Denver Nuggets’ SAVAGE OFFSEASON Sends a WARNING to the NBA! Nikola Jokic demands the crown!

Welcome to Hoops Insider, where every dribble, every trade, and every locker room whisper becomes headline news. The NBA never sleeps, and neither do we. Let’s dive into the madness.
So, the ultimate sign of respect was paid to Nicole Joic of the Denver Nuggets, who is the most layered, productive, essential player in the NBA. There’s a lot of good players, SGA, Giannis, and the aging KD, Luca Lebron, but there’s one Jokic. He’s the best shooting big man ever. He’s the best passing big man ever. Rebounding outlets, ball handling, it’s just nothing like it. May not be pretty, but there’s nothing like it in the NBA. I don’t think ever. And so yesterday is a great example. Michael Porter is really talented. They moved off him and just brought in a couple of shooters and suddenly the odds now have Denver as the second best odds to win the title. That’s like Adele. Give me a microphone and a stage. Get out of the way. I’ll show you greatness. I mean, Michael Porter is very talented. Inconsistent, some injuries, but really talented. They just got this guy Cam Johnson and Bruce Brown. Brown won’t even start. Rotational guy, second, third guy off the bench. Cam Johnson always like can hit threes, but they just got him a couple shooters. All of a sudden, the odds go above Houston. It’s OKC. It’s Denver. And I don’t disagree that that Joic does not need KD. He doesn’t need Giannis. He doesn’t need a big trade. Denver can’t shoot. Let’s get Cam Johnson and Bruce Brown. They can. I mean, these are like the fifth best starter or the second guy off a bench. And look at the odds. And I think the odds are right. And that that’s really what it is is that Jokic today is on a roster that does not have another all-star. Even after the trade, they do not have another all-star. And yet in the loaded West, they are odds on favorites today because of getting Cam Johnson and Bruce Brown to meet OKC in the Western Conference Finals. So again, it just this guy doesn’t need much. I think my my take is if you if I had to flip a coin today and s say who wins the NBA championship next season, I would say Denver. I mean, this is a team this is a team with no bench. uh was completely overwhelmingly cuz Michael Porter was so inconsistent and they couldn’t shoot threes. They were basically it was Jokic Gordon against OKC and they took him seven and they took them seven. So I love what they did. Um I I I think you know listen I like Malone. He runs hot. They moved off him but I think this makes Denver really good. It’s exactly what they needed and this is a guy that doesn’t need much. Give me a stage. Give me a microphone. I’ll get you open. Hit threes. We’re good.
Welcome to Hoops Insider, the pulse of the NBA, where we deliver the raw, unfiltered truth about the game we love. I’m your host, and today we’re diving head first into a seismic shift that’s rocking the basketball world. The Denver Nuggets, led by the one, the only, Nicola Joic, have just pulled off moves that scream one thing. They’re coming for the throne. This isn’t just a roster tweak. It’s a declaration of war on the Western Conference. We’re talking about a team that’s been battered, bruised, and counted out. Now, rising like a phoenix to challenge the NBA’s elite. Buckle up, because this is the story of redemption, resilience, and a Serbian superstar who’s rewriting the rules of greatness. But before we crown Denver the kings of the West, let’s unpack why Nicola Joic is the heart and soul of this revolution. Stay locked in. Let’s cut to the chase. Nicolic isn’t just the best player in the NBA’s. A once- in a generation phenomenon. At 30 years old, this 6’11 Serbian wizard is doing things on the court that defy logic, history, and gravity. Last season, Joic posted a jaw-dropping 29 assist points per game. Dots seven rebounds and 10 two assists, flirting with a triple double average while shooting 58 3% from the field and 35 9% from three. Those aren’t just numbers. They’re a middle finger to every critic who said a slow-footed big man couldn’t dominate in today’s NBA. He was runner up for MVP, narrowly edged out by Shy Gilgis Alexander, who rode OKC’s 64-18 record to the award. But make no mistake, Joic is the league’s true king. He’s the best shooting big man ever with a feathery touch that leaves defenders helpless. He’s the best passing big man ever, threading no look dimes that make Steve Nash look like a rookie. Rebounding, ball handling, outlet passes that spark fast breaks. There’s nothing nothing this man can’t do. And yet for years, the Nuggets front office has fumbled his prime, shackling him with bloated contracts and a revolving door of mediocre role players. They fell ass backward into drafting him 41st overall in 2014 during a Taco Bell commercial. No lesson then proceeded to squander his genius with moves that would make a G-League team blush. But now the tides are turning. Yic is like Adele at her peak. Give him a stage, a microphone, and a sliver of support, and he’ll deliver a masterpiece that leaves the world in awe. Yokic is a force of nature, but even he can’t win alone. So, what did Denver do to unshackle their superstar? Let’s dive into the blockbuster moves that flipped the script. Ding-dong, the proverbial witch is dead, or at least traded. The Denver Nuggets have finally exercised the demon that’s been haunting them. Michael Porter Jr. catastrophic $140 million a year contract. Let’s not sugarcoat it. MPJ is talented. At 610, he averaged 18 two points last season, shooting 54% from the field and 39 5% from three. On paper, that’s a star. But in reality, he’s a one-dimensional liability who crumbles when it matters most. In the 2025 playoffs against OKC, Porter averaged a pathetic seven points per game on 32% shooting across seven games. 7 points for $40 million. That’s not a contract, that’s a heist. And don’t forget his 2024 playoff flop against Minnesota. 11 points per game on 37% shooting. This guy’s been paid like an all-star while playing like a benchwarmer in the clutch. The Nuggets front office, long a laughingstock for their ineptitude, finally grew a backbone. They shipped MPJ and a 2032 firstround pick to the Nets for Cam Johnson, a 29-year-old 3 and Dwing who averaged 188 points and shot 39% from deep last season. Here’s the kicker. Johnson’s contract is $21 million next year, nearly half of Porters. Plus, he’s a defensive upgrade who can create off the dribble and doesn’t vanish in big moments. This move also pulled Denver out of the CBA’s punishing apron tier, unlocking a $14 million non-t taxpayer mid-level exception. Suddenly, the Nuggets have cap flexibility, a better roster, and a renewed sense of purpose. The West is on notice. Denver’s done playing nice. Trading MPJ was a gamecher. But Denver didn’t stop there. They went all in to build a championship machine around Jokic. Let’s meet the new blood in the Mile High City. The Nuggets didn’t just trim the fat. They sculpted a contender from the ground up. First up, Cam Johnson. The sharp shooting wing Joic has been dreaming of. With 18, eight points per game and a buttery 39% from three. Johnson is a two-way threat who stretches defenses and locks down opponents. Then there’s Bruce Brown, the 2023 championship hero, back on a one-year, $8 million deal to bring grit, hustle, and clutch. Plays off the bench. Brown’s not here to starts a spark plug. The kind of guy who swings games with a steel, a dive, or a dagger three. He averaged 10, seven points and two nine assists in 2023 with Denver, and he’s ready to relive that magic. Next, meet Jonas Valencian, the 6’11, 265-lb beast acquired from Sacramento for Dario Cerak and a second round pick. Valanchunas with 10 four points and seven seven rebounds last season is the perfect backup for Joic. His bone crushing screens, rim protection, and postcoring will keep Denver’s second unit humming when the Joker rests. And let’s not overlook Tim Hardaway Jr. signed for the veteran minimum after a buyout from Detroit. Hardaway’s 14, four points, and 40 3% three-point shooting last season. Add another sniper to Denver’s Arsenal. These aren’t all-stars. They’re role players who fit. The result, Denver’s title odds soared from plus 1,000, 600 to plus 800, second only to OKC’s plus 600 per ESPN’s betting data. That’s the Jokic effect. Give him a few shooters and some depth and he’ll turn water into wine with Jokic leading and a revamped roster behind him. Denver’s ready to storm the West, but can they topple the Giants standing in their way? Let’s break it down. The Western Conference is a war zone, a brutal gauntlet of titans ready to tear each other apart. OKC, the defending champs, boast shy Gilgis Alexander, who dropped 31 six points per game last season on route to a 64 to 18 record. Houston’s got Kevin Durant, a 37year-old assassin still shooting 64 dos% true shooting. Minnesota’s Anthony Edwards is a one-man wrecking crew. And Dallas has Luca Donuch, a walking triple double. The Lakers with LeBron James defying father time are always lurking. This is no cakewalk, folks. This is a bloodbath. Yet Denver has something no one else does. Nicola Joic. This is the man who dragged a hobbled Nuggets squad to seven games against OKC last season with Aaron Gordon as his only reliable sidekick. Seven games. Now with Cam Johnson’s shooting, Bruce Brown’s heart, Valance Ununas’ muscle, and Hardaway’s sniping, the Nuggets are a problem. Analyst Colin Cowardd put it best. If I had to flip a coin today, I’d say Denver wins the 2026 title, and I’m with him. Jokic doesn’t need another All-Star. He doesn’t need KD or Giannis. Give him a stage, and he’ll carve up the West like a master chef. The question isn’t can Denver win, it’s who’s going to stop them. The Nuggets are no longer a one-man show. They’re a symphony, and Joic is the conductor. Denver’s on the cusp of greatness, but it’s up to you to weigh in. Let’s wrap this up with a call to action. Hoops. Insider Nation. The Denver Nuggets are back and Nicola Joic is ready to cement his legacy as the greatest big man to ever touch a basketball. This is a team reborn, a franchise unshackled, a superstar unleashed. 1. I like MPJ but his contract was a joke. Jamal's contract is also bad. 85% of the Nuggets salary was devoted to 4 players and only one of those has made a all star game and that is Jokic. MPJ and Cam both are injured about the same amount but your paying one alot less.

  2. Call when you're an idiot it's not about all star it's about Champions nobody gives a rat's ass about all stars stop overriding the all stars All Stars they all stars is strictly entertainment get off the All-Star gar the All-Star garbage is overrated it's pure entertainment Jamal Murray is a champion and it was because of his heroics because of him being Unstoppable that they win that title yes it's a team sport they all played a role that's true but without Jamal Murray taking it to his second Superstar level they don't win a title without Jamal being Unstoppable stop kidding yourself nobody gives a crate championships matter not all stars dummy
