What’s kind of first impression of coach Brew? How he he’s operating?
Uh I mean I I mean I I don’t know. He dropped the set. I was like I never seen it before. It was a it was a good play. We executed it well. So I was I was very surprised. And one of the coaches like welcome to the NBA. So
And did you know much about him like as a player? Like do you
Yeah. Uh, so when I came here to um work out uh during the pre-draft process, I was talking to him and I I knew a little bit of history on him. Okay. What anything stick out that do you remember about him or
uh I told I told him I remember he he got a steal. He dunked and he fell on his face one time. So I I told him that and I uh and then I said every team he played on and stuff and I asked him who was the hardest person to guard and stuff like that.

What are you looking forward to most about the summer league experience? uh just to compete um and um and see some of my uh old teammates that I played with in high school and just and just uh got some people on my hit list. Hopefully I can get to him. So, you want to type You want to name him or No.

What are your early impressions of Jeremiah Fierce?
He he got that ball on the string. Uh had had his moments today. I mean, first day it happens, but um but uh so he know what to do next practice and just just looking forward the next practice.
Are you uh looking forward to having some minutes with Eve? Just kind of see what the two of you all do together out there.
Yeah, I was telling Coach House and um Coach Moose that uh that he going to love playing with me cuz I’m just going to keep throwing them loss and stuff and just uh help and just help the team and just both of us work well together and just get get better overall. Have they kind of told you that they’re going to allow you to kind of have the freedom with the ball that you had as much as Maryland?
Uh, for summerly, yeah, but coach coach Willie didn’t coach Green didn’t say nothing yet. So, for some, yeah.
Is that going to be hard? Obviously, you’ve played a certain way for so long. I mean, you seem like adaptable though, right? Like you’re kind of adaptable to whatever they want to do.
Uh, yeah. So, I just I’m just uh learning in a short amount of days just soaking. Uh, I feel like I’m a I’m a quick learner. uh pick up things. I know the game really well, so I think it should be easy.
Have you all enjoyed like New Orleans so far being here besides the heat maybe and the food and everything?
Yeah, I mean it it reminds me of Baltimore a lot. Like the people uh y’all food might be better, but um it just reminds me like down I mean y downtown better, too. So it it kind of reminds me of Baltimore. Both good foods, but y’all food’s better. Uh living situation, everything just reminds me of home.
It’s your It’s your food now, right?
Yeah. What’s the statement that you want to make? Um, I don’t know. I don’t know yet. Just I just want to be I just want to show that I’m one of the best that got drafted this year. It don’t matter that I went 13th, second, third, fourth. No matter. I just wanted to show that I’m the best. And do you have any memories like the summer league just watching it?
Oh, Zion ripped the ball from Kevin Ox. I remember that.
Mhm. You weren’t there, were you? You watched on TV or you been there?
No, I watched it on TV. Okay.
