so we got a very very interesting trade coming out and it looks like the Denver Nuggets are going to be trading Michael Porter Jr and an unprotected 2032 first round pick to the Brooklyn Nets for Cam Johnson now honestly it was time to move on for Michael Porter Jr he’s a terrible defender very inconsistent in the postseason and in the regular season if his shots not hitting he’s not really really effective and I understand he had an injury this year but this is years after years after years and obviously with Denver Nuggets having a new head coach a new front office they want to go a new direction and get off that contract now they’re adding Cam Johnson which I would say they’re probably the same about when it comes to scoring you probably get a better defender than Cam Johnson because everybody’s better defender than Michael Porter Jr but the Nuggets had to give up a first that’s how you get off the contract cam Johnson last year about 18.8 points a game 4.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists cam Johnson has two years left but his cap hit is a little bit lower 21 mil and 23 compared to Michael Porter Jr i just see it’s about 38 and $40 million let me know in the comment section what you guys think and who won this trade

Huge trade for the nuggets. Johnson is a upgrade and frees up around 15mil in cap. Nuggets also got Bruce brown bc of that and now their bench is looking a lot better. This team overall just looks so mich better now
People say "X" player makes his teammates better all the time. Jok actually 100% does elevate teammates more than anyone in NBA history

Mpj has potential i mean when we won the finals he was playing great defense. He just hasnt improved and i think he doesnt play hardee cuz he doesnt want to get injured and hes not confident on dribbling. But hes crazy athletic and ur right very inconsistent. Wish him all thr best hope he develops more and becomes the dude with thomas in brooklyn.

This is a win-win, but denver now can afford 2 more rotational players which makes it huge for Denver . Denver is bringing the title back in 2026
If his Contract wasn't bad…MPJ might still be on the Nuggets — He was too inconsistent and inefficient.
They can resign Cam and Cbraun too after the upcoming Season
