Nikola Vucevic Staying With Chicago Bulls!? | Jonathan Kuminga Deal Likely Won’t Happen

A lot of us in Bulls Nation want to see Nicolus moved off our team, but he’s still on the roster. And it’s a chance that he might still be here for a little while longer. And for a lot of us that wanted to see a sign of trade happen with Jonathan Kuminga and the Golden State Warriors, it’s being reported that those chances are very, very slim. Let’s talk about it. But y’all know before we talk about it, you gotta hit the music first. Come yet [Music] Bulls podcast with the cognac boys. I’m Conac Boy Bobby and I’m holding it down on another daily episode. So, if you tuned in, locked in, and ready to talk basketball, make sure you go ahead and hit that like button and subscribe to the channel. Man, y’all been supporting us in a major major way. So, we say thank you. We appreciate y’all. But let’s get into the topic. My man’s Nicolus, it appears that he will be sticking around a little while longer, man. And uh I know that’s not music to a lot of y’all ears, but the reality is is what the reality is is that it ain’t that many options out there for Nicolus to not be a Chicago Bull. A lot of teams right now, they have pivoted and they already locked up several big men. You seen Miles Turner go over there with the Milwaukee Bucks. You just seen DeAndre Aiden yesterday go to the Los Angeles Lakers. You seen teams go out there like the Los Angeles Clippers, sign a Brook Lopez. It’s it’s real real thin over here for the Chicago Bulls option. And I’m just sitting here wondering like, bro, why us? Why us? Why? And that’s not to say that Nikolus is a bad player because I think Nikolovich is still a solid player that can go out there and produce for any team around the league that has a need for a big man. It’s just looking at my current situation with the Chicago Bulls and looking at them like, “Bro, we really got to deal with this again. We know the issues. We know how we feeling.” So, I got to ask, how would y’all feel if Nico Levous was still on this team come game one of the start of the new NBA season? How would you necessarily feel? Would you feel good? Type good. Would you feel bad? Type bad. Cuz cuz right now I will feel bad. I ain’t even gonna lie to you. I just think that even though I know Nicolola is a for sure double dough, I just feel like I would have been okay with going into this season with Zack Collins and Jaylen Smith running a show in our front court and being the big mans that are going to be more athletic, more better on the defensive side. may not be able to give the scoring on the offensive side of the ball like a Nikolus, but I would have been okay with that because my expectations moving into the next season is that Montes is going to get way more opportunities to show what he’s made of to see if he can eventually take a step forward. I’m anticipating Kobe White to still be that 20 point per game scorer. And I’m looking at Josh Giddy to fill the stat sheet. That’s just me. and I’m looking at other guys to go out there and produce and help the team be able to grab a couple wins this upcoming season. My whole thing with Nicolus is nothing personal. I want to make that clear. It’s just that we got all these young guys with a old guy that virtually checked out on the Chicago Bulls until about January, late January, early February to see if he can get up out of here. And then he noticed that he couldn’t get up out of here. And then that’s when he kind of bought in to see if he can help the Chicago Bulls. He played a different way. Still not great, but he played a different way. And now with all those options being very very slim, we can’t move them, bro. We can’t move him. But I gota I got I gotta just buy him out. But we already know that Jerry Rydorf ain’t gonna buy him out. He ain’t gonna buy him out. Jerry Ryan Dorf is going to allow Nick Olivus to just sit right here and play out the last year of the contract. And I’m not necessarily mad at it, but I am upset. I’m not even gonna lie to you. But we heard from my man’s uh Jake Fischer that the Warriors that was once linked to Nicolus, they have moved on to look at other options. Can you believe it, guys? Guess who the other option is? Big old Al Hawer. big old old Hower. It’s just that crazy to me. I don’t necessarily know if that’s the best way for the Golden State Warriors, but it’s not my team. So, I don’t necessarily care. I care about the Chicago Bulls and I say go to State, y’all both. That’s how I’m looking at. I’m looking at the Golden State Warriors and say, “Hey, hey, I understand that Al Horford is a champion. He probably can be able to slide his feet a little bit better on the defensive side. That corner three is going to be available to that for you. But I’m saying damn, is he going to be able to hold up for 82 games like a Nikolus? Nikolus, as much as I can’t stand him sometime, hey, he’s a durable basketball player. He can be that for you. But hey, they probably seen some of the things that had had Chicago Bulls fans banging their head on the desk and slamming their damn keyboards and throwing their mouse across the room watching Nicolus play defense. But damn, am I talking too much? Y’all let me know. Maybe some Golden State Warrior or somebody is hearing this and they like, “Come on, big dog. We You mean to tell me?” Yeah, I mean to tell you, but you still gonna still get some out of uh my man Nikolus that could be productive for you. But it is what it is. I mean, it’s still time to try to figure all of this out. But I’m telling you, I am not that optimistic that Nicolola will be moved. And I know for a fact I am not the only one that just randomly thinks every day when a move is announced like damn Nicolus still on my team. I know I’m not the only one. I think I bro yesterday I’m not even gonna hold y’all. Yesterday I was just randomly driving. There was a commercial coming on while I was listening to my audio book. You know a little a little pause right there. And I was like, why is Nick Olusovich still on my team? That’s just it was random as ever, but I gotta keep it. I gotta keep it a buck and I gotta call a spade a spade. Why is Nick Olivus still on my team? Like, and then you look at the Chicago Bulls drafting my man Noah Essen and you like, damn, Nico Leavus still fa to be the center. But hey, maybe he could come in in the Chicago Bulls. Feel like he could still be a a solid piece for the the overall team. But then I still look at what is still going to be present on for the basketball team. But hey, it is what it is. You got to chalk it up to the game. What else is new? And hey, you maybe it’s a good thing. Maybe somebody tried to finesse the Chicago Bulls and try to give up a first round pick instead of us trying to retain some picks. But it is a sign that hey this just what we got to deal with at this particular moment. But I will say I hope we ain’t got long. I hope we ain’t got long. I hope we ain’t got long. But in other news and that connection to Nick Olivus at one point that brought us a lot of hope. It brought us a lot of hope in a signing trade for Nicolola and Jonathan Kuminga. But are we already hearing something that’s being reported that hey those chances are very unlikely that that is executed in an attempt to get Nicolvous over there in Golden State with a connection to Jonathan Kuminga. Now, Nicolus still could be moved to go to state, but the chances of it just a straightup deal for Jonathan Kuminga, those are very very low odds at this particular moment simply because according to the the CBA and the rules of the CBA that my man’s Adam Silva implemented to make a lot of things more tougher right now when we trying to get up off of somebody like a Lousvich, it ain’t it don’t look like it’s happening, y’all. simply because the Golden State Warriors, they can only uh take back accept back half of the salary of Jonathan Kuma. So, the only way that the Chicago Bulls can get Jonathan Kuma and get rid of Nikolus is if the Golden State Warriors give him $40 million. And Jonathan Kinga can’t get $40 million right now. I’m not even gonna hold you. I think Jonathan Kinga has a high up. Well, uh, he has some upside. I’m not going to say how. I think he still got some room to grow within his game. I still think that he has a lot of different things that you could utilize for a young team if he was coming to the Chicago Bulls. I still have my questions about Jonathan Kuminga, how he necessarily fits with the Golden State Warriors, but he ain’t getting 40 mil. And that just is another gut punch to the fact that we ain’t getting him and Nicolola might be hit or stay. That’s how all those things connect. That’s how all those things connect. So, just to break it all home, look man, a lot of teams, they already made their moves to go out there and get their centers. You even see Yaka Purle get a honey meal. Hold on. With the Toronto Raptors, I was like, sheesh. YaKob, get your money then, YaKob. I ain’t mad at you, big dog. But yeah, the chances of Nikico Levous moving from the Chicago Bulls is pretty much slim to none. Unless Jerry says, “We’re gonna buy you out, big dog.” Or if Nicolus just gets so ticked off, he don’t even want to show up. Hey, somebody got something to say to Nicolus. Somebody got something to send to Nicolola for him to say, “I don’t even want to show up. I want to get traded.” Hey, we taking all tickets. I ain’t even gonna lie to y’all. We taking all tickets to get my man’s Nicolus to a new team. You old big dog, go play for a championship. We trying to let these young bucks run. We trying to let these young bucks run. And I’m not saying Nicolus can’t run, but uh he ain’t running that fast. He can run. He ain’t running that fast. So, but hey, it is what it is, man. Look, this is the cost to do a business. This is type of things that happen. This is what happens when you resign players. And I wasn’t necessarily mad at the resigning. So, I’m not going to sit up here and act like I was highly upset that they resigned them. It’s just that at this particular moment, I feel that it is necessary to move on. I think both sides should move on. V should go out there and give you 18 and 11 for a contending team. Allow my mans Jaylen Smith and Zack Collins to be able to show us what they’re made of and see what they could potentially give us. Hell, let you run a few games. I’m just saying, you know, I’m just saying that’s all I was asking for. Maybe I was asking for a little bit too much. Maybe, hey, me maybe my way too early starting five prediction was just way out of Hey, I’m close. I was close. But it is what it is, man. This is the This is what happens when you do business in the game. And right now there’s a lot of teams that is struggling to make uh certain decisions simply because they don’t necessarily want to bend or they don’t necessarily want to cross certain aprons or they feel like they want to be blown away by said offer. And the only way that somebody gonna be blown away by, you know, trading for Nicolus if they feel like they’re getting a better half of the deal or if the Chicago Bulls, in my opinion, gives up one of their young players, I do a Kobe White or something like that. And I don’t necessarily think the Chicago Bulls want to go that way, at least right now. So, hey, we gonna be playing 50 Cent patiently waiting because that’s what we gonna be doing. We gonna be patiently waiting for Bro, but hey y’all let me know your thoughts and everything down below. How y’all feeling about this Nicolus stuff not being able to go after Jonathan Kuminga. I’m cool with both of them, I guess, cuz I don’t have a choice. But hey, if I had a choice, I’ll buy I’ll buy Nicolus out. I ain’t even gonna hold you. I buy him out. Buy him out. Let him go. Buy him out. Let him go. But it is what it is, man. But in the meantime, in between time, man, I’m up out of here. That is it for today’s episode. 1. I'm beginning to believe the Bulls have a bigger problem than just the players it seems as if teams don't respect our front office and don't want to deal with them

  2. Vuc ain’t goin nowhere unfortunately. This sorry ass front office really don’t wanna trade him. They had more than enough time

  3. Good.

why do people want him gone? just so we can lose more?

i'm not sure why bulls fans wants us to lose. its a losers mentality. Vuc helps us win.

Let him walk after next year.

I was really hoping we'd get a young big with upside like Maluach. I thought maybe we should have found a way to get him.

Hopefully, next year we find a 3 & D big that can block shots. thats what every modern team needs.

  4. His feet just won't move on defense. Their primary issue on defense. Can't out shoot teams every night. Sometime you have the just stop a team on defense. Something has to get done.

  5. Warriors are holding Kuminga hostage he would be a starter for the BULLS. Kerr only trust his core, offer 25 mil and force there hand Giddy takes 19 mil the first year of his potential contract or plays on QO. Indy and Boston should have injury exemptions and the bulls still have exception money to waive ZC VUC Hueter and or Carter.

  6. DO NOT SEND HIM ANYWHERE!!! THE SAME WAY YALL TELL ME “IT AINT ALL ON BILLY”, “IT AINT ALL ON AK”, 🗣️IT AINT ALL ON VUC!!!!🗣️EXTEND VUC!
