WOW! The Raptors did make a Free Agency signing today after all Sandro Mamukelashvili @ 2 yr./5.5mil
[Music] Good morning, Raptor Freaks. Lexi Oats here. It’s Wednesday and we’re doing a wow Wednesday and I’m wowing because the Raptors actually did get a free agent signing yesterday. I was saying yesterday in the morning and they made me a liar. They’re not going to do any free agent signing because they ain’t got no money. Raptors fans, so chill out. And I was wrong. They have 5.5 million over the next two years for Sandro. Uh, let me say this right because I want to respect him, right? Mamu Kellashi. Mamu Kellashi. Sandro Mamu Kellashi. Sandro Mamu. That’s right. Sandro from Milwaukee Bucks, San Antonio Spurs. Uh, before is a fantastic pickup. Very, very happy with this pickup. It’s very, very smart. And also maybe even more important yesterday, the Raptors extended Yakob Purle’s contract to 2030, guys. Yeah, this is really good because in some ways YaKob was going to be coming up on, you know, the end of his contract and everybody’s going to speculate and be stupid and say all kinds of stuff. Tie that up quick before that and they did. And YaKob had really amazing things to say about ressigning with Toronto on this extension. I’m very happy here. I love this team that I’m on. There’s things that they we built with this team and the things that we’re doing is so much fun and I’m enjoying it. Well, you had your career year last year, my guy. And honestly, you can build from it. You can build from it. So, so happy to see YaKob happy and if YaKob is happy, I’m happy. And uh you know, a lot of people are happy that YaKob Purle is locked down for the next four years at least with the Raptors. That’s fantastic news. That’s really good news. So, it was a good news day yesterday on Canada Day for the Raptors. Not necessarily a good news day in general around the world, though. Let’s just put it that way. Trevor Jay is here first. Good morning to the Commissioner of Fund, Trevor J. Life has a funny way of presenting itself. Some days you are up, some days you’re down. So, never look down on someone because what goes around comes around. Yeah. I mean, that was something that uh was a word of wisdom in recent times is like don’t ever look down on someone or like make fun of them because you could be in their position in the future and it’s you just don’t want to do that. Yeah. Yeah. It’s you know what it’s best in this this really weird crazy world we’re living in right now to be a very caring uh humanistic person that goes beyond ordinary boundaries of being helpful to each other. That’s just the best way to be right now. Because in some ways, your benevolence and your kindness is put out more. It’ll be influenced that direction. And that’s what I’m saying. If you ought to hold the door for somebody today to help them get into somewhere, do it. If you want to be like Trevor and help somebody out with their groceries, do it. You know, whatever you can do to help. This is one thing I realized recently that I could do to help people that is totally unselfish. I don’t have to do, but I’m going to do it from now on, is I live out here in the country now, and there’s a lot of farmers that live near me, and they drive big, heavy farm equipment on the road. And because of an increase of people living out in the farmlands, there’s more dangerous things for farmers driving tractors on country roads because there’s way more traffic. And farmers actually been pulled and said one of the most stressful things in their lives as farmers these days is the increase in traffic. and having to maneuver big huge heavy machinery out on country roads that were used to be a lot more desolate and not so many people driving out there. Well, people are moving out of the city. People have been coming out here like I have and there are a lot more people on the road. Well, my truck is a yellow truck and it looks like a an emergency truck. My friend Chris Pizza Chris says, “Your truck looks like a construction truck, Lex.” Like, yeah, it does kind of Chris, you’re right. So, I’ve decided that if I come upon any heavy farm machinery ahead of me in the road, I’m not going to go around it anymore. I’m going to get behind it and drive like I’m a pilot vehicle and be a blocker for their running back. That’s right. I’m going to be a protective blocker. I’m going to slow people down. I’m going to put my emergency lights on and I’m going to ro drive quietly and patiently behind the person to allow them space and some safety in space away from maybe other aggressive drivers. So, I don’t know. I’m going to try and do that. I’ll be a pace car for the farm equipment behind them so nobody’s running up on them stressing them out. It’s little things like that, guys. It’s not going to hurt anybody. It’s going to help them and make them have a little bit of stress. It’s like just get out of yourself and try and think of other people for once and how you can help them. So yeah, I’m going to start doing that. If I see a big huge combine coming down the road, I’ll drive behind it and put my uh emergency lights on just to give it a little bit of space. That’s right. There you go. Trevor J saying that the Fever won the Commissioner Cup last night. Boston and Howard both double doubles. Yeah, Caitlyn Clark’s hurt and she’s not a able to play and uh the Fever teammate stepped up in her place and won the game. Hm. Too bad another Indiana team couldn’t do this. Your star player is out. Your superstar is out. And well, you rallied to win for your team still. Good job, Indiana. I wish y’all had just done this a couple weeks ago, honestly, Pacers. But yeah, Fever, congratulations. I I don’t know what this means. This is in seasonason tournament uh championship. This is not the WNBA championship, but you go ahead and celebrate. Every league has two championships now. Is that just what it is? Either way, I’m mad because th those Boston’s on my fantasy team and I didn’t get none of the stats for last night. They didn’t count any of the Commissioner Cup stats to our fantasy WNBA team. And I’m I’m pissed. I wanted my good Fever players that I have, Kelsey Mitchell and Aaliyah Boston. And I wanted my points for their output last night, but alas, no points added to the Raptor Freak WNBA Fantasy League last night. It’s too bad, man. Uh Trevor saying yach four more years and we got a big man yesterday. Yeah. Sandro mama mama mama mamu mamu. This is the thing. You know it’s a good sign that a player’s good for two things. You hate him before he comes to your team. Yeah. I do not like Sandro. I have called him Mamaluke. I’ve made fun of him in the past and been very wrong for it. But that’s because uh I respect his game and he pisses me off because he’s such an active uh difference maker and uh in some ways that’s a good sign that I I didn’t like this guy before he came here because he was annoying. You know, that’s always a good sign. I was like, man, that’s going to be great. Now he’s on our team. Now he can be annoying to the other teams and annoy fans of other teams. Yeah. Welcome, Sandro. I’m very happy to see you come here because I’ve been annoyed by you in the past and I know you’re going to annoy our enemies of other teams that we’re playing now. The other thing that’s a good sign about Sandro is that the Spurs nation absolutely loves him. They’re they’re very upset about this guys. Honestly, they are they’re upset about this and him coming to Toronto. And uh also Bucks Nation has immense respect for him also from his time with them before San Antonio. So, that’s always a good sign when a player is a fan favorite and uh fan nations actually really care about them and, you know, wish them well and uh they become kind of like a cult cult favorite. You know what I’m saying? I think Sandro is that kind of player, guys. The one thing I noticed because I did just do a scout on Sandro again. I watched all his highlights from last season uh on the Spurs and uh yeah, there were a couple of highlights against the Raptors, including one in the game I went to at the end of the season with Adriana when we went and saw San Antonio play here in Toronto without WBY. Uh the thing about Sandro is he’s very high level IQ. Like he’s very good basketball IQ. The he’s an anticipator. He sees how things are developing on the floor and he’s moving ahead of time to get there. The other thing is he doesn’t give up on plays, which is crazy. You know, it may very well be it seems like the play is over, but he’s coming through and swooping in uh after the initial play is over. And often he finds gold for that. Whether it’s an extra block to stop the other team who got the ball back off of an offensive rebound all of a sudden, whether it’s him anticipating a pass that’s coming to a certain area of the uh the court, he uh is able to telegraph passes just like our guards do and get in the passing lane and run the game back in transition against our opponent. Another thing that I saw him do in this highlight reel that was really really impressive to me was, and this is something I want the Raptors to get smarter about in general, because last year they weren’t exactly good on this, is getting the ball away from the defenders on the on the on when they have the ball. You guys stop going hard at two or three defenders and taking the ball in the area where the defenders are. And this is the way that I saw this with Sandre was the play was he was on the offensive boards and he had three uh of the opposing team’s players around him. And what did he do? He could have easily tried to get the ball and push it back up with the three guys around him. No, he telegraphed ahead of time before the ball came to his hand that he needed to tip it out. And he just basically didn’t even look where he was going. He just loo he flipped it over his head. He didn’t grab it or touch it. He tipped it. and there were three defenders all around him. He recognized at that time that he was in a high density defensive area and it wasn’t the right move for him to go up. So, the right decision was tip the ball out and Julian Champeni caught the ball on the outside and hit a three completely wide open. I feel like the Raptors as a team overall have to look for where the defense’s density is and go away from it. We have such a talented offensive team now with Brandon coming in and even Sandro. Listen, Sandro is a very talented offensive player and he’s going to be able to help us with some scoring. Uh we need to go and find the areas of the court on our offense where nobody is from the other team. That’s where the shots are found. The wideopen Grady did corner three. Oshai Aabaji hitting a three here. You know, all that kind of stuff comes from recognizing the density of where the defense is on the on their side and going away from it and Sandro having the wherewithal and not selfish to tip the ball to Julian Chimpeni when he’s crowded by the other team. That’s what I want to see more on the Raptors. So, those are a couple things. He’s annoying. He’s good shot blocker. He’s a pretty good passer for a center, too. And he can hit the three. So, there’s a lot to like here. And the more I analyze the Sandro Mama U deal yesterday with the Raptors, it’s smart. I mean, I get it now, Bobby. I get it. I get it. And Messiah, I’m still going to say Messiah from time to time. I love you, Messiah. [ __ ] you, Keith P. [ __ ] you, Ed Rogers III. Messiah forever. uh that you guys had a philosophy and have a philosophy still with Bobby that you don’t want to invest time in a a very green right off the bat uh big man that you know Shamsh is the exception. Shamshay is the special project. We just wanted to get him right from the start because somebody he was going to be highly valued. He would have gone high in this draft guys this year. He would have been high in this draft. I’m trust me he would have been mid first round this year. Shamshay uh that uh you know most of the time it’s smarter for the Raptors to let big men have their early uh tough years awkward uh on other teams. It’s almost like you know they always do this to us. Oh, develop them up in Toronto. We’ll steal them when they’re ready. Well, we do it the opposite with centers. And what it is is like we don’t want to go through the awkward period where the center is too slow learning the speed of the NBA. uh learning how NBA offenses and defenses work. We don’t want to go through the liability period where the the center is going to make a ton of mistakes and we saw that with Christian Koko as a rookie on our team. He was great in certain ways, but he had some real flaws to his game also and we were playing in tough ways with him. Now, you know what you do? You wait for a guy like Sandro who’s been in the league for like three or four years and then they’re they’re tested. They’re a playoff. They’re a NBA tested player that knows how to play everything in the NBA. And that’s smart. And look at how much we got them for. Two and a half million uh each year. That’s nothing. That’s nothing. So, it’s it’s really smart. And you can look at guys in the last couple years like Bruno Fernando, Wancho Hernand Gomez, and now Sandro Mamu. Uh as this kind of players where the Raptors aren’t trying to waste time on developing a very, very young center. Let’s go ahead and grab young centers that have about two or three years in the league and let them come in and supplement things. So, it’s a fantastic signing. I’m really happy with it, honestly. And Sandro is really all about coming to Toronto, too. Uh I don’t He never played with Yakob, but he did play with RJ. This is the interesting thing. Sandro Mamu is a went to Mont Verde, guys. He’s a Mont Verde guy, but he was there when R.J. was there. And him and R.J. were high school teammates and they’re actually good friends. So, this is a really good thing uh for a couple reasons. Sandro’s got a good friend and R.J. on the team already. And you know what? It’s always good when we’re putting people that have connections with people on our team to show that like maybe there’s signs that we do really value this person be around. That may have been an added benefit. Bobby is thinking about when he signed Sandro yesterday, he’s like, “Well, he was high school teammates with R.J. that’s a really good uh thing for R.J. this year for fun. He’s got IQ around. He’s got AJ around. He’s got Sandro around. These are all RJ guys. R.J. guys. Bmpton, New York Knicks best friend and high school friend on the team with him. And I want more built around saying that we value R.J. and we want R.J. on this team because Raptors Reddit and other places are going crazy with RA RJ trade rumors and that’s just the haters inflaming something that they want that we don’t necessarily want guys. So don’t carry that baton from them. Don’t relay that message about RJ Barrett being trade baitm. No, no, no, no, no. and Sandro Mamu getting signed to our team in some ways is uh against the argument that the Raptors are trying to to uh shop RJ Barrett around. That’s right. There you go. Uh Trevor saying Bucks still have to cover Dame for the next five years. One point 117 million and he can sign with another team. Yeah, that’s crazy. Yeah, they’re stretching him out. This is a really unconventional thing. So, some people in the NBA are saying that it’s very dangerous and just kind of like a bad president. But, uh, it sounds like everybody involved wanted this. Leard wanted it, Giannis wanted it, the management of the Bucks wanted it, and Miles Turner in the end kind of wanted it at the end. I think that’s the most shocking part of it. It’s not that Lillard got waved, it’s that Miles turned his back on Pacers Nation and went to a a rival team in the Bucks. This isn’t like this is you guys got to understand this is such a turncoat move in some ways uh that it’s just inexplicable to me. I don’t understand it. I don’t understand it at all. I mean, we can talk about it all right now. Let me just say what it is. It’s Tyrese. Tyrese is at the fault for this. And it’s not even his fault. He got hurt. If Tyrese Hallebert hadn’t gotten hurt and he would be out this season, they would have signed Miles Turner back in Indiana. But because the Indiana owners are cheap, they don’t want to go into luxury tax spending unless they are going for a championship. And they’ve already waved the white flag on next season because Hallebertton’s looking like he’s going to be out a majority of the season. That one thing changed everything right there. It’s crazy because Hallebertton getting hurt hurt them so bad. It hurt them in the last game of the finals and it’s hurting them now because they just lost a decadesl long player that played for their franchise that I don’t even get this man. Miles, you should have just told your agents, I don’t care. I don’t want to do this. I want to stay in Indiana. This doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. It’s more money, Miles. Okay, I can get more Lego. All right, we’ll go. It’s crazy. So, Tyrese gets hurt. The Indiana Pacers are not a favorite for next year without Hallebertton. And uh the Pacers owners get cheap and they say, “All right, well, we can’t do Miles now because we’re not going to be running for the championship next year because Hallebertton is hurt.” That’s the whole thing right there. So, what happens? Milwaukee gets opportunist. Milwaukee understands, oh, maybe uh Miles Turner can’t be there anymore. Maybe we can figure it out. I also think, and this is a side u theory, conspiracy theory, that the NBA was scared out, scared the hell of the Pacers getting so close to win the championship. The Seakum getting so high up and so such prominence and such a claim that scared the hell out of them. So, in some ways, you know, the NBA, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were manipulative as the league and uh fostering this deal for Miles Turner to go to Milwaukee because it absolutely in some ways hurts the Pacers to the point where they are not going to be anywhere near the NBA finals for sure. Some people idiots in our Discord arguing about Miles Turner and why he went. I’m going to tell you right now, you got to stop having opinions, Jillian, because you are not informed. You were talking out of your ass and honestly, you’re wasting our damn time on the Discord. I’m just sick of it. I am so sick of you just coming in and saying random [ __ ] that has no basketball IQ behind it that it has absolutely no thought in it and you’re just spouting [ __ ] And the other problem is you’re pirating a lot of [ __ ] people from other places that we don’t want to hear from either. So yeah, Jillian, just shut up, please. I don’t even care if you’re mad at me for this. And I know you’re not watching me because obviously you are not uh adhering to some of the rules of the Discord server that I would like people to do. But anyway, I’m just saying the the whole thing is it hurts Indiana. As much as people think, oh, he wasn’t consistent in the finals. Uh he’s not a player that the the Pacers need anymore. [ __ ] [ __ ] This is 10 years built up. There’s a loyalty to this. And once again, I’m going to say it. Milwaukee and Indiana are Central Division foes historically for like 50 years. 50 [ __ ] years of a rivalry. And now Miles Turner is going to be wearing the rivals uh jersey against them. Now we’re speculating to fill this void that maybe the Pacers can get DeAndre Aton on the cheap, but we’re hearing that Aton might go to the Lakers also. But yeah, they need a center. That’s the thing. The Pacers are now very much without a five. They barely had a five when they had Turner. Now they don’t have a five at all. So in some ways this Miles Turner move smacks a me of the NBA very happy because the Pacers are done. They’re going to be getting to this finals and they’re not going to go anywhere next year. Watch. And that sucks, man. Because I do love Pascal and I do want him to get more prominence like he did in this f uh finals run and uh you know get more acclaim and get more respect. So yeah, this Miles Turner thing is weird, man. It’s totally weird. It’s shocking in some ways. I wouldn’t have called it. I think that it’s a mistake. I think that even if the Indiana Pacers weren’t wanting to go in, they were being cheap is basically what it is. This is what happens when you go cheap. They didn’t feel like they had the chance to compete next year because the Hallebertton’s hurt. God, it’s crazy, man. It’s crazy. Now, Lillard is interesting. And there’s a lot of murmurss that he will finally now get his chance to go to Miami where he wanted to go the whole time. And I could see this happening. I mean, everything that’s happening with this this situation is what the NBA wants. Miami is at a weakened state with kind of a a lower starred quality team at this point. And uh well, it’s very likely Dame Time’s going to South Beach and he’ll be down there with that team. And that’s where he wanted to go in the first place. The two years of Milwaukee in some ways it is like one year Toronto for Kawaii. It’s in between the place where he actually wanted to go in the first place. Yeah. Lillard was not upset about them cutting him. I don’t think he liked being in Milwaukee in the least. Honestly, the whole idea of him being with Giannis, well, once again, that’s fool’s goal. And I said that at that time it wouldn’t work. You guys can go and check the tapes. The day that Dame Lillard was going to Milwaukee from Portland, I said it was a mistake and I was right. And uh that’s the thing. And this the whole two years he was there and for the most part was a failure. Sure, you got an inseason tournament championship. That’s it. But does that even count? I don’t know. Yeah, I guess it does. But still, other than that, you know, it’s he didn’t look happy the whole entire time he was on Milwaukee. And it really didn’t work. Honestly, in theory, everybody can say, “Oh, that’s the player I’d most like to play with in this league, Giannis. Oh, I’d love to play with you, Dame.” But that doesn’t mean that it works. That you could think that it works. That’s why I tell people don’t get dazzled by pairings like Luca and LeBron. It doesn’t mean it works. That’s the whole thing. And Lillard and and an Ampto did not work. That’s the truth. And you would think from everything, oh yeah, that’ll work. That’ll be fantastic. No, sometimes things just don’t work in the real world. And it’s kind of crazy. Uh James is here. Good to see Raptor Freak. James Sandro is a good cheap signing. Opens up the floor for Ingram, Scotty, and R.J. Yeah, he does a couple of great things. I mean, he’s a good screener. He’s a He’s a good floor spacer. He’s a He’s a very active player that doesn’t he he’s very all over the place. I was learning about him. He’s from Georgia, guys. And uh there’s not many NBA players from Georgia. His mentor is Jaza Pulia, of course, from before. And uh you know, Sandro is interesting, man. He was actually born in New York, but he did go back to Europe and was raised in his formative years over in Georgia. And uh yeah, he’s a very not a common kind of player. Him and a Austrian Yaka Purle are similar in some ways because they’re kind of representing their countries solely for the NBA in some ways, especially Yaka being the only Austrian ever in the history of the NBA. But uh there’s not a lot of Georgian players that have played in the NBA. And that’s why it’s special for Sandro. Of course, coming to Toronto is fantastic for him because we are an international multicultural city that has probably a very strong Georgian community. And that that’ll allow for him to have some of the the creature comforts of home as far as the food and possibly people that are doing activities and things that he could find back at in Georgia. So, it it’s a it’s a great fit. It’s an international player. He he checks off a lot of the boxes of what we needed and he’s in the right price. That’s good GM work by Bobby Webster. And that’s what the the press are saying today is that uh well Messiah may be gone, but this move that we made yesterday is very Messiahike and in his philosophies and Bobby is carrying on the legacy. Yeah, that’s what we want to hear. We want to see stuff like this. It was a very smart move and I was surprised. I seriously didn’t think the Raptors were going to make a move, but they did. They didn’t just make those two moves. They went made another move yesterday in uh uh waving Jared Rhoden. Jared Rhoden got waved. There were signs of this happening because of a couple of things. Jared got really a lot better last year. No denying it. In some ways, he is an NBA player. I don’t think he is a G-League player and I think that he should be in the NBA. He’s that good. And part of it was that Jarro Rooden just added a lot of muscle to his arms and his shoulders and got way stronger last season. And in some ways, he can credit being around the Raptors for that in some ways because it didn’t happen in the years before. Uh but Jared got hurt at the end of the season. It was kind of tough. Now, the two ways are switchable. And this is good because we need this two-way to be open as a reward for somebody at Summer League. That’s the thing right here. Now, Chucky’s on one of them. Chucky Hburn and uh Yaka Pro. I call him Chucky Weapner. I don’t know why. Chucky Heburn and uh uh uh Shamshay are the two two-ways right now, but this could be a two-way going to AJ Lawson or Colin Castleton now or an unknown player that just does so badass at uh Summerly. So, we’ll just have to see how it all shakes out. But I’m sad to see Roden go. But I will say this that the signs that he was going to have to go were there because he wasn’t with the the guys this weekend. He was not in Canada last this past weekend when everybody’s doing orientation with the new rookies coming in. That’s not showing a commitment. Now whether it’s because he’s hurt and he’s away, whatever it is, you know, the Raptors have waved him today and that may be why because he just didn’t report and that’s that. And I’m not upset about it because in some ways this makes it a lot easier for AJ Lawson to stay a Raptor. Let’s just put it that way. AJ Lawson and Jared Rhoden were teammates and they’re badasses, both of them, in their own ways, but we want our Canadian content. I said this already this week. Don’t get I said it actually yesterday. I said, “Cut uh cut Jar Rooden or give the two-way to AJ Laws and switch it.” That’s what I want them to do. We’ll see if that is what eventually happens or AJ just gets a spot uh straight up or he gets the two-way and sticks around on the Raptors. We want Lawson on this team, Bobby Webster. So, make it happen somehow. If AJ’s doing the work and he’s showing up and he’s very enthusiastic and he’s passionate about being a Toronto Raptor, that’s priceless. That’s the thing. When you got people like RJ and AJ on our team that absolutely are doing it for the city, that’s priceless. And in some ways, you need to respect that kind of factor in a player’s heart for why they take the court. And I’ll say that again and again because, you know, AJ Lawson’s going to go all out for the Toronto Raptors. You know, he is. And in some ways, he’ll go all out for the Toronto Raptors in a different way than Jared Rhoden. I I wish Jared Rhoden all the best. I really do hope that Jared gets on a full-fledged NBA team this year. And you know, if he’s going to be a little bit of a Raptor killer against us because he’s salty because he got waved yesterday, well, so be it. But either way, I like you, Jared, and I want you to kick a lot of ass. And I only wish good things for you, man. I really do. James is saying, “If Pearl goes down with an injury, he can hold down the fort.” Yes. Yes. This is a suitable backup big for um uh Yakob. He may be the most suitable we’ve had because Kelly had his faults. Kelly’s pretty good. Fernando, no, this guy’s way better than Fernando. And uh the thing about it is he’s already had tests of being a starter in his career. He’s had to be a starter for the Bucks and spot duty at times. And he definitely had to do that with the Spurs the last two years, too. There were times where Sandro would be in the starting lineup. It wasn’t a big deal. So I yeah, this is great insurance for this and it he suffices exactly the needs that we want and we get with him. So I’m very very happy with the Sandro signing and it’s great that it’s for two years too. It’s not like a one and done. We’re going to have him around for two years in a row. And having center stability with two guys locked down like Yakob and Sandro is really good peace of mind. And Spurs fans, I know you love these guys. It’s just like our RJ and Quick, you know, Knicks fans still pine for them. Well, Spurs fans, we got some of your big men up here, and I know y’all still love them. You love your Yak. You love your Sandre. So, hey, Spurs fans, I have y’all as my West Coast team. You’re my Western Conference number one favorite team, San Antonio. I root for you guys heavy. I’ve been Spurs Nation since the 80s. You guys can go ahead and be Raptors Nation, too. You can make the Raptors your East Coaster Eastern team and we’ll let’s be uh brothers brother sister or brothers teams or cousins teams or friends teams. Let’s do it. Spurs DAP. Yeah, we make deals with each other all the time. You’re the one of the few franchises that deals with the Raptors openly and easily and we appreciate you guys for it. And I only want more championships for you guys just like for us. Weama. Yeah, I love that guy. He’s awesome. He’s a He’s going to Buddhist monk monastery and uh he’s shaved his head and the dude’s just a great young man. He gets it and I’m very very proud of Victor on your team and I’m so glad he’s on your team and I’m rooting for you guys to kick some ass this year. I really am. I love you Spurs and we love Sandro and we’ll take care of him good up here. I promise you Spurs nation. All right. I promise y’all. Yeah. Let’s keep going. Trevor saying Indiana’s funds. Uh funds. What? Indiana funds. What is that? This is weird. Where are these little Oh, he’s got a little emblem on there. These are weird. All right. I’m g have to see what’s up with this. All right. Uh, Indiana Funds supposed to feel mad after Bucks get miles. Oh, fans. You’re trying to say fans. Is that your accent, Trevor, when you read it in there? Indiana’s funds. Funs. Yeah, I get that. That could be your accent. It’s their fans supposed to feel mad at. Yeah, they’re going to be mad. I would be mad. This is crazy. In some ways, he’s Mr. Pacer. like they’re used to accustomed to him being on their team for 10 years. In some ways, it don’t make no sense. The man finally got to the finals with the Pacers and now he’s walking away. That’s crazy to me. He pined for 10 years on the Pacers and horrible years. All kinds of crazy [ __ ] Mediocre, horrible, just barely this, not getting anywhere, and then finally gets somewhere and then he’s going to turn his back and walk away and go to Milwaukee of all places. That’s a lot to handle from an Indiana Pacers fan, honestly. And the it’s and the it’s not only that he’s walking away. It’s kind of like they’re they’re seeing that their team that they just had that got so far has crumbled apart already and they didn’t even win the championship. You know, it’s not like Kawawaii signing with the Clippers to us, but it is in some ways, guys. It’s not like it, but it is. It’s kind of like a death nail to their team and how far they got this year. I hate to say that. Now, if they improve the position, if they get DeAndre Aton, can they trust him? I don’t think they can, but that would help them a lot immensely. And they do probably need to get Aiden right away, even though Portland just waved him or cut him because he’s he’s exactly what we thought he is. He doesn’t show up for practice on time. He kicks chairs. He’s a bad malcontent on a team and just a toxic player in this league. And that’s why in some ways if you’re going to get DeAndre Aton, he’s fool’s gold because you can’t trust him. You can’t trust him to be there when the pressure’s high. And you can’t trust him to be a good person around your team. Why would you want toxic DeAndre Aton on your team? Well, if you can’t get a center and that’s the only one you can get. That’s why in some ways I kind of hope DeAndre goes the Lakers because uh in some ways he’ll be exactly what that is on that team. And you know what, Lakers Nation, you’d love that on your team. I bet you would. DeAndre Aton. Yeah. That’s crazy, man. It is crazy, man. Of course, Indiana fans are pissed off. They just went from the highest of highs and running all the way to game seven in the finals, failing, and now their team has lost their longtime center. And that that is messed up, man. I’m telling you right now, I feel for y’all, Pacers Nation. Y’all had a fantastic year. Savor that at least and enjoy the future with Seakum still. And we’ll just have to see what your team does. But your owners are cheap and that’s why this happened. And Tyrese got hurt. That’s right. James is saying now we got a couple of snipers. Grady Battle and Sandro. Yeah, we got to remember Quake’s a sniper, too. You know, RJ’s got a good three-point shot, too. And man, that clip I saw Scotty shooting corner threes this week. He’s going to get his shot back better next year. I’m telling you, man. Scott had a hurt hand most of this whole entire year and his three-point shooting suffered for it. And that’s why a lot of casuals are saying he’s he wasn’t doing any good. Well, he had a step back with his three-point shooting this year for sure, but it was more because of injury, not because he got worse. Is he was trying to work around a broken finger that he had. He pretty much had a sprained or broken finger for a huge chunk of the season, like for three quarters of it almost. And that’s definitely going to hurt your three-point percentage. So, I wish casuals would understand this. It’s not an excuse. And he never made light of it. They never talked about it openly during the season too much, but everybody kept saying, “What’s wrong with Scotty? What’s wrong with Scotty? You can’t look at his finger and see it’s taped together. You can’t look and see when he hit his hand on the rim. He grimaced and held his hand.” I don’t know what to tell y’all Raptors fans. You ain’t watching as closely as me, then if you can’t understand why Scotty’s three-point shooting was bad last year. Yeah, he’s going to come back his hands healthy and he’s going to show all y’all that he is a badass three-point shooter and y’all are going to be like, “Oh [ __ ] [ __ ] Raptor streak was right.” And Scotty is a badass. That’s right. That’s right. Y’all get used to saying Rapriga is right. Get used to it. Seriously. Seriously. All right, let’s keep going. Trevor saying, “So, I guess Chris is gone.” Yeah. Sadly, this is probably right. The money’s just not there. There’s not a whole lot of money. But it’s not even just the money at this point. There’s roster spots are filling quick. We’ve got one roster spot left. And it’s because we cut Roden. Really, they want to keep flexibility and openness just to move things around. And that’s part of the reason why they added Sandro and they cut Jared because now they have a two-way spot that’s open and Chris ain’t getting no two-way spot. I’m really kind of scared for Chris honestly because in some ways he’s in that category with Gary Trent Jr. That’s the thing. You know, Chris may have made like 12 13 million a year a couple years ago or on this contract he just finished, but the middle class in this league has been squeezed out and Gary Trent Jr.’s contracts with Milwaukee are a huge symbol of this. Unfortunately, Chris is in this category with Gary. He’s not a superstar at the top that’s just uh getting all the best things for it. This really is the rich got richer in this NBA and the middle class has suffered. And unfortunately, Chris is in that middle class. So, what they’re trying to sus out with Chris right now is price and what how much he can get. He wants to get the absolute most, but I don’t know which teams out there are going to have what and how much. But yeah, it’s not gonna be the Raptors, guys. I’m pretty sure that Trevor’s right. Chris is probably gone, guys. And that’s sad, but we wish him well. And and I hate that the fact that he’s he’s a he’s got the same problems as Gary Trent Jr. basically that that part of the NBA, that that class of players in the middle like that, they’re just not getting the compensation they’re due in the right kind of way right now because of the salary cap structure and the collective bargaining agreement. It’s just a little bit different now. Now, I don’t know what this is. You guys got like king number one. Wow. You guys are getting points for like being uh on the channel, I guess, experience points. So, we have top fans. Neil is the top fan right now. He’s number one. Seymour’s number two. Fiercy is number three. Cool is number four. And Kareem Thomas is number five. Those are our top five fans on the channel right now. So, I see you, Blackhawk. Number one fan of the Raptor streak channel. Look at that. Number one, baby. Number one. I don’t know how you get these points or how you go up, guys. But I guess we have a new competition that I didn’t even know existed. Top fans is what they’re doing here now. Yeah, Neil’s saying that yes, Sandro opens the floor, but he doesn’t protect the rim. His defensive rating needs improvement. It’s going to have to ha have to be help defense to hide his flaws. Well, that’s the way it is with everybody. I mean, R.J. needs help defense to hide his flaws. Emanuel needs help defense to help his flaws. It’s just how it is. Luckily, we have a very defensiveoriented team. We really do. It’s crazy the defenders we just drafted along with the defenders we had last year. We are a nasty team. We’re not Nobody’s gonna want to play us coming up. Seriously, nobody’s gonna want to play the Raptors, right? Uh coming up this year, this You remember how it was a couple years ago with Nick and the way he was turning? We were like called terrorists and our defense was just so annoying. Well, we’re going to be like that again this year. We were kind of already that last year, but this is going to be taken to a whole other level with Murray Boils and Elijah coming in. I’m going to tell you right now, even Chucky, because all three of those guys get steals like crazy. Elijah Martin himself is annoying. Like, he’s such a strong little quick guy that he can really annoy people in major ways, guys. You’re going to see it this year. Elijah Martin of Florida, he is annoying. And Colin Murray Bulls is a very very high intelligent defensive player. So that’s the thing. Our defense is going to be fantastic. Sandro, this is the thing. You may think this Blackhawk, but I don’t believe you right now. I don’t think that you’re saying he doesn’t protect the rim. That’s [ __ ] because you know what he does. And he does it two ways. He does it with shot blocking. He’s a very good shot blocker. In fact, he sometimes is better not in between the defender and the basket. He’s better behind the defender and the ba and the baskets. He’s already the basket. He comes and gets them from behind. He if a guy’s coming up and he thinks they got the shot all of a sudden Sean Sean Sandro’s showing up and blocking the shot from behind him. The other thing that I noticed about Sandro is he takes up space. He may not get off the ground, but he’ll widen his body with his arms and his legs. Then he’ll take up space right up underneath the basket. And if there’s a offensive player coming near him to try and score, he will styy them just by being bulky and being in the middle and putting arms in different places like and they’ll miss their shots. And he didn’t even leave the ground by jumping or anything. So there are aspects of him defensively that are perfectly fine. I mean, I don’t know where you got your information on this. I watched this highlight. He’s blocking shots like crazy. He’s given se second and third effort to come and block shots. I don’t I don’t know what you’re saying here. I don’t see him as being a defensive weak link. That’s just that’s crazy talk. He’s actually a really good defender. Yeah. Uh Neil’s saying that look to the rookies to raise the defense. Yeah. Scotty Scotty’s going to raise the defense. Scotty is the the most important defender on our team because he’s the leader. He’s the vocal leader. He’s the accountability. He’s the person that’s making sure everybody’s getting to their assignments and putting in the correct amount of effort. And if they aren’t, he’s letting them know. And that’s the thing I love about Scott. In some ways, he has that level of I want everybody to do things at a high level like me. And some of these guys, they absolutely can do it at a high level like him on defense, but they can’t do everything else that he does at a high level. And that’s the thing. He’s going to be looking at people like Oshai and Jamal and Elijah and Colin and be telling them, “Yeah, we need to do this even better, guys. And I’ll show you. I’m not going to ask any of y’all not to do anything that I wouldn’t do. I’m gonna come out there and I’m gonna put the tempo and the energy of the defense that we’re going to do and set the leadership role and the tone of it and all y’all need to follow me. So Scotty is absolutely the most important defender on this team. You know, Yaka Purle’s very important also. Jamal Shed is also a very important defender on this team. But these guys, you know, they’re going to show you that the the defense is going to be raised up. And honestly, I think our offense is going to raise up this year, too, because of Brandon and even Sandro showing up is going to help our offense a lot. One of the things that Mamu does is he gets quick points as soon as he comes in. And, you know, he he is a threat on the outside. They have to actually really respect him and come outside. So, because his three is good. So, it’ll be very interesting the these add-ons. We definitely added a lot of defense through the draft, but with Brandon and Sandro coming in, we’ve added some offense also that people don’t realize. That’s right. Uh Randolph’s here. Good to see Randolph Phillips. Blessings, beloved Raptor Freaks, and most informative family. Blessings. What you do to help others is needed to help transform their lives. You are blessed to be a blessing. This is amazing. I love this. I mean, seriously, y’all, the the world could turn dark and be evil in certain ways at at certain levels, but the power of love and uh kindness will win out in the end. Seriously, the meek shall inherit the earth. That’s what is the truth. That is just the truth. It may be uh you know, because the the power hungry always run their run their uh their do they run their time because they go too far and then they get what they get and that’s just how it is. I appreciate the uh Randolph with his blessings and his words of wisdom and I a blessings to the Phillips family and all the Rapper Freak families today. That’s right. That’s right. James is saying Dame’s going to be in demand once he heals up. Maybe Lakers. Yeah. No, I’m here in Miami. Number one, it’s probably going to be the Heat. And that makes sense because in some ways they have a vacancy for a number one superstar down there because of, you know, Jimmy leaving last year. and the Heat are kind of reeling from weird things uh that are going on with their team. They need a little bit of an uptick and that’s where he wanted to go originally, right? From Portland. He demanded to go to Miami. Well, he just didn’t get there directly. He had a layover for two years in Milwaukee. So, I don’t see it. They’ll be in the Lakers. That doesn’t make any sense to me. Dame in some ways. Um that would be an easy punk ass move in some ways to go join Luca and LeBron. I don’t even see how that works with the money. Seriously, I don’t even see how that works. Uh Neil’s saying Mamu only has to be better than uh Si Mahalik and Wancho Hearn and Gomez. No, he is better than them. And uh we’re going to see stuff. The thing is he’s around the same money as Wancho. Wancho got paid the same as him, but he’s going to be way better than Wancho. Guys, I’m going to say this right now. You know, the thing about Wancho was he was more a finesse player, more of a, you know, a a speedy kind of player, not really a physical player, but Sandre is a physical player, and that is going to be very, very helpful. There’s a lot that he checks off. In fact, we should be overjoyed about this signing. Seriously, guys, because in some ways, it really is showing that the Raptors are starting to fill some of the gaps on their team that we needed to. And this is a huge one. The backup center, a huge, huge one. And we got an adequate personnel. We just need health for everybody for this season. Health for everybody. That’s right. That’s right. Uh Cool Cat is here. Good morning, Rapree Crew. Good morning to you, coach. You’re number two on the board now. Look at that. Cool is raising up the ranks on the top fans to number two. Here we see Cass has entered the chat, too. He’s in the the ranking now, but I see Cool Cat ranked number two there. Rand St. Lex, do you think that this was the big man front office had their eyes on all along, which is why they didn’t choose one with the ninth pick? Good signing. Yeah, we could infer that. I bet you that Bobby had a list of possible centers for backup and well, maybe this was one of the top picks on there. I would think he would probably be one of the top picks around here because if you think about it, Sandro is young. He’s R.J.’s age, right? They’re both from the same year in high school. And uh in some ways he has the he’s in the right spot of age where he’s not a young young rookie where he has to really make a lot of mistakes like he was in Milwaukee. But I even remember when he was young in Milwaukee the man was very capable and not seeming like he was making a lot of mistakes as a young big then. But I think it really is the kind of thing it’s like, well, we had Koko, Koko made a lot of mistakes and in some ways Nick had a hard time keeping him on the floor because of fouls and just not getting it in some things with positioning on defense. And well, that’s the thing I think that Bobby’s realized. Why go through the failures of the center being a absolute drag on your team and not helping you? Let’s go ahead and let other teams develop centers for a couple years like that and we’ll go get a guy who’s in the right part of their career where they’re a little bit more savvy to the NBA and understanding how to play it correctly as a big man. And that’s what this is. It’s smart. It’s actually really really smart philosophy for that particular roster spot. So I can’t disagree with this because in some ways Sandro is way more ready and prepared to help us this year than Common is. Common it would not be help probably wouldn’t help us as much as Sandro this year. He may be a better player in the long run, but Sandro Mamu it will help the Raptors way more than common Malawak would have helped them this year. Seriously. Seriously. And that’s that may be part of it right there. In some ways, you know, they hyper started up trying to get the Raptors better. In fact, if they hadn’t fired Messiah last Friday, if he they let him take the next year of his contract and go all the way through, he was going to kick so much ass this year that it would be really really hard for the uh Rogers to justify firing him in some ways. Seriously, because this year we’re amped to come in and kick some major ass. Brandon Ingram, hello. Yeah. And now Sandro. And it could have been very much that Sandro was on a list when Messiah was still around and he saw it too. and that this is still stuff that’s working from Messiah’s uh fingerprints being involved. So yeah, it’s a great it’s a great great signing and in some ways it makes uh it’s it’s it’s making up for the draft not getting a center for sure. For sure. Fiery saying good morning fam and happy Wednesday. So happy we have Yakob extended. He does want to win. Why do I have a a fisai has a Why do I have a facai has a hand in the sand? Oh, say I was just saying that you’re saying Messiah, but you put facail. That’s weird. And that it was in the works. I don’t know if it was in the works, but once again, these guys are projecting outside of things ahead of time, months in advance, who may be coming open uh as far as free agency. And yeah, he probably was projected in some ways and probably was a bit of Euger’s fingerprints on this. For sure. For sure. Kette saying, “Sandro seems excited to join the Raptors.” Yeah, let’s go look at the Instagram stories and uh see exactly. I’ve got them added on my Instagram already. First, Lugett is celebrating SGA’s big contract that he got this week. Absolutely deserves it. Those guys are like Batman and Robin. There’s uh Lug helping Cadet raise the Larry O’Brien or the Simon at the parade. It’s kind of funny. Cet, you couldn’t hold up the the the trophy by yourself. Is it too heavy? He needs Lugett to hold it for him. He’s like he had a spotter for the Larry. Man, that’s kind of sad. Honestly, I feel so bad for Chad. I don’t know why I I dump on him. He is a champion. He should be He’s happy. He’s on Cloud9. I should dump on him. But yeah, you needed help to hold up the trophy uh chat because you ain’t strong enough because it looks like Lugat is holding it for you. I’m sorry. I mean for that, but it’s just the damn truth. All right, there’s a Canada Day post by Lou in his team Canada jersey with the the Maple Leaf flag over his shoulders. There you go. A proud Canadian Lugett Dort an NBA champion also. I love that, man. Kelly O Linux saying happy Canada Day. And he had the the barbecue with a bunch of wings on it. Holy crap, those wings look good. Look at those wings. Happy Canada Day. Look at him grilling it up, man. Lots of wings there. And there he is in his Maple Leaf jersey for team Canada, Kelly. Uh can Canada Day vibes is what he’s saying there. And also he’s celebrating CJ McCullum, his teammate still, because he got traded with him to Washington. Uh as a nominee for the Muhammad Ali Sports Humanitarianism Award. CJ is up for that as a nominee. And yeah, he’s proud of him. So he put him on blast. Here’s Chris Buché. Let’s check in with him since we’re on Chris Buché free agency watch. Well, Chris is watching Love Island. Still, this guy loves Love Island. I don’t know anything about Love Island. I if uh if things were a little bit less uh busy in my life, I might watch Love Island just to get in the psychology of Chris Buchet. That’s how much of a rapper streak I am. But alas, I don’t feel like binge watching Love Island, especially if Chris is going to sign with another team in the next few days. So, but yeah, he’s all about the Love Island. If anything, Love Island has become a very good distraction for Chris in this weird ass free agency impossible parting from the Toronto Raptors. We love you, Chris, no matter what. You’re Raptors legend. Don’t worry, we got your back forever. But yeah, he’s making all kinds of commentary saying, “Shaking my head. Why we let Austin stand against Ace? Put me there. I would have ripped Napoleon up.” I have no idea what that means, but that is hilarious. Chris is really into the Love Island, y’all. He’s hooked. Uh here’s Mamu’s uh Instagram. He’s saying love always to San Antonio. This is the thing, man. He’s one of those kind of players that builds a relationship through his personality and his hard work with the fan base. And the Raptors fans are going to love this guy. Trust me, we’re going to love Sandro because I’ve seen how other teams fan nations get behind him and love him so much. Well, it’s our turn. And once again, I remember how annoying he is to play against. And in some ways, I’m glad we’re not playing against him anymore. Let’s just put it that way. That’s part of it, too. There he is. He’s already all about the Raptors 19 hours ago, saying, “Let’s go. Locked in and ready.” Maple Leaf Dinosaur Toronto Raptors original logo on Sandro’s Instagram right away. Yeah, he knows he I mean, he can see the Toronto Raptors from the outside. He’s played against the Toronto Raptors and he understands it’s a world-class organization and he’s excited to be joining it as an international player. That’s awesome, too. Yeah, there he is with Stefan Castle. He’s Castle is uh putting him on blast. I think he’s gonna be sad to see one of his vets go. The young rookie of the year, Stefan Castle. Uh there he is. See you in Toronto, bro. I guess his friend Kavara is saying that to him, you know, there he is with the soccer jersey on. Mamu and but yeah, see you in Toronto, bro. The Georgian flag. Uh and then uh also from Zaza Pachulia. Good luck, my brother. Georgian flag. Yeah, there there’s love all around. His Georgian uh uh mentor is very very happy about his two-year $5.5 million deal with the Toronto Raptors. That’s right, baby. Let’s go. Let’s go. Sandro Emanuel Quickley is really happy to hear the news of a 4-year $14 million extension for YaKob Ple. Big fella indeed. Big fella. I love to see it that uh Emanuel putting on blast the Yakub extension. Jacobe Walter has posted a letter that he wrote to his dad when he was very very young and it says, “Dear dad, I am blessed if you are with me. Without you, I would not be a sports star or I would not be walking. But since you’re my dad, I am happy. Love, Kobe. That’s such a sweet, cute little letter. I hope that he wrote that when he was a kid. I’m pretty sure he wrote that as a kid, Lex. Don’t be acting like he just wrote that letter today. That would be bad. No, he wrote that when he was a child. Come on now. Come on now. All right, let’s see. Uh Matt Develin shout outs getting put on blast by Raptors admin. I’m going be watching Raptors admin with their social media post from now on after that uh that multi-team uh Canada Day post yesterday. Maybe every once in a while y’all do that, but not very common. Please. There’s the two-way signing of Chucky Heburn, ACC defensive player of the year the in the college this year. Chucky is a steel specialist. Y’all are going to see Chucky steal the ball this year and y’all are gonna be like, “How did he do that? How did he do that? How did Chucky do that? You guys get ready for that. You hear all my predictions. I’m telling you. There he is. There’s Colin Murray Boils signing his contract with his left hand, guys. So, he’s a true lefty. Yeah. See, Rubber Streak noticed everything, y’all. Colin Murray Boils signed his Raptor’s contract with his left hand. That tells you something right there. He’s a lefty. Dominant lefty. That’s right. He is a lefty. Uh, let’s see. But I think Sandre is a lefty, too, guys. He shoots left himself, guys. So, we got a couple of new lefties coming in with R.J. also being a lefty. We got lefties. Uh, let’s see. There’s Chucky signing his contract. He’s signing with his right hand, though, guys. Chucky is signing with his right hand. R.J. Barrett putting on blast. A young Canadian player Beckford and the teams young car team Canada under 19 kicking ass. Oliver Ryu and those guys in the under 19 World Cup. So, yeah, R.J. showing love towards the under team for team Canada men’s and uh putting them on blast. Love to see captain Canada RJ uh doing what he does. StarJ and then he’s celebrating Yaka Purle’s extension also just like Emanuel Quickley. It seems like these guys from the Knicks on our Raptors team like Yaka Purle. I’m pretty sure Scotty’s very happy about this too. I’m gonna say this right now. I know Scotty Barnes loves playing with Yaka Purle and well getting YaKob extended for four more years. Yeah, Scotty’s smiling about it, too. Although Scotty’s not posting very much these days. Norman Powell, Understand the Grind, established in 1993. Y’all go get your Understand the Grind gear. Playoff Powell would want you to. Also, Understand the Grind youth basketball camp, August the 23rd, 2025. It’s at Lincoln High School in San Diego, California. And it’s Yeah, Understand the Grind Basketball Camp. You can go to Norman’s camp, guys. There’s so many basketball camps these days now. For sure, man. All over the place. There you go. Let’s see. Shamshay has got a picture of him and Common on his uh Instagram right now. And you can see that Common’s just a little bit taller than Shamsh. You know, they say that Common’s 7 foot2, but in this picture uh Shamshi’s looking very 7 foot one next to him. But yeah, uh in some ways, what could have been? But Rich Paul didn’t want it. And Alish understands that. Bro, you need to have that to yourself. We got a a depth chart now with Yakob, Sandro, and you. You are the third center, my guy. And no comments in there in between you. So, you got your time. You need to play more on the big level with the Raptors this season, Shamsh. We’re excited about it. We want to see it. That’s right. There’s Nabatia celebrating Nikuel Alexander’s new deal. Wow. Big new deal. Congratulations to one of the most solid guys I know, Nikuel Alexander Walker, now of the Atlanta Hawks. And uh Nav also welcoming Colin Murray Boils to the NBA. You will love it here, Colin. Okay. And he’s putting on blast the taste of uh Colin wearing the Toronto Tempo shirt when he met Nav Batia. There you go. And he’s also at the baseball game yesterday on Canada Day. Nav likes to go to the Blue Jays game. That’s what it is. Jay Nathan reposting the multi-team post for Canada Day yesterday. Of course, that he’s featured in singing his heart out with his good best friend Scotty Barnes. That’s the thing. They’re the only two that are patriotic for Canada because they sing with their hearts. The rest of y’all are mumbling and look at the smiles on their faces, too. Scotty and uh Jonathan, true Canadians. Uh Eric Smith putting on blast the two deals yesterday. The Raptors did. Breaking news from Shams free agent forward center. Sandro has agreed to a two-year deal and also the extension for Yaka Purdle. There you go. Matt Develin’s wearing crazy Canada Day glasses yesterday. Happy Canada Day from Matt Develin. That’s right. Let’s see. Savannah Hamilton’s out with friends uh eating on Canada Day. Looks like a fun crew. One of your friends wearing a Nuggets jersey. What are you doing wearing a Nuggets jersey, my guy? Got that Raptors jersey, my my buddy. Yeah, you got the tower behind you. Eugene Maroy is posting great Florida State Simols wide receiver, defensive back Dion Sanders on his Instagram talking about talking about something. I don’t know. And then uh yeah, that looks like Jean in the second one with this guy dancing in a suit and a little hat and glasses on the street. That could be you, Jean. You dance like that for real. Maybe that could be you. Toronto Tempo. Uh also putting on blast. They’ve been asking everybody, who do you think should sing the national anthem when the Toronto Tempo tips off for their first game? And they’ve gotten two answers. They asked the the the premier of Quebec and they’ve also or the par member of parliament of Quebec I guess Marie Phipe Pulin and they asked Lugett Dort and both of them had the same answer. They think that the person that should sing the Canadian national anthem at the very first Toronto Tempo game should be Selene Dion. I mean I can’t argue with that. That makes sense. That’s a legend. That would be a legendary thing for her to do. Everybody remembers the bare naked ladies did the first anthem for the Raptors. Well, Selen Deion, don’t make your price too high because you could be a part of a historic moment. So, seriously, if Teresa calls you soon, please say yes and say you’ll do it out of the kindness of your heart and that you don’t have some crazy exorbitant asking fee. Seriously, because it’ll do you good. Trust me, it’ll do you good if you do this, Selene Deion. There’s your Instagram stories for today. There you go. Boom goes the dynamite. Yeah, Sandro is happy to be a Raptor. Uh, he posted it almost right away and we’re excited to have him up here, too. It’s gonna be awesome. Uh, Bryce is saying this now. Uh, good morning, Lex from Raptor Freaks. I had no clue who Mamu was. Seeing he was a stretch with some skill, a decent connector. He’s solid. Yeah, he’s a stretch big. He’s a He is can be a legit center. He can battle with the big guys. He’s a legit 611. You know, these are all good things. I’ve been looking at his stuff, you know, with looking at his Wikipedia. He’s a G-League Up next game player. He’s a Big East co-player of the year. He’s a first team all Big East and he won the Hagerty Award in 2021. He was a second round pick by the Indiana Pacers in 2021. It says he’s 69 on his Wikipedia, but it says he’s 6’11 on his U basketball reference page. He does not have any nicknames, y’all. None listed right now. Mamu is probably his nickname and that’s that. And of course, his last game that he played in the NBA last season was against the Toronto Raptors on the last game of the season. He scored 12 points on six of eight shooting against us with four rebounds, four assists, and a steal in uh 19 minutes. So, that’s solid uh production for their backup center in the last game of the season against the Raptors. Very solid. Bryce, good to see you holding it down in Kentucky. Once again, congratulations on your uh engagement. That’s right. Stargate saying, “Good morning, Raptor Freak family. I must say this is shaping up to be a very interesting season for the Raptors. In some ways, a pivotal season for them. Not looking to a finals or even an Eastern Conference Finals. That’s unrealistic expectations. However, my expectations are at least over 500 and making the playoffs. Health notwithstanding. That’s really the biggest uh part of it. And I think that we’ll be all right this year. Hopefully luck luck comes to us this year. Hopefully we got some things coming to us because of the very stupid move by uh the ownership on Friday uh that good things will be coming to us in this kind of way. I don’t know if it’s unrealistic when this is the thing I always look at each season this way. Stargate you know we start the season in training camp. Well actually it’s summer league. We start the process with the draft free agency summer league. We see the young players you know people like Jameson Battle or Jeff Don Jr. get sussed out and join the team. We go into training camp. We battle in training camp. We do the preseason. We make some cuts. We have our final roster. We have our first game of the season and we start from there with a work in progress. It’s a work in progress the whole time. And you know, just like the Pacers last season who were not that good in the beginning of the season, we kicked their ass and won the season series against the Pacers. Well, they continued to grow and get better and better as the year goes on. And you never know what the journey for an NBA team is in the season. You can ask the Pacers. No idea that they go all the way to the finals like that. And some people would have said, “Nah, they have no chance of doing that.” So, let’s not limit ourselves. Just because it’s unrealistic in some ways to a lot of people, the majority of people think it’s unrealistic and it probably is, doesn’t mean it couldn’t happen. And that’s what I’m saying. The Eastern Conference is screwed up this year. And the Raptors may just be in the right spot to do something crazy that nobody has ever seen before, and that is go far in the playoffs after not making the playoffs the year before. So, we’ll have to see what happens. Don’t count them out because in some ways, Brandon has experience. Our team’s getting more experience. Our young players are getting better and better. We have a certain system and a different a certain style of defense that is very conducive for winning. And just like the Pacers were a progressive team that progressed as the season goes on. Well, let’s just see what happens as Darko builds this team over the course of the year because by the time March comes around, we could be very interesting team by then. And you may be saying, “Wow, we could actually really do something with damage in the postseason more than I thought at this point when we’re talking right now.” So, I would say that I mean I love you, man. And you’re not necessarily wrong. It’s unrealistic probably to think this, but let’s gain more evidence and information from the way we play this season and let’s start aiming higher and higher as we see. That’s what I say right there. Yeah, because you don’t know. It’s a journey and the team changes as the year goes on. The Pacers got way better and they continue to get better through the playoffs and even into the finals. They had even better defense in the finals. Yeah. Seymour saying, “I’m I’mma hold my league. I’m gonna hold my tongue on what I want to say about the signing. If y’all are happy, I’m happy for you. You You’re not a big fan of Sandro. Yeah, I think that he’s Listen, once again, I hated him before. That’s a good sign because like usually if I have uh I either have no opinion of a player or I I think that they’re great uh or they don’t think that they’re I they’re annoying to me. Well, he’s in that annoying category. So, that means he’s a good player. If I didn’t have any feelings about him, it’s okay. I would be like, uh, yeah, okay, this is a ho hump signing, but because I have amnity against them from built up from him on the Bucks mainly, not as much on the Spurs, but he has been annoying and he was annoying in a couple of games this year, too. Uh, that means he’s a good player because I have feelings about him in a negative way against him because he’s annoyed the hell out of me. Does that make sense? That makes sense. Cream, a great philosopher once said, “Mamu, Mamu said knock you out.” Okay, I’m gonna give you this one. This is awesome. All right, Dunk Champion. This is pretty good. Even though this is so cheesy, he does have children, so he does have the license to make a dad joke. And well, all right. Uh, ladies love Cool J. Well, ladies love Kareem Thomas’ cheesy ass jokes, too. So, 138 to you, man. He’s doing it and doing it and doing it well. He represents the rapper freaks in Miss Saga, baby. Mamu said, “Knock you out. We don’t need no fights this year.” All right, y’all. All right, let’s see. Fiercy saying, “Lots of trades and free agency signings yesterday, but I’m looking at how they can affect the Raptors. Miles Turner leaving the Pacers definitely helps, although the Bucks may be more competitive now.” Now, let’s look at the fit of Miles with Giannis is actually pretty good. You know, in some ways, Giannis and Seakum are similar, and uh they they’ve both fit that kind of player with Miles Turner pretty well. I thought that Miles and Pascal were a great team together. Well, I think Giannis and Miles will be a great team together. Also, the Bucks are making a lot of changes. It’s like weird. They resigned Gary and it’s still a shitty deal. It’s like not that much money. Poor Gary Trent. And they also got Gary Harris. So, they got like more Garry’s. They got two Garry’s now. Trent and Harris. And uh they lost Brook Lopez. We have to make light of that. Brook Lopez is going to the Clippers. And uh they did retain um Bobby Poris, I believe. Uh but yeah, there’s been a bit of a shakeup in Milwaukee. They’ll be different. And obviously Lillard’s not going to be there anymore, too. So, I don’t know. I’m not going to say that Milwaukee’s gotten better because they just lost a possible top 75 player in Lillard. Uh and also their longtime center that they’ve had for like 10 years themselves. They had Brook Lopez on the Bucks for a long, long time. He’s going to be a big void. And in some ways, Miles Turner will not fill it the same way that he played. So, it’ll be interesting. I don’t know necessarily if the Bucks are any better, guys. In some ways, I can make the argument that they’re going to be worse this year. And I’m pretty sure the Pacers will be worse this year, too. That’s what’s happening. The Celtics are going to be worse this year. The Knicks are going to be worse this year. The Sixers, I don’t know. The Sixers could be healthy and do better. The Knicks did pick up Gabashan Yabuselli and uh Jordan Clarkson of all people. That that to me is a bad move by the Knicks. Like you don’t need no Jordan Clarkson there. Seriously, he’s a baller. He’s a scorer. But in some ways, that’s a bad signing for the Knicks. Watch. You’re going to see it. You’re going to see it. So, we’ll have to see. The East is all screwed up. Let’s just put it that way. The East is all screwed up. The only team that kind of in some ways, and even they are screwing with their chemistry, is Cleveland. That’s the only team I had any kind of confidence in in some ways in the East. But now they they’re getting rid of people like Tai Jerome. They’re losing people like George Nyang. They may be in more trouble than we think. And the they’re changing their team very drastically. And we’re seeing people like Carris Levert and Duncan Robinson come to Detroit. It’s a real shakeup. And in some ways there’s so much going on. MJ, it’s hard for me to keep it all track of it right now. I’d much rather just see each team as we come to them in the season. analyze how they are at that point and we can go over their strength and how they are and I can speculate on their roster from that because it’s just too much. It’s too much. It’s very very frenetic the free agency period right now. Very very frenetic. Frenetic. That’s the right word right there. Yeah. Uh let’s see. Uh Neil saying dropping off Spurs is what happens when teams are too stacked. The same will happen with OKC. We did it to Rhoden last night, but he needs to heal up. Yeah, Rhoden’s not I don’t know if he’s going to be ready for the season in certain ways and we can’t wait around at that level on our roster for people in some ways. It’s like you can cut people loose and you’ll get somebody who’s kind of similar, adequate or same and that that that that there’s no risk in that. There’s no risk in that. Like you switch from Rhoden to Lawson for the two-way. It’s not a big deal. In fact, I prefer that. I prefer that. Yeah, this is a great what Neil’s saying is true. the Spurs upgraded around their roster and getting other people coming in there and well some of the people they had from last year you know even though they’re fan favorites and honestly the people in San Antonio aren’t happy about this totally they really value Sandro and uh and that’s a good sign I’m telling you guys that’s a good sign of him coming here and I think you’re exactly right this kind of stuff will happen to Oklahoma City the the journalists in the NBA are starting to wake up that the windows to get championships are very small and you got to jump in them within like a two or three year period or you’re [ __ ] because the the salary cap is just the way it is at this point. So, it’s really going to be fun to see how it changes every year, the parody and which teams are able to rise up over everybody else to really get it. In some ways, this league is more rewarding towards teams that absolutely are playing like a team, playing hard, and really want it the most. Because in the past, you could just make teams of superstars like the old Miami Heat and the Golden State Warriors with Steph and all them and just be like, “Yeah, we can cruise and we’re just gonna get there.” No, you know what? This this now everybody’s got to play their ass off all year long and really try and get the best to get there. You can’t halfass your way to a championship anymore in the NBA. You cannot. You cannot. You have to do it right at this point. You have to do it right. Man, I’m confused by these numbers because they’re changing all the time. It’s like whoever writes the most in, I guess. Don’t y’all try and make me have lexathons just because you’re trying to be a top fan. This may be interesting to see what happens here. Uh Seymour’s saying, uh, if Bucks get CP3, they can run, but with Kevin Porter Jr. at that point, they ain’t enough. Now, Chris Paul is signed with the Clippers. He’s going back to LA and he will be playing for the Clippers this year. So, Chris Paul has a homecoming back to Los Angeles with the Clippers this year. So, that’s not happening. They he will not be there in Milwaukee. Just so you know. Kevin Porter. Yeah, that guy is not a point. No. No. Fiery saying, “Lex, what’s up with the crowns next to our names? Looks cool.” Well, apparently there’s a top fans ranking and right now Neil is number one with Seymour number two and Fiery and Milbers’s on here now. Uh Kareem, Cool Cat, Cass, and Wayne. And yeah, you guys have different points. I don’t know how you got them. Like Wayne and Cass have 25 points and the rest of y’all just have 75 points. I don’t know what y’all did to get them, but yeah, it’s very weird. I have no idea what this is. This just just showed up today. So, I didn’t do anything, I don’t think, to make this happen. Uh, James is saying, “Darko has a lot of lineup options this year, a proper bench, kind of like the Pacers.” We really do. And the great thing is it’s on the youth. And this is the thing. A lot of these guys are on rookie contracts for years to come. And the big names, well, we got to manage them. People like R.J. and Scotty and Brandon. But you know, Jamal Shed, Jacobe Walter, Grady Dick, these guys are still on pretty decent paid contracts and we have a window to get somewhere with them. And we figure out which ones of those guys are the ones worth keeping to continue to develop more. And some of it is that these young guys on our team have to show a really high ceiling that’s possible. You know, Jamal Shed has shown that he has a very high ceiling because of his expertise and his savviness and his work ethic and just his really, really smart basketball IQ. man, really, really, really smart. So, we’ll have to see. We’ll have to see what happens. There are a lot of options. And Sandro is a great new option for Coach Darko. That’s right. Simo saying, “Alex, money runs the world. Pacers offer Turner 9 million a season. What a joke. Uh, Milwaukee gave him a real contract.” Yeah, and that’s their fault. They wanted to cheap out because they didn’t want to go in the luxury tax. That’s specifically it. And that is directly linked to Tyresese Hallebertton’s injury. If Hallebert had not gotten hurt and he was still healthy, the the Pacers ownership was ready to invest in next year. But because Hallebertton’s out, he’s out for the year. This is really crazy because in some ways it’s like I guess it’s a a victim of the new salary cap situation too is that they don’t want to try and do this. If you had gone in the finals finally for the first time in forever since 25 years, I would double down and try and go further. But no, because Tyrese is hurt. They don’t want to do this and they’re being cheap. So if I was Pacers fan, I would be mad because our owner, your ownership is like making this happen. They should have ponyied up and got there on the same there. You know what I’m saying? They should have ponyied up. James is saying we’re playoff bound. That’s right. That’s right. Cool saying, “I have no problem with Miles Turner. His goal on is to earn the most on his last contract. Pacers owners are billionaires. Why should anyone sacrifice to make billionaires more money?” Yeah, I’m with you on this for sure. As far as like I’m for the players. I’m always for the workers and not for the owners in any case and situation, especially more and more in this world as it changes, especially with the Senate passing that bill in such a [ __ ] up way. Yesterday, JD Vance, the deciding vote between a 50-50 split in the Senate on the big, beautiful, awful, disgusting be bill. You know, that that’s symptoms of it. And so, yeah, I’m totally with you on this and I get what you’re saying. I’m not mad at Miles. I just think that I wanted to explain the whole situation. I feel like and he very much made it clear he wanted to stay in Indiana but in some ways like Kool said he’s got to get the money that he can get and if he can get more from Milwaukee well that’s what happens. I don’t know maybe he could have done a Jaylen Brunson and said hey you know what I do really want to just stay here. I don’t care about an extra two million. I’ll just stay here and I’ll play for the Pacers. I don’t know. Maybe they want to do that. Maybe his agent said no. And then Milwaukee was an opportunist in the middle of it and said, “You know what? You can come here. We’ll pay you 11 million a year instead of this amount or how much, you know.” So, yeah, it’s a tough situation all around. There’s different kind of uh wants and needs for different people. And well, I it’s been very much linked directly to Hallebertton’s injury. Why Miles Turner is now a Milwaukee Buck. Seriously. Seriously. Semour saying money rules the world. Maybe yours, but the people in this world honor money. Maybe not yours. Yeah, but at some point we won’t. In fact, I’m gonna tell y’all what we need to do next, guys. Especially if the states really turns bad, we need to opt out of the system. Seriously. Seriously. The only thing that keeps this thing propped up is general belief, like you’re saying about Seymour. But let’s get out of our own minds and what we’ve been taught and conditioned to believe. Money isn’t anything. What if we just started bartering everything? What if you stopped going to corporate companies and only shop with local? What if you only like dealt with your friends? What if you did more low-key kind of stuff? What if you stopped supporting these big huge billionaires as much as possible? You would bring them to your knee, their knees. So, let’s just get it straight. That’s only the vehicle for our subjugation. But when we all realize that it’s just a madeup thing, we can do a lot more powerful things than you would realize. And one of the things that’s being talked about now, if they do get this bill through in the House, is a general strike. And a general strike will bring the system to its crashing halt. and they will start listening to us. So, be ready to walk off the job. Maybe not up here in Canada, but in the Americans down in the States to really make sure that y’all aren’t going to all die from not having Medicaid and all kinds of stuff. the majority of y’all should just walk off and go on general strike and, you know, throw all the monkey wrenches in the world into the system and then they’ll start realizing and some people are saying, you know, they’ve they’ve they’ve uh made the American people so uh confused and uh distracted with so much crazy [ __ ] The timing of all this is very much like that. In fact, the timing of Firing Messiah was supposed to make it so we’d all forget to cancel our Rogers today when they actually can take our phone calls. Think about that. Oh, let’s fire Messiah on Friday morning of the long weekend and then everybody who scrambles to try and cancel their Roger services will have a hard time because we’re on off weekend hours. Well, everybody call today. I’m reminding y’all we call today and you cancel your Rogers today. Let’s not get it twisted, Seymour. This system is only made by them people and that doesn’t have to be a real thing or anything that happens. Sure. I don’t believe in it. And I’ll bet you more and more of y’all will be like me as time comes on, especially if they’re going to be so greedy and everybody’s going to be living in a shack with a a oil drum out in the front yard for their fire. Seriously. So, um, you know, I would say right now, Seymour, expect a general strike. I predict things and I’m going to tell you right now, there’s going to be a general labor strike and all the people in the United States are going to walk off their jobs at once and they’re going to stop the whole system. Watch. And it’s going to be earthshattering and it’s going to be a huge thing and they can all stay away. And you know what you start doing? You you bond in community. You feed each other. You’re there for each other. And you stand against the powers that be the billionaire class that is absolutely rubbing us from the top. You know, the thing that happened yesterday is absolutely Robin Hood in reverse. And it’s absolutely disgusting, inhumane, and [ __ ] up. And [ __ ] up things like this get what I just described. So yeah, you say it’s not mine. Well, you know what? We don’t none of us have to believe in this [ __ ] It’s just that you’ve always known it and that you’re conditioned to believe it. But when that call comes, Seymour, and they tell you to get off the forklift and go and stand outside, you go. Seriously. And don’t even think twice because everybody needs to go in solidarity. Just so you know. All right. Yeah, there you go. Boom goes a dynamite. That’s right. Uh what did uh pickle ball champ say? I need Discord. Yeah, you need to come into Discord. You should be in there watching it. It’s dumb. I feel like Jillian means well. Jillian has an enthusiasm and a passion for basketball, but she doesn’t know jack [ __ ] about basketball. She really doesn’t. She’s clueless and she just she comes in as acts like she’s an expert, but she doesn’t know what she’s saying. She’s saying nonsense. She’s not making coherent arguments. And I’m annoyed with her. Honestly, I’m thinking about banning her from the Discord. She had went away for a little while cuz she got mad at me arguing with her about facts and her not being in the factual world. And uh she left for a little while, but now she’s come back yesterday and she just filled up the Discord server with all kinds of stupid [ __ ] And I’m annoyed with her for it. I’m actually seriously figuring about kicking her out of the Discord. Seriously, this is really, really annoying having her in there. She just confuses things. In some ways, she’s not talking about things that are important. In some ways, she’s her opinions are not informed and they sound stupid as [ __ ] And I’m just like, you know what? Just [ __ ] off. Seriously, I’m I’m seriously that’s it right there. Kat saying, “Lex Miles was offered 22 million for three years. The Bucks offered more money for four years. Why do people who are not billionaires supporting billionaires to make more money by limiting non-billionaires pockets?” Once again, I if I sounded like I’m coming down on Miles Turner, I’m not. I didn’t. I just explained the whole situation and how it went down like this. And I’m blaming the owners. You’re not listening to me if you think I’m blaming Miles Turner. I’m not. I think that it’s sad and it is stabbing them in the back. The Pacers fans, that can be true, too. Seriously, that can be true, too. From the fans perspective, in some ways, Miles Turner stabbing them in the back. But if they really want to delve deep into it, they could say, “Well, the owners are stabbing us in the back because they didn’t give the money proper to Miles and they’re trying to cheap on this.” I mean, I’m not blaming Miles Turner, seriously. And I’m not on the owner’s side. Trust me, I’m definitely not on the owner’s side. Neil saying, “Lex, the purpose of Discord is to talk [ __ ] relax on the restrictions and let them communicate or uh go bad they’re talking. I get what you guys are saying and people have said this Discord is for discourse, but I’m gonna say this right now. There’s way too much [ __ ] out there that’s just wasting time. And one of the things I try to do with the Discord is that basketball channel is supposed to be for talking basketball in some ways. I don’t want opinions. And Mike’s doing too much too on there. Logical Raptors fanatic. I want more of the news stories like what Trevor and Mon’nique post on the Facebook and there Trevor left for a little while and and normally what I see in the Discord basketball channel is Trevor’s news updates and I love that. That’s what I want to see. But y’all are coming in and you’re having discussions and arguments and some of it’s just y’all talking to each other. In some ways, I could see either talk to y’all each other in the messages personally if y’all have a gripe and you want to argue or go to one of the other channels that have designated for this. The basketball channel is for basketball news and for basketball news, not any kind of other news, not politics, baseball or anything else. The other channel is for other news, for politics, for baseball, for other subjects. The speculative channel is for you guys to do what you’re talking about there, the discord of the discourse of the discord. And that’s why I made that channel because part of the thing is Neil and I said this the other day is I’m using the Discord server as a reference page for things that I need to look up really fast for this show. And if I go on there and there’s like 200 300 messages between you, Logical Raptors Fanatic, Stargate, and Jillian like there was yesterday, y’all filled it in there. It’s like Mike came back on. said, “Holy [ __ ] there’s 300 Discord messages on here. It’s not helping me with part of what I want it to be for. It’s I don’t I want y’all to talk.” And you’re exactly right. Discord is for that, but in the right channels is what I’m saying. And that basketball channel is dedicated for basketball news. Shams, bombs, uh articles from journalists, uh all that kind of stuff. and not so much uh this is how I feel about this and this and arguing about this with uh Wayne or Stargate, you know, stuff like that. That’s that’s that’s the thing I’m trying to say. Neil Seymour saying Gary Trent Jr. making 2.5 a season sounds right. That man robbed us on his contract. Well, it’s just the NBA changed. His last good contract was with the Raptors and man, the man now makes two and a half million a year. It’s just crazy, man. You think he’s totally overpaid? No, I don’t agree with that. In the old NBA, this guy would be banking 15 million and rightfully so. But this isn’t the old NBA. They cut out the middle class and it’s just how it is. It’s just how it is. You think he’s overpaid? No, that’s not right. Uh, cool cat saying, “Our human psychology baffles me. Collectively, humans supporting billionaires rather than supporting other non-billionaires to become billionaires. Realize billionaires don’t act emotionally, always money.” Yeah. No, I totally agree with you. And uh, you know, they sell this uh, pipe dream. Oh, you can become them and that’s why you shouldn’t attack them. You know, it brainwashes people. Seriously, but this is not what’s going on with me. Trust me, this is not what’s going on with me, but uh maybe with some of the people that have watched our channel in the past. Fierce saying, “My comment had autocorrected.” Sorry about that. I said, “I have a feeling Messiah has a hand in Sandre sign.” Yeah, I got what you meant. And it’s all good. I I figured it out. You know, it’s tough. you know, between uh Trevor reading his comments in and typing in with autocorrect, there can be all kinds of funny u changes to things that people type. I often I’ll try and just make uh light of them and have fun with them. But yeah, also it’s tough because with my autism, I am going to read them straight up as they are. And I’m trying to have I have way more patience about people writing comments than I did when I first started. I was such a jerk when I was like I used to be a real jerk especially to Mike because Mike would like write crazy comments that didn’t make no sense. Logical Raptors fanatic and I’m like what are you trying to say Mike? I’m confused. I just get frustrated. But that was really part of my asberers more than u you know Mike’s problem. It was more that let’s see uh Coolcat saying Gary must have uh major regret. He turned down the Raptors contract to 19 million. Now he’s been forced to accept ultra low contract at 2.5. not good business sense if you ask me. He should fire his agent. It’s not totally his fault. I’m gonna say this once again. Gary Trent is a victim of timing and it’s just the changes in the CBA. In some ways, he he they couldn’t have forecasted this because the changes in the CBA and the and everything happened really quickly. And he just happens to be in a category of player that really got the shaft on this. That’s what it is. And he’s not the only one. There’s a lot of players at this level. Chris is one of them, too, guys. watch the money that Chris signs for when he eventually signs is not going to is going to be like wow that’s what he’s getting paid and like I thought this well why didn’t the Raptors just pay him that. Well, because we wanted Sandro and Sandro is giving us different things in some ways than what Chris would give us. So, uh James is saying Trent at 2.5 is a steal. Dude had multiple 30 play games in the playoffs. Yeah, it’s a steal. The only thing is he’s a streak shooter and you know sometimes he’s not going to show up and that’s part of it. But yeah, it’s a weird situation. It’s absolutely a weird situation. I feel bad for Gary Trent uh Jr., but he’s still gonna make way more money than Gary Trent Senior did in his NBA career. He’s gonna make way more. And we’re talking about somebody who’s making 2.5 million. Seriously, that’s a lot of money in itself. Seymour’s got uh I candy love. I like that. Fiercely saying, “Hi, Seymour. I believe Trent Junior’s pay is higher than 2.5. Not sure how much, but less than 10.” No, he’s getting paid 2.5 this year. 2.5. That’s what he signed with to stay with the Bucks just in the last two days. That’s right. Seymour saying, “I’m just saying yes, that’s a good contract value for the Bucks. We paid him like 18 million a season.” Oh, that’s what you meant. Okay. I thought you meant like, “Oh, he’s not worth the 2.5.” I’m like, “What? That’s a steal. That’s crazy money for Gary Trent Jr. That’s crazy crazy money.” Yeah. Star saying Blackhawk Discord is his platform. He has the right to run it the way he sees fit. For us to tell what restrictions he should or not should in his own platform is kind of entitled, don’t you think? No. I I I’m seriously I don’t want to be like a doineering person. I know I am in my personality to an extent already and I hold it back honestly. There’s parts of me that are absolutely obsessivecompulsive and would absolutely be even more of a dictator and I don’t want to be like that guy. So no, I’m always open for commentary and what Blackhawk’s saying is valid. But I appreciate you standing up for me in this way. Also, Stargate, I want to be in the middle. How about that? I want to just save that one channel for a clear channel of news. And I’ve I’ve made that tried to make that very clear. The basketball news channel should be just basketball news and maybe not opinion and speculation. And there are other channels for you guys to go on there. And it’s just go to the right channel is what I’m saying. And I know sometimes things get spawned from the basketball news channel because of a news article gets posted and then all of a sudden we go into an opinion kind of uh spiral on the basketball channel and people going back and forth. But the problem I had with yesterday was there was a lot of nonsense in the basketball channel that was not like val uh valuable. It was just you guys going back and forth and some of it was really kind of like not necessary. Let’s just put it that way. And I think some of the confused stuff was not necessary. That’s part of it right there. Uh let’s see. Bryce is saying the Pacers actually offered Miles a 60 million three three year deal. He wanted 25 million a year. Uh Pacers were trying to avoid luxury tax. Yeah. Yeah, that sounds all about right, the numbers. So he wanted 25 million. They were going to give him 20 million a year. And that’s how much Yakob makes. Although YaKob’s going to get a little bit paid a little bit more higher now with the new extension as it goes further into the future, which makes sense because the TV deal is going to increase revenue and also uh the players should be getting their fair share increased just like the owners, the billionaires are making an increase on their profits. Yeah, I’m totally with that. Uh Trevor saying Dame can now do his music in Miami now. Yeah, that’s like likely what’s going to happen. He’s gonna he did two years in Milwaukee and now he can go straight to Miami now. Yeah, this season’s going to be very interesting. Yeah, the East is wide open and I feel real good about our team. I really do. I feel really, really good about it. Uh Neil S. Rhoden is predicted to return to the NBA when the season starts. Another team will pick him up. Yeah, he’s a good player and he deserves to have a spot in the NBA. He really, really does. I like him a lot, man. I like him a lot. And it’s not that I didn’t want him on the Raptors. It’s just that in some ways we are have a glut at that position. And uh if we’re going to pick somebody to leave, he’s one of the ones I’m happier with leaving than uh I would much rather him leave than AJ. This because I do give a Canadian premium and I believe that AJ is uh a fantastic player and they’re similar players in some ways. They’re very much similar players. Uh let’s see, James is saying, “I would say somewhere between 10 to 15 million is decent contract for Trent.” Yeah, that’s fair. That’s fair. Uh Cool saying the new CBA evaporated the middle class. Top players get major pay and everyone moves to the low tier. No market anymore for middle tier players. Very similar to society. Middle class disappearing too. Yeah, I’m gonna give Cool Cat a dunk because she’s exactly right. And that’s part of the symptoms of the world right now. It’s sad. It’s like, you know, there’s going to be the very very ultra rich that have everything that they could ever desire living in ivory towers. are going to pay all the money in the world for police to hold all the rest of the people away and just keep a a society away from people and then there will be the reality for most of us that is not going to be better quality of living than what we have right now. It’s going to degrade and erode over time and that’s part of the problem. The middle class is sinking more and more into the lower middle class into the to the lower class. And I don’t like using the word lower class, just saying the the poorer class or the class that just doesn’t have enough resources or money for themselves. And cutting health care for uh 17 million people yesterday is not a step in the right direction and any kind of way. This is going to get worse and worse. And this this is actually very mirroring a real society. The NBA system too. Coolcat. Exactly right. Exactly right. Here Seymour saying James. No, please stick with your job. If you you were a GM, we would have to blow it up. James No, James is he’s he’s going by the old CBA. Seriously, he’s exactly right. Gary Trent Jr. should be making between 10 to 12 million a year. He’s Exactly right. But this is just the situation it is. If the old NBA rules were in place, that’s where he’d be. But the CBA was really poorly uh put together by CJ McCollum. he sold out a lot of uh really good players that are like Gary and Chris and they’re not going to make as much money because of that. And then the the really rich are making these extraordinary crazy $100 million a year contracts, you know, and stuff like that. It’s crazy. Uh let’s see. Um 5 million tops for Gary. Well, I mean, okay, if you want to really argue this and stand on this hill today, Seymour, about Gary Trent Jr.’s value, that’s fine. We’ll let you have your opinion. In some ways, I think that we could all have our different opinion on what Gary Trent Jr. is worth a year. And I’m going to lean more towards what James is saying, but it doesn’t mean I want my team to spend it on him. No. So, I can be seeing what you say also. James is saying Raptors would have done it, but he wanted more money at the time. In some ways, he did a Dennis Shruder. Let’s just be honest here. Gary Trent Jr. kind of pulled a Dennis, but he didn’t even know totally understand what was coming up, I think. And what whether it’s his agency, he’s clutch, right? He’s clutch. So, uh, yeah, he should fire clutch, I guess, is what y’all are saying, because he’s getting only two and a half million. That’s right. Uh, Neil’s saying, “Two players have to be cut. Right now, it’s between Battle, AJ, and Colin. My money is on Battle Surviving the cut. His shooting is in demand. His contract is cheaper. He’s also partially guaranteed already those other two guys.” I think Colin’s in trouble at this point. Yeah, I think Colin will be a great summer league player, uh, training camp player, but this man’s not gonna be on our team this year. And it’s because Sandro Sandro’s got that spot now. In some ways, Colin Ca Castleton, you shouldn’t have been sleeping against the wall when we’re singing the national anthem this weekend is now they got when got Sandro Mama. And uh, yeah, I think that for sure Colin Castleton will not be on our team this year. It remains to be seen what happens with AJ and Battle. It could very well be you could keep both of them because Battle will get the regular roster spot and AJ gets Jared Rhoden’s two-way. That’s what happens. Uh Black Ops saying Elijah needs to sign his contract. Yeah, I don’t know why they didn’t show him sign his contract yesterday like Chucky and Colin. I don’t know why. In some ways, it may very well be that they need to do some things with him still. He’s a second round pick and in some ways he’s not totally destined to be an NBA player, guys. He may be very much a G-League player for most of his career and he may get very sparring chances in the NBA. Let’s just put it that way. But I want Eli El Elijah Elijah to play very very very well and completely bust what I just said. I’m not saying this to be a hater Elijah Martin. I’m just trying to look at this realistically on the outside looking in. And uh I want you to prove me wrong. I’ll say that right now. any young raptor who comes to my team and I say, “Oh, I don’t know if you’re gonna do this or this. If you don’t like what I’m saying, go ahead and prove me wrong. I’d love for you to do it.” So, yeah, Martin, go the way of Van Bleet because I said the same thing about him when he came in the team and I was totally wrong about Freddy. So, you could do the Vanble Vleet, but you got to do it on a big level there, Elijah. That’s right. Fiercely saying, “Lex, maybe something happened in the back of the scenes to in respect to Turner’s relationship with the Pacers organization because you’re right. all these years and now he’s leaving without pursuing his dream of winning with the Pacers. Uh it’s the money. It’s the money. It’s $5 million more a year and over those years that ends up being like $20 million more in some ways, you know, over four years. So it’s the money, Fiercy. It’s absolutely the money. The loyalty is there. In fact, he was hoping the loyalty would be shown by the Pacers ownership to keep him there. And it it you know it’s not anybody’s fault other than like it’s a situation in some ways. It’s a situation is Hallebertton got hurt. The Pacers are not poised to be competing in the same way next year. The the ownership understands this. So they’re cheaping out and a byproduct of fallout of this and it’s crazy because they don’t have the hindsight to think well but this is Miles. He’s been here for a decade. You know they they don’t even think about that. They only think about this and well they get what they get and Miles Turner is a buck now. And that’s just how it is. That’s just how it is. It’s just the situation. It’s just the situation. Uh Coolcat saying another perspective. Pacers reached to game seven of the finals and Miles Turner underperformed for the entire OKC series. No big money when you underperform. A year to experiment until Tyrese returns. This is a fair point and this was part of the point that Jill was making uh which kind of annoyed me because it but it is true. you know, he did not show up in that game seven just as much as Obie Topphen and a couple other people. Miles Turner did not step up major in there. And you’re right, in some ways he did underperform, but he also had certain moments where he was absolutely essential and he did major important things for them. You know, maybe he wasn’t playing at a high level with his bio energy at the time later in the playoffs, but during the season, some parts of the playoffs, he was huge and key, and he did have some big games at times for them last year. But you’re right. This argument could be made that he wasn’t consistent enough to uh continue at that level of money. And yeah, I mean, I can get behind this. You made the argument much more clearly in your one statement there than like 30 statements that Jill tried to make yesterday in this. You made it way more clearly in just a couple of sentences right here. Uh Cool saying under unfortunately Buché didn’t understand the NBA market CBA. Retrospect, he should have asked for a trade before the contracts devalued. Yeah, I once again hindsight’s 2020. In some ways, things change and well, you know, you want to be prepared and be able to understand the future and what’s going to happen. And maybe more people should be projecting in the future and trying to be smart because there’s really crazy [ __ ] coming our way right now. But, uh, you know, it is what it is in some ways. Once again, I know I’m totally with you. Once again, I hate the owners. The owners are not I’m not their ally. I’m not for them. I’m not for the billionaire class, but in some ways also, you know, Chris is gonna be making millions of dollars to play the NBA no matter what. And it’s like, I get it. I get it. He’s going to be fine either way. It may not be like 12 million this year that he’s going to make. He may make three million or five million. I don’t know. But either way, he’s still making millions of dollars. And it’s a lot better and easier than the way a lot of other people are having to live their lives in ordinary world and stuff like that. So I I don’t get too upset for players to a degree because they’re all getting paid very handsomely either way. It’s just not they’re getting exactly huge amounts. And in some ways, yeah, I don’t know. I don’t like this. Like you’re saying Chris should have demanded a trade. That’s not his look in some ways. So he should have demanded a trade. I don’t know about that. Trucker Cass is saying, “Good morning, Lex from Rap Free Crew. I’m excited we got Mamu. Finally got a decent stretch big and a good backup center.” This is good. This is a good combo. And hopefully both of them stay as healthy as possible this whole entire year. That’s right. That’s what we want. Good to see you, Trucker. Cass Shaq Lindsay’s here. Turner was upset that Pascal got a max deal and they only offered him 20 to 25 million a year. Turner did them a favor on his last contract. He signed by lump summing his contract in one year. Interesting. That’s more background on things. Of course, I’m not Pacers freak, so I don’t know the whole history of Miles Turner’s contracts with the Indiana Pacers. Some of his checks, from what I’m hearing, I don’t know. Miles is jealous of Pascal making more money than him. Well, he should make more money than you, Miles. He’s a better player. He should fy saying Blackhawk numero uno fat fanatico. Fanatico. That’s what it is right now. Yeah, Blackhawk number one. 125 points now. I don’t even know how he’s gaining points. Kareem has 125. Coolcat has 125. She’s in third. Seymour has 75. So, I don’t know how you guys are getting points. What are y’all doing? I have no idea what the system is. This is so weird, man. Uh, let’s see. Uh, Cool Cat’s uh or Seymour saying Cool Cat should be on that list, too, alongside with Stargate. What do you mean what list? What list of what? I don’t know which list. What are you talking about? Uh, Cool Cat saying, uh, I see Yakob play 20 to 25 minutes and Mamu filling in the gap. That’s a good backup structure. I could see Yakob playing 30 minutes, maybe. Uh, Mamu is playing uh 10 minutes or 15 minutes. Let’s say 15. And then there being like a weird three minutes where Scotty is the small ball center. Something like that. Yeah, I could see it kind of going like that. Or maybe it’s something like Shamshay or Mo are getting in and playing center for like five minutes a game, too. I think it’s going to go down like that. Maybe 25 to 30 minutes for Yach and then it’ll be like 10 to 15 minutes for Mamu and then it’ll be like the leftovers for a small ball Scott or Jonathan or a Shamsh. That’s what I think’s going to happen there. That’s that’s it right there. I can see it. Let’s see if I’m how exactly right I am. You say 20 to 25. I say 25 to 30 for Yach. 25 to 30. And that may depend on foul trouble too, of course, on gametoame basis. Uh Neil’s saying Chris can’t come back because he’s a 20 million cap hit to the Raptors. Hopefully he can get an MLE elsewhere. Yeah, I don’t know how it works. Like, could we just get him on the MLE now? No. The problem is it’s not even about the money at this point, Neil. It’s about the roster spots. And uh we’re pretty full up. We’re pretty full up. The seats in the van to go to on the field trip are full. There’s not as many seats there. So, it’s not even about the money at this point. It’s more about how many actual roster spots we have. And adding Sandro out of the blue yesterday really kind of messed that all up for Chris, honestly. Shaq Lindsay saying the Pacers did turn her wrong and he turned his back on them. Yeah, I mean, I won’t disagree with their you guys’ takes on this. The the billionaire owners are idiots. And yeah, I can totally get on this. I can get on this with you guys. Uh Neil’s saying, “I probably got the crown for clicking the likes all the time.” Okay. I don’t know what it is, man. But you got that crown, man. I appreciate it. I don’t know if it’s partly because you guys are subscribers. I don’t know. There could be a lot of different reasons. Thank you, Shaq Lindsay, for being a subscriber to my channel, by the way. I see you in green there. I see you in green. Uh Seymour saying, “I think I was expecting more from free agency, but I’m jumping on y’all’s wave. Excited to see what damage we can do this season. Let’s get it.” Yeah, you know, I wasn’t expecting anything in free agency. Like I said yesterday, Raptors fans, shut up. We’re not doing anything. And then all of a sudden, Bobb’s like, “Raptor streak, I’m gonna make you look bad. I’m gonna make you look like you don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m gonna go ahead and get a free agent.” And so they did. They went and got Sandro. And I’m overjoyed about it. I love being wrong when it’s something good like this. Oh, I love being wrong when it’s something good like this. I’m not always right. I’m very wrong all the all the time, but I’m also very right all the time, too. And this one is one where I was very, very wrong yesterday. And thank God, in some ways, I’m very happy they did something like this. Now, if there’s Raptors fans out there, they’re kind of like, “This isn’t good enough. This isn’t enough. All these other teams are doing so much. We’re not doing enough.” Well, shut up because honestly, I didn’t even think we’re going to do this. And this is great. This is fantastic. This is absolutely fantastic. It’s really, really good. Uh Shaq Lindsay saying, “Elijah is the most underrated signing in the second round. Elijah plays a lot like D. Wade. Our team got a lot better defensively.” A lot better defensively. Colin Murray Boils may be the best defensive player in this draft. They’re saying Cooper Flag is, but he’s overhyped. So, I would say maybe Murray Boils may actually be the best defensive player in this draft. Elijah Martin, a total bulldog, one of the strongest guys. They they described Elijah Martin as pound-for-pound, maybe the best player in this in this draft. Like, we’re talking about how si size is it? He’s 6’1 and he’s not a big guy, but he’s got so much muscle and he’s such an insanely crazy athlete. You got to think about that. You got a guy. All right. He’s built like Oshai. Yeah. Oshai. The reason why Oshai is so cool is because Oshai is like right in the middle of strength and speed in some ways. Like he is extremely strong guy for how fast he is and he’s an amazing athlete. Like Abashi is one of the best athletes in the NBA, guys. Seriously, on the down low, he has such great athleticism. Well, a Martin’s like him except smaller. In some ways, they’re very similar kind of player. big huge strong shoulders and arms, but an amazing leaping ability and just a crazy like dog defensive kind of way. And that’s the thing, Elijah Martin is a dog and he’s going to be unleashed on the other teams. He’s going to be a pest and they’re people are gonna hate playing him. I’m telling you right now, they’re going to hate playing Murray Boils. They’re going to hate playing Chucky, too. But they’re really going to hate playing Elijah. Just watch next year. Seriously, I totally hear what Shaq Lindsay is saying. He’s right. This kid may be the pound-for-pound the best player in the draft, pound-for-pound, but he doesn’t have a lot of pounds. That’s part of it. Uh Neil’s saying, “Highlights are a collection of players best moments. You have to dig deeper in their track record.” Oh, I completely agree about this. We talked about this a couple months ago, Stargate. He’s saying that, you know, I don’t like watching the highlights. I like watching regular games. So, you see everything. You see the good and the bad, then the ugly. And I agree with you totally. But, you know what? In some ways, I like watching the highlights because we want to see what their talent level is to consistently do certain things. And when I watch the highlights, sure there’s anomalies. There’s some things that they do maybe once and it just gets caught on the highlight. But if you start seeing a track record on the highlights of different activities he’s doing consistently over and over again on the highlights, then that can be really helpful in understanding the strengths of the player. And that’s really what I was doing when I’m watching this highlight. Sure, you they’re not showing his lumps and his ugly stuff, and there’s stuff out there for sure. But also, I would say this, he’s consistently been a rotation player his whole entire NBA career. And with a big like him, you can fall out of the rotation for not doing your job on defense or not playing correctly all the time. But he has not, for the most part, he has been in the lineup. And he’s never ever kind of shown that he’s not out there completely giving his all and trying to be a winning kind of player for the teams he’s played for already. So, I I agree with you. But do they make a lot of highlights that show bad highlights? No, they don’t, Neil. So, where am I going to go find the bad highlights of Sandro Mamu? They’re not trying to put that foot forward. So, I could go watch a Spurs game, a whole entire Spurs game with him playing it. But why? That’d be a waste of time and I would see all kinds of other plays. And sure, I’d probably see some of his mistakes then. I’d much rather see the good stuff and understand what he does really well that could help us. And then when he comes to the team, well, we’ll see the ugly stuff as it comes and we’ll talk about it then. How about that? But Bobby says I I see him as one of the most capable low tier payment centers in this league right now as far as like he’s an all-around kind of talent that gabs you all kinds of different things in different areas all at once. And he’s honestly like a real uh competitor. He’s not out there wasting time. He’s not out there lolly gagging. He’s getting after it when he hits the court and that’s something I like about him a lot. In fact, it’s weird because he’s a center and he kind of has a Vinnie Microwave Johnson kind of thing where they expect him to come in and start scoring as soon as he comes off the bench. It’s a little bit like Chris Buchet in that way. Some ways he’s got a lot of what Chris Buché gave us, but he’s bigger and he’ll be able to hold strength down low and he’s a true center and that’s the difference. He can give some of the stuff that Chris gave us already. Chris is a better offensive rebounder and maybe slightly better three-point shooter. But, uh, other than that, a lot of the stuff that Chris gives us, uh, maybe a better outside shot blocker, too, for Chris. Yeah. Let’s see. Star saying, I said go back to Portland, Dame. I don’t see that happening. That’d be weird. If he does, though, that would be really kind of telling that he misses his family and his old life and maybe he’s going to try and reconcile with his ex-wife. I don’t know. I don’t know. At least it’ll give him proximity to his children and that may actually be more valuable than we think. Honestly, guys, that may be more valuable to him than we think. Uh Kareem saying it’s crazy watching Mamu Highlights. He loves to finish the his layups with his left and he loves to dunk with his right. He’s left-handed but kind of plays ambidextrous. His tattoos are storytelling. He He’s a lefty. He’s predominantly a lefty, so he’s ambidextrious for sure, but he shoots with his left. But yeah, he has to be able to dunk with his right also. Think about that. Think about that. Uh Stargate saying, “I’m not sold on the Mamu signing, but we will see if he works in Darko’s system. That will be the key.” Well, the thing I like about him is he’s unselfish. He’s a team player and uh the thing is in on offense, in the passing system of Darko, he will fit because he he’s he’s got a high IQ and he’s a guy who can read plays ahead of time. like if you watch his highlights, he’s always reading the play like seconds before things happen. So, he’s very good at being in the right place at the right time. And part of that being able to uh uh uh predict is also predicting where your players uh on your team are going to be going and getting the ball to them. So, there’s been a lot of plays on his highlights that show him showing um uh ahead of time seeing where a teammate might be and getting the ball to them in the right place. That’s timing, that’s passing, that’s play making, that’s basketball IQ that sees the play developing and knowing the winning play to make the right play. So, he has that aspect and that is uh very very good for what Darko does with his offensive system. So, don’t worry about this, man. It’s going to be very very interesting to see. His telegraph is very good. He’s a very good telegrapher. Let’s just put it that way. You know, that’s important Stargate. I know you know old school old basketball head like you knows telegraphing plays like Bird and Magic and uh the greats is very good. It’s more common in the league than it used to be. There weren’t that many players that could telegraph the plays ahead like Magic and Larry and that’s why they were so special, but it’s a way more common trait around the league in certain ways. And uh Mamu’s got it on some level which is good. James is saying a lot of playoff teams can use Buchets hustle big who shoots the three. Yeah, I just in some ways I want it to get resolved for him just so he understands what he’s going into next. I understand that the writing’s on the wall and it won’t probably be with us and it’s sad, but I’m not and uh I want good things for Chris. I love Chris Bucher. I want good things for Chris and he’s very valuable to other teams. He could go somewhere else and be very good for a team for sure. Uh Kareem saying, “Thank you, Coach Pop. Your legend continues. Get got another student of the game.” You know, Sandro didn’t really have much time with Coach Pop. Uh, but he did. He did in his first year more than last year, obviously, because Coach Pop just uh had to leave at a certain point. But yeah, I don’t know. Sandro, it’s not necessarily Coach Pop that’s the biggest influence because a lot of what Sandro learned and he had already was in Milwaukee. Like he’s he’s not he’s progressed because of experience, but in some ways his game hasn’t changed a whole whole lot. He’s play. He’s just as good a player like a Milwaukee as he was on San Antonio in some ways. It’s a weird thing. It’s a weird thing. Shaqa Lindsay saying, “Bobby said he wanted versatile bigs that can not only replace YaKob when he goes to the bench, but can also play off of him.” That’s a very interesting idea. Shaq Lindsay put it in my head about uh YaKob and Sandro on the court at the same time. If we’re playing a team like Cleveland with Allen and Mobly, this may be a very smart decision. Now, what happens when you do that? And I’m giving Shaq Lindsay a dunk for a very very cool comment and making me think about this is that uh Yakob obviously stays the center but Sandro goes to power forward and in some ways it’s a very big lineup and it’s very very interesting. Uh the mobility of both of them allows for this. They’re not lumbering centers. That’s a great thing. Both of them get up and down the court really fast. Some things with centers is one of the biggest problems is they just don’t get up and down the court very well. like that big dummy Joel Embiid and uh well Sandro and YaKob sprint and we’ve seen Yakapurle run up and down the court for a man his size like last year very very determined and getting up the court fast. Sandro is that same kind of guy. He has that kind of momentum and running that he will not be slowing us down. In fact, he might be running on the wings ready to throw down alioops in all kinds of ways too. So it’s gonna be awesome and it’s uh and it’s a great one-two punch at center for the Raptors this year. really is. Stargate saying, “I wonder if Chev is gonna make a video on Sandro’s signing.” Laugh out loud. I don’t know. I wish Chev the best. I just wish he’d get his head out of his ass on Scotty Barnes. That’s all I got to say on that. Yeah, Milbster is here. Nick Freak, what’s up? You got Yabui on your team. The great French player is coming to New York, baby. Let’s see what’s up. Uh Milbster saying, “Good morning, Lex. Who is this Sandro guy? You played him. Come on now. Pay attention.” Raptor sign. Uh thoughts on that? I’m just glad we upgraded our bench with Jordan Clarkson who was on the trade rumors with us last season. Good off the bench. You know, I Jordan Jordan Clarkson’s a cool player. Like he’s a very quality scorer, but I don’t think he’s a very good basketball player overall. Like it’s weird. He’s kind of like one of these scorer guys that kind of is like he’s exciting to watch and he makes big shots, but there’s something weird about him and winning. There’s something that’s not exactly right. Not exactly right. I don’t know. I want to respect Jordan Clarkson. I know that he’s a prized player for the Filipino team and I don’t want to piss anybody off, but also at the same time, Jordan Clarkson is one of these kind of players that’s kind of like I don’t want I don’t know who I should call and be like maybe Bradley Beal is the kind of player and then you can understand what I’m talking about. I don’t know. He’s a very aggressive player. He’s dangerous. He’s been in the league a long time, but I would temper your expectations on what he’s going to add to the Knicks and whether he’s going to make y’all better. I don’t totally understand the signing honestly for you guys. I really don’t. And uh some of the guys leaving and the guys coming in. I don’t know if that’s upgrade for you guys. I’m just gonna say that. I’m not sure. I would say Yabelli is a better signing for you guys than Clarkson in some ways. I don’t know. I don’t know. Mamu, I’ve been talking about him. Hopefully, you’ve been getting the answers on him from us talking about him already. Uh Trevor St. Kendrick wants off of Bill wants wants off on Bill Simmons for uh taking about taking about the Raptors. Okay. All right. There’s a feud between Ben Sim Bill Simmons and Kendrick Perkins because Kendrick said he thinks the Raptors are top six team in the East next year and going to be in the playoffs. And well, Bill Simmons does not see that Celtics fan and hater. And well, honestly, I’d be more worried about your team than the Raptors next year, Bill. Honestly, without Tatum and now losing a lot of key players, including Holiday and Porzingis, y’all are gonna be very much not that good next year. And honestly, I’m gonna say this right now, and if I was Kendrick Perkins, I would do this deal right now. Turn around and tell Bill Simmons, I will take the Raptors finishing better than the Celtics next year in the standings. Better than them record-wise. Yeah, seriously. They’re already talking about trading uh Jaylen Brown right now, too. So, how far will this change in the Celtics go? And it’s the new CBA, the new uh tax structure that’s destroyed a Celtics championship team within two years of it, which is fantastic. I love it. Ah, but I would do that perk. Yeah, put your money where the mouth is and go ahead and take us ride with us this season against the Celtics and tell Bill Simmons is straight up. I’ll take the Raptors to finish before higher than the Celtics in the standings. And people would say, “You’re crazy, Lex. You think that could happen this year?” Yeah, you’re right. I do think that could happen. In fact, I’ll make that prediction right now. The Raptors are going to finish higher in the Atlantic division than the Boston Celtics next season. Yeah, that’s right. No Al Horford there no more. He’s in Golden State. There’s a lot of changes in Boston. And everybody who just expects Boston to just be Boston and continue to be Boston after all Boston players leave. Yeah, it ain’t gonna happen. I don’t care if you still got uh Derek White and Jaylen Brown and some crazy ass [ __ ] rumor that the Raptors tried to get Derry White. We did not try to get Derrick White. That’s absolute horsep trying to get Derek White. Absolute horses crap. And all the Raptors fans who believe the Derek White trade rumor, you’re idiots. Don’t listen to our haters make up [ __ ] about us. If it didn’t happen, it didn’t happen because it wasn’t gonna happen. That’s what I gotta tell everybody. They’re using that Derek White rumor to try and make the Raptors look bad. Oh, they tried to get Derrick White, but they didn’t come correct. It It’s It’s all really uh uh ugly and toxic. And Raptors fans, don’t believe that [ __ ] about Derrick White. Seriously, don’t believe it. It’s not true. It is not true. We did not Why would we want to get Derek White? We don’t need him on our team. We have IQ. It doesn’t make any sense if you really think about it. Why would we trade for Derek White? That doesn’t make any [ __ ] sense in the world. Seriously. And then they were saying, “Oh, the Raptors tried to come with this deal and it wasn’t good enough.” No, we wouldn’t even want that. And then Boston fans were trying to say, “This is what we want if you want Derek White.” And we’re like, “We’re not even asking you for Derek White. Y’all are making up all this [ __ ] on your own. Seriously, Raptors fans, they’re making [ __ ] up and y’all are believing it. So, stop believing trade rumors. If it hasn’t happened, don’t believe it. Seriously, because there’s so much [ __ ] and it’s all [ __ ] Trust me, it’s all [ __ ] Uh Neil’s saying, “I agree that a more experienced center than common is needed because we are on Scotty’s timeline. We cannot wait three years to groom a center because we got to go on now.” Yeah. Yeah. And Shamshay is the last guy in the line to come and show up and be that last piece when we get the championship. And in some ways, we can’t wait for Common. We can’t wait for this or that. In some ways, we’re on a timeline right now. Yeah, I’ll agree with this. I’ll agree with this. Shaq Lindsay saying that’s why cominate him and Sandro and CNB is there you go. I like that. I like that. Stargate saying I’m thinking that one more wing will probably be moved up to free up salary unfortunately just to be safe with this luxury tax thing. Well, there is a lot of talk in the the Raptors press with Luenberg and Graange that uh by the tax uh trade deadline the Raptors may be shedding some uh money at some point. But this is something we don’t need to worry about till halfway through the season. So, we’ll just have to see how they do with their financials and some of it may very much depend on how successful Darko and the team are. It may very well have a lot to do with that. If we are absolute badasses and we are just ruling the East for the first half of the season, they may double down and invest in keeping the money in the structure. But they are going to flirt with the the apron and the tax. And in some ways, Bobby’s an expert on this. So, we should feel very capable with Bobby Webster, trusting in him because he’s a salary cap expert. And if anybody’s going to be able to figure out the salary cap and get it done, he is a whiz like Bobby Webster. So, trust in Bobby on the salary cap issues and they’ll figure this out. He’ll do the best thing for us. Trust me, he’s not going to [ __ ] us up with the salary cap. Bobby is so smart on this. This may be his biggest strength as the GM of the Raptors, guys. Uh, let’s see. main keys to a successful productive season, health and dark system understanding, compatibility and functionality. Yeah. And and jelling and growth and uh the guys doing what they’ve already been doing and building off of it and getting to new heights. Yeah. It’s all there. The the chemistry is off the charts. The the players are are really nice fits, most all of them. We’ll have to see more as time goes on. I’m very excited. Very very excited. Milbester saying, “I feel bad for Giannis. The Bucks screwed him over again.” No, they didn’t. They asked him and he wanted this to happen that the whole Dame being waved for Turner. But that’s huge that he went to the Bucks. Pacers got weaker. Knicks upgraded with Clarkson. Yabuselli. That remains to be seen. The last statement you made there. I will agree the Pacers have gotten weaker. And in some ways, you know, listen, this is what happened. Giannis, I think the thing with Dame wasn’t working at all. And Giannis was okay with him leaving and Dame was okay with him himself leaving. So, I don’t think like there’s a whole to-do is like Giannis is upset that they got rid of Dame. Wait, Giannis has asked for them to get rid of Dame. Wait, what is it? That’s what I’m saying. There’s so many stupid rumors out there. Don’t believe Jack [ __ ] I believe this. I believe that Dame is happy he got cut loose because he can go to somewhere he wants to go. I believe that Giannis is happy, too, because the management has changed the roster and got rid of a guy that wasn’t working with him and they’re getting a guy a new guy in. And it gives Giannis a fresh approach to see if well he still wants to be in Milwaukee. So yeah, I I don’t think I feel bad for Giannis. Why would you feel bad for Giannis? He’s an MV NBA MVP and champion and uh he has all the money in the world. Why would you feel bad for him, Mester? Uh they didn’t screw him over. He asked them to move Lillard, just so you know. Uh Milbster saying, “I’m just glad they got Yuelli. They tried to get him off season and signed one-year deal with the Sixers and they missed the playoffs. now he’s here. But yeah, the Bucks are stuck with no picks and hard cap. Yeah, Yabusi wasted a year with Philadelphia. It was uh uh annoying, but you know, in some ways I knew it wasn’t a good fit for him, even though it looked like such a cool signing after the Olympics last year. I think he’ll be better off in New York than Philadelphia for sure, but once again, I don’t know if your team’s gotten better. First of all, your coach is gone. That’s a huge part of why your team’s not going to be better. And then second, Clarkson and Yabuselli aren’t huge upgrades. Let’s just put it this way. They’re not huge upgrades. And in some ways, y’all might have lost more in this off seasonason than you gain. And you may not even realize on the down. And it’s your coach. It’s your coach. You guys really made a bad mistake just like we did when we fired Messiah. It’s absolutely horrible decisions by the management of the New York Knicks and the Toronto Raptors. Uh getting rid of Tom Tibido and Messiahi this off seasonason. very very similar moves that didn’t have to happen, but they happened because people are idiots is basically what it is. Yeah. At least they’re addressing the bench. I just hope they figure out a way to get big Ragu back. Who’s Big Ragu? I don’t even know who that is. Big Ragu. What is that? That’s a pasta sauce, right? Ragu. Are you talking about Danchenzo? Is that his nickname? Ragu. Yeah. See, I wouldn’t make that connection. Just so you know, you you guys call him Big Ragu. Yeah. I don’t I’m not in Nick’s nation. I don’t know your dumb little nicknames and stuff like that. It’s who you mean, right? Is the Venenzo. Is that who it is? Wayne saying, “Morning raptor freaks. A good executive if aware of his preeminent departure will put in irreversible moves, albeit short term, to tie his succession successor’s hands. If a capable deputy is left, it will succeed.” I love what Wayne’s saying here, and I’m going to give him a dunk. And this some way is describing what’s happening with the Raptors right now. In fact, the the Brandon Ingram move makes way more sense even now because of the Messiah firing on Friday because honestly um you know Messiah has made a move for the off seasonason for the Raptors in a huge way with the Brandon Ingram trade and and in some ways that was part of what was happening. The right wing was on the wall. He could see his time was running out and well he was doing things in contingency just in case things went the way they did and they did. And I think that Wayne’s exemplary in what he’s saying right here is a very good descriptor of this. It’s like look, he knew he may need to go, but he wanted to set us up in a good way past him. And with Bobby hopefully continuing his wishes as much as he can in his position and power on the Raptors, the the legacy and the fingerprints of Messiah on our roster build will continue. Will continue. That’s right. Will continue. That’s right. Neil’s saying, “If you want the crown, you have to have to chat more than me.” Woof woof. There you go. This guy Neil’s all about being the top fan. I love it. You know, this makes sense because I’m gonna say this right now. Neil has perfect attendance for Raptor Freak Hangouts in the last two years. Like every single thing we’ve done, Neil has shown up and his face has been there and I love him for it. Whether it’s going to the 905 game, whether it’s Mon’nique’s birthday parties. Yeah, Neil has been in the house and I appreciate Blackhawk for that. So, number one fan. That makes sense. This man’s a big Raptor freak and he’s been at our events and I love that, man. I love that. Keep coming. Seriously, we’re going to do a birthday party at the end of August, uh, early September. That’ll probably be our next hangout, guys. I’ll get the the details u ironed out with uh King from To the Point. We’ll figure it out. Mves saying, “That’s how it was in the 90s, Lex. You had to bust your ass off to get to the finals. No cruise sailing like it is today. I like the NBA making it more competitive. Makes it interesting. Yeah. That’s why it felt more like the 90s this year. That’s why these playoffs were tough and like if you’re soft, you ain’t gonna get there. You got to be a hard ass and you got to know what it takes to win. And you got to be willing to sacrifice your body and do the things as teammates. Sacrifice things for your team to win. That’s the way the NBA always was. When we got in a cushy ass LeBron James era where everybody coasted on talent and superstar [ __ ] and nobody was actually trying and the All-Star game got worse and worse. Well, the better NBA is the one that we have that is in the 90s and the one that these playoffs were like this year. And that’s why I love at right to the best team that wins. The best team is not the team with the highest salary. The best team is the team that busts their ass, plays the best together as a team. And they deserve that Simon Cup right there. That’s right. I’m calling it Simon now. We call it Simon because Simon should have been the commissioner of the NBA instead of Larry O’Brien. That’s right. That’s right. Let’s see. Kareem saying, “Canada needs to annex themselves. [ __ ] America. We are our own country. We don’t need to do that. We don’t need any of that.” That’s right. Let’s see. Kareem saying, “I’m excited to see the summer league ro Raptors. Who do you think that’s on the ro our roster now will be on the summer league team?” Well, there’s been a couple of uh Let me go to Facebook. And Mon’nique is really awesome. Mon’nique is always staying on day up on tap on this. So, um, let’s see what is going on. Uh, Dennis is on. Okay. Yeah. See, this is another reason why I’m like, h, I wish you guys wouldn’t fill this up so much because now I have to go and scan through everything, but it’s okay. This is on Mon’nique’s side of things. Mon’nique is in charge of our Facebook, guys. So, uh, she rules it. If she says something, it’s how it is over there, just so y’all know. Um cuz she’s running the group for me now that I’m gone. All right, here we go. Um no, not that one. We had the roster on here. She posted it. I just have to find it. They got the roster mostly listed. Um damn it. I want to see it. I need to go ahead and get my own spreadsheet made up soon. There’s just so much b so much stuff that’s happening. There’s so many things posted. It’s just really hard to find everything on here. Maybe it’s I’m not even going to try and find it on the Discord. You guys went crazy in there. Um, yeah, I still can’t see it. There’s so many posts in here. So many posts you guys posted so much. And it’s good because it’s like everybody’s sharing stuff and talking about, but Mo’Nique had the roster and I’m seeing how far it is in. It’s so crazy. So, Yonas got traded to the Nuggets yesterday, guys. It’s really weird. Jonas Valentunis got traded the Nuggets, so he’s going to be teammates with Joker, but as I said before, he could still walk away from the NBA and go back to Europe if he wants to. That’s that’s what’s going on. All right. I don’t know if I’m going to be able to find this this roster for s summer league yet because in some ways this is just there’s so much in here, man. There’s so much in here. I can’t find it. This is futile. There’s so much in here. I can’t find that one post Mo’Nique had with the list of who’s on our summer league so far. Anyway, I’ll find it and I’ll get it together. Maybe we’ll do something with it tomorrow for the think tank and something like that. But I would say I’m excited to see Colin Murray Bole because honestly, we got to see him and see what he’s all about. Elijah will be fun, too. Uh we’ve got guys like Grady maybe coming back again. I don’t know if Grady’s actually be at Summer League this year. All the rookies from last year should be back. Jacobe, Aish, Jameson, uh, Jonathan, Jamal, um, Colin Castleton, AJ Lawson, he’ll be in summer league probably, even though he’s a he’s like a four or fiveyear vet at this point. We’ll just have to see. We’ll just have to see who’s there. But Murray Bole is the one we should really be paying attention to the most because he’s more likely to be a rotational player for the Raptors out of anybody, the rookies from last year, too. But uh yeah uh Blackhawks saying shed mobo Jacobe Battle CMBB Martin Chucky. Yeah, Clifford Omarui. Now people asked about Clifford Omarui as far as his status. He’s on exhibit 10 which is basically he’s in the same position as Quincy Gerier last year. So he’s going to be a part of our summer league. He’s going to be a part of our training camp but he’s not going to probably make the team. Uh but he’ll be on 905 like Quincy. So, Clifford Omarui is pretty much slated to be the big on the 905 level, the center for that team. So, yeah, just so you guys know, Kareem saying that Discord is crazy. I came in there and feel like there’s too much post to catch up on, but that’s just me. That’s what I’m saying. I mean, I don’t mind it uh to an extent, but I think that we need to have a conversation channel and then a news channel, and the conversation channel should be the other or the speculative channel. And that’s the thing, that’s too daunting. you guys are writing books in there and it and and for I want it to be friendly for everybody to use and I understand and and I love the interaction. I love there’s people wanting to use it that don’t get me wrong. It’s just that we’ve got to organize it a little bit better. I don’t understand Discord that well yet and Nins is helping me and Mike knows a lot about Discord also and hopefully I can get Logical Rappers fanatic to help me kind of um uh figure out how to do the the rules on Discord a little bit better. Just a little bit. Just a little bit. Like I was saying, we got Chucky. [ __ ] A. Yeah, Chucky. That’s right. Chucky. Chucky. Create another channel in your Discord. Then get chatty about basketball. We did. They’re there. They’re there. We got the basketball channels for basketball news. Other and then speculation is the other channel. So, there’s three there. Mike’s saying, “My bad. I basically gave my cap report from all the changes and won’t be writing as much normal.” Okay, so Mike is here. He can hear me. It’s all good, Mike. We I appreciate your work and I honestly I I enjoy reading your stuff, but it’s heavy. There’s a lot. There’s a lot. I mean, uh it’s just we want to keep news and news and I’ve already gone over this too much. I appreciate you, Mike. I’m going to give you a dunk, honestly, because honestly, you’re very informative and a lot of what you guys are doing is very good. It’s not It’s not It’s just It’s very Especially yesterday, I was like, “Holy crap, y’all are posting a lot in here.” And it’s okay in some ways because this was a busy day yesterday. It’s just there mixed in with your comments. There’s a lot of extra comments that weren’t didn’t really need to be in there. That’s what it is. Your your comments are mostly usually pretty helpful honestly. Neil’s saying, “I’ve seen the other channel. Rename it to world news, so they gravitate to it. There was some uh conversing in other, but they need to be encouraged.” Yeah, other was really made more for politics. like people wanted to post politics stuff, Trump stuff, and I’m like, I don’t want to see it in the basketball channel. So, it’s like kind of just sussing everything out. Mike understands threads and uh Discord. And in some ways, I might get Mike to Mike, maybe I need to make you one of the admins of the uh Discord, and you can start organizing threads because I know you described this before when you came on the Discord is that, oh yeah, the Discords I’ve been on, they have all kinds of very detailed threads where people put the right posts in the right places. So Mike understands the mentality of how Discord should run. So maybe I need that’s the answer. I need to make Mike an admin with Nins and allow him to make changes to the Discord server. I think that’s what I’m going to do. Mike, if you’re okay with it, uh because it would be help helpful. Randolph saying, “Lex and freaks, the rounding up, deaths, separation of families, inhumane treatment, and deportation of those people, and the imprisonment at the dangerous albatross breaks my heart.” Yeah, it’s awful in some ways. If you’re an empathetic, sensitive person, you can feel the cruelty in this world right now. And it’s not it it hurts your heart. It really does. In some ways, we have to pray to God and we have to keep faith that uh in the end, good will win. And that God and uh Christlike behavior will win over evil, satanic behavior that’s happening with the White House and Donald Trump and the policies that he’s trying to make for billionaire class. And uh you know, it’s sad. It’s that sometimes things have to get really ugly and bad to get better. And see, this is the thing. People get radicalized when they suffer. They radicalize when they see people that they love die unnecessarily because healthc care was taken from them. And well, the movement in some ways you want to avoid the suffering and the losses, but sometimes bad things have to happen for people to rise up and take the power back in a positive way. And sadly, it’s looking like it’s going to have to get like this. I mean, we’re going to have to correct things. A lot of things that we do in society are not going to be flying if we’re going to win this. And some of it is corporate mentality and the way capitalism is. We’re going to have to totally redefine how we look at community and earning money and how fair everything should be because it’s been greed at the top and they’ve completely thrown the rulebook out the window and it’s not fair anymore. And in some ways, there should be no taxation without representation. And there’s no representation in either country anymore. We don’t aren’t represented here in Canada either. The corporations are represented by the government. And in some ways, without being represented, we should all stop paying taxes. We should all opt out of the system. We should make them feel it where they feel it the most, and that’s in the money in the pocketbooks. Find ways to be more self-sufficient. Grow your own food. Get more community organized. Talk to your neighbors. Talk to other people. You could have trades and skills and uh things that you produce that you could trade amongst each other, cutting out the the big huge corporate [ __ ] that’s trying to make us more uh dependent on them in every corner. Every little bit of change behavior that each individual makes adds up and more and more and the less we need the corporations, the billionaires, the less we can turn the more we can turn our backs on them, the more they will feel the pain. So if we don’t participate less and we less and less participate over time, they will feel it more and more. Trust me. Trust me. So yeah, this this is where it’s going. And we in some ways it’s like it’s going to be hard. It’s going to be tough. There’s going to be suffering. There’s going to be sadness. There’s going to be absolute uh wrong things happening. But people need they may need to light a fire under their asses with motivation from suffering. And I hate that it has to get to that point, but it it’s probably going to be that way for sure. Kenna saying, “I like the new uh forward center we got.” Yeah, I do too. Kenny, original raptor freak. Kenna, one of the top five original Raptor Freaks. He was like one of the first people that started watching my channel. One of the very first top five cool cat saying, “I kept saying why did NBA players vote for that type of CBA?” But they did. They they not ready. They did they not ready? Did they I don’t understand that. Did the money people not understand their risk of money loss in by the new MCBA? I think that what happened is is very much once again that the the certain echelon the highest class in the NBA were kind of running the players union and CJ McCullum I think he was in charge. He totally sold out the lower classes of the middle class of the NBA and uh they ratified it because oh they all think just like we all do, oh someday I’ll be that top player in the league and get that big money. Oh, I’ll be a billionaire one day. You can’t change the rules before I get to there. So in some ways that’s part of the myth that they teach everybody. It’s like, oh, you shouldn’t be after billionaires because you could be one someday. So what did they tell the players the same thing? uh Kool Cat, you shouldn’t be against us making so much money and the middle class being snuffed out because you could be one of us one day when it’s not realistic for most of those players or the majority of like 99.9% of population becoming a billionaire from nowhere. So, I’m just saying it’s the same lies that they tell general society that they probably told the players when they voted for that CBA right there. Right there. uh logical saying the new CBA is key to health expansion. 36 need jobs, new jobs, health expansion. Okay, they have better they did get better things on the side like maybe some of the better things like with their uh their pension and their health and stuff like that. I think that makes sense. I think that makes sense. All right, I lost my place. Let me find it again. It was Mike Coolcat. Uh Coolcat into Mike. Um okay. Uh let’s see. Coolcat saying CBA leads uh to team expansions but eliminates the middle class NBA players. I don’t know about the trade-offs. Billionaires never lose is what I know for sure. Laugh out loud. Well, that’s why in some ways we can’t have the government run by billionaires for billionaires like the United States is right now because they’ll absolutely gut the quality of life for everyday citizens. And uh that’s why the system’s absolutely broken. Capitalism is broken. Everybody thinks capitalism is just a perfect system, you’re [ __ ] wrong. that uh people cannot be trusted to be running humanistically from the top with greed involved and uh the system’s totally destroyed and in some ways we’re running in the last legs of it and we’re going to see it all fall apart very soon and it’s going to be really really crazy honestly it’s going to be really really crazy. So yeah, being dumb and thinking, oh, capitalism is the best system in the world. You were wrong and it’s just as bad as communism and it’s just on a different timeline to fail and we’re very close to the demise of the system of capitalism because it’s absolutely a horrid system that cannot be trusted. Humans have faults. We’re absolute megalomaniacs and egotists and we do not care about other people enough for capitalism to be responsibly used. So yeah, we’re screwed. We’re screwed. And in some ways, capitalism deserves to die because of what the ends it’s going to get us to very soon. And what’ll happen is, like I said, there’ll be millions and billions of people lost. There will be all kinds of crazy confusion and destruction in this world probably for decades. And what’ll happen from the ashes of everything, people will be so pissed off about what caused everything that there will be a reverse going the other way. And in fact, we may have a totally dramatically different society. It could be very much more like Star Trek, thank God, by that point. But all the pain and misery and loss and suffering we could have avoided if we’ just been more humanitarian in the world we have right now. Yeah, that’s what’s going to happen, guys. I I don’t have to be that smart to understand what’s happening. That that that we can’t stop this at this point. And it’s evidenced by the actions of the United States government right now and the branches of their government totally bought and paid for by billionaires. And don’t get it twisted. Our country here is just as much under the uh thumb of billionaires and cor corporations here. The Doug Ford is not governing for the people. He’s governing for corporations and billionaires. And a lot of the you know, even Carney is the same thing. He’s not for the people either. He’s he’s going to have a middle tax break. All this stuff, none of these people are actually real ones. And then you see a real politician is for the people like the guy who’s running for mayor in New York. And you see the Democrats turning on him just as much as the Republicans because it’s about establishment and it’s about billionaire class keeping billionaires uh uh on top and making even more crazy amounts of money while other people all die and suffer and well if y’all can’t see that the battle is a class war. Well, and Zohan and what he’s trying to do, we need to support people like him. That’s what I’m saying right here. Bernie Sanders type of people that are not compromised by corporate interests. And well, every other politician that takes corporate money or is involved in corporations, well, we’re not going to be all about that. At a certain point, there will be a a evening out and this will all fall apart and what I described a couple minutes ago will happen. Yep. Let’s keep going. All right, let’s see. Uh Mike’s saying, “The high class is not getting maxes so they can pay pay better role players.” Okay. Uh, off for a meeting. We’ll tune in later. All right. Cool cat. Great to have you in the chat. Number three on the top fans chart. Uh, Blackhawk saying they probably held back Elijah to manipulate the cap with Mamu’s signing. The cap can’t block Elijah’s signing. We We don’t need to speculate about this. Elijah Martin’s in a special position because in some ways, first of all, he’s a second round pick, which we keep rights to him for that. Uh, also it there’s very much a chance, this is the thing, that he could go to summer league and he plays so badly at summer league that that we cut him even though we just drafted him. So, it’s it’s things like that, okay? It’s that we’re not totally throwing my our hat in the ring with him. Chucky’s a safe thing to put on right now. Collins definitely committed as a a lottery pick at number nine, but there’s no guarantees that Elijah Martin has a path like Jamal Shed. And uh that’s the thing that that that’s the symbol of it. It may be very well be that we’re not going to sign him until after summer league. We have to give him a try out in summer league. We have to see what kind of person he is more and his personality if he fits with our team before we invest in him in a rookie contract. So that’s probably more what it is. Neil is that what I’m talking about right there. Uh Mike saying is on a minimum holding back Martin. it is maybe two-way him and look at Buchet or another player to be on the big club. I don’t know. I don’t know if they two-way him. I’d rather them two-way AJ and keep him and uh just allow uh uh Martin to be like shed last year and flipping as a rookie between the two teams. More more on 905 than on the Raptors. We’ll see what happens with Elijah Martin. It may be some of the timing did have to do with uh Mamu. It maybe some of that. Yeah. Uh, let’s see. Turner frontloaded a renegotiated a deal with Indie last time. Okay. Yeah. Yeah, that we already said that. Uh, Blackhawk saying, “Y’all want this crown. Come get it.” I see Cool Cat rising up. Look at Neil really feeling good about a thing that didn’t exist yesterday. I didn’t put it in and I don’t even know if I want I care about it. And he’s talking trash about it. That’s awesome, man. I love that. Mike saying, “Bouche has bird rights and we’re not going to hit the second apron. Buché would cost like two million more than Martin on a regular contract. Maybe two-way G-Leagueing Martin works this year. Who knows? We’ll just have to see. Stargate’s calling Martin a smaller Norman Pal. I think he’s a smaller OSI. I think it’s more Oshai. They’re similar and what you’re saying, but it’s not that the thing about Martin is he’s not really totally an offensively well-rounded player. He’s not totally well offensive player. He’s really an athlete in some ways. He’s very Russell Westbrookesque. uh he’s not necessarily a super great shooter. Let’s just put it that way. He’s a very good athletic player and he’s a very good defender. So, he’s better on the defensive end of the floor than the offensive end. In some ways, we shouldn’t be looking to Elijah Martin to score a lot of points. Let’s just put it that way. So, that’s why I would disagree with the Norman Powell uh uh comparison. It’s more like OSI in a way, but OSI is showing more of his offense in the years last year. But think about Oshai before that when he was just kind of really just like a strong dude who could run around fast. Um let’s see. Uh Trevor saying the rich gonna get richer and the poor gonna get poor. Yeah. And it’s going to squeeze more people that were in the middle down to the poor. It’s not going to be upward mobility. There’s going to be more and more downward mobility in general for people. There will be very supersonic upward mobility for people like Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg. And uh yeah, it’s awful. It’s absolutely awful. It’s incontionable. It’s absolutely theft. You know, they are they are the more criminals than any pickpocket or any looter or any burglar or any person like that. Wage theft and billionaire class theft is way way worse for the world and way more criminal. It’s just not stigmatized as much because they pay so much money in PR firms to make it not look so bad and cover it up and do all kinds of stuff like that. That’s right. Uh Tristan saying, “Good problem to have too many good players.” Yeah. Well, we’ll see. I don’t know. We’ll see. We’ll see what happens, how it’s managed. Uh James is saying, “Nuggets really upgraded in free agency. They’re a top team in the West.” I don’t agree with this. I really don’t. It’s like they’re they’re coming back around to get Bruce Brown. I I don’t know if Yonas is actually going to report, guys. I could see Yonas saying, “Yeah, guys, I I I love y’all, but I’m going to walk away from $10 million because I want to go home to Lithuania and I want to play in my home country.” There’s still a strong possibility of that. So, don’t count your chickens that Jonas Valentunis is showing up to Denver because he said earlier this summer he might go back to Europe. And uh even though it sounds like I’m wrong about this, Mon’nique saying you were wrong about Yonas. I may not be wrong still. The only thing that happened is Yonas got traded. It wasn’t his decision. The Sacramento Kings traded him to Denver. That doesn’t mean that Jonas still wants to play in the NBA. It’s his personal decision. May be is like, you know what, guys? Thanks. I know I’m owed10 million dollars for next season, but I don’t care about money at this point. I want to get the [ __ ] out of the dumpster fire the US is, and I’m going back to Lithuania to play in Europe. I mean, that could still happen. Let’s not get it twisted. I do not have any faith in the Denver Nuggets. I really don’t. They’ve been on a decline since their championship and they’re trying to reclaim old people from their team before. No, they just lost Michael Porter Jr. Now, I agree Cam Johnson’s a better player than Michael Porter Jr., but they’re they’re changing and they’re not the same team and they have a totally different coach now. And I I I would not have any faith in the Denver Nuggets next year. I think that other teams around them have gotten way better and that’s the Spurs, the Rockets, the Clippers. Uh these teams have gotten better in this off season and the Nuggets are not moving up like you think they are. I’m sorry. I’m going to disagree. I’m going to disagree with that one. Uh Koy saying, “Morning Lex and our Raptor Freak fam. Been in and out of the doctors lately. I hate that. Uh, fingers crossed for you for sure. Uh, stoked by the Mamu signing and yacht extension. Bobby has our backs. [ __ ] P and Ed Rogers. There you go. Koy, you get a dunk for a [ __ ] Keith P. That’s right. Keith P, [ __ ] you. That’s right. Koy said it and Santino would say it too when he’s old enough and he can use that language. He will. He will use it too. He will know the story from his father later on in life. Yes. And there was this horrible man named Keith Py and he fired the great Messiah. And well, Koy’s got 55 dunks now. Yeah, that’d be awesome, man. I want to hear Santino say [ __ ] Keith Belly someday. Star saying I think the appeal of Sandro is that he can playmake. So Darko can run the same plays that they run with Yach through him. Those halfcourt top the key stat sets. Yeah. And like I said, he has a familiarity with uh RJ as teammates in high school. They’re going to be reunited and that’ll make things a lot easier in the transition. And you know, Mont Verde is a a bonafide carrying card for Scotty. Scotty has more respect for guys who went to the high school that he went to. So if you went to that high school, you got an in with Scott right away. Yeah, he’s a he’s an okay passer. He’s not a bad passer. And we’ll just have to see how it all works. He won’t be the same as Yach. Yak is on another level, but he won’t be that much of a downgrade. Tristan saying, “We have Castleton, Yak, Alrich, Clifford, and Mamu as potential centers. That looks good to me.” Yeah, it’s fleshed out way better as of yesterday and just getting Sandro. Yeah, it’s fleshed out way, way better. In fact, I think Castleton’s disposable at this point, guys. I don’t think Castleton’s going to be on our team next year. Yeah, James is saying Clarkson is kind of like Trent. I think that Yeah, I mean, you can make I think that Clarkson’s more of a classic kind of scorer, like an Alex English, like a a Rolando Blackman from the back years of the NBA. And uh the thing about Clarkson is he’s so talented and he scores so much, but he’s also kind of one of these guys that takes away from the rest of the team because he’s so high volume usage. And in some ways, if he’s not on, you’re screwed. That’s part of the problem. And some of the teams that he’s been on recently, like Utah, he’s had to be so dependent on to carry the team. But if he’s not making his shot, it’s like D’Angelo Russell. Let’s just put it that way. That’s a great comparison for Jordan Clarkson. D’Angelo Russell. Those guys are very similar players. Right there. Right there. A little bit more higher level than Gary in some ways is what I’m saying. Jordan Clarkson and D’Angelo. A little bit higher level. Wayne saying not up to date with names being thrown around. Who is Mamu? I’m thinking Sandro and you guys using his last name as well. Enlight me please. Yeah, Mamu is Sandro. Sandro. Mamu. All right. I want to say it right. I I have to keep practicing it, especially if I’m going to be saying his name on this channel all the time. Sandro, Mamu, Kelash, Villi, Sandro, Mamu, Kellashi. Mamu, Mamu is the short form of his last name. So when we say Mamu or Sandro, it is the same person. Just so you know, Wayne. Uh, let’s see. Mamu is short for Mamu. All right, I want the pronunciation. Mamu Kashi. Mamu Kalashi. Yeah, just say it a bunch of times. Mamu Kalashi. Mamu Kalashi. Sandro Mamu Kalashi. Sandro Mamu Kalesi. There you go. There you go. Uh, let’s see. Uh, Mike saying, “Sandro Mamu was signed by the Raptors for 2.7 million per year for two years.” Yeah, it’s a great deal. Great, great deal. Sandrew Mamu Kashales. Yeah, Matt Delin gets a hoot hoot in pronouncing his full name. He’ll get it. He’ll get it. You know, he’ll get it. He’ll practice it just like me. You’ll probably be at home saying it just like me in a mirror. Sandro Mamu Kalashi. Sandro Mamu Kalashi. Mamu Kalesi for three. He’s gonna practice his his calls, man. You know, in some ways, that’s what it is right there. Sandro Mamu Kalesi. Yeah, for sure. He’s going to learn it. And you know, Herby’s going to get that pronunciation. He’ll even probably go into Georgian dialect to try and get it exactly right and get all of the pronunciation all the out in it. I’ll bet you that’s what he does for Chris Musher. That’s what he did for Dennis. You know, he’s going to do it for Sandro, too. Watch Herby. Herby the great Raptors legend. Herby, that’s right. We love you, Herby. Herby [ __ ] That’s right. Let’s go. Messi Stargate saying, “When it comes to Bobby, I say this. You cannot work with a man like Messiah Jeria and not have some things rowing off on you. Asked Theresa Rush. Oh, for sure. I mean, some people were saying this on Raptors Reddit and I’m like, wait, what? Uh, hello. There was a Raptor’s Reddit post. It’s like, I wonder if Bobby used Messiah as his mentor in the years that he was with him in Raptors. Um, why are you even wondering that? Yes. Hello. What? You think he’s wasting his time working next to him this whole freaking time? Of course he is mentoring him. Of course he was learning from him. I mean, is water wet? Is the sky blue? For right now, it is. I’m just saying like anybody who’s like, I wonder if uh Bobby Webster was mentored by Messiah over 13 years of working with him. Of course he was. I mean, in some ways, Bobby Webster is going to be able to answer what would Messiah do better than anybody else in this world right now. Seriously, what would Messiah do, Dan? What would Messiah do if he was still here, Dan? Uh, you know what he would do, Bobby? Yeah, you’re right. I do because I worked with him for 13 years. [ __ ] you, Keith Belly. We don’t need Messiah, but we Messiah is still here living through us and our brains. That’s right. We love you, Messiah. We do need you. We do need you. Wayne saying, “Why the [ __ ] Stargate using interchangeable names? I have a lady in Monaco to straighten you out, Stargate. I’m using interchangeable names. I’m sorry, Wayne, if we confuse you. Just know Sandro Mamu is the same person. I may call him Sandro Mamu. I may call him just Sandro. I may just call him Mamu. That’s common with where he’s gone so far. Whether it’s Milwaukee, San Antonio, the fans have done the same thing. The announcers have done the same thing. They call him Mamu. The Spurs announcers Mamu for three. You know, it’s stuff like that. the Bucks announcer. Sandro dribbling across the court, brings it up to the wing. You know, they use both names. There’s it’s his first and last name. You could do that. We use Grady and Dick. We try not to use Dick so much, but we use Grady as enough. It was like, so what’s the big deal here? We can use both names, right? Right, Wayne? Come on now. Come on now. James is saying next season is gonna be some good basketball. I hope so. Hope so. As long as we’re healthy, it will be. That’s right. That’s right. Uh Trevor saying NBA Chev just put out a video on Yak. Okay, good. Hopefully he’s he’s back in the lines and uh coming correct and not being all crazy. That’s what we want. That’s right. Sandro Mamu Sandre Mamu Mamu Luci. That’s right. Mamu Lucelli is a handful to say. Oh yeah. And Josh Loomberg was joking about it on Blue Skies yesterday. It may take a little while for us to learn how to spell his name correctly. So we’re just going to put Sandro Mamu for right now. That’s right. There you go. start saying, “I guess I just stick to calling him one name.” I don’t know. No, you can do whatever you want. John Benet Ramsay, you know, call people multiple names, you know, like what is it like it’s not a symbol like Prince and it’s not some crazy ass long ass seven name or something like that like some people have. My name is Jonathan Winter 8 Edward 4th 89 10 43 color blue ed four Jenkins. What the [ __ ] name is that? You got eight names. What the [ __ ] name is that? No, I think two names is fine. I think Wayne can handle two names. Just understand Mamu is Sandro. It’s so funny. Oh, this is all just tongue and cheek. You guys know that. Yeah. Mike saying, “If we make the playoffs, pay 10 million into the first apron is nothing, and we have enough expiring money to be back under next summer.” There you go. Mike the Caps expert for our channel is saying, you know, this is good business planning and we’re gonna be in good shape. We got to be successful this year. Make the playoffs and kick as much ass as possible. Scotty Barnes, that’s what we’re saying right here. That’s right. Koy saying, “Exactly. Paying our starting five quality money is a gamble. A gamble that will determine if Bobby and Darko stay long-term.” Yeah, don’t bring this [ __ ] up. Koy, don’t remind them and all this stuff. We don’t need no pressure like this. The pressure was off when Larry was owner, but the pressure is on with King Ed the third. In some ways, we need to Yeah, I remember this, but in some ways, let’s not keep reminding it every once in a while. We all know the pressure is there. We don’t need to bring it up. [ __ ] Ed Rogers. That’s what I’ll say to that. That’s right. Uh Fiery saying, “Thanks for the correction.” As on Gary Trent, fam, 2.5 million is crazy. Yeah, that’s how much he’s making. 2.5. He signed with them, but that’s just the new NBA. And it’s symbolic of the real world, too. Watch Isaac saying, “When is Messiah going to speak?” Have a good day, folks. I don’t know. And Keith P said he you expect to hear from him at some point. Whether he meant he’s going to be going to a press conference and a new job or whether he meant he’s going to have an interview within a magazine or something like that and he’ll come out with his side of the story. Whether he meant that he’s going to be doing a Giants of Africa event and he’s going to get in a press scrum and he’ll talk then. I don’t know when they met. When Ke says, “I’m sure you’ll hear from Messiah soon at some point.” I don’t know when it is, Isaac. I don’t know what it is. He’s not an official entity on any uh thing other than Giants of Africa at this point. So, maybe when they had the Giants of Africa uh uh uh stuff in Africa coming up next month, maybe that’s when we’ll hear from Messiah. I’m not totally sure. Uh benevolent one. I can only speculate when we will hear words come from Yugjiri’s mouth finally once again in a public way speaking on you know his dismissal recently. Uh, Mike’s saying big ragu lol. Is he talking about soft cat? I don’t know who he’s talking about. I don’t know if he meant uh denenzo. I think he means denenzo. I think they mean him because his hair is red and they’re like making it pasta sauce, but we don’t know your dumb bad bang [ __ ] Nick’s Nation, we don’t know your [ __ ] Bada bang. I don’t know who Big Ragu is. You talk you talking about some pasta sauce. Okay, get your pasta sauce. Go to the store. Go to a local store and buy a local good and not from a corporation. You don’t need ragu. You need a lower a lower level. Ah, all right. Sergey saying Cleveland seems to be running it back. I don’t see that. I don’t see that. I think Cleveland failed. They were a a regular season team, a huge success. In fact, they were like the Raptors in the Demar Kyle years. Absolutely fantastic regular season, horrible playoff team. Why? They lost to the Pacers. They shouldn’t have lost the Pacers. They should have won against the Pacers with the talent they had. But no, they folded because in some ways the new NBA doesn’t like miragages, false teams that seem like they’re very good teams because of great regular season records. But when it gets to playoff season, the real season, the hit the ground uh and get on the floor season, the the real season, the the Cavaliers became pretenders. In some ways, I’m shocked that they’re blowing up their team as much as they have. They kept it together. Maybe they do better, but no, they’re losing people like Tai Jerome, George Yang. They’re losing key players, and they’re bringing in other players, and I don’t totally trust the other players they’re bringing in with the players they’re losing. Let’s just put it that way. Tyrone Jerome is a big loss for them going to Memphis Grizzlies. Big big loss. I don’t understand that one exactly. You saying they’re running it back in some ways by looking at them. Yeah, maybe they are one of the teams that are more in uh intact at the top of the Eastern Conference from last year, but that don’t mean they’re running it back because they’re making some minor changes and they could get hurt, too. And there’s all kinds of things could happen to Cavaliers this season, which I hope happen to them, to be honest. I hope they all happen to them. That’s right. Woof woof. There you go. Uh Stargate saying Mike Malone and Messiah were the biggest dumb moves in my opinion. Then Tibs Malone’s a pretty dumb one, too. Yeah, but I you know what? We don’t know how fractured things were and there was some uh real smoke that’s saying that his his relationship with Calvin Booth was irreparable and in some ways the other thing that they were saying about Mike Malone was he had lost the players in the locker room. I think he lost Nicola. Nicola was not about him being such a drill sergeant anymore. You know how Nicola Joic is. He’s a big funlo loving guy. And now if he’s gonna have his friend Yonas coming in, they may be some two big goofy fun loving guys for the Denver Nuggets this year, unless Yonis goes back to Europe. And uh yeah, Michael Malone, drill sergeant, like his father, Brandon, that style of coach is just not popular in today’s NBA with a very much powerful players. And in some ways, Malone rubbed the players the wrong way. It’s it makes more sense that Malone got fired than Tibido or Messiah. Just so you know, it does. Fiery saying, “Uh oh, I lost my crown.” I guess woof woof it is. Now you’re in second, Fiery. I will have to see what happens here. So, you guys are dogging it out here. James is saying, “Lex, what’s your other ball team you root for other than the Raptors?” It’s the Spurs. It’s definitely the San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs are my favorite Western Conference team since the 80s. In fact, I’ve been a Spurs fan longer than I’ve been a Raptors fan. I’ve been a Spurs fan since 1987 or something like that. And I’ve been a Raptors fan since 94. So yeah, it’s the Spurs. It’s definitely the Spurs are my number one team. That’s why I love WBY. That’s why I’m very happy with the Spurs getting better and I want to see them do very well and win the Western Conference. That’s right. Koy saying we got our own James Dolan now. Goddamn it. Yeah, that’s pretty accurate. That’s pretty accurate and unfortunately true. And yeah, and hopefully uh you know what I would say to Ed Rogers III is prove me wrong. Be a better owner than we think you are. Make us presently surprised because you do invest in the teams for winning. Make us pleasantly surprised because the Raptors continue to be their own brand and kick so much ass and the legacy of Messiah stays intact. Make us pleasantly surprised. You have the opportunity at the third. You do. I can be wrong and I’d love to be wrong about you. Please make me wrong about you. That’s what I’m daring you to do. I think you’re just a piece of [ __ ] But you could prove me wrong if you do certain things to help this team still win. I’ll just say that right now. And James Dolan’s pretty bad. Let’s not let’s hope he’s not as bad as James Dolan. Let’s just put it that way. Cut off. Thank you, Trevor, for the cut off. And the classic cards coming up. Classic cards coming up. Milster saying Nuggets got a good offseason going, Lex. They got Valenunis. They got Cam Johnson from the Nets. And Bruce Brown coming back to the Nuggets. He was a big part of their title off the bench. I know. I know about Bruce Brown. In fact, he he should have never left the Nuggets. He should have been on the Nuggets this whole time in these last couple years. And he’s very happy to be back in the Nuggets. His tattoo makes more sense in some ways. I I’m going to disagree with you guys still. I’m going to disagree with you guys. I think that the Nuggets are still on a decline from their championship year and they’re not going to be better this year coming up. In fact, they may be a lot more noticeably worse. Trust me, just watch. Some of it may have to do with uh the health of Murray. Some of it may have to do with the departure of Michael Porter Jr. Some of it may have to do with uh the fact that you guys are overvaluing three guys on this list. Cam Johnson should be a huge huge help. But Valenunis and Bruce Brown, they’re not going to help him that them that much. They’re not. They really won’t. Watch. See Stargate stand. All these billionaires know each other. They all run in the same social circles whether it’s be vacation spots or diddy type parties. Yeah. And there really are they’ve got their [ __ ] together and trying to to push us all down and [ __ ] us up, man. Seriously, there’s some benevolent billionaires who are absolutely hate this whole thing that’s going on and they shouldn’t be included with them. They think that they should be taxed properly. People like Mark Cuban, people like Warren Buffett, people like Bill Gates. These are people that want to be taxed and pay their fair share and they very vocally publicly about it. But there’s a lot of criminals that are billionaires that want to get shrink sherk on their taxes, not have to pay jack [ __ ] not pay their fair share for things. In fact, this is the biggest crime of the whole thing is they’re painting immigrants as criminals, but immigrants have been paying into social security for years and years. This is the biggest scam in the world. They pay and they get none of it in the end. They’re actually paying into social security system that we benefit off them. like we’re leeching off of them and they don’t ever get the possibility to earn any social security in the end. It’s one of the biggest scams in the world. In some ways, this is partly the reason why Social Security will go insolvent in years coming up because they’re taking some of the workforce that was paying into Social Security that wouldn’t get the Social Security benefits because they’re legally not citizens to get it, but they were still paying into it. So, this is so dumb. It’s like Trump doing the ICE stuff with the immigrants is so dumb. It’s dumb for big business because they don’t have the cheap labor. It’s dumb because we don’t have enough people for the jobs. It’s dumb because these people were paying their taxes and paying into social security and they were robbing them already and you can’t rob them anymore. And now social security may not be there for everybody. In some ways it’s they get what they get for being stupid. Seriously. But it’s not right what they’re doing to the individuals on the level of terrorizing them like Ice is doing. That’s the part of it right there. It’s crazy. Uh Koy saying, “I like Logical Raptors fanatic to counterbalance Stargate.” Haha. Yeah. I mean, it’s an interesting conversation you guys have in there, but once again, I say there’s too much repetitiveness. Y’all need to just go over the points, make your arguments succinctly, and stop repeating the same things over and over again when you’re going at each other talking. Uh Fiery saying, “Number one, my crown is back.” Number one, numero do. My people, on a serious note, the Discord channel is indeed overwhelming at times. I try helping by deleting news already posted that I posted too much to catch up. Yeah, we want to make sure that it’s easy to get to. And Fiery is number one. Milbers’s number two now. And uh Blackhawk has jumped down to three. So, woof woof. Milbers in number two, guys. We cannot let Nicks be number two, guys. It’s a learning curve. Lex, keep laying your rules and we’ll be fine. Yeah. Either way, I don’t want to be a dictator. I really don’t. But I do like organization and things being clear and useful. And that’s what I would make any changes or choices about is for that. And I don’t want to be limiting either. If y’all want the freedom to talk about whatever you want, I want to provide a place for that. It’s just we got to sus out the channels. And I think Mike can help me with that. He’s saying, “Yeah, I can help you with that for sure.” Awesome. So, probably today I’ll add you as an admin and maybe you can start organizing the Discord channels a little bit more in certain ways, Mike. That’ll be helpful. Uh, let’s see. F saying, “Uh, yeah, all right. I read that.” Wream fam, thank you for the cut off. And we are almost at three hours. So, we did aathon today again. Oh my gosh. Uh, cool cat saying, “Oh my gosh, I just got back from my meeting. Lex still going over two hours.” I know. I know. And there’s Mo showing up. This is part of the reason why Mon’nique. Uh, I need you so bad. I go too long. Let’s go, Sandro. So happy. Happy for Yak. Hey, Raper Free Crew. Yay. Good morning, super fan. Mon’nique Lawrence, we love you. Thank you for being a producer of this channel. Thank you for the cut off. Thank you for running the Facebook group also. And thank you just for being you. How about that? And Nameless is here too. What’s up, y’all? Reporting live from an underground parking lot. There you go, Pyano. There you go. How are you doing today, Nameless? Always happy to see my Pyano, my Italian teacher, Nameless. Awesome to see him. Wayne saying, “To be socially conscious is a decision to experience inconvenience. We’re not programmed to be inconvenience for our own good.” You know, in some ways, it’s tough to be empathetic and sensitive and aware and smart. Ignorance truly is bliss. And to have a sense of right and wrong and intelligence in today’s world is really tough. It’s much easier to be a dumb down idiot MAGA person who’s so stupid that they don’t even realize what they’re doing. And that’s what they try to train more people. They want less people like us. They want more programmable sheep that just fall in line with whatever narrative they want to give them. In some ways, we are living in a a world that’s different now and where they’re trying to make truth and reality what they want is shaped to be. But we understand what the truth and reality of good and bad and stuff like that and what is right and justice. And in some ways, we cannot allow their version of reality to become the status quo. And that will be one of the biggest fights in the years to come right now is the status quo is trying to be shifted by the billionaire class in a way that’s very ugly and dystopian for the future for all of us. And we cannot accept it and we need to hold our ground and bond together and in community and hold against them and resist. That’s just it right there. That’s it. It’s tough to be aware and smart and uh uh empathetic in a very cruel, awful, unjust world like today. But honestly, it’s absolutely essential that there’s people like us if there’s to be any kind of good future for your children and grandchildren. That’s what I’m saying right there. That’s it right there. And it sucks in some ways. We got to be strong. And it’s going to get really dark and it’s going to get really crazy. I’m not going to lie. It is. I know it is at this point. French Revolution kind of [ __ ] is coming in the future, I’m telling you. And we got to be organized and we got to remember whose side we’re on. And we’re on the side of everybody except for the 1% and the corporations. Those are the true enemies. And they will utilize us against each other by using the police and military. And those people are just like us though to a degree. They’re not really on that class. But sadly, they’re stormtroopers working for the empire. and the rei rebellion like in Star Wars. Well, that’s who we are and we’re gonna have to fight against it and we’re gonna have to do it. That George Lucas gave us the blueprint and we need to look at the Star Wars storylines to see the success for the people against the billionaire empire and the corporate empire that’s grown and is getting so much power right now. Uh let’s see. Stargate saying Raptors projected starting five it stays healthy. Yakob, Scotty, Brandon, Emanuel and RJ. Name a better starting five in the East when healthy. Cleveland’s maybe. Yeah. Yeah, you could maybe say that about Cleveland. I I’m sure they would want to say that. I think the Celtics without Tatum is not good enough. I don’t know. I mean, I’m very partial to that lineup you just said in there. I am very much partial. Look at this. Okay. I think that uh this is part of the top fans thing is I see that there’s a super chat from uh Blackhawk for $10. I appreciate it, Neil. That’s very nice of you. Did that launch him to the top? It did. That’s it right there. top fans is well. If you’re a top fan, you give me money to the channel, you go to the top. And there you go. He just bought his way to the top. Boy, that is just such a symbol of today’s world. There you go. Neil is number one again. But he bought it. That’s right. Wow. Thank you, Neil. I’m not going to get upset about this. I appreciate it. Uh Tristan saying, “Between January 1st and uh 20 28, every US born baby will automatically be given $1,000.” Okay. Why are you pushing this? Like what is this [ __ ] You know there anyway that I don’t know what your point is Tristan. I thought we had an agreement that you would particularly would not talk politics and I’d like you to continue to do that because you have a very bad source of news. I know you’re in the middle of places where you’re hearing [ __ ] from the wrong side. And I don’t want you paring [ __ ] like this. Seriously, this is this may this may be true, but I’m gonna say this right now. often these kind of tax breaks and these kind of things are just money gives to give away for one section one time and in some ways they’re stealing way more around it. It’s a distraction. You go ahead and take that and think, “Oh, they must be good people. They’re giving everybody that [ __ ] Get out of here with this Tristan.” So, I’m deleting your comment and uh yeah, I’m just like whatever, man. I told you not to talk politics. You’re not allowed to. You specifically, you’re not allowed. Okay, just so you know. And if you have any more coming up, you better get rid of them before I get to them because I I will kick you back out. You’re on you were on a warning level. Seriously. And even in all the comments on Discord, I’m watching you. You’re on probation. Just so you know, I let you back in, but don’t make me uh don’t make me regret it. Let’s just put it that way. Uh super fans saying, “We w vibes. Go raptors for life. Keep at it, Lex. Rap free crew strong forever. Just helping Lex limit the comments.” Thank you, Mo. Appreciate that. Milbester is saying, “Lex, that men mandami guy is Fidel Castro type, but I’m just embarrassed that New York City has become a socialist state in the financial capital world. Very articulate guy and smart, but he’s way too pro-socialist.” Well, see, that’s part of the problem, Milster. You need to vote for him. You need to vote for him. Don’t think socialism is bad. Socialism is a good thing. Socialism means you will have a house over your head. Don’t get fooled by the [ __ ] There’s a lot of billionaires paying a lot of money to make you think this way. You need to vote for that guy. You can think he’s Fidel Castro. You can think he’s Osama bin Laden. You can think anything. That’s all lies that rich people are paying to shape your mind. If you want to be soft-headed Mobster and believe the billionaire’s [ __ ] about him, you go ahead. But you’re part of the problem then and you’re siding with the wrong side. You’re on the empire side. Zohan the that guy is a good guy. He’s a good guy. And socialism, we need way more of it. Trust me. Socialismism is not a bad thing. Socialism is your fire department. Socialism is having public libraries. Socialism is having public roads. Socialism is having police. Socialism is having health care, free healthcare, like we do in Canada, which you don’t have down there. So, it sounds like you need more socialism, Milbuster. So, listen. Don’t start [ __ ] talking [ __ ] about that guy. He’s your only hope in your city. So, you better vote for him is what I’m saying to you, Milster. and get your head out of your ass and stop being a little puppet for billionaires like Quuomo and Bloomberg. They paid for you to believe that and you’re do stupid enough to buy their line and listen to all the [ __ ] they’re trying to say about it. So don’t give me this crap, Milbester. And once again, I I warned people if you’re going to get political on here, you better watch out what you say because I’ll set you straight. And you’re absolutely wrong on this, Master. We all need more socialism because trust me, you want socialism, healthcare or in schools for your children or do you want to be living outside in a tent warming your hands on oil drum because those are your choices. And your side of what you’re standing for right there is basically the side of standing outside with an oil drum with a tent for your house. So you get with it. Uh you can be stupid right now, Milster, but don’t make this decision when you get to the election. You need to vote for the guy you just slammed right there because he’s your best chance in the city of New York. I’m telling you right now, if you don’t listen to me, you’re gonna find out and you’ll feel just as stupid as all the people who voted for Trump last year. Just listen to me, Milves Bester. Seriously. And don’t fall for that [ __ ] You can’t listen to the mainstream media right now because they are bought and paid for by the corporations and bought and paid for by Michael Bloomberg. You’re gonna listen to [ __ ] Bloomberg. You’re going to listen to a corrupt ass person like Andrew Cuomo. No, you need to vote for that guy for your mayor. It’s a very, very important thing. In fact, it’s a symbolic thing because he’s anti-establishment and we need to go against the establishment right now because the establishment is against the people at this point. If you don’t understand that, Milbtor, well, I don’t know what to do, man. I hope you can understand this, but understand he is your friend. He is not your enemy. And using words like Fidel Castro and socialist state, you’re you’re being manipulated by MAGA news sources and you don’t even realize it. I know you don’t think I know you’re not a Trump person, but you need to understand that a lot of [ __ ] you’re taking in is not the right [ __ ] And I say the same damn thing to Tristan right now. You guys are in places where you’re hearing [ __ ] from people you shouldn’t be listening to because they don’t have your best interest at heart. Let’s just put it that way. Uh Khlo saying,000 for a new child is nothing against uh on the on pocket uh hospital birth. Yeah, down south they could give them $1,000 for baby, but the hospital bill is $20,000. It’s like Tristan. Okay, what are you trying to make the case for? What are you trying to stand up for? I want to see your next comment because I might kick you out, bro. Let’s see. Debatable, but you can’t say based on that that sole efforts are being made to make rich richer and poor poorer. Gas prices are also lowest in four years. Yeah, you’re pulling the Trump [ __ ] again, Tristan. You’re getting your second strike for this one. Third one, you’re out, bro. So, you may want to get that third that comment I see right there next. Uh, it looks like it’s okay, but you may want need to watch out, Tristan, because I will say goodbye to you. I don’t care if you pay for this channel. I kicked my biggest supporter out for doing the same thing you’re doing right now. David gave me a huge amount of money over the years that he watched this channel. I’m not here for the money. You can be a supporter of this channel. I will kick your ass out. I don’t care even if you’re a subscriber to the channel. So, watch yourself. I’ve told you Tristan, you’re not allowed to talk politics here because you’re you you’re you’re inundated with MAGA speak and you [ __ ] come in here with this [ __ ] and you parrot it like an idiot. Like you have a very low IQ to meet, Tristan. I don’t think you’re a very smart guy. In some ways, I wish you’d get smarter is what I’m trying to say right there. Uh let’s see. Melbour saying, “Lex, how’s Quickly now? He’s been quiet. He’s working out. He’s working out like crazy. He’s wearing the Raptors gear. He’s uh putting in the time and the effort and the sweat equity. and he’s going to come back and he’s going to be a badass next year and hopefully he’ll be very very healthy. Last season was the least healthy season of m uh Emanuel Quickley’s life. He never had so many injuries like he did last year ever in his whole entire life at any level playing basketball. So he had his most unsuccessful healthy year last year. Hopefully you will have a very very successful healthy year this year coming up for the Raptors. Uh Tristan saying US healthcare is whack but these are parts these are these are parts of efforts to mitigate that. This is like putting a band-aid on a dam to stop a water leak. Uh Tristan, and once again, your your energy is to support and defend this [ __ ] So, you’re out, bro. You’re out. I’m sorry. Your energy is to support this channel. The support, not this channel, to support this [ __ ] [ __ ] man. So, you’re out, bro. You’re h I’m hiding you from the channel, and I’m gonna kick you out of the Discord, too, because I’m sick of this [ __ ] I warned you about this and you did not pay attention to what I’m saying, and I told you not to talk politics. you you’re not allowed to because your political views are in in mil uninformed and they’re full of [ __ ] and I’m not having no um worm in here worming for Donald Trump on the down low. Nope, I’m not doing it, bro. I’m not doing it. And even I don’t trust you. I think you’re a troll. I think you’re somebody who’s actually not representing yourself exactly of who you are and I don’t trust you and I don’t want you on my channel anymore. [ __ ] you, Tristan, is what I’m going to say right now. You’re part of the problem. You’re not part of the solution. You want to help the world. You want to help the people. You don’t stand where you’re standing. You’re standing on the wrong side. You’re an idiot. I’ll just say that. All right. Uh Monique saying, “Thank you, Jared Rhoden, for everything.” You know, it’s a weird thing. We could see Jared Rhoden circle back to the Raptors at some point somehow someway. We could see that. We’ll we’ll have to see. Chloe saying, “Nothing to bet. I just had two babies and 1K does nothing if you have to pay out of pocket the hospital. Thank God for universal healthcare fees. This is missing in the forest for the trees. Exactly. It’s a distraction. It’s a a small little breadcrumb held up. Say, “No, look, we’re trying to help.” Actually, [ __ ] Absolute [ __ ] I’m so disappointed in Tristan. I thought he was a much more intelligent young man. And I’m just sad. I’m just sad that we have that people are getting duped like this. Tristan, I really want you to get your information better. Seriously, because honestly, you’re not helping things. I’m going to say this once again. y’all standing for Trump and anything he’s doing right now, you are gonna be on the wrong side of history. And as far as I’m concerned, you guys might as well be Nazis. So, uh, Tristan, you want to defend Nazis, you go ahead. You’re on the wrong side of history. You go ahead. And you’re not going to do it here anymore. I’m not even going to give you a voice. This is a platform I give to you guys to talk about raptor stuff. And if you are irresponsible with the comments that you’re sending to me, well, I don’t give you that platform anymore. And you’ve lost that, Tristan, as of right now. Name said, “I’d go to Lithuania. Hell yeah. Nobody would ever find me again.” I know. I I think I want Yonas to go to uh back home. Seriously, I think he’d be so much happier. And like, what does he have to prove in the NBA? Seriously, he’s not going to get a championship. So, just let him go back to his home country. He had a very successful long NBA career. And some of it is I’d like to see him get some accolades in Europe playing over there because he has he’s still young and he can play if he goes and if he he waits two more years here he may not be as good in Europe. He needs to go now so that he can have the biggest impact going forward. Mamu Kellashi Mamu Kales Villi. Thank you Shir Khan. Thank you Shir Khan. That’s right. Mamu Kales Villi. Mamu Kalashi. Uh let’s see. Uh Mon’nique saying Raptors equipment manager Paul Elliott going to be enjoying putting his name on the jerseys. Okay, that’s interesting. Mbester saying Lex. It is D Venenzo. His nickname is Big Root. Well, I don’t know that. I’m not a Knicks freak. I don’t know that. I guessed on that. He had that nickname since Villainova. Yeah, I don’t care. I don’t care. Yeah, Mobster saying, “Lex, I heard rumors that the Nuggets Hang on. Um, let me see. The Nuggets traded Porter Jr. because his back issues from college before he was drafted might have been back. That would make sense why there they would trade him. Yeah. I don’t know. Maybe because the fact that his family’s a degenerate criminal family and he’s a loser. That could be another reason. There you go. Westbrook’s still in Denver. I don’t know where Westbrook is. I currently don’t know where he is. Actually, I’m not totally sure where Westbrook is. Uh he declined his player option. He’s a free agent. That’s what Mike’s saying. Yeah. So, we don’t know where he landed yet. He’s not totally signed yet. Blackhawk’s saying, “You can try to kill me, but I keep coming back.” There you go. Blackhawk put $10 down. He’s back at number one. That’s crazy, man. I mean, I don’t mind like if that’s going to be the byproduct of this, but in some ways also, it’s manipulative, too. I don’t want to manipulate you guys to spend money just to get number one. That’s crazy. Uh Mike’s saying, “I have some ideas to help with Discord.” No worries. Awesome. I look forward to talking to you about them on there. That’s right. All right, let’s see. Number one, uh to basketball or not to basketball? That is a question. I love it. There you go. Everybody’s liking it. I love it, man. That’s hilarious, man. Blackhawk, you’re funny, man. Nins is giving a W to Blackhawk. That’s awesome, man. Uh, he bought it. That’s right. That’s the way of the world. You can buy things now, like elections. You can buy elections. You can buy politicians. You can buy Ontario Place. You can buy all this kind of [ __ ] in the world today. You can buy the health care of the the American people and just give all the money to the billionaires. You can buy it all. It’s all up for grabs to buy. Just buy bye bye. You know, that’s just how it is. Uh Kareem’s saying, “Uh, Nuggets are back, baby. My Western Conference team.” Yeah, I don’t believe it. I’ll believe it when I see it. I’m gonna say the same thing to you, Kareem, as I’m saying to uh Reggie about the Rockets. I’ll believe it when I see it. But I’ll tell you, I have much more evidence that the Rockets are going to be back and they’re going to be badass. Although they didn’t they didn’t really go anywhere. They were number two last year anyway. But yeah, the Rockets I have more confidence in next season than the Nuggets. But I would say to both Reggie and Kareem about your teams, respectively. Don’t count your chickens before they’re hatched. You gotta see what Kevin’s gonna do in Houston. And you gotta I don’t totally believe that Denver’s gotten better. I don’t believe you. I don’t believe you that one. That right there. Yeah. Blackhawks put money on it. That’s right. He’s got five on it or 10 on it. I guess uh Seymour saying it’s not Cadet Homegrren, it’s Champ Home God. All right. I’m going to give you a dunk because in some ways you have been consistent with this and I love it. I love it. In some ways, this is the yin to my yang. I don’t like chat, but Seymour loves him, and he’s gonna go ahead and stand for him in here. I’ll allow it. I’ll allow it. That man is a champion. He is a champion home god. See, you got me doing crazy [ __ ] I never thought I would ever say. That’s right. Oh, I’m three hours. Mischief is laughing. This has been pretty fun. Cream saying, “Chad needing a spotter to lift Larry O’Brien is comical.” That’s why I was wondering about that, man. Seriously, is that why Lugett had to hold it for him? Because I was wondering, man, maybe you can’t get that up there, man. Only way to stop Blackhog is we all report him. You guys are You guys are out of control. I wish they report the government in the United States right now. We need to all report the government. The rest of the world’s seeing this. They see democracy on fire and burning to the ground. And uh Europe is just like, “Yeah, America, you can’t say jack [ __ ] about anything anymore as far as like you’re standing in the world and being a beacon of democracy and freedom.” Yeah, that [ __ ] is all out the window at this point. The French are like, “Y’all should have gotten in the streets like four or five years ago when Trump did the January 6 [ __ ] or something like that. Y’all should have been fighting this and burning [ __ ] down like we do over here.” Americans are so uh plated by distractions and [ __ ] celebrity news, sports, all kinds of stuff that they don’t realize they need to get mobilized and get the [ __ ] out there and activated to fight all this [ __ ] And that’s that’s part of the way that they do this. That’s part of the way they do this is the distractions are part of the the plan of the billionaire class. Uh Seymour saying he’s still a champ just like when people from the states look down on us being champs. I will not do the same. I respect champions. There you go. I like that. I actually really like that even though I’m the one who’s disrespected. I really like that Seymour standing for him in some ways. It’s kind of crazy. Mike’s laughing at Kareem. And Seymour saying Gen X is crazy. No respect. Low IQ. Only fans winning. Racism winning. Laugh out loud. What are you seeing? Gen X is crazy. No respect, low IQ, only fans w winning fascism, winning, you know, the all the generations. I mean, I know that people like the the delineate different generations have a part in the problem that’s going on right now. For sure. The baby boomers are a huge part of the problem with this. Gen X, my generation, yeah, we’re a part of the problem. Millennials are a part of the problem. Gen Z is a part of the problem, too. We’re all a part of the problem in this whole thing that happened. Now, Gen Z is not as much at fault. Millennials are not really as much as fault. Gen X maybe a little bit because we’re in our middle age right now and we should be in charge right now. But the boo baby boomers held on so strong and they’ve created this world. They’ve really gotten all the best things in their age group for their lives. And in some ways, my life is going to be pretty good up until the end. But everybody below uh after the millennials and the Gen Z, they’re screwed. They’re screwed. and they’re screwed in different ways that are absolutely unfair to them. Honestly, Milbster is saying, “Lex, the Nuggets got Bruce Brown back and he was one of the main reasons why they won the championship in 2023. Can’t sleep on Denver next year. They really focused on offseason after losing to OKC. Uh, the CBA was why they lost KCP and Bruce.” Yeah. No, I know. I I understand all that, but it’s just inevitable championship teams won’t stay up there at this point. If the Celtics can’t stay together, well, this is proof is in the pudding. You know, none of these teams are going to be able to stay together. This is new reality. the NBA. The parody is here. Dynasties are dead. To stay up at the top of the NBA is absolutely impossible. It’s going to be conducive that there’ll be new champions every year. And as part of it, it’s just that it’s just the way it is. It’s just the way it is. And Denver in some ways is not gotten anywhere near back to the level they were when they won the championship. And I don’t think they’re still there. I don’t think you I think you guys are crazy. Honestly, I think you guys are crazy. I think that there’s other teams out west that got way way better than Denver. And Denver is not one of the teams I’m looking at that had a huge uptick. I think the Rockets had a huge uptick. They really did. I think the Spurs have also in some ways I think the Clippers in some ways are interesting with what they’re doing. And uh you know uh those three in particular are the teams I think have made the huge moves out west. Those three right there. Uh let’s see. Jared Jackson Jr. Jire Jiren Jiren. It’s not Jared. Jiren Jackson Jr. got hurt after a big signing. Yeah, this happens sometimes. I don’t I don’t know how long he’s gonna be hurt for or anything. Grizzlies have been in a rough place. Different things are happening. Blackhawk saying trivia. Why What do you get when you put Stargate and Blackhawk together? I don’t know. I don’t know. Grumpy old man. I love that you guys are kind of becoming a foil for each other, but you’re very playful with it and it’s all good nature. That’s what’s important right there. That’s what’s important right there. Yeah, you guys are funny. Starhawk is uh Mike’s answer. That’s pretty creative. I like that. Blackhawk, don’t kill me. Oh my gosh, you guys are funny, man. All right, we’re over three hours and I’ve really gone way over on time here. So, let’s go ahead and look once again. We got Sandro yesterday, guys. And he’s a great backup center. He’s going to fill a lot of things for us. He’s a friend of RJ’s from high school already. And uh man, I’m really happy with this signing. I’m also extremely happy with the extension for Yaka Purle. This is really good for our future, guys. Real quick, real straight goods on Canadian goods. We’re going to do bottled water today because you know people want bottled water. When you go to the store, you want to buy bottled water, right? Well, I want to give you some of the names that are Canadian bottle water companies right now. And I’m going to give you a list of like 10 of them. Now, you may not know most of these labels. They may be smaller and they may be regional for different places. There may be a bottle water that I name here that Seymour will know because he’s in Alberta. There may be a bottle water that Fiery may know because of where she is. So, I’m just going to go over the names of the list. If you want to buy Canadian bottle water, these are the pretty perfect fantastic companies to buy from. So, here we go. We’ll start at the top. Pure Life Splash Blast used to be owned by Nestle, but Nestle sold it to Ice River Springs in 2020, and is 100% Canadian-owned, manufactured, and sourced from Canadian Water. So, Pure Life Splash Blast is 100% Canadian water. Mini Chiller, if you see Mini Chiller somewhere, that is a company you can buy. Labrador Springs. Labrador Springs bottled water is Canadian. It’s fully Canadian-owned and it’s sourced spring water and it has a strong local presence and job creation. Nia Waters. Nia Waters. If you guys see Nia, that is 100% Canadian and it is very strongly in Quebec. So if you want Nia, Nia is a good product. Polaris spring water is another Canadian-owned and operated water company. Tao Spring Water is owned in uh in Canada by Quebec Canadian Company. Uh Whistler Glacial Spring Water, that’s out west. That is a Canadian company 100%. Whistler Water, another one, and Yoho Water is another one. And it actually has water that comes out of the Yoho National Park. So, just a list of some of the Canadian 100% bottled water companies. I think the most uh prevalent one is NIA, maybe Polaris or Tao. So, if you see those three water companies where you are are Pure Life Splash Blast, know that you’re buying 100% Canadian water and from a Canadian company. And it’s not Nestle. That’s important right there. It’s not Nestle. That’s right. Let’s go. Mischief St. Lex. What do you think of Colin Murray Boils? I hope we are a contender. Well, that’s a very general question. I’ve talked a lot about him already. We’ll do a Thursday think tank tomorrow and maybe we we can call in and we can talk about that tomorrow on the think tank. Uh there’s a lot I can say about him. He’s going to be a good defender. I know that. Seymour saying DLO to the Mavs is insane. 5.5 a season. Crazy discount for Dallas. He’s in that middle class. It doesn’t get paid as much as he should because of the middle class thing we’re talking about right now. Seymour saying we would have to pay triple for some of these guys taking cuts. I don’t know. I don’t know how it would work. Some of them may not want to come here. Uh G saying just jumped on. My mornings are going to be busy, but happy to see this is still going. I think our bench is fire. Good to see original Raptor Freak trivia champion G stepping in. Nia water is solid. Yeah, Nia is probably the most uh uh common that if you see Nia water, you’re buying Canadian water. Just so you guys know. Uh in saying salute freaks and Lex just in. Did you speak about the BS report by Graange? No, I didn’t. What is he saying? Let me go look at Blue Skies real quick and I’ll see if I can see something BS from him. Oh, here’s the roster for summer league right here from Blake Murphy. You know what? We’re not going to talk about it today. I’m gonna keep a tab on it and we will talk about it uh tomorrow for sure. Uh they’ve made the Garrett Temple signing official in the last hour. They’re thrilled to have Garrett’s steady veteran presence as a Raptor for another season. We know he’s appreciated by all our players and staff for his work ethic, commitment to team, community, family, and professionalism as he sets an example for us all on and off the court. There you go. I love that. Uh let’s see. I don’t see Grange so far. Um what is Grange saying? I You may just need to tell me what Grange is saying because I will uh uh talk about it if you want. Um, let’s see. Um, uh, Mike’s saying Rogers damage control propaganda. So, he’s making up [ __ ] for why they got rid of U Messiah. The main trope I’m hearing, and this is what Mike was saying the other day, is that they didn’t like him doing Giants of Africa, and they thought that it was distracting from doing the basketball duties, and he was getting more and more into his side duties and that kind of stuff, and not paying attention to the Raptors job as much. And that’s the part of the excuse they’re using is that they didn’t like him doing extra stuff. And I could tell you that’s veiled in racism. Honestly, that’s veiled in racism. King’s here. He showed up late. What’s up, Freak Nation? I’m satisfied with the free agency moves so so far. Adapt to you, Brian. He said that Bobby wanted to keep Pascal and Messiah wanted to get rid of him. What he’s trying to say that right now. Yeah, that’s that’s praying on the division in the Raptors nation. That’s would a could a shoulda [ __ ] and it doesn’t matter. Um, that doesn’t actually totally make sense either because honestly, Messiah loves Pascal and uh, this is not adding up. This absolutely sounds like it’s not right. Yeah, I wouldn’t believe any of this [ __ ] is what I’m saying. I’ll have to see it specifically, but if that’s what they’re trying to say, that Bobby wanted to keep Pascal Seakum and Messiah didn’t, well, they’re trying to pray on people like Chev to make them pissed off, people that really really love Pascal and get some emnity against M Saiiri after the fact. It was probably something that’s absolutely false. Seriously, absolutely false. Uh, let’s see. G saying, “Wow, this is how they’re trying to get fans to turn on Messiah.” Yikes. Yeah, it sounds stupid. It’s all way past done. And who’s to say this is absolutely true? I think this is absolute horses crap. Even if it’s slightly true, I can make a case for why Messiah is right and that he’s the right it’s the right decision to move on from Seakum no matter what. But to utilize a very popular beloved player as a a chip in the whole argument here is absolutely to me uh despicable. Despicable. They shouldn’t do that. They shouldn’t do that. Yeah. Fly saying really the same Messiah reiterated Pascal’s success as his success. I don’t buy it. It’s just to discredit Messiah. Once again, Grange executing Roger’s dirty scheme. Yeah, I can see that. I can see that totally. Pi to the face. It’s propaganda. Graange is garbage. There you go. I like that. All right, let’s keep going with my tabs. Uh, we did the Instagram stories. Raptors Reddit is uh kind of ridiculous. They’re talking about Jared Rooden being waved. They’re talking about Yakob getting his contract. A lot of people like it. Some people are being idiots on here, saying they don’t like the Yakob stuff, but these are idiots. You know, there’s a new interview with James Wade that just came out. I might have to watch that today. Uh, let’s see. Um, there’s the Jonas trade for Daario Sarich. Very, very interesting. Mamu or Castleton for backup center? Are you even asking that? That’s stupid. Of course, it’s Mamu. Is it Castleton’s not even a real player yet? Okay. Yeah, Raptors Reddit is a collection of really silly [ __ ] for the most part right now still. Uh, let’s see. Uh, get your fantasy WNBA team set up. Happy birthday to Stevie Roots. It’s one my best friend’s birthday today. Steve is going to the Blue Jays game. Uh oh, he’s going to a lot of Blue Jays games this week. He’s really in the Blue Jays mode uh to celebrate his birthday. Happy birthday, Stevie Roots. That’s what I got to say right now. My old buddy Steve have to say happy birthday to him. All right, let’s do the classic card and let’s get the hell out of here. We are way over time in some ways. You know, we did some polit political stuff today. And Tristan, man, why did you step in it again, man? You couldn’t resist, could you? You couldn’t resist and it is what it is. All right, here you go. Bster, this one’s for you. Do you know who this is, Mobil Buster? It’s a New York Nick, obviously. Does anybody remember this New York Nick? If you can give me the first and last name of this New York Nick, you get the classic card points today. Who is this former New York Nick? Let’s see. Yeah, happy birthday to my friend Stevie. Yeah, Steve is awesome. Talked to him a couple days ago. Went over the whole thing with Messiah, so he was up to speed on what’s going on. Told him, yeah, we need to say [ __ ] uh Ed Rogers every day and never let this down. [ __ ] you, Keith P. You see Keith P in public, tell him how you feel about Messiah. Uh, John Starts. Starts. No, this guy didn’t start. And he’s not John Starks or Starks. This is not John Starks. You got to look at it closer. Chris Childs, that’s an interesting guess. Milbester. It’s not exactly right either. I’m say you guys got to look even shorter than that. Seriously, this guy’s actually one of the shortest players that ever played in the NBA that’s on this card today. You can look at his height on the card. He looks like a little short guy. I can show you the back of the card. Maybe it’ll give you a better look at his face. Who is that guys? You guys don’t know who that guy is. He looks short. He is short. I think that like he’s like 5’7, guys. This is a very short player. He looks short. Greg Grant. Boom. Goes a dynamite. Kareem remembers this short, guys. That’s right. That’s Greg Grant. He played for the Phoenix Suns. Also, Kareem’s going to get a 100 points for the classic card today. Greg Grant of the New York Knicks at that time. Greg Grant. That’s right. What does it say on there? 57. I was right. Lex was right. 571 140 guys. That’s right. Don’t ever say you can’t make the NBA. Greg Grant did. That’s right. 100 100 points for Kareem Thomas on the classic card today. Love to see Kareem getting in there for this one. Uh Gray Grant, did you just remember Greg Grant like from watching way back? Kareem, how did you get this one? I want a little bit of a background on how you knew that was Greg Grant. You just remembered him. I I would have remembered him too because of u being a longtime NBA fan and watching him play way way back. Wow. Fantastic. All right. 316 Austin. Let’s get out of here on that one. Thanks for watching. Please like, comment, subscribe. Uh join the channel. You get membership privileges. And uh yeah, you can lose them, too, if you’re going to spout mega [ __ ] I’m just going to say that right now. If you’re gonna spout mega [ __ ] I will show you the door. I don’t care if you’re supporting my channel with money. Also, guys, uh tomorrow we’ll do the Thursday think tank on the summer league roster. that’s been released. We’ll go over it tomorrow and we’ll I want to hear everything y’all have to say about our rookies and our uh roster tomorrow on the think tank. Let’s go Raptors. Thank you, benevolent one Isaac Campbell. Let’s go Scotty. Let’s go Darko. Let’s go Bobby Webster. Let’s go.
