Miami HEAT vs. San Antonio Spurs | HEAT Full-Game Highlights | July 5, 2025
part of his journey. Devonte Cook to Larson. Larson again goes hard to the rim and scores and gets a foul. The defender, watch that left shoulder right in there. Great job drawing contact and the ability to finish. Really nice job. Foul is on Osio. Takes it on the right again. He gets to the basket again. Missed it. But Golden’s there to clean it up. Cal Classic. Large finish with the left hand. He is relentless. Right in the rhythm.
Yep.
Pass right in the wheelhouse. Right at the chest or midsection. Stevenson jumper off the back rim by Agbo. And now the heat with Cook going for the finish. And he leaned back and got it done.
Produced a lot of players. Step back by Cook. That’s good. You know, Sam, we haven’t talked a little bit about, you know, we talking about the young players trying to find rhythm. Oh, beautiful play. What a well-designed play. And that leads me to what I was talking about.
No pressure on the ball. Great pass, great finish.
How important is spacing in that play like that?
Oh, well, you got to pull guys up. And the threes have been tough to come by here in the first half. Bad pass, but it’s knocked down. A good steal. And Miami on the break. Lewis Jr. to the trail. It’s Johnson. Beautiful pass. You’ll say how, you know, you could show that film to a lot of guys. You know, say this is why you run hard because Johnson ran hard, got rewarded. Boy, that’s one thing you
really emphasize to your bigs. And it’s Ingram can’t get it up to the rim. Hit the underside of the rim. Johnson with a threeon one.
Reverse doesn’t go, but there’s where the last three minutes
again. Penetrate. Create a separation. Spurs with the lead. Our 13th lead change of the game. [Applause] Jonas. Well, one dribble shot for Kyra Lewis. Yeah, they the first quarter there weren’t that many wide open shots. Now that the offenses are running a little bit better, more familiarity, they still are. Fog. There’s Wear with a nice move. First really quality move we’ve seen from him. And
there’s no way you can get to that shot if you kept that ball high.
Well, being a righty, he loves that left shoulder turn. on 31. Here’s a tough entry
down toward the corner. Wow, that’s just great execution. See the loop around there and you’ve got two screeners right there. Bango. That’s a beautiful execution. It’s kind of got the elevator finish. Well, Oifo gets it ahead. A prolike move there. Clock winding down. You know you’re taking it to trouble. Still get it done. Stevenson spent a lot of time at Glee last couple of years. Wear in traffic. Converts. Larson wants another screen. Gets it. Wants to take Magnus for a spin. Oh, great cut. That could show us Golden right there. 69 out of Jacksonville. Undrafted back in 2023. last year spent time in the Canadian League and with the Austin Spurs. Stevenson for three if kids stay longer in college, which might not be a bad thing. They’re not coming in the draft in the second round.
Yeah, they don’t want to take a pay cut. Larson to the rim with a right hand.
A lot of stellar defense.
Yeah, a lot of effort, a lot of defense in this game today. Bryson Warren settles and hits the three. Flass off Gold. Oh. Oh. Puts on the Oh, nice pump fake back with a right hand. By the way, that’s not the officials fault. Players just keep moving around. Oh my goodness.
We all think they’re creating a
Oh, what a strip there by Lewis. Number seven. Number 25. Cook with it up top. Stevenson’s open in the right corner and cashes in again. Nice pass. There’s something you learn in the NBA. Cook up and a tough shot. Javvante Cook having a great fourth quarter. But Cook, that was a tough finish. Jones Garcia. Cook got a hand in there. Mets blocked by where? Jones Garcia. Shot clock at three. Now he’s got to go. Takes a three. It’s blocked by Johnson who gets the lead pass off the block and he’ll go in and score. Nice pass inside, but the block Johnson to Stevenson. Stevenson has wear. Gets it. Power move, two points. Excellent. We welcome all the ESPN 2 viewers to the California Classic from Chase Center here in San Francisco. The Miami Heat. Was told by those in the Spurs organization that he’s a player they have liked so far. Look forward to seeing more of him.
The drive and the finish for Kyra Lewis Jr. back onto an NBA roster. And like you said, Saint, everybody’s watching. Cardinal. Oh, rejected by Cook.

This Cook fella balling hope he keeps it up
Youth movement
Pelle Jacket went off π₯
Cook, Lewis and Stevenson pretty solid players⦠Kaspy did not look good at all on his first game but will see how he progresses
Pelle just a hard working engine. Ware moments of brilliance. Kas not a good debut⦠hopefully tomorrow goes 1,000 times better
Clearly KJ is still adjusting. Hope he can get his groove onto the next game. Stevenson to a 2way contract I see glimpse of Strus in him, can do catch and shoot and step back threes
I like Stevenson he a good spot up shooter I think we can use him on the bench
Our rookie kasper is nice I like his passing he can be a great point guard with that assist game and we need it
Goldin just gotta work on his block game I love his put back ability but I donβt see him getting a lot of minutes unless he can average a double double and slow down scoring runs

Cook was good on both ends. Lewis had elite defense. Stevenson is amazing from beyond the arc
Its not fair to have Pelle out there. He is robbing them blind
