Are the Chicago Bulls and Josh Giddey CLOSE on a Contract Extension? πŸ€ Noa Essengue News! πŸ‚πŸ”΄βš«

Welcome to another episode of just another year Chicago Bulls. My name is Philip Charles Van Haven the fourth and on this episode I have some Josh Giddy news some Noah Essen news and I’d like to wish you guys a happy 4th of July. If you’re excited for Noah Essen, hit that like button and should the Bulls pay Josh Giddy 30 $30 million a year uh throughout the course of his contract on average. I would love to know what you guys think. Just type Y for S or N for no. Or if you have a specific dollar amount, you could type that as well. If you’d like to enter our contest for a Chicago Bulls jersey, you could just like this video, comment wire n or anything else in the video and hit hit the subscribe button. We’ll be announcing a winner on July 6th. All right, so the Bulls and Josh Giddy are not close, unfortunately. A according to Bobby Marks of ESPN, the Bulls and Giddy are still quote the size of the Gulf of Mexico apart. Not really sure. I’m not sure if that’s there’s a joke somewhere in there, but for whatever that means. Uh they still aren’t close. Joe Collie actually added on to this uh right here. The Bulls and Josh Good Giddy are having good dialogue per source, but the Giddy camp is dug in on the Suggs contract. $30 million per year. Let the posturing continue. So, it’s not that it’s not really like a surprise that this is happening. It’s it was something that people did predict. If anything, it’s a surprise only because people thought that the Bulls were going to just pay Josh Giddy. Now, it makes me nervous. I don’t want to do the qualifying offer. If the Bulls and Josh Giddy don’t come to an agreement and Josh Giddy does not get a offer from another team, for anybody who doesn’t know, as a restricted free agent, what will happen is the Bulls will then sign Josh Giddy to his qualifying offer, which is like I can’t remember how much money it is. It’s not that much, but it’s one year. and then he becomes an unrestricted free agent next year. I don’t want anything to do with that. I do not want to be talking about Josh Giddy trade rumors. I don’t want to be talking about, oh, but he’s worth something at the deadline. Like, no, dude. No. I want this dude running the Bulls offense for the next 10 years. Uh, personal uh preference, but I So, I think that the Bulls are being smart. They’re both sides are in the right here. I want to be clear about that. Like even though we all want Josh Giddy to get resigned, the Bulls are doing what they’re supposed to do. They would not be doing we we would have to criticize them if they did not try to do what they’re doing now because Josh Giddy doesn’t have an offer from another team. So of course you’re going to try and come down on the price. But that being said, I still believe that Josh Giddy is going to get resigned. And to be honest with you, if his agents are as good as they seem to be, uh, he’s going to get that $30 million annual because I think that he impacts winning more than Jaylen Suggs, um, I think if that like that dollar amount is, I think, perfect for what Josh Giddy offers now and for, you know, going forward with his potential. So, you know, overall, I think that the Bulls and Josh are just doing their jobs. You know, there’s no need to panic. Uh I I know that some people uh tend to be impatient in these times and everything like that. I just say to you Bulls fans, be patient. I will say that I would not expect any splashy moves. Like unless we’re going to trade BC or PE will I which are both possible I guess but seeming more unlikely every day. I don’t think that there’s another big move on the cards. I think if anything else maybe bull maybe. We’ll see. But we did make we did make one move today but it was cheating because we already kind of had him. We uh signed Noah Essenay today. Uh the Bulls on the 4th of July go ahead went ahead and and signed the number 12 overall pick. And you know, just like I used these to campaign for Josh Giddy’s contract, I figured on the 4th of July, it was only uh appropriate if I campaigned for you Chicago Bulls fans to support Noah Essen and be patient for his progress as a player. I say this because he is only 18 years old. 18 years old Bulls fans. like he’s he was the second youngest player in the draft and you know not everybody is uh built like Cooper Flag. So, you know, I I’m I’m begging for patience from Bulls fans because this guy is going to take a minute. Like he’s not I think a lot of his contributions at first is going to be like hustle and in transition. Uh but as his game grows and his shot grows more consistent, I think this dude is I I’ve become a lot more of a fan of the pick. uh since the draft, like on draft night, I really really wanted a center and anybody that was with me uh could see that was obvious. Um so Noah SN was was a was a swerve for me, but it’s not a bad swerve. Like it makes sense. He’s young. He’s got tons of talent. He’s long. I mean, another 6’10 Ford next to 6’10 Matas Buselis uh in the future. That sounds awesome. And I think I heard somebody say that a high-end uh a high-end player comp for him is Pascal’s uh Siakum. Dude, that’s pretty like I’m on board then. Like when I heard that, I’m like, “Okay, if this dude has the potential to become that, then I see why we drafted him.” I mean, I I personally didn’t think that highly of him when I watched him, but I’m also not working for the NBA. And a lot of NBA teams had this dude like really high up on their draft board. So, I’m glad that the Bulls got the deal done. Welcome to Chicago, Noah. And uh like I tell everybody who gets drafted here, if you win in this city, you will be immortal. And I promise you that. There is not a better city in the world to win a championship in than Chicago. And I will never ever not believe that. That’ll do it for this episode of Just Know that you’re Chicago Bulls. I just wanted to throw uh something quick out here on this holiday for you guys. But I hope everybody has a very safe and uh fun holiday. And you know, make sure that you don’t blow any fingers off. Uh practice all that safety stuff. And any kids out there, make sure you’re letting your older uh siblings and parents and all that stuff light fireworks because they’re unpredictable, man. All right, that’s enough old fogy from me. My name is Philip Charles Vanderhaden, and I am seeing red more than ever, baby. Let’s go.

πŸŽ† Happy Fourth of July, Bulls Nation! πŸŽ†
On this holiday edition of Just Another Year Chicago: Bulls, host Philip Charles VanDerHeyden IV (@JAYCPhil) dives deep into one of the hottest free agency rumors of the summer β€” Josh Giddey resigning with the @ChicagoBulls!

According to Bobby Marks of ESPN and Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times, the Bulls are reportedly in serious discussions with the former Thunder playmaker. But how close – or not close – are they? PCV IV breaks it ALL down with signature passion and perspective only found on this channel.

BUT WAITβ€”that’s not all!

The Chicago Bulls have officially signed their first-round draft pick, Noa Essengue, on this Independence Day! At just 18 years old, Essengue becomes the youngest player on the Bulls roster and a true project with sky-high upside. Standing at 6’10” with a 7’3” wingspan, the Cameroon-born forward played last year for the NBA Global Academy, where he averaged 13.7 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game against international elite-level competition. His motor, length, and raw athleticism have already drawn comparisons to defensive anchors like Nic Claxton and Jaren Jackson Jr. Could the Bulls have found their future starting forward alongside Matas Buzelis?

In this episode, PCV IV gives his unfiltered thoughts on both the Giddey negotiations and the official signing of Essengue. What’s the Bulls’ strategy here? Is this the start of a youth-driven rebuild, or just more front office misdirection?

Light up your grill, kick back, and let Just Another Year Chicago: Bulls give you the spark you need on this July 4th.πŸ”₯
