He earned every right to ask for 25 million. I have no doubt in my mind about that. I don’t think he gets it. I think the more practical deal would be around 20 million a year for Quinton Grimes, not 25. Is that a fair assessment of the situation?

Lmao yall insane for even thinking $20m per year. 1) the team was tanking, so of course he’s gonna look great, and 2) he’s gonna be the 4th or 5th player in the pecking order in addition to coming off the bench. That’s insanity.
The thing is players often look better when a team is doing bad. Look at all those early process guys who didn’t do anything when they left the team. More touches, more attenpts. Him scoring 20+ is as a first option I think if he still can with other scorers and showing the scoring a second year he shows that level of pay.
