously, he’s got the physical tools. You know, he’s a high up upside, high high reward, lowrisisk guy. Right now, there is maturity concerns, right? There was a lot of negative stuff being said about him once he left Portland. That’s for sure. We’re not gonna sit here and sugarcoat it, right? Um, but you know, in spite of all that, I do think that look at look at what Kobe was able to get out of Metal World Peace. Fame, maturity concerns out of him, right? Um, with the whole, you know, fighting and the aggression and all this technical fouls and all that. Look what Curry’s able to get out of Draymond Green. I’m pretty sure if Draymond Green was on a different team, he’d be a a way bigger problem. His career might have been over. Look what LeBron was able to get out of guys like Rondo who remember Rondo, he was very troubled. There was a lot of negative reports on Rondo before Rondo um came to the Lakers when he was at the Mavericks, Mark Q&M, and they cut him too and LeBron James made it work. So again, Mark Stein is reporting for those of you guys I never I’ll never cap to y’all, man. Mark Stein reporting that uh yeah, he’s expected to sign with the Lakers. So any moment now, any moment now. Jake L. official just reporting that multiple interested teams expect DeAndre to commit to the Lakers after he clears waiver. So now we’re starting to get more and more news on this. It’s only a matter of time before it becomes official. And again, I show you where I’m getting this from. My source was the first to report though. Credit my source. Shout out my source. He told me there was a 90% chance that Aiden ended up with the Lakers. That’s some real credibility. This happened two days ago when we first caught wind of him being a fragent before anybody else picked it up. So again, I appreciate my source for that. But here you have it. you know, everybody jumping on board saying it’s about to happen. So, again, this is how it usually happens. He just cleared waiverss. Now, we should get the the news down the pipeline. We here, but this is the official breaking news video. Uh, let’s see. Dan, I’ve never been so anxious my whole life like like this post two days. You feel me? Hey, man. Hey, but listen, now we know and even I’m finding out how credible my source is. Really credible. That’s pretty crazy, man. Never imagined. Uh, I was testing out my own source and I’m glad he came through in the clutch for your boy, man. So, I will keep his name unnamed only because I respect what what he’s done for me and I appreciate him, man, and and and all that good stuff. No, definitely not. Definitely not. Now, that man right there, I got nothing to do with that man. Absolutely not. Then, I just woke up. Uh, did we already sign Aiden? Uh, it is being reported right now that he’s about to sign with the Lakers. Yes, he’s clearing waiverss though. He’s clearing waiverss right now. just cleared and should be getting that news anytime. Now, this is official though. Mark Stein first to report and now other uh media outlets are picking up on it, including Jake L. Fiser. Okay. And these are big Laker accounts. Lakers daily. These are big Laker accounts that again would not stake their reputation for false reports. So, um this would be the ultimate dupe if it doesn’t happen. I’m pretty confident now. I’m relaxed. You guys should be as well. Dan, I wouldn’t mind seeing Stanley Johnson on this team. Oh my god, you’re preaching to the choir. Shout out to my guy Stanley Johnson, man. If you guys aren’t aware, this guy uh has teamed up with me on this podcast before. He’s amazing. He is exactly the type of dirty workhorse players that we need. He’s going to get to work. Does not need the ball in his hands to be impactful. And we are here, baby. We are here. Um yeah. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. That’s disrespectful to my actual source who’s actually uh within uh the organization. So, yeah, that is disrespectful. Aiden isn’t that good, though. Here’s the thing. It’s not about what he was, it’s what he can become. I want people to know this. It’s not about we’re not going to get Portland Trailblazers DeAndre Aiden because if that’s the case, he not going to make it here, right? Um we’re we’re going to get a motivated. You’re on your last legs. This could be your third strike. You already been uh on three teams. This is going to be your 13th. That is what that is. Uh let’s see. Dan, any news on Walker Kesler? Well, we did have news on Walker Ker and that is that the asking price was two young pieces, right? Um I’m sorry, one young piece and two draft picks, which the Lakers do not have two draft picks. What we do have, however, is a pick swap and stuff like that. So, um yeah, that is what uh that is what is happening. But again, the Jazz seeking two draft picks and and a young player in exchange for Walker Kesser, that is extremely high. That is extremely high, right? Um, but yeah, apparently the Lakers are still out here uh working and and and doing what they have to do. There you go. Mark Stein providing us with the update. Look, I’m bringing it to you guys as I get them right here. As you can see, man, Mark Stein providing us with the update there. There you go. See, there you have it. Mark Stein attaching DeAndre Aton to the Lakers as well as him officially clearing waiverss and now becoming a a restricted I’m sorry, an unrestricted free agent. Right. This is as of 2:21 p.m. So again, we going to be here. Keep hitting that like button. We get 500, we stay on for two hours. I don’t give a damn. We going to wait until it officially breaks. But unofficially, yes, Aiden will be a Laker. Let’s see. Aiden was the best option out there without giving up assets. That’s what I think gets lost in the sauce. People want to get nitpicky. We were desperate, ladies and gentlemen. We don’t ever want to be in this position again. And hopefully under Mark Walter, we won’t ever be. But we were desperate for big. So much so that teams were super lowballing us and teams were trying to make off like bandits in any trades. And one thing I will give Robalena credit for is that he’s made a mistake before, but he’s kind of learned from it. He hasn’t really got swindled in trades after that Russell Westbrook crap that happened, right? So, he’s kind of learned from it and uh you know, it’s going to be pretty entertaining to see how this pans out. But I have nothing but good things to say about uh what the potential of DeAndre Aiden to the Lakers is going to be. I’m talking sheer potential. There is a chance it doesn’t work out. There’s always that chance. But that chance happens with everybody, right? Everybody. Uh let’s see. People are crazy. Uh to say 16 and 10 isn’t good. Come on, man. No one is saying we got a star, but we getting a very solid production. And we are not that we were not before. People just like to complain we got the best free agent center. Exactly. Exactly. That’s the That’s the key right there. Go get Dame Dollar and we get a championship squad. Yes. You know what? Right now I’m open after getting DeAndre, which to me was the biggest priority, you know. Um after getting that now I’m very open to whatever blusters up our our bench at this point, right? That’s what I’m open to, you know, very very excited, man. And and uh Pacer fans still hoping for DeAndre to change his mind before he he signs on the dotted line, but I doubt it. Again, everything was pointing in the direction of Aiden being a Laker. Number one, they share the same agent as Luca Donuch. You have to know that this decision was made before he even got bought out. There had to be back channel conversations that were happening before the man even got bought out. So, I think he was a Laker before, right? And another thing is that the Pacers still thought they were going to sign Miles Turner. So, they were definitely not the team that was having conversations, right? That breaking news about Miles Turner only happened yesterday. So, yeah. Um, let’s see. We got a good comment here. I think Laker fans need to understand that Aton was playing in some situations where they weren’t really utilizing him. I do believe playing with Luca and LeBron will help because they are pass first play style. Yeah. And and look, there’s a misconception that Lucas is a ball hog. He averages eight assists. Same thing with LeBron. All right? Those assists aren’t just, you know, popping up, you know, in the stat sheet, just a stat, you know, just a stat pack. Those are legitimate assist that make players better. Guys like Ruie benefit from playing alongside LeBron. Guys like Austin benefit, right? So, it’s just good to know. Do do you expect a one-year deal or a two-year deal for Aton? It could be either or. I am very curious and maybe this is the only holdup and this is why we haven’t got the off the the official news. We got the unofficial news by Mark Stein. Credit to him first to report it. But we didn’t get the official one yet because maybe they’re just working out the kinks of the contract. That’s what it could be. I’m not even sure under this new CBA we can even offer a two-year deal. And maybe the Lakers are making trades to maneuver to offer him a little bit more. We don’t know what it could be. But I do believe Aiden um you know is going to be happy whatever contract uh we give him because more than the contract itself it’s a golden opportunity to showcase your skill set on the biggest stage. How can you turn that down? You cannot. He said I’m not that excited. That’s fine. That’s fine. But I am I’m excited. We still have Austin Reeves. We still have uh Ruie Hatchimore. We still have Delton Connect. We still have our first round pick. We still have pick swaps. We still have a lot of pieces to be able to move them around and get right if assuming our roster still isn’t right. Right. So, let’s see what happens. Let’s see. We got a Suns fan in here. Eddie says, “As a Suns fan, I can truly tell you that Aiden is so athletic and talented. It’s crazy. In the same breath, I can also tell you that he has no heart. But you guess what, man? Guess what? We we about to bring a heart surgeon up in this [ __ ] His name is Luca the Dawn.” All right. And that heart s that heart surgeon is going to make sure he gets a heart transplant because as a Laker you have to have a heart. I’m telling you this fan fan base is the best. We’re going to get on him. He’s going to feel the pressure here until the day that he either snaps and wants to leave or until the day that he, you know, snaps in line and he becomes a hell of a ball player. So pressure makes diamonds or it makes [ __ ] Pick one DeAndre Aiden. you have a golden opportunity to become a diamond in the rough here and to live up to some of the draft hype where they had you, man. They drafted your ass over Luca. They drafted your ass over uh Trey Young. You got to prove yourself, man. It’s time. Yeah. I hope he proves everybody wrong. Everybody, including Sans Suns fans. I know Suns fans are mad uh or or disappointed because of, you know, the way that exit happened, but I’ll tell you, the Suns organization is very murky, man. I think you guys have bigger problems than worrying about DeAndre A, right? You see what’s going on over there? Cuz I I have no clue what they’re doing. You think so? We’ll see. We’ll find out. We’ll go back to this, man. We’re going to go back to this one right here. Laker fans will want traded by December. If that’s the case, then maybe we will, but I doubt it, man. I I really think you’re going to get a motivated DeAndre Aton. If your only weakness is motivation, that can be solved. Okay, that can be solved. You’re playing for a billionaire owner now. That can be solved. Who do you want as a backup? Richards or Vagner. I’ll take Nick Richards. I’ll take Al Horford. I’ll take uh you know, there’s a couple of names, but Nick Richards is probably one of my preferred names. Um Al Horford, if we can get him for veterans minimum, if he was signed for that, that would be a huge deal. Although, I’ve also heard that even though the Lakers did register interest, we heard conflicting reports that the Lakers wanted to go younger. So, I’m not sure if that’s actually valuable. My source told me he’s likely to sign with the Warriors. So, again, we’ll see. I see Kesler added Braun AR and Luca on social media. Yeah, that happened actually like last week or something like that, right? That happened like last week. So, I’ll tell you what, man. We get 750 likes, I turn on the phone lines. If you guys really want to talk to your boy, I can definitely turn on the phone lines. Let’s get up to 750. Let me know, Kimmy, if we get those. We got 1,782 and combined with Twitter and YouTube. So, we can get those. We can get 750. He said, “That’s a bar. I got you, fam. I got you. Yo, Dan, would you trade Reeves and a first for Kesler? No. That’s that’s a holy overpay and the contracts wouldn’t even match. They’d have to bring back a lot more than Kesler to make that contract match, right? What can Van what can uh Vandy bring in a trade? Say Vandy and Gabe, what is your opinion? Can that bring to us? I think Vanderbilt right now might have a lower stock than he he he would normally have because the last couple years he’s been either hurt or he hasn’t shown much production on the offensive end. It’s tough to kind of uh sell that in value in the open market as far as Vanderbilt goes. Here’s the thing. All right, there’s always a team out there that’s interested and we just got to find out who that team is. As far as Gabe Vincent, what does he have another year left on his contract? I think he’s on his final year, right? This is his third year. He’s on an expiring contract. I could see him having more value individually in a trade to get you a role player than, you know, in a package just because he’s an expiring contract, right? Um, why do we keep looking Maxi Clever? Because we don’t even know if he’s going to be on the roster. He most likely will because he has a decent relationship with Luca, but we we’re not for certain that Maxi Cleber will be on set roster, right? So, I think that’s the reason a lot of us haven’t really talked about him much, but he does bring some uh you know, he does bring some uh floor spacing and some hustle to the team for sure. Um let’s see what happens, y’all. But again, I’m hearing right now and I’m reading and I’m hearing that the Lakers are still active in free agency. Could it be that the Lakers are working on a trade to clear up more cap space to officially sign DeAndre or what is the holdup here? Because apparently he already has chosen to come here according to multiple reports. So, what could be the only hold up before making it official? Maybe the Lakers are, you know, working on a trade to clear up cap space. I don’t know. Or maybe they got something else in the works. We’ll see. But yeah, Dan, I’m a week I’m a week old. My bad. No, you’re good, man. You’re good, brother. Tell me, we got him. Sounds like we got DeAndre Aiden. Very exciting time as a Laker fan. We’ve been starving. We’ve been starving for this news, and we finally got it, man. We got a little early, but we got it. It’s here. Mark Stein, first the report. All right, for those of you that don’t believe me, rewind the video. I showed my the source where I’m getting it from Mark Stein. Uh, superstars aside, what else can we do with this current roster? I like the Dang Time idea, but we uh What are some of your sleeper picks, Dan? Great question. I’ll be honest, I want more size, man. I want more size. The more the marrier. Um, I’m not sure. I think Larry Nance signed today, but if if he’s still available, I like him. I like Bobo out there as a third stringer, right? I heard that Jackson Hayes uh refollowed some NBA uh some Laker players and and Lakers. So, if that’s the case, then he might be a backup. Not that I like that very much. Uh but again, there’s going to be some options for sure after DeAndre Aiden. Chris Paul, I wouldn’t mind him because he’s a floor general. He can definitely get our second unit going. Uh Damen Lillard, I’m Anybody who’s mad at a potential Damen Lillard signing is a fool because he’s low risk. Actually, he’s no risk. All reward, especially if he signs for the minimum, all reward. If he comes back at any point this season and he comes off the bench because he’s coming off of a major injury, that can be all reward for us. same time in LA next to Luca, next to LeBron, next to Hayden, next to Reeves or assuming he’s still here. Like that is what I would love to see happen. But again, Chris Paul, the healthier option will be available all year. Wouldn’t mind him. Lonnie Walker, Lonnie Walker is a free agent. Big fan of his. He’s kind of a poor man’s Jordan Clarkson. You know, it’s a good thing, man. It’s a good thing. The Eddies, appreciate you, man. Maxi is a backup center. Yeah, he’s a floor spacer and a rebounder. somewhat of a rebounder, right? Let’s get it, man. It’s time, Laker Nation. We here. Hey, finally, man. It feels good. It feels really, really good. Um, you know, uh, for for the Laker fan base, man. We’ve been starving for this great news. And there you go. There you go. Chris Haynes officially breaking the news. But again, I trusted uh my source two days ago and I trust Mark Stein. I will never report nothing false to you guys. I told you guys. Breaking news. Free agent center. DeAndre Aiden is expected to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers. League sources tell Chris Haynes, another credible source. And again, you heard it here first. If you haven’t subscribed, please do. I don’t clickbait you guys. You guys been with me for years. I give you nothing but straight facts. Whether it comes from me or from my source, it’s going to be straight facts. So, if you’re new here, hit that like button, subscribe. You heard it here first, even before the great Chris Haynes. All right. Um, there you have it, guys. There’s nothing about it on ESPN. Uh Chris Haynes reported, Mark Stein reported. That’s two major people. And your boy reported it. That’s three people staking our our our reputation online. We wouldn’t do that just for clicks, man. I got you guys. Trust me. You can trust me, chats. You can trust me. I I in the history, eight years being on YouTube, I have never went live and reported something that didn’t happen. This would have been a first. If if if they would have uh went back on this deal or whatever, this would have been a first. We would have made history here on DTLF channel. So again, number one source for all things Lakers and NBA, hit the like button, subscribe. Thank you guys. There you go. You heard it early, man. You guys like early news or not? Because if you like early news, you’re in the right place. You’re in the right place. All right, hit that like button. I gave you guys this news. 90% chance I said this happens two days ago. Actually, it was three. When was it that they reported? I lost track, man. Free agency got me tripping. But, you know, there you go. It’s official, ladies and gentlemen. There you have it, DeAndre Aton. And here it is. Here’s the deal. I got it for you guys. DeAndre Aton has agreed to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers between Portland and LA. Aton will earn 34 million next season. So, there you have it. So, I guess they’re giving him the rest of uh the mid-level exception, right? So, Jake Larabia and DeAndre Aiden split the mid-level. DeAndre Aiden, you are here, baby. Congratulations, guys. And matter of fact, let’s hit the round of applause right there. It’s official, baby. You heard her here first. Smack that like button if you guys are fans of early news. Smack that like button, man. I don’t report [ __ ] It’s official now. All right, it is official, ladies and gentlemen. And uh make sure you sub as well. Sub up, baby. I don’t know about you guys. I love early early news, right? You and your source were right again. I got you guys, Kimmy Goat. I got you guys, man. Exciting time for Lakers fan. we finally get that sevenfooter, that anchor, that man to to come in here and actually help the Lakers. We’re not going to get bullied as much anymore. If we can now pivot and focus on a backup center, that would be tremendous. And I’m getting giving you guys the updates as we go here. Hit that like button. We get 500. We go for two hours, baby. Uh it says here, Shams reporting the Lakers find their starting center in uh 2018’s number one overall pick and only player in NBA history. Check this out. only player in NBA history to average 15 plus points uh and 60% shooting in the postseason. All right. He has a career averages of 16.410 rebounds, shooting 59% the last seven seasons. Boom. How you like them apples, chat? How you like them apples? All right. Only player in postseason history to be that efficient. Don’t tell me I shouldn’t be excited for this signing. Please do not tell me, man. Your boy knows ball. Your boy, man, you’re very welcome. Hey, you’re very welcome, brother A. It’s my pleasure. It’s what I do for a living. Can the chat give Aiden a chance? He’s in LA. He’s a Laker and he’s playing with Luca. A change of scenery would do wonders for a P for uh any person. Let’s go. And and he’s coming here to the best fan base, the best city, the best weather, the best fans, beautiful people, everything. Man, the money is here. Guys, you guys don’t think Luca had anything to do with this? LeBron’s not recruiting. Per source. He’s sitting back watching. This is Luca’s time now. Luca recruited DeAndre Aiden. I’m pretty sure. Ra Palena credit. Congratulations. You did your job. All right. Your name was on the line even though you landed um Luca. You had to give him you had to give this man uh you know um a big man which we didn’t get. And by the way, Mark Williams, we had traded Dalton, multiple first round picks, one pick, first round pick unprotected, and like two pick swaps and some second rounders just for Mark Williams. We get Aton. I like I don’t know about you guys, I like Aiden better, especially healthwise. That makes me very, very excited. Hit that like button, y’all. Y’all got the news early. Let’s get it. Let’s get it, man. We love them apples. Yes, sir. What’s next for the Lakers? Well, now we pivot and we try to see how we can blossom to the ne the rest of the roster. Um there’s plenty of good free agents out there still available right now, guys. And uh it is very very awesome and exciting uh to see that we’re going to have options now. And uh man, shout out to it. Always feels good when Shams reports it. But like I said, I’ve been following other sources, including my very own personal private source, and they have been very accurate. If you guys want to follow, make sure you follow your boy first. First and foremost, subscribe right now. Follow me on Twitter as well for all things up to date. But Mark Stein was the first to report it right officially. And then Brett Seagull has been tremendous. That’s another good source right there that you can believe unlike a lot of these BS sources out here, man. I never follow those. Um, and then of course, Shams is the ultimate top dog, but he’s been a little late to these reports. Okay. I think your boy has reported stuff before Shams. So, ESPN, holler at your boy, man. But uh you know honestly um it it is an exciting time. Lakers getting it done. It wasn’t pretty. I told you guys you guys asked me last night if I felt like a move was coming. I said I felt today a move was coming. Not yesterday. Right. So we hit on that one. Uh very exciting. All right. Let’s see. Yeah, bro. I’ve been blessed. I’ve been blessed. I can’t even lie. Uh Peruvian guy. Uh DTLF. Can we salary dump Vandy Gabe or Cleber? The Lakers can do anything. I want you to know this, right? You saw what the Milwaukee Bucks did, right? You saw what Milwaukee did in the way they were able to wave and stretch Damen L. If that’s possible, anything is possible. There’s options for us to have. I’m sure they can wave and stretch or trade away or attach a second round pick or attach something to get rid of some of these contracts. But I do believe these guys will have trade value, especially around the trade deadline, seeing as they are expiring contracts. Yes, we finally got it, Laya. It feels good, doesn’t it? It feels good to have a center. It feels amazing to have a center, man. And and and uh you know, I’m not surprised. Again, my source hit me up two days ago about this and said there was a 90% chance it was going to go down. You know, he’s legitimate. He just proved it to me this summer and one summer. Uh if Dan reports it, you better believe it. It’s going to happen. Let’s get it, man. Now, remember there was a time when I was guessing stuff and I told you guys I was always honest. I didn’t have a source at the time. I was guessing, but man, those lucky guesses, bro. Now we getting that information straight from the source. All right. Um, let’s see here. We back. My G’s Laker for life. Dan the man. Appreciate you, man. Thank you. Uh, P, right? P, I think I said that right. Uh, P. Dan, all you need is a suit and then you can replace Shams. Now, I’d never do that. This guy is a beast, right? Shams is a beast, but he probably had his hands full. So that was backup this summer, including in the draft. In the draft, there was times where Shams wasn’t no longer reporting on the actual draft moves, but the trades only, which is fine, man. I know how Shams feels on a smaller scale because even I have my hands full, right? Again, shout out to Retro Actual. He’s been making the thumbnails and all this good stuff. And you know, he’s been helping me tremendously because usually I don’t have any help outside of like side sources and stuff like that. But um this has been, you know, to see what Shams does on such a high scale level. He has all my respect, man. All my respect because I know how hard it how hard I work every day and how my throat hurts at the end of the day. So, please make sure y’all smack the like button. We’ve been here, man, all summer. And uh we’re just getting started. I feel more moves are coming. Dan, you’ve been staying faithful to the Lakers game. Begin to lose hope, but you said, “Wait, we got this.” A Sharon, this is what we’re here for. you know, over my years and experience of covering the Lakers, you learn to be patient. You know, I started off a fan, just a diehard fan, and and now, you know, when you get into this field, you learn that uh everything takes place at his own time. But I had a feeling it was going to be today based on my source and based on the reports that were being put out there, you had a feeling. Of course, Aiden cleared waiverss today, obviously, but you just knew the Lakers were going to start making moves here and right away. DeAndre Aiden is the first domino to fall. All right. Um, let’s see. The wave and stretch is the nuclear option. Yeah, that’s that’s definitely the nuclear option. He said teams have amnesty someone in like 10 years and Dame had the biggest contract ever to get stretched, but they can flip those expires. Exactly. I’m saying the same thing D free just said the same thing D free just told us right now is that we those are expiring contracts they have value right so we need to clear up cap those things have value so I’m very excited for that now worst case scenario doomsday scenario right let’s just say we could get Damen Lillard and Al Horford and you and nobody wants to help us facilitate any trades or make any cap space for those guys then yeah that’s when you go into doomsday scenario like uh Me and D free just said yes sir. Uh we wanted LeBron to take a pay cut but losing DFS did the same thing opening the MLE with what we got Larab and Aton better value. Also Larabia seems more like Dalton replacement than DFS1. That’s a great point. Better much better value. We needed a big man. I’ll be honest with you guys. All right the and it was very short and it’s a very unfair for me to say this but I got to say it. Got to keep it a stack. Love DFS. Was very excited when we acquired him. He was extremely underwhelming in the postseason. He almost made no shots when he was open. And you know, for somebody who shot over 40% in Brooklyn, then you came to LA, you shrunk. I don’t blame the Lakers for letting him walk. But I would have been really upset if we let him walk and didn’t get anything. We got two things. We got a younger piece and we got a big man that we needed. If if I told you during last trade deadline that we were going to trade DFS to Portland for DeAndre Aton, right? And we would have got they would have threw in Jake Larabian assuming he was there. Y’all would have said you’re tripping, Dan. Nobody’s making that trade. But look, we stayed patient. Yes, DFS walked. But look at us now. Now we cooking right now. Our offseason’s starting to get get a little bit of steam. Right now we’re starting to go and get to that next level. So again, we we had to stay levelheaded. I know Laker fans are very passionate, myself included. Y’all seen the gifts I was posting on Twitter. Very passionate. But at the same time, we got to stay levelheaded because we know there’s a plan. There’s a plan in place. We’re under new ownership and we’re going to see improved offseasons. We’re going to see improved trade deadlines. We’re going to see improved trades. I’m expecting a lot moving forward, right? Um, thank you so much, Joe. Appreciate you, man. You the man, Joe. Thank you, bro. Uh, let’s see here. Um, see what Jeff L. Fisher has to say, y’all. I’m telling y’all, man. This eight and thing. This eight and thing right here. Uh, let’s see if we can pull up the uh contract situation here for Aiden. I want to know what that contract is looking like. That’s what I’m trying to find out, right? Um, some reason it’s not popping up. If you can link me, uh, if you can link me there, uh, I’d appreciate that, my guy Dree, appreciate you, bro. Uh, two-year deal. It’s a two-year deal. Okay. We figured it could be. We figured it could be a two-year deal. I’m not surprised there. Um, so yeah, that’s pretty good. Two-year deal for DeAndre Aton. Does it have a player option? How we looking there, right? Does it have a player option or or whatever? Um, we’ll see. But yeah, all in all, guys, we had to do what we had to do to lock up this contract for sure. We got our center, at least our starting center. Now, we need a backup. I personally still don’t trust Jackson Hayes. I’d be a little disappointed we going with him, but I wouldn’t be as mad anymore that we got Aiden. I’d be furious if we wouldn’t got Aiden and then all of a sudden, you know, let’s see. DFS was hurt in the playoffs. The only problem was we used P picks to get him from Brooklyn. Yeah, that’s true. But again, those picks ended up bringing us back, you know, some cap space and and uh you know. All right. Mike Scott says, “Aidan’s situation is unique. Although the deal with the Lakers is for two years, he’ll earn 34 million this season with the Blazers and the Lakers with a player option to opt out for a new deal. Strategic move by Aiden to find a much better basketball fit to showcase his talent. So, there you have it. It’s a player option for next year. Most likely, he’s going to opt out and he’s going to want to get paid the big bucks. Assuming LeBron’s contract comes off the books, if Aiden proves it, guys, then it’s wraps, right? If Aiden proves himself, he’s going to get the big bucks from the Lakers, especially if he has good chemistry with uh our guy Luca, which I think he will, right? So, let’s see here. Josh, he said, “Rob isn’t done yet. Jackson Hayes will not be our backup center.” I pray to God he’s not. Thank you so much, Josh, for super chat. Yeah, that I It’s no longer a doomsday scenario because we got our starting big. So, Jackson Hayes is a backup no longer looks as bad as it did, you know, 20 minutes ago. But but you know, it is also very awesome to see that we have our guy and now all of a sudden, you know, we we don’t look as desperate. I don’t know about you guys, but a former number one overall pick who’s a double double guy throughout his career. Sign me up for that. By the way, Evan Cittery reporting the Pacers made a strong push for DeAndre Aiden after Miles Turner signed with the Bucks per source familiar with the situation. But Aiden valued Los Angeles due to the presence of Luca plus immediate title aspirations. Smart man. I knew he was smart. What did I tell you guys this morning? I knew he was smart. I was never concerned with those rumors of the Pacers, man. Of course, Indiana was going to get desperate. Of course, they lost. They lost that on Miles Turner. But nobody wants to go there with an injured Hallebertton. If Hallebertton was healthy, then maybe Aiden would have considered, but I was never worried about the Pacers, and I knew DeAndre Aiden was smart. Again, the benefits of trading for Luca Donic is this guy’s going to be not only a generational talent for years to come, but he’s going to be a great bargaining chip at the table every free agency and every trade deadline. Why? Because players want to play with him. One thing I’ve always noticed about Luca Don is that he has a great personality, great relationship. It seems like mostly everybody around the league loves him. That is really good for him. And as far as recruiting free agents for us, right? Dere said, “Ironically, there’s reporting that Jackson Hayes is pretty likely to come back. He shares the agent with DeAndre and Luca, and he’s also been following guys like Jake.” Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness. Please don’t do it, Lakers. Please don’t. We might be looking for a backup center at the trade deadline if he comes back. Right. So, there is that. There is that. We need more two-ways. I think we already signed two of them, right? I think we’re on I think we’re on the hook for two. Hey man, I I I cannot take full credit. Gota give major love and I know he’s watching. Credit to you, man. Shout out to my source. He He earned my trust. This was a trial period from, you know, from me and him and he definitely earned my trust. So, I appreciate you, man, if you’re watching right now. Uh is it I still don’t like him, but let me sit up here. I still don’t like him, but I will still defend the fact that I think he would be much better in certain matchups that require a quickfooted switchy big as opposed to a slower one. I’ll tell you where I don’t mind Jackson Hayes, right? I don’t mind Jackson Hayes in jail because this man loves to hit women. No, I’m just playing. I’m just kidding. Uh we shouldn’t make jokes about that. My my apologies. But um I wouldn’t mind Jackson Hayes at the third stringer. Let’s be quite frank. I would not mind Jackson Hayes the third stringer because he’s still very raw offensively and defensively he’s hit or miss. You cannot count on him in the playoffs. I still want to back up Bake and you know if he’s willing to sign for veterans minimum we have an extra roster spot so be it then. All right, bring him on. But if he’s going to be our primary secondary, I’m going to be really struggling to justify that, right? Really struggling. He said, “Lakers need shooting sign Beasley to a public defender contract.” Oh my goodness. Uh, we don’t want Hayes shooting defend pick and rolls and cut to the basket. Decent, man. Decent. Jackson Hayes has the lowest IQ. Well, he’s not the smartest guy. I wouldn’t pick him out of the litter, right? Like, he’s not the smartest guy in the world, but he’s just a big body option, that’s all. Uh, but the two-year deal for Aiden, if I have to grade that for the Lakers, I think that’s a A+. And I’ll tell you why. I was scared. This was my biggest fear. The only fear I had with Aiden picking somebody else was that they might have offered him a longer term deal, right? But the two-year deal in this case, usually I’m on Rob Blink about two-year deals. This two-year deal kind of aligns with everything. It allows us to compete for the now and it also allows us to have cap flexibility for when free agency becomes available uh in 2027 2028. Right? That summer is going to be crazy, man. Don’t know if you saw that uh Theo is missing summer league, but I’m super duper excited to see Bronny in action. There’s a video of a fulllength workout of him going around and doing scoring point guard drills. See, I’m excited for that as well. I think the player development under new management under the new ownership is going to be better over the years. Um, yeah, I did I did talk about it a little bit here earlier in the video about Theo uh being out for summer league not being back till training camp and that’s unfortunate, but we’re very patient here. So, we’ll wait. He did it again. KD two-year Rob Pelanka strikes again. All right. Two-year Rob Robert Pelanka strikes again. And I might have to do multiple videos today. So, make sure y’all smack that like button because I’m trying to stay on as long as possible. But I might have to do multiple videos because I think I have a feeling this is just the beginning and we’re going to have even more moves coming uh relatively soon here. So uh we got to we got to keep our eyes open at this point. What do you think about picking up Howard? Better than Jackson Hayes, I guess, but kind of on the older side, man. Y’all need to leave Dwight in Taiwan. Facts. Better off bringing in DeAndre Jordan at that case. I don’t want either, by the way. I’m being sarcastic. Let’s see. Aiden for 7 mil is a home run. Bruh, I don’t see one single Laker fan, like true Laker fan, that’s complaining about this. This is a almost non-risk, extremely high reward. What are the odds that he’ll be worse than Jackson Hayes? None. There’s no odds about that. What are the odds that he won’t live up to the hype? Uh, 3070 probably. What are the odds that he will outplay his contract like a madman and eventually earn another one? I say there’s a 50-50 odds on that. I think his numbers are going to balloon just like Ruiz did, just like Austin Reeves did after Luca joined. When you play with great talent who was unselfish, your numbers balloon. That’s what’s going to happen with Aton. Pick and roll, lob thread, pick and pop uh shooting threat. We’re here, baby. Laker Nation, we are here. Lakers still have the five million uh by annual exception to use. Horford possibly again. And I think I tweeted this earlier today. If we end up with Horford and uh DeAndre Aiden, we won this off seasonason. I give that a A+. Even if I don’t care who you sign off the bench after that, we can figure that out later. We can still do trades, right? Uh for me, if we do sign out Horford, my next target will be Malik Monk off the bench. And I’m looking to package Kate Vincent and maybe a second round pick or some sort of pick swap or something. Whatever it takes. Go give me Malik Monk as a six-man candidate. And uh maybe we can pair Malik Monk and Austin off the bench. I don’t know. We’ll figure that out later. But you go get the pieces. We didn’t have a bench last year. So I wouldn’t even mind like a Chris Paul, a Lonnie Walker, a Malik Monk. Just top options off the top of my head right there. I’m sure there’s more. We’ll look at the free agent list and do a separate video. The Anthony Melton now looks a lot more attractive as far as if you trade, but you have to trade. I don’t want too many 63 guards, man. We looking like circus circus with all these short people. go get me, you know, somebody with a little bit more size. Personally, I did like the Jake Larabia signing because he’s 6’8 and he’s only 23. So, I do like that Horford needs a walker. Well, he can he can use that walker off the bench for the Lakers. He’d be a great veteran player. He would give us some solid minutes and he can definitely produce for us for surely. Let’s bring Let’s make that happen. Where we at as far as the likes go, Kimmy go? We got over 2,000 uh between all the media uh social media stream right now. I think Cole Anthony has yet to sign somewhere. That’s another great option if he becomes an unrestricted. Is he unrestricted right now? That would be Yeah, that’s Yeah. All right. 498. Let’s go, man. I’mma give y’all some time. Let’s get to that 500. Let’s Let’s click it in, baby. Let’s click it in. Let’s tap in. Do you think there’s a concern that the lights are too bright for him here? Yeah, it’s good basketball fit, but is is it a good person fit? Everyone knows this is a guy with motivation issues and motor issues. Of course we have that concern. Of course that is that is a major concern. But you cannot turn down that level of talent and that much potential over a concern like that. Right. Again there is literally there was anybody that was as skilled as he was in free agency. The closest thing to that is Horford. But we’re talking Horford. I’m sorry. We’re talking Horford, you know, towards the tail end of his career. Like you know it’s different. It’s really different. I think he’ll be on his best behavior this year because of the contract year. And ideally for him, he comes off that second year with a raise, though. Yeah, for sure. He’ll be on his best behavior, which is why I’m excited, y’all. Which is why I’m now sitting up. I was leaning back. I’m sitting up now talking about DeAndre Aiden again. Sevenfooter, legitimate, soft touch around the basket, solid footwork, ability to space, which makes him a modern big, ability to post up, which makes him an old school big, ability to set tough screens and roll to the basket and finish. He’s just going to be making himself a target. And defensively, we got somebody who can contest shots at the rim. That’ll make our perimeter defense a lot better because now you have the confidence that if you get beat off the dribble, you don’t have to overh help, right? you can go and recover and get the next man’s man because you have DeAndre Aton down there as an anchor, right? Anybody who plays real basketball knows that having a true anchor down there allows you to shoot better because you know if you miss there’s a chance of an offensive rebound. It allows you to be more comfortable in the perimeter in your defense because you know you got a big monster in the paint and there’s if there’s only really two shots you can give up the wide open three. So, if you close out and they beat you off the dribble, now they got to hit you with a mid-range, which is kind of a lost start in the modern NBA. Or they got to hit you with a teardrop, which really gets impacted, right? Really, really gets impacted if you have a sevenfooter in the paint, right? Let’s go, baby. We got the 500. We here. We here for another hour entirely. Let’s get it, baby. Um 7 foot, 7 foot, one with shoes, doesn’t matter. He’s a sevenfooter regardless. You know, he’s here. day. Um, who else? Let me ask you guys this. Who else would you guys like? Let me go ahead and pull up the free agent list to see who’s available really quick. Let me go ahead and type that in. Um, wow. Cuz wow, guys. Um, I’m I’m very excited about the Lakers off seasonason so far. Now, the Jake Laravia signing doesn’t look so bad, does it? All the people that were panicking said we needed a center and we got Jake from State Farm, which was funny. It’s a funny joke. Uh, some somebody even said we got Yoan Bua. I was laughing that those are funny jokes. Even Yoan got a little laugh out of it um with Jake Laravia, right? But um truth of the matter be is now that signing looks a lot better. You got a young prospect um along with you know St. DeAndre Aiden both relatively young and the Lakers so far Rob Pelinka is making Trudas work. He said at the trade deadline last year he was looking for a star in return. He got his star in Luca. He said this offseason they were prioritizing a big man. He got his big man. He said they wanted to get younger in the wings. They drafted a young wing and they, you know, signed another one in Jake. So, so far so good. Uh, let me go ahead and see the updated free agent list available right now because we got some, y’all. Uh, let’s see. Let’s see who’s a free agent still right now. Here we go. Here’s the list popping up for me right now. DeAndre Aiden obviously just signed with us, so that’s off the boards for sure. Um, same thing on Lost. I need to update it. I need an updated one because right now they’re giving me the the outdated one. There you go. Give me the updated list. Come on, Google. All right, I’ll take a couple comments while Google looks it up. He said, I’ll take CP3. Okay, CP3 again, that’s a name that for sure we’d be excited to get now, right? Not not if we didn’t get our big man and we ended up with CP3 and Jackson Hayes, we would have been pissed. But now that we got our big CP3 would be interesting. All right, he intrigued now for sure. We still have the bannual exception picks and expiring contracts. Let’s freaking go, sis. That’s what I’m talking about. There’s the energy I was looking for. That’s right, Tasa. What’ I tell y’all? 90% chance of it happening. My source is legit, fam. All right, make sure y’all hit that like button. Uh, yes. Very excited. the bian the byian annual exception. Um, you can definitely pull something in nice with that. Who would you guys want with that exception? Let me go ahead and see if we got the updated list. So, so Josh Giddy is still a free agent, but he’s restricted. We want no part of this guy. All right. Let’s just say he doesn’t score more than 14. Let’s just say that. All right. Chris Paul, top of the list. Russell Westbrook, no thank you. Malcolm Brogden, I wouldn’t mind. Malcolm Brogden, I would not mind. He averaged 14 points last season with five assists, two rebounds. He would definitely blaster up our our bench nicely. 41% from the field, 35% from beyond the arc. You know, he’s been a solid scoring playmaker. Bring him in. We could use his versatility for sure. Ben Simmons intrigues, but we don’t need another non-shooter on this roster. Ben Simmons intrigues non-shooter. All right. Quinton Grimes restricted too much money. Cam Thomas restricted too much money. Eric Gordon unrestricted. Nah, I’ll pass on Humpty Dumpty like uh Blake Griffin called him, right? The Anthony Melton, unrestricted free agent, three indie guy. I would not mind him as long as we offload Gabe Vincent. Okay. Small forwards. Jonathan Kaminga restricted. Cody Martin, like him. I like him. I wouldn’t mind him. Tory, uh, Tory Craig, uh, might, you know, getting a little on the older side. Uh, power forwards. Now, this one intrigues me a lot. I don’t think the Lakers get him, but if we did, he could be our backup right off the top. Bobby Poris, there’s somebody we haven’t talked about. Okay, but Bobby, did he or did he sign already? Maybe Google’s trick uh tricking me. Does Can anybody confirm is Bobby Porter still unrestricted right now or did he resign with the Bucks? I don’t remember him signing. Maybe I missed it. Maybe I missed it, chat. They said we need a help on our bench. I really don’t want to see Gabe and Maxi next season. We’re getting cut off. Okay. Okay. Are you guys good? Okay. I don’t know what’s going on here. Can you guys hear me? Everything good? I think it was the internet connection. It might be a little low. We good? Oh, we’re good. Okay, we’re good. Good. All right. Awesome. All right, let’s keep the free agent list going. All right. Bobby Poris really intrigues me. Six-man candidate. All right. Somebody again who can come off the bench and be our primary big. Love it, man. Yeah, I think it’s on your your guys’ end. If anybody if I’m cutting off for anybody, Horford becomes a priority for me though as as the big man for sure. Chris uh Bucher is not bad, right? He is 31. He’s a veteran. He kind of fits what we need. Uh Trey Lyles, I don’t mind. Precious out of another name. If you could split that by annual exception and you get Precious and you get Bobo, our big man accounted for. Not worried about it. U and then we could turn around and trade for somebody else. We’ll see. But Al Horford to me is the pri priority. If the Lakers can get him uh a reconciliation price off the bench, I would not I would not mind Thomas Bryant. I’ve always been high on him since we drafted him. Still like him. I much rather Thomas Bryant over Jackson Hayes. You guys agree with me or not. All right. Um who else? Who else we got out here? Let me see. Carris Levert. I think he resigned already. Um yeah, a couple of these guys already already resigned. All right. They’re off the board. But those are just some of the names that I think would be awesome. All right. And now what we’re hearing, check this out. I am told that the Lakers aren’t done according to Legion Hoops. This is not me speaking. Legion Hoops uh just posted, “I am told Lakers aren’t done and are currently exploring trades to land a backup center.” Yes. Yes. Rob cook. Cook. Rob is cooking right now, chat. Rob is cooking. All right. So, I gotta stay on here, y’all. Keep hitting that like button. Thank you, Kimmy Go. Yes, anybody who’s uh tripping, check your internet, guys. Check your local uh service provider. I’m sorry about that, Alicia. Yeah, try to uh refresh. It might be the app. Frank Vogle joining the Mavs bench. Okay, that’s pretty decent. Thank you. Thank you guys for all your help. There you go. Coffee is good. Young lowkey 3 and D wing man. I’d have to say face because all the jokes I made about coffee when he was a flipper. Oh my goodness. But you’re right. You’re right. Uh job is definitely not done, guys. I do think I’m going to have to come back and break some more news later on today. So again, turn on the post noty bells if you have not subscribed. What are you waiting for? What are you waiting for? You heard it here first, baby. Uh yeah, Thomas Bryan would be really nice. Tamika, right? High motor workhorse. Somebody you can plug and play at either the four or the five. Can space the floor. He proved it in the finals. He was smacking threes in the finals. I always knew that young buck right there was going to make an impact somewhere. He’s doing He did it for Indiana last year. Bring him back. Bring him back. Why not? Yeah, people still don’t believe in Rob, but that’s okay. Rob got to keep proving it. Rob must keep proving it, right? It says here Brett Seagull reporting that multiple teams contacted Aton before it became clear that the Lakers were his preferred destination. The Warriors, the Bucks, the Pacers, all right, were all among teams that led the contenders to reach out to Aton. So there you go. So everybody that was criticizing us, your favorite team as well wanted to land this guy for a reason because the potential is solid. Right. Right. And you know, you know, I love the fact that he rejected all of them for us, man. For us. I love that. That’s Laker material right there. Right off the top. He knows. He knows what’s in his best interest. Ryan will be great off the bench. Yes. Be a solid backup. We still have options, but the Lakers are still trying to make trades apparently. I don’t know who they have their sight set on, but I’m all for it. Again, for years, I wanted the Lakers to get on this plan of multiple big men. I’m talking two to three big men, right? Looks like we’re finally uh you know, finally going to get that. Dree said, “Horford just makes perfect sense in Golden State. Uh he’s their exact style, shooting, passing, and defending big, so I bet he goes there, but I’d love him as a backup at 20 minutes per game.” Yes, my sentiments exactly. I I agree with you. From what I’ve been hearing, it sounds like um there’s already, you know, a lot of mutual interest between those two, between Golden State and between Al Horford. However, the Lakers did reg register interest as well. You know, shout out to the Bahamas, Carla. That’s what I’m talking about. Let’s go. Hometown hero headed to the Lakers. Let’s get it. Time to redeem yourself. Time to redeem yourself. I want Al Horford right now as a backup Dan for the Lake Show. Yes, dream case scenario. Again, don’t hold your breath for it, but it is a dream case scenario. If we get that, then the Lakers have aced the offseason. If you got Horford and and and to back up uh DeAndre Aton, now you got depth at the center position, and I’m talking real depth. Now, the power force position will be fine because LeBron plays there, right? Ruy plays there sometimes, right? The small forward position will be fine. Uh even though we lost DFS, we got Jake Larabia, right? We got plenty of options there as well as Vandel Ruie who also play the small forward. Shooting guard position led by Austin Reeves. We’ll see who the backup is. Dalton Connect is there as well. You know, point guard position uh taken care of. Obviously, Luca, you got um you know, Austin who can run some point. You got um you know, we have plenty of options at different places. Now, it’s almost like we’re just missing right now a solid bench guy who can get our bench going, one, and two, a backup. a backup big and and it seems like our focus right now is on the backup big. The Lakers finally learned from watching the playoffs. Something we’ve been clamoring for for years. We’ve been asking for Lakers to go with multiple bigs in the Bahamas now. Dan, let’s go Delano. That’s what I’m talking about. That’s exactly what I’m talking about. And yet, that’s another good point. A veteran like that. Yes. Yes. Let’s go. He asked for a trade cuz Ham refused to play him. He was good when he did play. Bro, he was who for who forgot that he was averaging 17 and 10 with two blocks when Anthony Davis got hurt. And I’m talking about Thomas Bryant. He was putting in the work, y’all. And then Darvin Spam did his thing where he didn’t reward players for playing good and he pretended to be blind blind as a church mouse, right? And uh it is what it is. But there you have it, man. I want I want to show this graphic right here because it is a sight to behold, man. And and uh now we’re starting to come together. We’re starting to look good now. We’re starting to look real good. How good? This good, baby. This good. We actually have a formidable starting lineup. Now, I still prefer Austin to come off the bench and to get, you know, a different more defensive two guard. You know, I’m willing to bet that the Lakers at some point will take a swig at trading for Marcus Smart. If you move Austin to the bench and you start Marcus Smart, oh my god, that starting lineup looks a lot better. It looks miles better if we’re talking about defense and offense, right? What do you guys think? I’m willing to bet that Marcus Smart becomes available at some point. What do you guys think of this starting lineup? It’s decent, but I still think defensively Ruie and Austin will get cooked and sometimes even LeBron sometimes. But go give me Marcus Smart. insert him into the starting lineup in the back row with Luca, right? And uh and bring Austin off the bench and now you have a more complete roster with Horford to back him up or Nick Richards or somebody like that, you know, that would be pretty damn solid, fam. Oh my goodness, man. Oh my goodness. But yeah, Frank Vogle is in agreement to join the Dallas Mavericks as a lead assistant coach. Congratulations, Mavericks. You guys got a good defensive guy right there. All right. Defensively, you guys got a you guys got a a really good coach defensively. Not much of an offensive guy, but that’s what you got. Jason Kidd and it almost seems like they’re trying to recreate the championship roster of the 2020 Lakers, right? JJ Pathetic to get the memo. I feel you, bro. Hey, JJ’s not going to have no excuses. You got Luca, you got LeBron. You know what I mean? You got options now. I don’t want to hear nothing coming out of JJ Reick’s mouth. Marcus Smart, right? I’m telling you, man. I I think the Lakers, holler at your boy if y’all need an advisor. Uh because I’m tell Marcus Smart would be exactly what the doctors ordered. And you would bring Austin off the bench. He might not like that very much. Um but that I think that would be the right thing to do. Smart doesn’t fit their style. Old and can’t shoot. Also coming off of injuries will be great to find someone like Max, a buy low guy. We’re who we talking about? Max Christie. Yeah, I don’t think Dallas trading him back to us. But Marcus Smart, I I’ll take him. I think he’s going to be low risk, extremely high reward. I know he’s coming off of injuries and stuff like that, but he’s had good years, man. As a defender, that would be tremendous. Point of attack defender. We finally have him in the back court with Luca. We need somebody like that who could defend at a high level. That’s the first name that comes to mind. You guys have any suggestions? I’m all ears. But yeah, I I really like Marcus Smart. I’ve been wanting Marcus Smart on the Lakers for years. Michael Thompson, Rip Fox, now DeAndre Aiden, I tell you are Bohemian guys always help Lakers win championships. You’re right. That is a good point right there, my friend. That is a great point. Yes. Shout out to Man, shout out to the Bahamas. How’s the weather like over there, by the way? My goodness, chat. My good. I just keep refreshing my phone because I keep I get notifications and I think it’s something special and important here. I don’t like that there’s too many offensive players in the starting lineup. Exactly. We need some defense in there. Let’s do it. I want Damen Lillard right now, Dan, off the bench to the Lakers nation. Well, I mean, you can definitely sell contending to Damen Lillard. You got Luca, you got LeBron, you got Aiden, you got Austin, you got Ruie. You got some depth now. Go get another free agent. and then maybe clear up one roster spot, maybe make a trade to offload something. Um, and then maybe we can pitch to uh Damy Lard. I do find it interesting that he hasn’t made his decision yet. So, I’m sure these these highlevel free agents are kind of they’re kind of like just observing the landscape and seeing who has a better chance at a title. If you’re Lillard though and you have a chance to rehab in LA, you know, and then you can come in hopefully around the playoffs and do what you do in the playoffs off the bench and maybe even help close some games. That would be tough. But I’m not saying that’s our necessity right now. Meanwhile, you still got veteran leaders like Chris Paul there that could come off the bench. So like Max, not him specifically, but some that’s a gem in young. And again, smart is old. He’s he’s the classic guy where the idea is better than the actual thing. He isn’t half the defender he used to be. I think he can be, man. If he comes to the Lakers, I think he will be. He’s no Patrick Beverly. I’ll tell you that. He’s no Patrick Beverly. Um, by the way, how old is Marcus Smart? They’re calling him old. He better be 35 D free. If you make me Google him, man, and he’s like 31, I’mma get on your head, brother. I’mma get on your head, bro. Let’s see. Marcus Smart. See, how old is he? He is 31, bro. 31 is is He’s good. He’s good. He’s good, man. Give me Marcus Smart. I I You know, give me Marcus Smart, bro. 31. You calling this man old at 31 is crazy work. I think you might have been thinking about somebody else. Uh Dree. Yeah, 31. They got a lot left in the tank if he could just, you know, stay healthy. But again, I think he would be cheap, too. Maybe he even becomes a bio candidate. Who knows? Who knows? But we got our guy, man. We got DeAndre. That’s all that matters. Back to the topic at hand. Could we uh make a move for Danny Green potentially? What team he plays for? But I completely forgot where Danny Green plays for. Yeah. Is he has he not retired? Does he even still play in the NBA? I don’t know, man. It might be too little too late for him. It might be too little too late. We’ll see. We’ll see. All right. Uh here’s what Evan Citter is reporting. And again, he’s not the best source, but sometimes he can nail some things, right? Um says here, even after signing the under eight, the Lakers remain strong pursuit of Al Horford. Ideally, Los Angeles wants to add a pick and roll threat alongside a stretch five. So, starting them both would be very interesting. That intrigues me. That really does intrigue me. You have some real big men up front. I like that. Uh, also multiple teams reached out to the Blazers general manager Joe Cronin to conduct a background on Aiden and receive strong reviews surrounding Aiden’s leadership and mentoring of big men such as Donovan Clin. Look at that. Look at that. All the negativity, yo. All the negativity they brought out here. And look at that. Apparently, there was some rave reviews from the Portland Trailblazers. Think about that. That’s insane, right, Mike? You never know, bro. Hey, keep keep uh keep uh speaking it out there, man. You never know, bro. I I’ve had people contact me, but it was less, you know, smaller networks that I wasn’t a huge fan of. Um and I rather do this for you guys personally because I can give you guys everything, you know, to the minute, to the second. But um yeah, if they ever come call it for sure, man. That that would be a huge blessing and it’ll all be because of you guys. Um of Texas will make this team. Mark my word. I can’t wait to break down summer league. I will be breaking down summer league. By the way, I will be breaking down summer league through and through. Um the California Classic starting with that. I think the Lakers are in that. If not, July 10th for sure. We get our first official game against the Dallas Mavericks and we get this our first look at to go up against Cooper Flag. So yeah, hey, the Lakers are in hot pursuit of another big. So we might be able to, you know, hop on later on and give you guys more news right there. I will be ending this at the 1 hour and 30 minute mark just to make it even. But I’ll take any comments, questions, concerns. The Lakers officially land DeAndre Aiden, ladies and gentlemen, and we are now in business. All right. I don’t want to hear none of that other stuff about how we’re having a crappy off seasonason. Now we can breathe a sigh of relief. We can be excited and uh you know, we can look forward to the rest of the offseason. That’s going to get very entertaining. Let’s see here. Okay. I thought I did. My phone going crazy. I thought I seen something. Thank god we got a center like this. Yeah, we’re gonna hopefully get another one. Dame is coming. You think so, Greg? I’d be excited if he comes off the bench. Great. Mike T, I put on, man. Shout out to the 310, brother. I got you guys, man. This for my hood, man. Shout out to Compton CPT. Um, let’s see. Is there a way we can get Kaminga? He would be a good fit. No, he’s a restricted free agent, so it would have to be a sign and trade. I’m not sure if what that does to us as far as the CBA. Do we get hardcaped? Do we get penalized? Um, yeah, we would have to trade major contracts to make that happen. I like Kaminga, but I think, you know, as much as I like Kaminga, I’m not sure if he’d be worth the price of admission as far as right now goes. He’s he’s underdeveloped, I think they did a horrible job of that developing that man right there. Dan, does Braun Ster go with Aiden now signed? That’s up to Braun. I don’t think anybody knows what Braun wants to do. I don’t even think Savannah knows. She probably ask him the same thing every day. So, what you gonna do, King? I don’t know. It beats me. Braun is random. Okay. For all we know, we can get out of the gates and go on like a, you know, 8 to2 start in the season and all the rumors go away. Or we can get out of the gates struggling a little bit and the rumors start sounding off. I think we’re going to hear a lot about this, assuming we keep LeBron past training camp. I think we’re going to hear a lot about this all year round, especially if we strug we struggle at any point in time, which I hope doesn’t happen because it’s very distracting, right? Uh, for the most part, I will be covering the summer league games here from home. Okay. Uh, usually um, usually I cover them on Playback, but Playback just gave us some unfortunate news. They are removing the, uh, creator fund. So, now anybody who’s interested, I will still be running playback, but now there’s going to be, um, subscriptions. There’s going to be subscriptions. So, uh, everybody who’s interested in the $10 a month subscription will get priority pass for the VIP access to watch along because, you know, we have to make a living. Us creators have to make a living somehow, especially those of us that do it full-time. Uh, and now that they removed the creator fund, we we won’t be able to either put out as much content on there because it’s basically for free unless we get the support, right? Power chats and all that will help. But, um, yeah, I think I’m going to put a subscription, uh, type formula over on Playback. If you guys do want to watch Summer League along the way, but yeah, I won’t be at uh I won’t be at Summer League. Uh, but I will be covering from home and hopefully Playback, we can still keep that coming. Savannah is your other source. She’s definitely not. She’s definitely not. I’m excited, bro. I mean, the coverage stays strong. The coverage will remain strong, fam. The subscriptions. Basically, all it is is if you want to watch along now, you’re going to have to subscribe, right? It’s only $10 a month, but that’s on playback. Why? Because they’re removing the creator fund. So, basically, we’re not getting paid from them. The only money we make is whatever uh the fans want to help the creators with, which is either power chats or it’s going to be subscription based. So, yeah. Unfortunately, I don’t like subscriptions. You guys know I like to give you guys everything for free, but uh subscriptions is going to be the way to go if we want playback to to remain active. If you guys love the channel, the Goat Central, and again, shout out to Kimmy Goat. Make sure you post the link for anybody who hasn’t followed. It’s going to be subscription based. Um, most of the stuff is still going to be free, but the VIP passes for sure is going to prioritize subscribers and um, also there’s going to be some private events that are going to be subscription only um, to try to incentivize people to sign up. Hey, I appreciate that, Joe. Hey, anybody who’s interested, all the information will be on Playback. If Kimo post uh, the link, it’ll be there. Joe, appreciate you go. Thank you, brother. And you guys will get plenty of cool little perks, man. So, I’m excited about that. All right, get us Horford with the bar. Oh my goodness. Al Horford, bro. Al Horford on the Lakers with DeAndre Aton, with LeBron, with Luca, with Austin Ruy. Got to trade Gabe. Got a couple of dead weight pieces still on the bench. Uh Vando assuming he comes back healthy, man. I’m telling you right now, Paulo, look no further, bro. It is an app where you can watch sports along with your favorite community and creators like yours truly, man. So tap in, bro. It’s absolutely free to download the app. Uh we now have a subscriptionbased formula for people that want the VIP pass to watch along, but you know, you’re going to get a lot more than just the VIP pass. So tap in, fam. Tap in. It’s going to be a lot of fun. Is there any way the Lakers can get Mitch Robinson? It would have to be a trade. It would have to be a trade, I believe. We don’t have cap space for him, but maybe a signing trade. Um I would love Mitchell Robinson, but you know, as a backup, he’d be tremendous. Uh, a starter alongside Aiden would kind of be overkill and you’d kind of be stagnant in the paint, right? Appreciate you. Hey, thank you, Pablo. Appreciate you, man. Much love, brother. Uh, without Horford, you can have Ruie and Reeves off the bench. That would be ideal. But I’ll tell you this, JJ Reic has a crazy love affair with Ruy, and I love Ruie personally. I think he’s a great player, but there were times where I felt like he should have been benched last year, and he wasn’t. like when Dalton was going off, they should have brought Ruie off the bench and let Dalton cook till he cools off, right? Um make make them earn their spot. Now Ruie, to be fair, he had one of the better playoffs. You could argue that it was LeBron Luca then Ruie, right? Not Austin. And you can’t argue that actually. That’s straight up fact. So um Ruie, I’m expecting him to stay in the starting lineup. He kind of has the same relationship with JJ that Tory and Prince used to have with Darv. I’m not a big fan of player fan like I’m not a big fan of having favorites as far as the coaching goes. Just play the best one available, right? But that’s that’s unfortunately what it looks like right now. I love coffee as a backup 3 and wing young below 30 athletic fits the timeline. Come on, man. You’re killing me, bro. Hey, let’s be honest. Marcus Smart is a good option. Marcus Smart is still a good option. 31, man. You know, you know I’m right about that. If he’s healthy, that’s a big if. But if he’s healthy. Hey, appreciate you. Hey, appreciate you, brother. Thank you, man. There’s still going to be plenty of free content on there. Don’t get it twisted. I’m not one of these creators that only wants to do uh pay to watch and stuff like that, but there is going to be priority towards uh you know, the VIPs for sure. Uh for the uh sub subscribers, Dan, who do you like, Missy or Richards? Oh, Missy’s much better, but I also think the asking price will be a lot better. I I I think the asking price will be uh a lot higher for Missy, right, from the Pelicans, last year’s rookie, who was all team second, right? Uh all NBA second team rookie. Um he also averages over a block per game and he’s basically a double double with a high motor. Of course, I like him. I don’t see why the Pelicans would trade him. I think the Lakers just inquired, I think. Right. Uh, that’s what it looked like when they first drafted him, but it looks like they kind of brought him along nicely here. Looks like we brought him along nicely and I think he’ll buy in, man. You have a golden opportunity to take over the reigns and become the leader of a franchise. You have to take that. I mean, look what Darren Williams did for that team. Look what Carlos Boozer before that. Malone and Stockton. So, there’s a chance you can build in in in Utah. Uh, I’m not a fan of Utah, but there’s a chance you can build. All right, guys. Really quick, this video is brought to you by Underdog. All right, make sure you guys tap in promo code DTLF. It helps keep the lights on and pay the bills and pursue the dream, man. And also D um DTLF for prize picks. All right, both. Listen, I don’t know if California is going to make prop entries illegal or not. But while we still can’t get this paper, get your paper, man. Definitely helps the channel out. Uh promo code detail gets you guys $50 with your first deposit on prize picks, right? And then on underdog, you get a free entry plus 50% deposit match on everything that you deposit on your first deposit, right? Promo code DTLF. That is going to wrap it up for me. Your boy’s going to go rest his vocal pipes. This is the second video today. Your boy working overtime. So, smack that like button. Subscribe if you already haven’t. And again, you heard it here first. Remember I said it. DeAndre Aiden will be a Laker. 90% sure. And it happened, man. So, I hope to see you guys again later with more breaking news. And you know where to find me, guys. Uh, final comments as my guy did a super chat. Let’s go, my guy. Uh, Richard says, “Dan, how are you, bro? Thank you for giving us a voice. Uh, reading our chats and bringing us news. Dig your music, too, bro. How much we pay Aidan. Like and sub.” Ah, man. Thank you so much for all the kind words. Album dropping October 31st. Stay tuned. That should be a lot of fun. That project right there, man. Comeback, kid. Dropping October 31st. Um, as far as how much we’re paying Aiden, I think it’s a little over seven million a year. Two-year deal with with a player option uh for next year. So, I think that’s what the contract right off the top of my head because I’m getting off here. But yeah, I think that’s what it the contract is. And so, uh, it’s a really good contract for both parties, right? Um, so that’s exciting. And, uh, I hope we get more exciting news. If we get out Horford, you know where I’m going be right back after these messages. Ta said, uh, get Gabe out of here. Get him out of here, sis. That’s what I’m talking about. You guys have a good one, though. I hope to see you guys later on tonight. All right. With more breaking news. I’m expecting more stuff today. If not today, tomorrow for sure. All right, stay tuned. Keep it locked. Subscribe. Hit the like. And I’ll catch you guys on the flip side. Peace.

If we are about winning this year we should not trade Bron because he 's gonna do everything to win right now
I dont like ayton but we got an insane deal
What a troublemaker… let’s hope our leaders and the name in the front of the jersey will keep him in check
Booker and Lillard couldnt feed a big like him. Luka will definitely maximize

Greetings, do you think we can get Damian Lilard for our depth??
Lakers got their center, Ayton is going to be a solid center, I believe Luka and LBJ will keep him motivated and get the best out of him
Hey Dan Jake larabia reminds me of kuzma in his young rookie days
Welcome to the Lakers family DeAndre 💜💛🏀😊
All I want from Ayton 15 plus and 9 plus rebounds with decent decent defense
Turn his mentality around…could be a steal

Luka makes Centers look good, he will elevate his game with the lobs 🔥
Dudes been EATEN ALIVE by Lopez and Nikola and has given up in games against BOTH of those players. I’ve watched this kid since highschool. Mark this for next year he’s soft.
