Moves like Butler and Ant. Sixers made a huge mistake extending Embiid and signing PG, both with 3-4 yrs still left on their contracts with almost $400 million tied up. They should have left Embiid contract as-is through 26-27 season without the new extension, and given PG max 2yr/100m. They now have an excellent young core and must develop them fast and consistently. Unfortunately that will be delayed with PG and Embiid on the team through 2029-30.
