Kevin Durant Boosting Rockets’ Future? Ticket & Truth Break Down KD’s Move To Houston
thoughts on the other dangerous.
You you shot that too. You shot that. That was one of the spots.
I’m starting to think you you part of the whole Adam Silver. So look, now you know I just be watching the games. You just looking for love four months ago. You found it. Now you back in the NBA room. You drinking caffeine again. Right. You know what I’m saying? Like you know what I’m saying? Right. Don’t right. You back on caffeine. I know what that means. Right. I mean, think nice. No, but what’s your thoughts on KD? You you shot that [Â __Â ] early.
I think uh it’s a good fit. You know what I’m saying? Like the best part about it is like EA over there. Like him under Eay cuz this is the best coach he didn’t play for since Steve Kerr. M
think about even though it didn’t work out in Phoenix and Brooklyn, look who he played with. He played with uh it was with Steve Nash who was like a young coach who was still learning
and Buddhahheiser just Coach B wasn’t really a good fit for him.
Uh and so now he get somebody who kind of like more of a firm leader who you know going to hold him accountable a little bit and
and it wasn’t deep teams he was on on those teams you talking about.
Yeah. That was too front heavy.
Yeah. I mean, it was just him and like four and a bunch of, you know what I’m saying? He
Everybody always be talking about Katie. They don’t he ain’t a leader and all this. Like, he is a leader, bro. Like, if I’m a young dude and KD’s in my practice, I’m watching KD’s work ethic, I can lead by example. He’s one of the like
he puts it in. He gets the work in. So, if I’m Amen. I’m I’m coming up working out with KD. I’m He going to lead by example. He getting in there early, late, whatever. getting his shots up and I’m from all them young dudes on the bench of Houston. He gonna inspire that.
They gonna have to raise their level and I could see that happening with him there. The young boys though on the perimeter too. Especially Houston got some over there cuz they kind of they kind of built like
under the radar.
OKC you know Sangon he going to be he a allstar already.
Hey man Thompson is on his way. Then you got uh then you got that other guard who going to get some minutes this year. Shepard’s going to play more Shepard E. They got pieces over there. Junior over there, Jabari.
Yeah, they didn’t really have to trade too many guys. And then
still got Steven Adams. That’s what I’m saying. The next question I have is,
is this done for them with the Rockets or do they go make another big splash because they have a ton of first round picks and they kept all their young players. So, could they make another trade or do you feel like they’re kind of staying pat right now? I think you gotta you gotta keep getting you gotta keep getting talent and you gotta have a solid ass bench. You can find a way to get one more
good veteran,
big veteran. I think they need cuz they like I guess they rotation is going to be KD at the four, Jabari. They going to place some minutes there. Jabari Amen. They got they got some versatility now, I think.
And they kept Fred Van Bleet. He restructured his deal and took a decent haircut to to keep the team competitive to go out and spend a little money.
Damn, he did. You went from 44 million next year to 25 million. Just had a 2-year deal at 50. These teams is all built to like like Minnesota built like Houston.
I said this.
You know what I’m saying? They all got them young pieces cuz now in Minnesota, that other young kid going to get he going to be playing back up. I feel like they got to give him some minutes this year.
Young kid, the Lagard from Guard from Kentucky. He got to get some minutes, too. Just like Reed Shepard got to get some minutes in Houston.
Just like Isaiah Joe got the minutes this year at OKC. You know, they got them little young dudes. I’m excited for next year with what’s happening. And now I’m wondering, you know, this is like chess. Now I’m trying to see. Now I’m over here looking like what’s Golden State going to do? They made it out. They made it to the second round and then Steph got hurt. They probably they probably if they get one more piece, they can they can junk everything up. The Lakers, if they get what they need a lot, though. The Lakers need a lot. I actually think the Houston trade for KD actually helps Houston’s younger guys. Uh to to concur what uh Paul said and add on, um when you have a player of this status, uh I don’t see KD coming in here talking a bunch. I don’t see him being the vocer leader that they think he should be like that.
But but what Paul say and I’ll use you for an example. I was a lot more vocal than bro, but we were both leaders. And when Paul spoke, everybody shut up because he ain’t one ain’t gonna say [Â __Â ] Two P like one of the old school [Â __Â ] He going to let you keep making the same mistakes to kill yourself. And then that’s when he going, “Hey man, why you keep you know what I’m saying? Me, I’mma try to, hey man, you you keep doing that. It’s a it’s a hole right here in you know what I mean?” So it’s all intentional. It’s all from a great place when we are being leaders. But some leaders like like my my my dog here, he going to go out and you going to see him just working. Then you going to see him go do weights and then you going to see him playing oneonone and then and you just going to be seeing him doing doing doing doing. He ain’t going to say [Â __Â ] right? And if you ain’t on that same time, it it it’ll do something to you cuz it’ll cuz he coming through with, you know, hey, get out the way. Hey, I’m right here. You know what I’m saying? If you ain’t on that same energy and and you ain’t soaking that up, guess what, man? You behind because everybody in here trying to get it. You know what I’m saying? But you see a [Â __Â ] come here, he first in here, he on the ladder, then off the ladder, he lifting weights, then he doing something with the trainer, then all a sudden he doing, bro, Paul ain’t got to say [Â __Â ] Paul’s doing it. So KD is on that same [Â __Â ] bro. I ain’t got to say [Â __Â ] Give I’m out here doing it. So yeah, I I I get what sound good and I get what what what looks good, but in the reality when you in the foxhole, man, the reality is is that everybody ain’t on the same accord. And you got to have your your best players be your best players for those moments to calm people down or to reassure because when it get here, yeah, it sound good like we was all here, but no, you threw the ball to me and then you ran to the corner and I knew exactly what that meant. So in that, you’re not trying to embarrass nobody, but yeah, he’s KD coming to the Rockets is not only security, but he’s bringing a level of confidence and yeah, we f to up the level in here, right? Because when a [Â __Â ] like this come to the locker room, he he ain’t playing, man. Listen, I just told you he made Von sit down. Now Von can’t get on the court. So how we looking at Von? So he go, “So what you going to do with Braun? Check up, [Â __Â ] You going to walk to the side and quit on us,
man?” There was It was doing us. And everybody who was watching it was like, “Sh,
man. He got to
And then we always look I hate to go here, but this is this is what it is, right?
Katie coming here when they start doing drills oneon-one and you don’t want to get down, man. Bro, that’s going to tell you. That’s going to tell the story.
He trying to see what’s in here,
right?
The young boys, he got he got in here.
A man, them twins going to be a problem in this league. Greeny ain’t going nowhere, man.
Already a problem.
Green, they already a problem. So, learning from this twotime champion, this MVP
coming in here with this confidence, seeing his shooting, seeing his arc, seeing his technique, seeing how he come in, how he work on his bag, how he work on his body. Man, this is what you want when you a young guy. Especially Amen and uh Junior
Jabari and Amen watching, bro. Man, this is this is this is their path. He good.
So, I see the effects of what it can be. But then you got to think about this side, egos. You know, just like Paul said, when the young kid Anthony come to Boston, he he can’t think that, yeah, I’m going to come in here and do get 20. No, let me come in here and learn these guys in this system in Boston because this ain’t Portland.
And when I’m missing the assignment here, it might be some repercussions or it might be a whole another, you know what I’m saying? So when you get to Houston, first thing KD, KD not winning a couple times. So he coming in here like, “Okay, look, when we play, this how y’all,” he on the same team Paul was.
Paul took Jeff Green and started wrestling Jeff Green. Jeff Green was like, “What’s going on?” He was like, “Yeah, I’m just trying to see what you going to look like when we get in the thick.” He was like, “Get in the thick?” Like, “Yeah, [Â __Â ] the thick. The thick. What you going to do with [Â __Â ] You know what I’m saying? And he didn’t get it until we got in the thick and he was in it and he looked at us like, “Oh yeah, this the thick.” Yeah, you in it. You in it, big fella. You fight fight fighting for your life
with Zebo. Yeah, you in it. You know what I’m saying,
right?
But not to be long-winded. I think this is great for Houston’s DNA and who they’re trying to with with eBay trying eBay trying to uh create this culture there. What’s the window? Three years.
Yeah, three years. Three years. And guess what? I think they get to a conference final in one of those cuz KD good enough to get you there. Gweenie good enough to Hey KD, you need a you know what I’m saying? Like they got pieces.
Fred Vanble another champion in the starting five,
right? And then nobody has him in those elements, right? And that’s who kills you. He he not hit a bunch of game winners. He’s solid. He not won. He’s been there. He’s proven. Bro, I like Houston.
Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce break down how trading for Kevin Durant will accelerate Houston’s growth. The duo highlight the impact of Ime Udoka, while emphasizing how Durant would complement the Rockets’ young talent and leadership. They’re not just talking fit… They’re talking foundation for a real championship run.

If KD can't become a better passer vs pressure/physicality, Rockets fans will be upset. And Ime is known for iso ball alot offensively, which with a turnover prone KD may make for bad recipe against teams that really guard
Rockets taking over. Know it. Love it.
Clint capela 4 points 5 rebounds
Said the same 💩 in Brooklyn and phoenix
I haven't heard KG or Pierce talking down on many people. I like the positivity and belief in the next generation of players.
Lebron coming to houston
We winning this ho3 this yr
Let’s go KG, from ‘Sota. What do you think Minnesota should do and how Ant will elevate his game.
Kd, we no you are a Reptilian, you ain't fooling me!!
I’m loving this pod more and more. I can’t with those other ones. KG didn’t thrive on TNT because he was being held in a box. Dudes like him need freedom to be unfiltered and authentic. They compliment each other so well; one stays hyped and the other low key.
Yo I'm tired of all these excuses for KD 😢 shyt I swear this new era NBA has every excuse in the book
Whonis greeny
One thing about KD if he doesn’t have a great supporting cast he will give you buckets, but not wins, look at the Suns the past few years and KD wasn’t leading them to nothing but suppose to be a top 10 player, he great at his craft, but not a team player when his team isn’t that great
I love KG–
Rockets healthy are going to be a problem next season 👀
One more veteran…DFS come on down.
PAUL GLASSES DIRTY AS FUCK
Yeah Leading by example! KD is a silent assassin for sure
I’m not expecting us to be first or second seed next year. I’m just hoping we get further in the playoffs.
Teams wasn’t planning for amen because he had a big year this year. They will be next year. So we need him to take that leap offensively while maintaining that intensity in defense
Tari has to do the same
Reed and cam will have more minutes they gotta show some consistent scoring off the bench they’ll not be on the scouting reports as much.
Kd will just need to stay healthy and be kd. Same with sengun
Rockets need sign Dam Lillard he perfect back court with Amen Thompson
Good to hear the good parts of the nba intead of the crying thst fans and the older players do
If the Rockets could get Damien being released from the Bucks. They will be on fire and I’m the running for Ship.
paul was probably talking bout cam whitmore
A non clown show thank the lord
Yeah… Houston guaranteed play-in team frfr 💯
The ticket speaking truth!
I do see the okc , detroit, build with vets, draft, and free agency, … it's beautiful.. the only thing is the culture between the players, and the bonds built aren't manufactured like curry's shot. What Shai does in the psyche of the locker room, mamba like, through the towelerviews
All this to stop bronny
