The Hornets get some front court death competing uh contract Mark Bottlestein of Priority Sports for Palley’s 13th season, right? So, it’s a veteran center. He’s been you move he’s moved around a lot, right? You see what I’m saying? It’s a one-year deal, everybody. They haven’t signed him for three or four years. It’s a one-year deal. So, it’s a pass through deal. It’s a deal where they can let him go at any time. That deal is so small that they can buy him out if they want to. So Mason, I think with with uh [ __ ] Brener, I think that unless they’re looking for another center or a three or four, a four or a five, which is the last thing that Jeff needs to do now because he got plenty of ones, twos, and threes, right? then he’s more of a injury insurance and more of a like for Caulk cuz I think [ __ ] if Caulk Rena Cooks I think that eventually he’ll be the starting center. So even if they go and get a center everybody let’s monitor who they get at center. If they make moves to get a center they may not. They may make moves to get a four. Uh we gonna talk tonight. Like if it’s a one and done, I could understand maybe even getting a higher level center than Jason than than Mason Plumley so that they can kind of hold it down until Kbr is ready to step into the role. I think that Caulk Bren is further along in his development because he spent five years at a good program. So all he needs is to get up to speed with the NBA game and hopefully his, you know, hopefully his game will translate over. If it does, then Mason Plum Lee may not even be needed. But just in case Brener is having a little trouble, you got somebody because what it appears to me, shout out to you, Noble Knowledge, what it appears to me is that Jeff is going for the I think the the the the babysitting the babysitting of the uh of the of the uh of the playing game is over. So, you start Moose for that, right? Or put Moose in for those matchups, right? Whereas Plum Lee is slowooted, you know, on the Switch Plum Lee might get cooked. Plum Lee is more for bigger players. So Clum Lee, you get him for Joel Embiid and Joker and those players like you know you know you know uh and those type of players man you know that big more the traditional big centers that use more of their strength instead of finesse you know for defense and everything but he could he played pretty good when he started before but there are some centers that moves can’t match up with that it’s going to have to be an automatic double team you know what I’m saying some centers you know Ali at this point it’s on Melo are you oneonone let’s see it that’s That’s right. So, there’s an opportunity for teams to strike something while it’s hot next year because some of the main players are out for the East. And this may be the only for some of these teams, this may be the only chance that they may have to try to get to a finals, you know, or make a deep playoff run. Whoever the Hornets bring in, can you keep up with LaMelo Ball’s pace? Can you keep up with his pace? If you playing with him as a big, you got to be able to keep up with his pace. You got to have a high motor and you got to be able to catch Lamelo. LaMelo may pass the ball to the big at the last minute when he goes to the paint, right? LaMelo will do that.
