Myles Turner leaving Pacers to join the Bucks! What might be Pacers Plan B?
So depend so depending upon how you view Miles Turner as now a former member of the Indiana Pacers, you’re really either very happy today or you were despondent today over the news that Miles Turner is going to sign a 4-year $17 million deal to join the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks did some financial gymnastics with Damen Lillard’s deal and as a result they were able to open up a c enough cap space to be able to secure Miles Turner with that 4-year $17 million offer. Uh the Pacers, it is said by Sham Shirani, he’s the one reporting, had an aversion to going into the cap because of the injury to Tyrese Hallebert. They realized that, you know, with with Miles Turner, without Miles Turner, what are you going to be in 2025 2026? So, they decided not to go into the cap and as a result, Miles Turner moves on. Four years, $17 million. I don’t think that this is a death nail for the Indiana Pacers. I I think that this is this is a challenge. And so Kevin Pritchard, Chad Buchanan, they’re going to have to get very creative and figure out what they’re going to do at the center position, but they do have pieces to be able to use in order to get kind of a plan B. And maybe that plan B turns into a plan A because we know what Miles Turner is. And what Miles Turner has been over his 10 years with the Indiana Pacers is some good. He’s a good three-point shooter. He’s a good shot blocker. He is a terrible defender other than as a shot blocker and as an offensive player who needs to score the ball inside. He was woefully out of sorts as he played in the playoffs this year. Either he was going to hit threes or he was going to have a tough time scoring the basketball. So Miles Turner to the Milwaukee Bucks, four years, $17 million. And there you go. Deal done. All of a sudden, Miles Turner not a part of any conversation as to what the Pacers are going to be next season. The Bucks, did they get better, though? Brooke Lopez, he moves to the Clippers. And you got Miles Turner coming in at the age of 29 once he got left in the tank. His his stats have declined over the last couple years. No question about that. Interesting times for Pacers fans, for Miles Turner, for Bucks fans. Fred, this was kind of a bombshell, wasn’t
Pacers lose Myles Turner to the Milwaukee Bucks, and Pacers fans will wonder what’s next at the center position.

Peyton is goat
Why on gods green earth did they take 2 point guards in the draft
If the Pacers plan is to take a year off, I will as well on going to games.
It sucks that he left but I am not happy about him going to the Bucks. What can you do, smh
Did bucks upgrade in the center position 🤔
Turner always chokes in the playoffs . I think they will get a better player to replace him
I think its good he left he dont have that killer instinct like nemhart neismith hali and obi and mathurin
During the playoffs he didn't show up . Turned ball over alot. Rebounding was terrible.
Well this sucks all the best to Myles Turner 🤘🍔 And Let's Go Pacers Let's Go Colts Let's Go Fever 🤘🍔
Meh
That is a alout of money for Turner
The bucks though the bucks really
Peyton is GOAT, but Kent Sterling is GOLDEN.
It was time for him to move on, especially with his performance in the finals.
Should have done it 5 yrs ago
That’s fine, good for him. Sucks that he’s in the division but this isn’t like it’s the NFL.
See u peace out Turner
Peyton is the GOAT
I'm neither happy nor despondent
Holla Back!
Well, Myles will not be shooting 0-6 from 3 in the last 5 minutes of any game with the Bucks.
Turner didn't want $25M/year in Indy, so he left for almost $27M/year in Milwaukee? Sounds like he wanted to go. Time to replace his 10 & 4 per game. I'm ok with that. Also, keep that money for Mathurin and Toppin.
Is DeAndre Ayton a possible replacement? He's bigger an rebounds.
yay for both pacers and him
Myles is a standup dude, but he gets pushed around in the paint, cannot rebound like an NBA center, and is far too slow to play this team’s style of both offense AND defense. Sad to see him in a Bucks uniform, but VERY glad they let him go.
So the Pacers are trying to build an Abrams style tank, got it
Im a pacer fan i dont care whos stays or goes. Good for him getting his money
I hate to see him go, but I don't see it as devastating. I hope they keep Thomas Bryant as at least a back-up center. I think he is as good a shooter as MT was.
Very upset wtf Pacers
Glad he’s gone didn’t play well in the finals game especially the last one don’t think he cared either
Pacers gonna resign james Johnson for the fifth time to replace turner 😂
This is good for us go pacer nation 👏 🙌 👍 💪 🙏
Peyton manning is the goat
Pacers got fleeced by their division rival, that should be the headline
Without myles, I'm not seeing the team going to playoffs. I love how myles plays dude just trying not to get injured… anyways congrats to bucks
Peyton Manning is the goat.😊
Yes – I liked Myles – but let’s put $25M on a Big that will bang in the paint – Myles didn’t show jobs OKC – we got a year to get a top solution
Zion traded to the pacers
About time
I hate to lose him, but generally speaking, after 10 years, a player is on the back side of their career. I wish him the best of luck. Thank you, Miles, for the 10 years that you gave us Pacers fans.
This was a forgone conclusion. Best of luck to MT, he was a non factor in the finals and we aren’t competing next year without Hali.
I think loosing the Championship took the franchise way down !? But Turner really didn’t do much in the NBA finals !? Oh well Mabie they get back but it’s going to be awhile !?
Im happy we got rid of that bum… we would’ve won if we had sabonis 😒
