Sacramento Kings Interested In Jonathan Kuminga

Sacramento Kings Interested In Jonathan Kuminga

Yo, what’s going on guys? And today, of course, I want to talk about Jonathan Kaminga. It’s being reported that the strongest suitors or I guess strongest party connection, I don’t even know how you want to phrase it, but the Sacramento Kings are the team that is most likely or most heavily connected in trade talks for Jonathan Kaminga. And the thing is is Kamingo wants $30 million a year. The Warriors offered him the qualifying offer, which is like just under $10 million. And the thing is is that I’ve said this before, if he were to get signed this off season, I personally think the all it’s going to be the full mid-level exception. That’s the most money he’ll get, which is like 14 million a year. What we’re seeing is what this year people were getting I think it’s Nikquil Alexander Walker got it like 626 64 million over a fouryear deal three-year deal would be 48 million or 50 million whatever it is broken down in an average annual value which I believe is like 14.1 now they’ve offered according to this report that let me pull up I believe it is Anthony Slater who put the report out and Anthony Slater has said that Darius Sarich and Devin Carter and I believe maybe a pick or draft compensation of some sort has been the offer that the Kings put on the table and obviously they have rebu or refused the trade offer that Sacramento has offered them which I mean let’s be honest if you’re the Warriors at that point. I get why you’re not you’re not moving on that because it’s not really something that’s going to suit you. Now, I think it’s going to be definitely interesting how this all plays out. I’m so sorry, guys. I literally got like an eyelash or something stuck in my eye. Legit was blinded for a second. But let me read you the report that we’ve seen speculate or swirl around Line and before we continue, I want to hear your thoughts. So yeah, Sacramento are the strongest pursuers of Jonathan Dominga. This is coming Anthony Slater. And that is basically saying, and it goes like this, guys. Really, I’ve been being attacked by an eyelash that’s under my eyelid. It’s extremely painful. Anthony Slater says no significant traction on Jonathan Kaminga front over the weekend according to the athletic sources. Now restricted free agency is obviously going to be one of those things that you can sit for a while but they’re saying that the the offer is a combination of like Darius Sarich Devin Carter and Draft Capital. Now whatever you think that may be that might be be the best offer. If Kamingo wants to get paid this off seasonason, that might be the best thing for him. And if he wants to not go to the Kings, maybe he just takes the qualifying offer and just stays. And this is seems to be a signing trade for the mid-level exception because you can only send half of the salary that you’re signing for. So Darius Hart’s Deon Carter is like half the mid-level exception in my opinion. I actually want to see the exact numbers of these contracts just because like this way it’s it makes sense. So, we know Al Horford is the main target for the Warriors now because originally I’d been saying if I were the Warriors, I would try to sign and trade Jonathan Kaminga to the Bulls, but you would have need him to get $30 million annually. And right now, the deal that seems to be basically on the table, and it’s seemingly the only deal that might be offered currently, is the the Sacramento Kings putting on the table the players that we had mentioned earlier in Darius Sarge and Devin Carter. It’s crazy to think about like de are is everyone out on Devin Carter? Kings fans, tell me. I thought he was just hurt, but as a pre-draft prospect, he was compared to Derrick White. Devin Carter and Darius Sarts together make 10.3 almost $10.4 million and that would mean 20.8 million a year for Jonathan Kaminga. And if it’s a signing trade, it has to be a three-year deal minimum. I think for max mid-level sections 14.1. So, I don’t know. And then like I just don’t think that’s a good fit whatsoever. Like I don’t like I don’t even think that’s one that would be good or I just don’t like that fit cuz think about it now. You have Keegan Murray and Jonathan Kaminga together. Zack Lee, Demard Rosen, Damont Sabonis, Malik Mon, Devin Shruder, Dennis Shruder. Like there’s a lot of ball stopping there. No offense. And I don’t know if that’s going to work out. And we know the heat. I think in the heat I just don’t I think it was a deal around I doubt it would be around Wiggins. So maybe a Himez and you sign and trade Alec Burks in that deal. But it’s not a great situation. suitors for Jonathan Kaminga are like outside of those two that we mentioned. I think Milwaukee was hinted at one, but it wasn’t a good like the Bulls were the one we talked about and I really think the Bulls unless you’re getting a Kobe White Iodum with somebody else or a Nicole Vuch doesn’t make sense to me. It doesn’t make sense if the Bulls are or not the Bulls if the Kings are doing this. The Kings would be doing this because they would just be trying to make a move. And I don’t know. I think I I don’t know what to expect from Scott Perry because like none of his moves were really truly his with the the Knicks. They were all Leon Roses and he was just Leon Rose’s puppet. He seems like a sensible guy. I just don’t know. if his approach is as pragmatic as he seems. So that’s my whole thing because Kaminga is not a great defender. Hope that he is going to hit and become an all-star and I’m not, this is not me like hating or saying anything, but I think Kaminga at his best is a six-man. So far, the best version of Jonathan Kaminga we saw was what a season and a half ago when before like injuries forced him into the starting lineup. He was one of the the three guys in the sixman of the year race. I think it was the year that Malik Monk and Nas Reed were toe-to-toe and then I think Nas Reed ended up winning that year. So, to me, I think it’s definitely interesting to see as to me, I think this could be a reach by the Kings. I mean, if the Warriors feel like they’re getting ripped off with the offer, I don’t know what they wanted. And I think that’s the weirdest thing about this is that they act like they’re so enthralled by him, but at the same time, they act like they hold this incredibly high asking price. It just feels like they’re holding him hostage. And at this point, I think it’d be better for both parties if they just moved on. But what do I know? I’m just a guy making YouTube videos. Hit that like and subscribe button if you made it to the end.

Restricted free agency for jonathan kuminga remains stalled with no significant traction over the weekend, as sources report an ice-cold market around the NBA. The sacramento kings have been the strongest pursuers, offering a package including devin carter, dario šarić, and two second-round picks, but the golden state warriors have resisted what they see as a buy-low attempt.

An eventual compromise and kuminga’s return to the warriors remain on the table, with talks of a sit-down in las vegas involving kuminga, turner, gm mike dunleavy, and coach steve kerr to explore a path forward if the situation remains unresolved.

Cyro Asseo breaks down the latest on kuminga’s restricted free agency and what this could mean for the warriors and interested teams.
