MAJOR Mavericks Update… – More Trades INCOMING…

we have a major Mavericks update that highlights how the Mavericks have more trades to come and with the first day of free agency out the way we’ve seen a lot of teams make a lot of different moves go out and get role players star players bench players the wrong player while the Dallas Mavericks have done the one thing that we all knew that they would do and that was to go out and get a point guard as in the first hour of free agency it was announced that D’Angelo Russell has been signed by the Dallas Mavericks on a two-year deal with the player option the second year but that’s not all all the Mavericks are trying to do as there were a lot of rumors floating around the Dallas Mavericks and Dante XM and Omax potentially trading away players to create more space but there’s another player that could find their way back on the roster and that is Kai Jones and although we already have plenty of big man there is a possible way where we secure Kai for the future so in this video we’re going to take a look at Kai Jones and see what are the rumors around him the Dallas Mavericks how well was he for us last year and why should we bring him back but how’s it going everybody my name is days to see what other moves are going to happen and while there are some teams out there that are making many moves as they have many holes to fill the Dallas Mavericks don’t really have that problem of course with Kyrie Irving being out for pretty much the first half of the season we needed a little bit of help at the point guard position so when free agency opened up we finally went out and we got ourselves a point guard it will be D’Angelo Russell on a two-year deal team I’m sorry player option on the second year so who knows if he’s going to stick around but one thing that is very very interesting is the rumors around Kai Jones and the Dallas Mavericks but before we get ahead of ourselves we take a look right here back in March 1st it was reported that the Dallas Mavericks have expressed interest in former LA Clippers for Kai Jones to bring him on a 2-way NBA contract which did happen and Kai Jones was a godsend for us off rip he was amazing we had no Derek Lively we had no Daniel Gaffer we had no Anthony Davis but we had Kai Jones just the highflying weird shot chucking he made a three in one game just randomly just because he dives for rebounds he fights really hard and although he built somewhat of a reputation for himself when he was in Charlotte was out of the league for a little bit he was still a serviceable big man and a lot of those antics seemed to have subsided and he was great for us he showed us flashes of what he could be if he was with the Dallas Mavericks long term and being a younger player with a lot of talent we could use that in the future especially if we have someone like like Cooper Flag Derek Lively we have PJ Washington we have Max Christie we’ve got a couple other young guys as well kai Jones was seen as a player for the future as with Derrick Lively’s injuryprone history Kai Jones could be a backup to Derrick Lively with Daniel Gaffford a lot of people thought Daniel Gaffford would would get traded i’m glad he wasn’t traded but it gives us other options at the five ad can play the four more we could also stretch wave Dwight Pal a lot of people have been wondering how is Dwight Pal still here as someone as myself who’s a fan of Dwight Pal I don’t want to see him go i’d much rather see him retire in Dallas however the more players that we can actually play and not just have for vibes would be a good thing although with Dwight Pal I understand the importance of having a locker room guy but Kai Jones is an interesting player because the most recent report says that when Dallas added Kai Jones on a two-way deal which we first reported at the time it was viewed as a strong signing it’s turned into a home run jones played exceptionally well and is no longer 2-way eligible expect him to return the Mavericks on a standard NBA deal which is very very interesting this report came out just last night right after well a few hours after we got the news that that the Dallas Mavericks were signed D’Angelo Russell we are hardcapped under the second apron and we have 15 players so the only way that we get anybody whether that be Dante XM or Kai Jones is through a trade there were also rumors that the Dallas Mavericks have been in talks all all pre I’m sorry all offseason really it was during the draft as well as during the first day of free agency the Dallas Mavericks are actively shopping as well as Jaden Hardy and if there’s any crazy multi-team player deal that Nico Harrison can pull off where we can get both Kai Jones and Dante Exom although that would be a minor upgrade that would be an upgrade nonetheless i’ve seen what you guys said in the comment section on Omax i’ve seen what y’all said in the comment section about Jaden Hardy but I do know that Kai Jones wouldn’t be that bad of a pickup now I don’t want Kai Jones as our fourth string center we need more guards if we can get a guard back that’d be great but if you could do some trade where you send out Dwight Pal to make room for Kai Jones why not we all know that Derrick Lively until we see otherwise will have some form of injury he’s had some injuries in his first year had injuries in his second year hopefully that goes away but just as an insurance policy if we can’t go to Daniel Gaffford or we have already gone to Daniel Gaffford and we can’t go to Derek Lively would you rather have Dwight Pal or Kai Jones the Bahaman freak of nature that just runs around the court at high speeds ready to dunk on anybody ready to block anybody who shows a lot of upside and promise and no offense but compared to Dwight Pal who is on the decline who is just getting another year older sitting on the bench who definitely does all things that you ask him to do just not at that level if we take a look at a few more reports right here free agent for Kai Jones has drawn interest from multiple teams and could land elsewhere though a return to the Dallas Mavericks remains possible league sources say this was also reported last night it is very very interesting a lot of teams have been loading up in the West on big man we saw Clink Capella go to the Houston Rockets who also have Alfred Senon who also now have Kevin Durant so they’re increasing their size new Orleans have also gotten other big men the Clippers they just got Brook Lopez a lot of teams in the West are trying to add size and I don’t think that’s to combat OKC part of me feels like they they’re trying to make sure they can keep up with the Dallas Mavericks they saw how we have both Derek Lively and Daniel Gaffford two of the league’s best rim protectors and have the highest field goal percentage at the rim with Anthony Davis playing the four naturally not having to play that five and we just got Cooper flag that’s a lot of size that a lot of teams aren’t prepared for with the Rockets as an example we all saw what Anthony Davis did to that team for the first two and a half quarters so of course teams like the Rockets teams like the Clippers any other team with playoff aspirations are going to try to load up at the big man spot and with Kai Jones being as stable as of late he is doing a lot better now he said himself he’s gotten therapy so you can go you can trust him that he’s going to be locked in focus on basketball you know he still has that athletic ability a lot of teams are going to be looking at him but if the Dallas Mavericks want to play a little bit of 3D chess and pick him up since he’s already played for us he’s probably happy to be here why not try to find a way to get Kai Jones and he wasn’t that bad while he played for Dallas either if we take a look right here Kai Jones played good ball on a small sample for the Mavs in only 12 games he averaged 11.4 points 6.6 rebounds 1.3 assists,8 blocks point8 steals while shooting 83.6% from the from the floor 33.3% from three and 70% on the free throw line top five scoring games of his career with the Mavs would love to have him back but they don’t need another big who should sign him well the Dallas Mavericks could still sign him again some 4D chess moves where you find a way to move Dwight Pal and make room for Kai Jones i know Dwight Pal just signed or just took his player option not sure if we can move him this fast but if you can somehow make a way to get rid of Dwight Pal you bring on Kai Jones that eliminates him as an option for other teams not saying I’m worried about Kai Jones on another team be facing him but that just stops our our opponents and other teams in our conference from getting a big man that they desperately need a team like the Lakers who at the time of this recording still have not signed a big man whether that be Brook Lopez who’s with the Clippers now or DeAndre Aton however the Dallas Mavericks we have a good team we have a good core we just got D’Angelo Russell i would not mind having Kai Jones back i love the defense i love the hustle i love the lobs it was amazing he was he was comedy but also very
