The Washington Wizards May Have Just WON BIG With Cam Whitmore…

Ken Whitmore is back. Finally back home where he was supposed to be originally. It all comes back to full circle, dude. It’s the Dawkins theory of evolution. Will Dawkins, not that other dude watching W. That’s the crib. So, I mean, I’ve been going to the games since I was a little kid. Just um having that memory is definitely a special place, you know, I have in my heart, you know, just going to games with my dad. But um I mean that’s the crib. So I got to got to represent and just um just know that uh Washington Wizards, you know, still have you know such special play in my heart. If you are 67, have a promising stroke and can switch on defense, you’re going to be rounded up by the Dawkins brigade. Brigade, whatever the hell. It sounds cool. That’s his type. That’s Dawkins’s prototypical type. His dentist is 67 and can switch on defense. That’s his type. Now, people might be thinking, “Alonso, what’s with the log jam, you dumb dick? Get sick of small. How many wings do we need? More. I want more. I’m I’m a Dawkins prototype, too.” I’m 5 foot seven, not six, so I ain’t [ __ ] But I I I don’t care if we have a log jam, dude. Look at the Pacers. Look at They had wings for days. Dude, our new nickname, the Washington Wild Wings. [ __ ] [ __ ] the Buffalo Wild Wing. Washington Wild Wings. I love this trait. Low risk, high reward. Two second round picks. I’m going to get to that later. But yeah, man. If you enjoy this video, please like and subscribe. I would truly appreciate it. I’m not going to yell anymore. The [ __ ] What am I going to y the [ __ ] What about I got to yell for? Um, so so basically I I didn’t even announce a freaking trade. This is the trade details. You know, we got Cam Whitmore, number 20th overall pick in 2023 NBA draft along with Bulak Kabali, the same draft. Got Cam Whitmore for two future second round picks. Uh 2026 second round pick via Chicago and a 2029 second round pick via Sacramento. So, you know, before I continue on with this video, and I’m going to say this, I loved Cam Whitmore coming out the draft. I actually wanted him. Um but I’m going to get to a little bit later before I get to anything else. two second round picks. Where’s the people who complain about having too many second round picks? I don’t really talk [ __ ] on this channel. I mean, no, I don’t talk [ __ ] I talk [ __ ] about myself, but like I I I I I want to hear from that crowd who [ __ ] on well Dawkins for trading for having too many second round picks. This is what we get these second round picks for so that we can take swings at guys who have high upside like Kenymore. we can move up in the draft, you know, without giving up a first round pick. Put them together like the Reggie Jackson trade, multiple second round picks, and we get a late first. Now, where’s the crowd? I want to hear from this crowd, dude. I want you to stand up. Stand up. If you’re in the middle of the movie theaters, stand up. I don’t give a [ __ ] If you’re you’re probably watching Wicked for the fourth time in a row, stand up and say I’m sorry. Not to me. I don’t [ __ ] me. I don’t to Will Dawkins. I don’t want to hear anymore about people complaining about second round picks. This is what we get them for for these type of trades. All right, enough. I don’t want to shame people to guilt. You know, the [ __ ] people might self harm themselves. Like, but still, come on now. This is what this is exactly. People think that we get these second round picks just so that we can draft second round picks out the ass. No, dude. They’re capital. Draft capital. But anyways, I had to get it off my ch. But please stand up. If you’re already standing in line at Trader Joe’s and you’re guilty of this, stand taller. Please. Enough with this whole second round B. There will be no second round pick bashing in this channel. I needed to get off my chest. All right, now for real. No more yelling. So, this trade got looped in apparently. I’mma put the report right here. I got looped in apparently with the Jordan Pull trade. I read this yesterday on the stream. Thank you very much to everybody who cpped on the stream. The stream’s still h the stream’s a little bit [ __ ] Honestly, I’m not gonna lie. The a I messed up with the audio. Thank you to everybody joining the stream, but I read this in the stream saying that Keith Smith tweet tweeted this out saying that this deal is not the final deal because we currently have 16 men on the roster and apparently there’s a report right here that this trade will be included along with a Jordan pool trade. So, it hasn’t been finalized yet. I mean, the deal has been agreed in principle, but you know, but anyways, I wanted to get to this first. So, we all know the story. Ken Whitmore, top 10 talent. I saw this man top five. Okay. But top 10 talent and fell to pick 20th. Why, bro? I spent three hours on Google this morning searching up the main reason why. And this is what I got. All right. So, first, there was an injury concern. Now, this one was a little bit tricky. I’m gonna put the reports right here so you guys don’t think I’m pulling something out of my ass. injury concern, but there was never really anything further upon that. I felt like that was smoke from other teams so that he can fall down the draft, probably from the Rockets, but there were injury concerns. I read a stat saying that he had a thumb injury at Villanova, played 20 out of 26 games. That’s not a concern to me. I’m putting it right here, though. So, that was one thing. Second was he interviewed poorly at the combine. There were some maturity concerns regarding him. Again, he was 19 years old, but I don’t want to make you excuses for him. But that was another thing that kept coming out. Another thing is that he had this quote unquote lazy fair attitude. I don’t speak French, but you know, that’s what his thing. He had this whole demeanor like people thought he didn’t take the game seriously. That was that was the perception. Now, is that true? I don’t think so. But, you know, and also apparently I’m I’mma add this on here too, that he was apparently struggling at times with his shooting intensity during his individual team workouts per ESPN. So, yeah, those things. But when I saw that pick, I was like, we all saw this pick, I was just like, this is great value for Houston. They’ve already got a nice young squad. And what happens? This man barely plays. He barely plays. But when he did play, he showed flashes. flashes of, you know, the immense offside, especially offensively. We all know what this this man is a scoring machine and I’m gonna get to that a little bit later on, but I also want to talk about this because we all know as well, we talked about why he fell, perceived concerns. Now, I think the most important thing is why didn’t he play that much in Houston? I spent another three hours in the morning looking for this on Google. What exactly happened? Okay, I couldn’t find the email clips talking about him. There was quotes, you know, it was regarding just three things. Kind of the same things from college, you know. First off, his playmaking ability. This man has tunnel vision. I would feel like that was like the main reason why he didn’t play, but that was one of the reasons. I think the main reason why he didn’t play is overall defensive mindset. You know, Eimeoka, if you if you’re immok if you ain’t gonna switch on defense, [ __ ] you ain’t gonna play. You’re not gonna play. So his defensive like he needed to be locked in. That was number two. And third was his shot selection. I mean this man’s a bucket. This man’s a walking bucket. But then again, you know, he forced some shots up and Eay Yudoka didn’t like that. Play within the system. Da da da. And also apparently this year, you know, there was like I wouldn’t say I feel like I’m, you know, I’m reading like a Taylor Nolla to you guys. You know what I mean? Oh [ __ ] Let’s have it on there. No, no. But like I can’t prove it up with videos, but I’m gonna prove it up with, you know, articles here that I’m gonna post here. What happened was this year Ken Whitmore kind of went back and forth with the Rockets and kind of went back and forth with Eudoka kind of. I’m not going to sit here and say it was just like, you know, a a sort of nuisance on the team. But Ken Wilmore was discouraged with his playing time and his overall inconsistency playing, you know, as one kind of should be kind of, you know, I mean, like, you know, but then again, you got to earn it. You got to earn it. I’m I’m I’m the captain. You got to earn it. I don’t care how much upset you have, you have to earn it. Especially on a deep playoff team like the Rock, not a deep play a playoff team or the Rockets. They can be deep playoffs like this here. I don’t want to offend them, but anyways. So, he said this. This was an interview and I’m going to put it right here. You’ve done enough to show that you deserve a consistent role and consistent.
No. No. Don’t. No.
What more do you think you need today?
True. I don’t know. I mean, I really don’t know. I have a lot of question marks for myself just as you guys too, but uh yeah, I have no idea. I don’t know where other obviously he looks discouraged. This was in January. He looks kind of like he’s like, I’m out. I’m I’m done. I I ain’t going to play with He not going to play me if I freaking put up 40, you know. And I’ve heard quotes Bitmore said this. He said, quote unquote, I contribute a little bit, but it doesn’t affect anything. It won’t get me anywhere, but we’ll see what happens. Just glad we got the win. Obviously looks a little bit discouraged. This was a report from college that I feel like kind of correlates to what I’m talking about right now because I feel like this is kind of the reason why Ken Whitmore didn’t really play as much as well in college. It says that Whitmore was not a practice type player and didn’t look that good during the week, but once he played, he was one of the better players in the game. And that’s going to have to change at the NBA level. Again, with the lazy fair attitude. Okay. Um, and Emma Yudoka said this, and I couldn’t freaking find a clip. I couldn’t freaking find the clip, but he said, here’s the quote. Eudoka, I was a little caught off guard by that as well because we’ve had in-depth conversations with Cam probably more than anybody. I am pretty clear with what is going to get you on the court and what’s going to help you maintain a role. So, I’ll leave it at that as far as that, but plenty of conversations. Okay, I’m not too This is not no red flag. If I had a red flag, I’m not throwing it on this. I’m not, you know, but it is something you have to raise. I’m not going to sit here and know the facts. Okay, so that’s what happened. You know, it looks like Emma Yodoka wanted Cam Whitmore to produce at other levels besides offense, besides scoring rightfully so. The Rockets have other plenty of talented scorers on their team. They don’t need it, you know. But Cam, I don’t know. It looks like he didn’t really adjust or it looks like, you know, I got to put myself in Cam’s shoes. I’m just like, this man, I’m scoring freaking 20 when I’m a starter and I’ll put give it that a little bit later on and I can’t get any freaking minutes. So, it it wasn’t really a matchman in heaven, but you know, anyways, I just wanted to share that with you guys that you guys have that any notes, I want to read to you guys two stats regarding Kent Wmore’s time in Houston. All right, before I get to his overall stats, Kent Whitmore has the most points per minute by an active player off the bench, which 62. He leads DeAndre Hardner, Yonas Jonas Vonunis, Jordan Clarkson, dudes who are just high powered offensive off the bench. Like, you can see it. And then C Wmore stats as a starter with the Rockets is as follows. 20.2 points per game, 6.8 rebounds, 1.2 blocks on 54% from the field and 47% from the three. You can see the talent, his overall stats. I mean, his first year 12.3 points in only 18 minutes. Last year, 9.4 points, a dip on only 16 minutes. you know, shooting splits, primarily shooting 36% from a three on a healthy amount of four attempts per game, five attempts in his rookie year. Um, the one thing I want to note though, coming out of college, this man had tunnel vision. He he he’s not going to he’s not going to contribute to playmaking. You know, only averaged one assist, 0.7 his first year, one assist last year. Just to out there, you know, there’s not much really to show. I mean, the man played only 51 games last year, you know, started three games, 47 games his rookie year. I mean like there’s not that’s not a huge sample to go off of. Overall, I mean like I want to go on his weaknesses. He’s deemed as a streaky shooter. You know, he needs to improve his free throw shooting as well. Again, may not be a natural playmaker, but we got other playmakers on the 35. So, but I don’t think that that will ever be his bread and butter. Um he can tend to be, you know, over dribble at times u which can lead obviously to turnovers. Um, and he could be, again, he’s just as of right now, he’s just undisiplined defensively. Great scorer off the dribble, immense athlete, 40.5 inch vertical. We saw his highlight reels. Like, the [ __ ] Well, it’s just to me, he’s one of the best dunk montages I saw on YouTube. It was good. Like I said, good rebounder for his size. He had stints since joining the NBA that caught the eyes of several NBA players. Like, this is a clip that I talked about on my stream that I said I was going to freaking find and I found. It took me hours though for Paul George talking about Cam Whitmore.
Cam Whitmore from Houston. He’s a player that I think is going to shake up some things in Houston and and can be a star player. I saw stardom on both ends. He played hard on both ends. He can shoot it. He can handle. He’s explosive. He was strong. He had a nastiness to him that you don’t really see in a lot of a lot of super young guys. He’s a name that I think, you know, because he’s a rookie, hasn’t had much coverage on him, but he will be good and he’s he’s good now. I love this trade, man. I love this trade. Low risk, high reward, man’s 20, about to be 21 in a couple days. You know, again, with the log jam wings, I don’t care. I don’t care. I don’t care. Let the best man win. That’s my mentality. Let the best man win. Competition breeds greatness. I’m always going to say that. So, ideally, I’d like to think that Cory Kper might be on the move. You know, there was reports another one came out today saying that Cory Krisper is still, you know, available be a trade, but you know, we don’t know regarding that. But I love this trade, man. Gave up two second round picks for a guy who could be in your rotation, could be a starter, could be a start. We don’t know yet. We don’t know. In a season where it’s going to be a loss season, let’s be honest, it’s going to be a loss season this upcoming year. We all know this. You know, most important thing, develop the Young Bucks and secure our pick, which is top eight protected. That’s the most important things in my opinion this upcoming season. Should hopefully get consistent minutes. I don’t know if it’s going to be 30 minutes per game. That’s going to be up to him. That’s going to be up to him. But a local kid, DMV, Maryland kid, red line, if you know, you know. Maryland. Like I’m Maryland kid, too. So, you know, I love this. I want to read a couple shout outs, though. Uh, so I’m not that one of these reports. I have more reports, y’all. Um, I want to give a shout out to the Rockets. Report came out basically saying that the Rockets ensured that they treated Ken Whitmore to a destination where they think he’ll grow as a player. Much respect. Uh, now I need to stand up. The [ __ ] I was telling people to stand up. I’mma stand up. Much respect to the freaking Rockets. I love that. Much respect to I I only stood like that because I want to make sure I’m still in the video. You don’t really see organizations do that, you know. Second, I want to give a shout out to the Phoenix Suns. Apparently, Cam Whitmore was included in the trade for Kevin Durant and the fun said, “Nah, I want those second round picks instead and they opted for the second round picks that the Rockets offer instead of Ken Whitmore.” I guess I should stand up again. The [ __ ] Stand up again. Um, kudos to the Phoenix Suns. I don’t know. Listen, I don’t know if Phoenix is on the payroll for us. If they are, thank you. They are blessing. They are blessing us. If they took Bradley Beal, now they let us get freaking Ken Whitmore. Overall assessment on this trade. A not a minus, not A+. Complete A. 95 for all the math geeks. Love this trade. Hopefully it works out well with Kmore. I wanted him coming out of the draft in 2023. We got Balak Kabali and we got Cam Whitmore. Those are two of my dudes in the draft. Actually, no. Those are those were my two dudes in the draft. We got them both. Now we have this great environment finally. We have great veterans to lead these young Bucks. Shout out to Will Dawkins, man. Shout out to Will Dawkins. Lovely trade. But yeah, man. If you enjoy this video, please like and subscribe. I truly appreciate it. Till the next video. Peace, y’all. Side note, I also want to announce this. You know, the Wizards officially announced the Jordan Pool trade and they said like a farewell posted Jordan Pull. Say, “Oh, Jordan P. Thank you for everything. And then like two minutes later, they did a farewell post for Sadiq Bay and they were like, “Thanks. Thanks, Sadique Bay. Thanks.” You know, I was just like, “What the [ __ ] Go for Oh my god. Thank you. Oh my god. Thank you for everything. Thanks.” You know, um, bro, what the [ __ ] Oh, hell no, man.
Come on now, dog. Come on, man. I can’t. I can’t. I can’t. I can’t. I

LOVE THIS TRADE!

  1. The Wizards are going to have a full 82 game season of summer league. Lets see who can earn a permanent spot on the team! Cant wait!

  2. Hey if Dawkins ever needs help with advocacy / social impact work you got another 6'7" switchable wing ready to go right here

  3. Awesome. Don't know if you watch his podcasts that goes by 'Crushables'. He was factoring in Cam Whitmore in his new projections. He plays out like 5 years into the future. It's a trip. Chris Cencac I think in the 2026 draft for that big. Battle with Brooklyn Nets in 2029 and missing the NBA East title in 7. Wizards vs Spurs I think in 2030 NBA Championship and losing in 7.
