If we did this as a lakers fan imma be pissed I’m trading rui and him and Wiggins with what their role would be would be the same so why even ponder this? 🤦🏽♂️
They need to trade kleber and vincent (and i think shake too for it to work?) plus two first rounders, 2026 and then take your pick of the next ones. Makes them title contenders, with rui and knecht and laravia scoring off the bench. better offense in the starting lineup with wiggins, and then defense from the bench isn’t horrendous with hayes, laravia, vando, goodwin, and either Thiero or knecht. Picking up Melton as a FA would also then add some more defense and scoring to the bench.
I’d say overall they could be title contenders. Defense at center would still be a little weak but that’s it they have everything from shooting to size to bench scoring. Plus at least one strong defender for every position.
Would you rather that, or be mid and then still get a mid draft pick next year?
