Houston Rockets Trading For Coby White??

Yo, what’s going on guys? This Houston Sports Talk back into the video days and here today we’re going talk about the Houston Rockets potentially trading for Kobe White. This is a trade I love to see the Rockets potentially try to go after to add in yet another score uh to the fold for the Rockets uh next to Kevin Durant and Alprrench and Men Thompson. Uh we saw the Rockets lose two shooting guards this off season in the in the Kevin Durant trade. I think it’d be great if the Rockets try to target a shooting guard here in Kobe White and continue to try to improve their three-point shooting. That’s something they’ve done this off season, adding in Dorian Finny Smith and Kevin Durant. And maybe they possibly could continue to add to it with Kobe White. Another great score, 20 points per game, 37% from the three this season, 37% from three in his career. Um 19 points per game last season. You look at the last two years, has shot really well from three. Uh made almost 600 threes this season. Um you know, 556 the season before that. So, he’s been well over 550 threes in the last two seasons. So, here’s another guy who can knock down threes for you. Look, I I don’t think Kobe White is going to be as expenses as expensive as you would think. Uh he is going into his last year of his deal and the Bulls have expressed that they are open and would like to move him. Um and so with that being known, I think the Rockets could potentially land Kobe White for cheap. I think one guy that has a lot of interest out there in the market uh is Cam Whitmore. It might have to be of the cost of Cam Whitmore. And you might have to give up the young stud who was a first round pick. Um you know, and and averaged 10 points per almost 10 points per game last season. Good three-point shooter, 36% in his first two seasons, only 16 minutes per game this year, averaging almost 10 points per game. Averaged 12 points per game and four rebounds per game in his rookie season, and has a lot of potential. He just needs playing time. that could be a great addition for this Bulls team. I think it’d be Cam Whitmore, Jock Landell, veteran center, not veteran, not really veteran center, but um center Jock Landell, and Cam Whitmore with like three second round picks for Kobe White. Keep in mind, Kobe White is an expiring deal. Um this very well might be a rental for the Rockets if they acquire Kobe White. Cam Whitmore has multiple years left on his deal. So does Jollandel. And look, I think you pack when whenever you package up like three to four second round picks, it gets near equivalent of trading a first round pick. So I think it would be a nice that’d be a nice price for the Rockets to get Kobe White and then you look at what this team would be after this trade potentially. You’d have Fred Van Vleet with Kobe White as the back court. And then you got Kevin Durant and Amen Thompson and Alpen Shenon. off the bench, you’d have Dorian Finny Smith, Jabari, Tari, Steven Adams, Reed Shepard, um, and such a good crew off the bench. Um, I I don’t know how likely this trade is to happen, but it’s a trade I thought about knowing Kobe White is available and knowing the Rockets needed the shooting guard position and knowing that they could still use more three-point shooting potentially.
