2017 Golden State Warriors Explained #shorts

They weren’t just built to win. They were built to destroy. [Applause] [Music] named Kevin Durant, Steph, Clay, Draymond, and now KD. This wasn’t a super team. This was a cheat code.
We’re going to stay with Stephen. Oh no. Baked them out and hit a three.
In the regular season, they went 67 and 15, first in offensive rating and points per game and second in defense. They had four allstars and two MVPs. KD averaged 25,8 and five on 54% from the field, 38% from three, and 88% from the line. He also had his best season defensively, averaged 1.1 steals, and 1.6 blocks. And Steph, still elite, 25 points, eight assists, and over 40% from three. Clay still locked in on both ends. Can get hot any night. Draymond won defensive player of the year and Andre Iguadala and Shawn Livingston kept the bench deadly.
Threw it ahead to Iguodala. Razled. Some notable players to mention who made an impact on the team as well includes vets like Zaza Pachulia, David West, and Matt Barnes, a shot blocking center in McGee, and some young guys in Kevin Looney, Patrick Macau, and Damen Jones. Then in the playoffs, round one swept Damen Lillard and CJ McCollum’s Blazers, dropping 128, 110, 119, and 128 in four straight games. Round two, Utah got the same treatment. 4 to zero, too easy. Conference finals, Kawawaii and the Spurs came in as a threat until Zaza closed out and Kawhai rolled his ankle. Game one became a comeback. The rest a formality, another sweep. They were 12 to zero heading into the finals. The finals a rematch with the Cavs. Game one. KD scored 38 points. One by 22.
On the bench. Pass all the way across and Durant throws it down. How’d that pass get there?
Game two. Same story. One by 19. James trying to harass Curry. Curry off the dribble. Layup off the glass.
Game three down late. KD pulls up over LeBron for the dagger three.
Opportunity. Durant for three. It’s good. Kevin Durant from downtown.
Cold bloodooded. Warriors take a three-0 lead. Cavs win in game four, but it’s all too late because in game five, Katie closes with 39 points, wins finals MVP, and the Warriors finish 16 to1 in the playoffs. The most dominant postseason run in NBA history. The 2017 Warriors weren’t built to compete. They were built to end [Music]

  1. How is it the most dominant postseason ever when the Shaq&Kobe Lakers also went 16-1 the year they beat AI in the finals?

  2. Its just unfortunately that people dont talk about Livingston enough because of the 3P Snipers but his midrange and defense was elite without a question. The only player on gsw team better than him now is curry

  3. A Lakers did the same thing πŸ˜‚ lol with less all star πŸ˜…when they face Iverson my homie he won a game no body else's win a game lol

  4. the one game they lost the Cavs literally had to put up a historical effort and had 49 in the 1st qtr and like 85 at the half (both playoff records) and finished with like 130 something. it took that much to just get one game from this OP team
