Best BUDGET Basketball Shoes of 2025! So Far…

Yo, what up guys? I’m Sammy and welcome back to the Soul Drop. In this video, we’re going to be talking about the best budget shoes that you can get right now. So, I try to include some sales, right? But I try not to include sales because it’s not, you know, it’s not the actual price of the shoe. It might be a sale for like the next couple weeks and it’s, you know, not going to be available, but I want to help you guys out if you do see this video right when it comes out uh to get those sales. Also, for me, as far as the price goes, the the price limit is 120 bucks. I feel like that’s a pretty good price. Some of you guys don’t don’t like it that it’s 120 bucks. You guys think it’s a little bit high, but there are also a lot of options on this list for way cheaper than that as well. It’s just like, you know, uh like a first sign of your shoe. Like a budget shoe from like Nike is like 110 120 bucks. You know what I mean? Their most expensive shoe being like $200, you know? So, I feel like 120 bucks is a nice kind of cap. But anyways, if you guys do want to cop any of these shoes, I try to leave a feel link in Squish. If you do choose to get any of these shoes, it does help me if you buy through the link in description box or it’ll be right over here from like the YouTube link as well. And as always, thank you guys so much for all the support. But yeah, let’s get it started right off with the 361° Team Joker. So, the Team Joker is a very nice shoe. It retails for $110 or it’s on sale for $110, I believe. Uh, but yeah, it’s a really, really nice performer and it plays very similarly to the Joker 1, which also is an amazing performer. Right. So the traction you need to break in a little bit, but once you do has a nice bite, right? It’s not the hardest stop ever, but has a nice bite. Also feels very durable if you’re going to be playing on an outdoor court. Also for the cushion for 110 is very, very nice. It’s using full length quick CQ tech foam with a soft mesh tubble board. It’s so soft for the underfoot cushion. Very soft for the stepping comfort. Has a nice little bounce. Has good support as well for the overall shoe. The leather also doesn’t feel super cheap for the upper. You know what I mean? So uh yeah, definitely don’t sleep on the Teen Joker. definitely feel like people are sleeping on that shoe. It’s a very, very nice shoe, right? So, there’s that. Next, of course, we got the Nike A1. It retails for 115 bucks. It used to be $110, right? But Nike increased their price for all their shoes by five bucks pretty much. So, it’s 115 bucks, which kind of sucks, but still a pretty nice price. And also, that shoe has very, very nice performance. Uh, traction is very good. It’s pretty much top tier traction. You’re going to have really good stops, but also picks up very minimal dust. The cushion also super soft, very comfortable and it’s also very nice especially for the price you know Nike like seven eight years ago is just so stiff very very bad for the cushion but nowadays you know I mean especially with the use of cushon in all their shoes very soft plush you know impact protection is great you know the upper also it has more of like a stiffer feel once you break it in however it does have a like a softer feel to the upper but it’s more like stiff you know what I mean it prioritizes a little bit more of like a rigid supportive feel, but still gets kind of soft once you break it in. Right. So, uh, yeah, the A1. Very, very nice. If you’re a guard, it’s going to be very nice, but also if you’re a bigger dude, it should be a pretty nice option as well. So, there is the A1. Next, of course, we got the Sabrina 2. It doesn’t make the cut because it’s uh it retails for $130, but it’s it’s a pretty old shoe. It’s been out for a while, and a lot of the colorways are on sale for like 97 to like $105. So, uh, yeah, if you want to save some money on the Sabrina 2, then you guys already know that’s a top tier form of traction is top tier cushion. Also, it’s very, very nice. It’s one of the best core feels that you can get right now. But, uh, it has a nice compression in the heel with the cushion and a nice little subtle bounce in the forefoot from the Zoom unit, right? The upper very minimal. It’s not the most supportive feeling shoe. It’s a very nimble and soft feeling shoe, but uh, for most people it’ll be adequate, right? So, the Sabrina 2 very, very nice. Next, we got the Luca 77 by Jordan Brand. Of course, it’s Luca Donuch’s Luca Don Luca’s kind of like budget shoe, right? It retails, it used to retail for $100, but because of the $5 price increase, it’s 105 bucks, right? But yeah, that shoe actually surprised me. It’s actually pretty dang nice. The traction is very solid, right? Picks up a little bit of dust, but very, very solid once you break it in. The cushion also, it’s not the best, but uh it’s like pretty dang nice. You know, it was made for outdoor use. Impact protection is pretty dang good. The core heel also isn’t the best, but because the the actual foam is a little bit thicker, you have pretty nice impact protection. There’s a nice bit of like heel compression as well. Uh, so the cushion is pretty nice, right? The bottom loaded foroot zoom in is terrible though, right? But the upper also once you break in, it does get soft, but also it has a nice bit of support to it as well. So, uh, the Luca 77 if you’re looking for like a like an outdoor shoe first of all, but also if you’re looking for a very nice overall performer, it’s not it’s not going to be amazing, right? But uh it does everything very very well. It’s a shoe that’s put together very well. So uh yeah, Luca 77 is a very nice option. Next is the cheapest shoe on this list going for $80, which is the Nike GT Jump Academy. Right. So um actually I kind of enjoyed playing in that shoe. The only thing I didn’t like about it is that it’s a little bulky. It’s a little heavy feeling. You know what I mean? And obviously for a shoe that’s made for bigger dudes, it’s not going to be the best for guards, which I am a guard, but I still kind of enjoyed it. The traction is very solid. The cushion, again, it feels like the Luca 77 where it’s not the best for the cushion, but the foam is a little bit thicker, so you get pretty good impact protection. Not the best core feel. It’s kind of soft, you know what I mean? The upper also is not that bad for quality, but it is thick. It’s very cozy and comfortable, but it’s a little bit like bulkier feeling, you know what I mean? Comparing it to, I don’t know, like the the Sabrina 2, you know what I mean? So, however, again, you can make it work for your guard, but um yeah, if you don’t mind that kind of like bulkier feel, but it is a very cheap shoe. So, I did want to, you know, put it on this list. Next, of course, we got the AE1 and the AE1 Low. You know, it goes for like 110 bucks, but some colorways are on sale for like 100, you know, 90 bucks. Uh yeah, you guys already know the AU1 is a top tier performance. Very supportive feeling, very good for lockdown. You know, it is heavy, however, so just be careful with that. If you don’t mind the heavier shoes, you should be fine. But it’s a very responsive shoe, right? The traction is top tier. The cushion also is very nice. You get good core feel, but also really nice underfoot cushion as well. So, uh, yeah, there is the A1. I would suggest probably getting the A1 though. You know, just a regular A1. Don’t get the low because first of all, I don’t really like the tongue. The tongue is an independent tongue. It moves around. The regular A1 has the the straps. You know what I mean? The elastic straps on the side. It helps a little bit more for lock down as well. So, there’s that. Next, we got the Dawn issue 6. So, uh, it retails for $120, but there are some colorways available for like 80 to like 90 bucks, right? So, very, very good sale and it’s been on sale for a while now because it’s a old shoe, right? So, uh, yeah, you guys already know the Dichi 6 was one of my favorite hoop shoes of last year. Very nice responsive shoe, especially for guards. Cushion with the, uh, light strike. It’s very, very soft. You got a nice compression here in the heel. Uh, however, it’s not the best for stepping comfort comparing to, you know, like the A1 or uh the AE1 or like team Joker, you know, it’s a little bit stiffer feeling, you know, but also the traction is phenomenal and the upper is just so thin, very minimal, but the overall shoe has still has really nice support, right? So, Donn shoe 6 very, very nice. Looking forward to the Donn shoe 7, which is coming out in a couple weeks. So, there’s that. Next, we got the Wade DL1. So, DLO1, very, very nice performer. Uh, it retails for 120 bucks and it has very nice cushion for the price, right? So, the cushion is super duper soft, especially for the underfoot cushion. It’s using a soft mesh strollboard. The tracking also is very nice. However, it does pick up a little bit of dust, right? The upper also is very nice, especially for the quality. Feels soft, but also pretty supportive as well. Uh, there are some kind of like overlays in the places where you need support. So, yeah, the DLO one is a very good option. Next from Wave Wade, we got the Wade Flash. So that shoe usually retails for $100, but it’s been on sale for 90 bucks for a while now. So if you’re a guard and you want really good ventilation, first of all, and also you want a very, very lightweight, very thin, very minimal feeling shoe, that’s one of the best options, one of the best shoes that you can get right now, right? So the traction is very, very nice. You get amazing bite. Also, the cushion is very nice, right? The underfoot cushion is super duper soft because of the soft mesh board, but also you get a nice bit of heel compression too. Uh, and you have amazing core feel, right? Impact protection also is pretty good. It’s not the best, but pretty good, right? Also, the upper is just so thin. It just feels so lightweight on foot because it is lightweight, but has adequate support as well. So, yeah, the weight flash very, very nice, especially for only 90 bucks. Right. Next, we got the Shadow 6 and the Shadow 6 V2. So, the V2 is going to have better ventilation, right? It has a little bit more ventilation, but also some colorways of the regular Shadow 6 have a very thin upper as well. So, um yeah, I mean, if you want to save money, the regular Shadow 6 is on sale for like 100 bucks, right? Uh but yeah, the traction is very nice. Has a very solid bite, but also it is using tough rubber, so it’ll be good for durability. It’s using full length boom, which makes a cushion also pretty dang nice. The underoot cushion is also pretty soft. It’s not the softest, however, but it is pretty soft. And again, the upper is really thin, very, very soft as well. So, uh, yeah, the Shadow 6 and the Shadow 6 V2 are very, very nice options. Next, of course, we got the AR2, which I feel like is probably one of the best shoes on this list for the value. It’s only $100, guys. And, uh, yeah, the traction is phenomenal, right? But also, the cushion is super freaking nice for $100, you know what I mean? Like, it’s using their Showtime foam and the underfoot cushion is so soft and it also has a nice bit of bounce, but also the heel actually has a nice bit of compression as well. You know what I impact protection is great. So, the cushion is super nice, right? The upper also super minimal and very very thin. It’s not the most like durable uh feeling material. However, I feel like, you know, it’ll rip, you know, pretty easily. However, uh the overall shoe is supportive, but also gives you a nice lightweight, minimal feel, too. So, the AR2 is a very, very nice perform. Definitely don’t sleep on that shoe. And last but not least, we got the Shockwave 7 by Ant. And it was a little bit of a disappointment to me because it’s not super responsive feeling to me because of the cushion. And for me, like I’m an average weight dude. You know what I mean? And even for me, it was still kind of soft and kind of mushy feeling. So if you want a super soft, very, very comfortable feeling cushion, then that’s one of the best options that you can get, right? But again, it’s a little bit mushy. It’s a little unstable as well. The traction picked up a little bit of dust, too. But it’s $100, you know what I mean? $100, you’re getting uh really nice tech, really nice cushion or very comfortable cushion. Um, but for me, it just wasn’t the best because some minor issues, right? But I definitely feel like there is a market for people that want that type of feel. So, if you want that really soft feel, then definitely don’t sleep on the Shockwave 7. But anyways, that about concludes my list of the best budget shoes that you can get right now. Again, if you guys do want to get any of these shoes, I try to leave in the field link description box. But that’s it. Thank you guys for watching and I’ll see you guys in the next
