Do The Suns Have The Bleakest Future In The West?

Do The Suns Have The Bleakest Future In The West?

All right, the West. The number one is a little easier in the West. I would assume we have the same number one. A team owned by uh the one the only Matt Ishbia. I am going to ask you if this is the bleakest situation since the mid 2010s Brooklyn Nets after Prov’s like let’s do a 180. I know we don’t have any picks, but I don’t want to spend money anymore. Is this the worst situation since then? I don’t think it’s that bad. Is it? You still have Booker. All their picks are all their picks are gone or swapped until 2031. And that pick’s gone too. I think they have Booker lockdown. They’re gonna buy Bill out apparently in the next 24 hours for some crazy price. Jaylen Green 3 for 105. I don’t think either of us would want to pay that. Brooks for two years. Grayson Allen and Rose O’Neal in double figures for the next couple years. They’re going to be a lottery team without a pick and I don’t see any path forward. Booker’s better than anyone on Utah. Booker’s better than anybody on Portland. Booker’s better than anybody on New Orleans. The only argument you have here is is Booker’s talent level then surrounded by no options and it’s expensive.

  1. I don't think the Suns are in as bad of a position as last year cause they did draft and add pieces that don't suck. But Ishbia is a crazy man and its a matter of time till he ruins the little they have

  2. The Kings are in the bleakest position. At least the Suns can trade Booker for a haul. I don't think anyone would trade much for anything the Kings have. They have basically zero promising younger guys, and they insist on trading their draft picks to get guys like Kuminga

  3. A better Suns team with KD finished equal in record with Portland. Booker might be individually better but the Suns are not better or more promising than the Blazers.

  4. As a Kings fan, I truly don’t know what this organization is doing.

Get rid of Derozan, finalize the 3-way deal for Kuminga and maybe it’ll look better.
But a lineup of Schroder, Lavine, Derozan, Murray and Sabonis is not gonna win any games. Absolutely terrible

  5. Suns can trade Booker or Jalen for 1sts. How many depends on market. Brooks, Allen, Oneal may get you 2nds or swaps. They have assets.
The Kings are in a far worse position with untradeable contracts and players too good to be the worst team in the West. And hardly any 2nds for what it's worth.

  6. The problem is the idea of trading Booker for draft picks. Whatever team you trade him to is going to want to be in a winning position…….so you're only going to get late first round draft picks. Look at what happened when the Jazz traded Gobert and Mitchell.

  7. Portland sucks. Like, no owner. Not one player is memorable. They can't pay homeless to go to the game. Even if they offer free drugs to the homeless.😂😂😂😂

  8. As a lifelong Suns fan, I feel much better about our situation after a great draft, resulting from a decent haul for KD. Once Beal is bounced, this will probably be a hungry young team. Def not the worst situation out West.
