Knicks Planning BLOCKBUSTER TRADE?! Mike Brown Wants To STEAL Bucks Assistant Coach | Knicks News
The Knicks could be preparing to make a blockbuster trade. According to reports, the Knicks are focused on only one superstar, and they’re looking to steal a familiar assistant coach to help seal the deal. We’re going to break down all of these latest reports today. But before we get started, about 54% of you watching this video right now are not subscribed to the channel. If you’re enjoying the content, please go ahead and hit that subscribe button because it could really support all the great content that we’re creating for you. And now, let’s get started. The Knicks want to hire a key Bucks assistant coach. The Knicks on the trade front have been quiet. too quiet, suspiciously quiet. There have been a number of reports linking certain players to New York via trade, but the Knicks are only interested in one player, Giannis Attempt Kmpo. Let’s break down all of these latest reports that we have here from NBA insider Steve Pauper. Shout out to Steve Pauper of News Day for giving us this following information. According to him, there is another reason why the Knicks passed on a potential LeBron James deal. The Knicks moves they made last summer cleared out assets. But what they have they will need to hold on to tightly right now because there are whispers and theories that Giannis Aente Kmpo will ask out of Milwaukee via trade. The Knicks do have assets still. The salary cap may make big money players less appealing than a boatload of draft picks, but they do have players who hold value. Carl Anthony Towns may be the starting point because he’s an allNBA talent who still has years left on his contract as he’ll turn 30 early in the season. All right, it’s clear New York has a goal in mind and that goal is hold all the assets you possibly can in a potential move for Giannis Attento right now. It’s pretty clear what the Knicks are doing. They’re not trading for any superstar, any major name. And why? It’s the same reason why they said no to Kevin Durant. likely a main reason they shut down the LeBron James trade talks. It’s because they only have eyes for one player and that player is Giannis. That was true last season. It’s true right now and it’s going to be true for the rest of this off season. However, the Knicks are not done there. They are pulling out all the stops. According to reports right now as we speak, the Knicks are trying to steal a key Bucks assistant coach from the Milwaukee Bucks. And we all now know the reason they’re trying to do that. anything, any move that the Knicks can make to entice Giannis to go to the Milwaukee Bucks and tell them directly, I want to trade out of Milwaukee and I want to go to New York. Anything the Knicks can do to push Giannis to that level, they’re going to do it. Even if that means stealing a key Bucks assistant coach and trying to add that person to Mike Brown’s coaching staff. And we’re talking about Darvin Ham. Shout out to NBA Central on the app X and NBA insider Mark Stein for giving us all of this following information here. According to them, the Knicks and the Suns are interested in adding Darvin Ham to their coaching staff. Here’s the exact quote from Mark Stein. Phoenix and now New York after the hiring of Mike Brown as the Knicks new head coach have expressed interest in trying to hire Darvin Ham away from the Bucks. They go into this a little bit further by giving us this following information here. The former Los Angeles Lakers head coach is currently with the Milwaukee Bucks under Doc Rivers and is labeled as a top assistant coach for the team. While Phoenix and New York have interest in him, Milwaukee is determined to keep him unless there was a head coaching gig available, which wouldn’t be the case with either of these two teams. Here’s the exact quote from Mark Stein. Yet, those would be considered lateral moves for Ham, who is Milwaukeekey’s top assistant to Doc Rivers. I’m told the Bucks love having Darvin Ham back back in their midst after his two season stint as the Lakers head coach and are determined to keep him in Brew Town unless he secures another head coaching opportunity elsewhere. Now you might be thinking this is great. Darvin Ham is a proven winner. Having him on any coaching staff is an absolute win. So, I can see why the Knicks want to do this. But what does it have to do with Giannis Attente Kmpo? Well, number one, he’s currently a top assistant in Milwaukee. But not only that, he has a very close relationship with Giannis, and I’m talking extremely close. Shout out to Google for helping to break down all of these following points for us. According to them, Darvin Ham developed a close relationship with Giannis during his time as an assistant coach with the Bucks. Giannis reportedly had significant input in the decision to bring Ham back to Milwaukee as a lead assistant coach in 2024. Giannis even expressed enthusiasm for when Darvin Ham was hired as the Lakers head coach, stating he was so happy for him and that it was about damn time that he was hired as a head coach. Everything starting to make sense now. Everything coming together for you guys now because this is the picture and this is always what it was supposed to look like. Giannis was always the prize of this off season and the Knicks clearly are not looking to trade for anybody else no matter what type of player they are unless their name is Giannis attentious when it came to LeBron James because they know it’s either Giannis or nobody. body. And honestly, I love this decision from the Knicks front office and I love this approach. Build in a way that’s going to help you win as many games next season. However, also have it in the back of your mind that you have the assets available in case Giannis becomes available for trade. And if that happens, the Knicks will be one of the teams on the phones first, calling the Milwaukee Bucks, seeing what type of trade package will land Giannis in New York because clearly that’s what the Knicks goal is and that’s what their objectives are to try to entice Giannis to join this Knicks team. I’m not saying that Darvin Ham by himself is a bad addition. He’s not. But why are they looking at key assistants in Milwaukee? It’s like they’re writing it on the wall for everyone. We want Giannis. We want to trade for the Greek freak. But unfortunately, he is still waiting to consider whether he wants out of Milwaukee or whether he wants to stay there. But clearly for New York in their perspective, they’re waiting for that other shoe to drop. They’re waiting for Giannis to request a trade out of Milwaukee. Trading for Giannis is a championship level move. And these are the moves Leon Rose and this Knicks front office absolutely want to make. And if you need more evidence, if you’re still not convinced, check out this final quote that we have from our newest coach Mike Brown on the Knicks potentially trading for Giannis. Shout out to Nick’s fan on the app X box office villain for giving us this following information. He was headed back from a trip from California and on his way back home to New York, he bumped into the Knicks new head coach, Mike Brown, and he asked him a question. Mike Brown, are we getting Giannis or Braun? Mike Brown said, I’m not trading my wings. The final note on this post says, “Downtoearth good dude. Excited for him.” I think a lot of Nick fans are equally excited to see what Mike Brown can do. But going back to his comments, I just want to mention he did not shut down any trade talk. All he said was, “I don’t want to trade any of my wings.” That means Josh Hart, Mikuel Bridges, OG Aninobi, they’re all safe. They’re not going to be traded. If the Knicks end up trading for Giannis Attento, it will not include any of those players. It might include Carl Anthony Towns. Whoever else is going to be on that list is going to have to depend on New York, the Milwaukee Bucks, and that entire situation. But it is clear after all these reports that we just reviewed, the Knicks are only looking at Giannis and they’re waiting for Giannis. And they’re making moves potentially to entice Giannis to come to this team. And one of those moves is trying to steal Darvin Ham, a key Milwaukee Bucks assistant coach from Milwaukee. That right there is an insane move. But only Leon Rose would think to this level and try to do it because he knows it’s Giannis or nobody, especially when it comes to making a blockbuster trade happen. But what about you guys? What do you think about Steve Pauper’s report here regarding the Knicks and their clear trade interest in Giannis? And what about New York trying to make other moves to land Giannis by getting Darvin Ham, a key assistant Milwaukee Bucks coach on this Knicks team? Let me know how you feel about that in the comments section below, guys, because honestly, I would love to hear from you. But that’s going to do it for this episode. I hope you enjoyed it. And if you did, go ahead and smash that like button, leave a comment below, and of course, guys, please subscribe to the channel. Until next time, Nick fans, take care of yourself, your families, and each other. Peace and
The Knicks could be preparing to make a blockbuster trade. According to an NBA Insider, the Knicks are only looking at Giannis for any SUPERSTAR TRADES. And they are pulling out all the stops to get him, even attempting to steal a KEY Milwaukee Bucks assistant coach… Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!

Man it’s Chris Paul’s last year next season, let’s sign him and get him that ring.
Giannis is a type to mess up this Knicks team and make them trade Jb if they not winning chips lol.
I just want to see what a real Knick OFFENSE will look like. That was one of my issues with Thibs. He had a run "Brunson go" offense. We should see a good improvement on that end next season with our current players. If it's looking rough, then maybe when the next trade season opens up, we go after Giannis.
If you don't want Giannis on the Knicks your dumb and don't wanna win a championship plain and simple
I'm not giving them towns they need to take the dam ball hog brunson!
Giannis and brunson can't shoot it won't work
Knicks need to stop trying to win with brunson it's not happening he is not a winner
You're missing the point. It's not about why the Milwaukee Bucks, a small market team, would consider taking the risk of acquiring another versatile big to form a twin towers duo; it's about why they wouldn't seek a larger opportunity to compete with a fresh focus and leadership. Giannis Antetokounmpo has spent his entire 12-year NBA career with the Milwaukee Bucks, managing to secure just one NBA championship along the way. Naturally, he's going to feel disgruntled. He is, without a doubt, the best player in every category when it comes to being the top player in the league, especially considering that once LeBron James finally hangs up his sneakers, Giannis will have a greater chance of becoming the face of the NBA. However, if he stays with the Bucks for much longer, especially at this level, it could be perceived as detrimental to his career, leading to a 'what if' scenario akin to that of star player Damian Lillard, his former teammate! Additionally, the Milwaukee Bucks organization is recognized for structuring their big three positions around Power Forwards/Centers (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar/Giannis Antetokounmpo), Point Guards (Oscar Robertson/Sidney Moncrief/Sam Cassell/Brandon Jennings), and Small Forwards (Bob Dandridge/Kris Middleton*).

Giannis Antetokounmpo has spent 12 years with the Bucks, winning only one championship, which understandably leaves him feeling disgruntled. He is undoubtedly the best player in the league and, with LeBron James retiring, he could become the face of the NBA. However, if he remains with the Bucks too long, it might harm his career, leading to a 'what if' scenario like Damian Lillard's. The Bucks are known for building their big three around Power Forwards/Centers (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar/Giannis Antetokounmpo), Point Guards (Oscar Robertson/Sidney Moncrief/Sam Cassell/Brandon Jennings), and Small Forwards (Bob Dandridge/Kris Middleton).
He's just like the usual New York fans and critics, much like Spider-Man's J. Jonah Jameson, who eagerly listens to novices and gets overly excited rather than conducting his own research. Just admit your not fond his name Mike Brown but if he was caucasian like Larry Brown you'll be more inclined to like him….
What assets could we fork over to get GA?
Honestly, the only heavy minutes getter on our current team I'd be totally okay parting with is Bridges.
Seriously, what kind of package would this entail in order to work financially and to appease Milwaukee in order to do this?
Mike Brown said he’s not trading his wings plain and simple
5:24 Yeah great in the fact that Darvin Ham a’nit coming here, dude is a god awful coach, (head or assistant)
It's not the question about any one's talent…it's the cost.
If you were rebuilding…that's another scenario
BUT WE ARE NOT!
That's the back to back in season tournament champ right there 👀
I would rather have Ben Simmons over Darvin Ham
I don’t think we need Giannis either. Let’s go ahead with this season with all the additions we’ve made – the holes we filled.
I don’t think we need Giannis either. Let’s go ahead with this season with all the additions we’ve made – the holes we filled. Also, let’s sign Landry Shamit with the veterans minimum and let’s go forward.
I like the way the team is currently constructed.
I STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT THE KNICKS ARE STACKING BECAUSE THEY ARE WAITING TO SEE IF MIKAL INVISIBLE BRIDGES WILL STEP UP TO THE LEVEL. HE WILL NOT BE GETTING HIS EXTENSION. GIANNIS IS GIVING THE BUCKS A CHANCE TO BE IN STRONG POSITION BEFORE THE SECOND HALF OF THE SEASON. FEBRUARY TRADE IS GOING TO BE A BIG FACTOR IN THE NBA WORLD AND THE KNICKS 😊
It be great to have giannis to im more interested in have a good fundamental deep squad than a one man show that being said remember they always do that make a huge smoke screen and then nothing that you are waiting to happen happens.
He is not leaving the Bucks because if the Bucks fire Doc, Ham would be the automatic choice to take over. Why would he go to the Knicks, where he has little chance to take over and time soon? Maybe the Knicks should go get Giannis's brother.
A guy mentioned: Man it’s Chris Paul’s last year next season, let’s sign him and get him that ring. I responded: That's probably not going to happen. I like the idea of having stars, but it doesn't align with the team's current strategy! I'm not saying other teams haven't succeeded with this method, but the New York Knicks have a top 28-year-old Jalen 'Captain Clutch' Brunson, who ranks among the best 10 'pure' point guards in the league. They don't need to mentor him like he's a rookie, especially since he was underused with the Dallas Mavericks behind the well-known Luka Dončić. Chris Paul, similar to LeBron James, Kevin Love, and Al Horford, is a veteran starter, not a bench player, and CP3 only plays point guard, which could hinder Brunson's growth as the leader of this team. Sometimes, sports are about philosophies. So let's make it logical!
It's not quite that; it's simply you becoming accustomed to the media's critics and their deceptive strategies, which consistently try to generalize how fans view teams. You also observe how previous NBA trade deals were managed, but the main distinction now is that they are not regulated by the new CBA. The reality is, the New York Knicks, as a major market team, possess a considerable advantage, regardless of your personal opinions. The only exception is the small market Milwaukee Bucks, who can trade Giannis Antetokounmpo wherever they wish, much like how they handled the injured star player Damian Lillard. Furthermore, Giannis is eligible to sign a four-year, $293.4 million extension with either the Bucks or a new team in the 2026 offseason. The Knicks are poised to carry out a simple trade for him, no matter how people might want to categorize it as a blockbuster or a fleece.
Clearly, you overlooked what I stated previously. Take some time to research NBA star point guard Chris Paul, who is also 40 years old, just like your beloved LeBron James, and find out if he has ever been placed in bench or reserve roles. He isn't even doing that in San Antonio alongside another star, De'Aaron Fox, so go ahead and prove me wrong! What you fans and critics seem to miss is the underlying philosophies of star players and their teams. For instance, you observe someone like Luka Dončić in the smaller market of the Dallas Mavericks being utilized as a point guard with some success, and now you expect him to replicate that in a different team's system, but it's not that straightforward. Luka Dončić wasn't always a point guard for the Mavericks. Although he is currently recognized as a primary ball-handler and playmaker, akin to other star players like Harden, George, LeBron, Wade, and Kobe Bryant, he has occupied various positions throughout his career, including primary shooting guard and occasionally small forward. In his rookie year, he was mainly categorized as a small forward before making the shift to point guard.
Dude mentioned: "Cp3 would be backup pg. He wouldn't hinder Brunson at all. If anything Brunson will learn a lot from cp3. as far as being a 'true facilitator'." 😱😭🤣 I replied: It seems you missed my earlier point. I dont want giannis, nor kd, nor lebron.. i do want to cut ties with bridges and use that money towards someone who shows he is worthy of being a pro. If they let towns play his actual position power forward and put a center in the paint, that defends and hits the boards.. then you have brunson as a point guard and you fill in the rest. This is where they should focus on… filling in the tiny spots. (A bench, was our issue last season)… The bench is what you fix! Brunson/towns are superstars… We can make it work with them. Especially if they are healthy!

I will go all the way for Giannis only. LeBron had his chance to come to the Knicks twice. He picked the Heat and the Lakers. No thank you James
We are sick and tired of LeBron James antiques as Knicks Fans it's over Due.
LeBron James a selfish guy why he's signed 1 year $ 52 millions with the Lakers excepting team to trade for him. And probably bring his son on board. Where ever LeBron James goes he will want to control things.
If LeBron James wants to be traded he should never signed that $52 million for one year that is a turn off
FAKE NEWS AGAIN 🤪FAKE NEWS AGAIN 🤪 FAKE NEWS AGAIN 🤪 FAKE NEWS AGAIN 🤪 FAKE NEWS AGAIN 🤪 FAKE NEWS AGAIN 🤪 FAKE NEWS AGAIN 🤪 FAKE NEWS AGAIN 🤪.. WASTING YOUR TIME WITH GIANNIS VIDEOS AND THE FAKE VOICE 😂🤣
So when the Los Angeles Lakers hired Darvin Ham as their Head Coach was that the Giannis plan as well before Lebron screwed up his head coaching career? 😂
As a Knicks fan, I am satisfied that the NY Knicks are "Not" falling for those "fake trade" rumors created by LeBron James & Kevin Durant again like the past.
The NY Knicks are "stacked" now, they don't need any spoil NBA superstar clowns like LeBron or Durant on the Knicks and mess it up now!
🤡👎❌
Bucks get:
Anonnby
Bridges
Brunson
Clarkson
8-9 frp
2 frps
4 Srp
* Keep Katt fat Zesty a** 😂
Whatever whoever Bucks better snatch some teams important players.. own that teams future by any means.
Giannis for Towns would be a great move by the Knicks! Hopefully they get it done!
Wishful thinking that would not happen
I love it so much they need to get him
They are not getting Giannis!!! Milwaukee will want Brunson included in any trade offer!!
Leon couldn’t even get Donovan Mitchell and he has relationships with CAA!!
Milwaukee can trade Giannis wherever they want because he DOES NOT HAVE A NO TRADE CLAUSE !!!
This guy just likes to hear himself talk at this point
