Indiana Pacers TRADE Pascal Siakam To The San Antonio Spurs? | NBA Trade Rumors
So, could the Indiana Pacers be trading away Pascal Seakkum to the San Antonio Spurs this 2025 NBA offseason? Well, here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fadeawayorld.net. The link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself. But this trade would see the San Antonio Spurs receiving Pascal Seakum, the Indiana Pacers receiving Nick Claxton, Jeremy Sohan a 2026 first and a 2027 first round pick, and the Brooklyn Nets receiving Devin Vel and a 2029 firstround draft pick. So, this would be an absolute blockbuster if it were to go down. Now, do I see a world where the Pacers move off of Pascal Seakkum as after they just lost Miles Turner earlier today uh to the Milwaukee Bucks? I I really don’t think that’s going to be in the cards for them. Uh Pascal Seakum was a very important player to the Pacers this past NBA playoffs. And he was one of the main reasons why they were able to reach reach the championship and fall short for one game. So, I think Pascal Seakum going to the Spurs here would be a great move for the Spurs. Maybe not a great move from the Pacers, but from the Spurs perspective, they’re getting back a superstar player in Pascal Seakum having kind of a big three next year of De’aran Fox. Pascal Seakum and Victor Wbeyama. That’s a pretty fun duo. Our pretty fun trio throwing Dylan Harper into the mix as well as Kellen Johnson. That’s a really good lineup. So, from the Spurs perspective, I like the fit of Pascal Seakum. From the Pacers perspective, they’re kind of getting a nice replacement at the center position in the form of Nick Claxton. Jeremy Sohan’s a pretty nice piece as well. Plus two future first round draft picks which they could either flip for some assets now or keep for their own, you know, use down the road. It’s truthfully speaking not a bad package all things considered with Seakum leaving. I like the return of Claxton uh as replacing Turner and Sohan um is a nice piece as well. And from the Nets perspective, they’re getting back Deon Vel and a 2029 first. So they’d be giving up Nick Claxton in this deal. But if they’re able to get back Devin Vel and a first round draft pick, I kind of like it at the end of the day, especially too with with the Michael Porter Jr. move happening a couple days ago. Now, if the Nets want to retool their roster a little bit, getting back Deon Vel, a good young talent plus draft capital is not a terrible way to go. So, if I had to rank this trade on who I like it for the most to the least, I would probably go with the Spurs one. I would probably go with the Pacers 2 and the Nets three. But, as always, leave your thoughts.
