Uh Ronnie, so second day of practice. How do you feel like things went? Another successful day. Another successful day, man. You know, we uh play with a lot of pace. We got to put in some more things that we’re going to do and hopefully that’ll have some carryover, like I’ll always say, into the season, but uh things that we’re going to run in Vegas and uh the guys have fun doing it, it seemed like. So, I’m happy with it. We talked a little bit yesterday about Ryion being sort of a vet who knows the system. Is it also helpful to have a few guys who were on the remix last year who kind of know the organization and know the whole just kind of the way you guys do things? That’s what it all about. So some of these guys we know will be present on our G-League team this year. Um and we are married in that, you know, the remix and the Blazers, we do the same things, you know, we use the same jargon. We run the same things. So it’s a learning process for the whole organization top to bottom, you know, so it’s working out well.
Did a little bit better today than he did yesterday in his second practice? Absolutely. And it’s not like he did poorly yesterday at all. It’s just
Yeah, he just took another step in the right direction. So this is the thing if I have to give him a compliment about the day today is that we threw more things at him. terminology, different plays, and he picks it up just as quickly as you would expect a guy like him to pick it up. He’s he’s doing well. He’s doing well. He’s getting used to the pace of the game. You know, he’s getting more comfortable playing with his teammates, and you can see it. You know, he he really is I said it yesterday and I’ll say it again. He’s a quick learner. So, you’ll see strides. You will see probably a different player in the beginning of summer league towards the end as he gets comfortable. And he’s doing great. What are your impressions of Caleb? Caleb is Caleb is doing wonderful, man. U my thing with Caleb and I told him this just now so it’s fresh on my mind is that I want him as a guy who’s going to be handling the ball sometimes to be more vocal. He’s got a bit of a quiet nature but man he does a great job putting the pressure on the rim pressuring the ball both ends of the floor. He is he brings quite a bit of intensity you know and he’s skilled and tough and um the pace that we play at he fits right in. Um so I’m very happy with him over the first part of camp.
