These NEW Details Change EVERYTHING for the Warriors…

Folks, Bradley Beal, I know some of you are stoked that maybe he’s a free agent, goes to the Warriors. Some of you are saying, “No, no, no. He’s past his prime. It’s not worth it.” Well, he can shoot. Defensively, not the best. Would he be an addition to this Warriors team? Please comment your thoughts. Yes or no? Arthur did a great job talking about the other day the interest the Warriors may have in Beal. Well, now it sounds like Bele may have interest in the Warriors because the Suns are going to wave him. How does this work? It’s a very complicated the way they have to wave him and other teams that may want him, the Bucks, the Lakers. Moneywise, how would it work? So, this video is less about why Beal’s a good fit for the Warriors. I’m going take you deeper down into the money that goes into this. I see comments saying, “Trade this guy for this guy. Hey, sign this guy because it works, right?” No, you have to use different types of like mid-level exception, taxpayer exception, waving people. So, we’re going to break down how Beal becomes a free agent by getting waved. It’s complicated. And then how the money would work per team. Randy Silver Wars Digest, Warriors News, trades, free agency, summer league, all of it. Nothing on Harford yet, Horford yet, excuse me. Nothing on Kaminga. Please subscribe. We keep you updated on everything you need to know. So, we’re going to break down this article. Great article by Fred Catz from The Athletic. It’s a payw wall article. So, you’re not seeing this anywhere else, folks. The goal is for the Beal. The goal is for the Suns to buy out Beal. Why would they want to do this? Two reasons. One, it gets them below the second apron, a dreaded payroll threshold where only the most expensive teams venture, but also gets them out of the luxury tax. One, if you’re above the second apron, I’m gonna use the Warriors for a second here. If you’re above the second apron, we are 36 million below it. This is not with Kaminga. Whatever happens there, what does that mean? It means that you can’t have flexibility in your free agency and roster construction. You’re in purgatory if you’re above the second apron. That is why the Celtics got rid of Drew Holiday Pzingis because if you’re not competing, it’s not worth it. Second, luxury tax just not paying a bunch of money on the taxes coming in. The B the sons can’t just weigh bill. They need help. Now, this is where it gets complicated because of a quirk. A quirk, folks. It’s like, yeah, just something happened to life. A quirk. No big deal. This is collectively bargain. Collectively bargain. A quirk. Beal has $110 million in two years remaining on his contract. 55 million per year for a backup guard right now. Wizards. You gave him too much money and they got out of it. They got lucky. Must give back at least 13.8 million for the Suns to be allowed to stretch him. If he did, Phoenix would then have a dead cat pit of 19.4 million on the books in every season through 2930 through the rest of this decade. So, let’s go through this again. For Beal to become a free agent, he has to give back $14 million. He would still make $96 million over two years. This is money given to him just like with Damen Lillard waved. He’s making $110 million whatever that number is over two years. So he can sign with whatever team he wants at the veterans minimum and he’s still getting $100 million. Beal give back 14 million. You can go to a team you want to be and sign at the veterans minimum at the basic and you’re still getting all that money for Phoenix. What does that mean for a dead cap hit? Let’s just say $20 million. If the salary cap is a hund00 million every year, again, it’s not. It goes up and it’s not hundred million, it’s much more. That means they they would only have 80 million to give out to their roster. It’s like in the NFL, if you’re not a big NFL fan, you always hear a dead cap hit if someone’s cut or waved. So this means for 25 26 all the way to 2930 $20 million of the salary that the Suns are able to give to their players is just on the books under Beal’s name and the Warrior I mean excuse me the Suns can’t do anything about it. The Warriors we don’t have any dead cap hits. Here’s our draft picks. We have some trade exceptions because of the Waters and Anderson trade. We have some cash that we could use, but we don’t have any dead cap hits, which is good. Meaning that all your salary cap can be going to the players currently on your team. So, Beal would getundred would get $96 million over two years, but it would cost the Suns $und00 million over the and change over the next five years. Beal turned 32 this month, averaged 17 points, three rebounds, four assists a game last year, 539 80 shooting splits. So, not terrible. The question is, can he find 14 million on the open market? Well, the teams interested in him and he could have interest in are the Clippers, Golden State, Lakers, and Bucks. Clippers this morning, whenever you’re watching this, um, it happened in the past. Did a big trade. Norman Palat, John Collins, Jazz to the Clippers. That’s a big gift for them at that power forward guard, you know, 3 and D type of player. Brook Lopez also coming in to the Heat. Why? I mean, excuse me, to the Clippers. Why would they do this trade? The deal opens up a starting spot at Beal’s position potentially, but because they use a 14.1 midlevel exception to sign free sender Brook Lopez. They can only offer be only what they have left of the mid-level exception, 5.3 million, which again is good money, especially when you’re making $96 million in two years because you’re getting waved by your former team. So, if he wants to go to LA and play for the Clippers, he can get 5.3 million at the max there. They have the spot. Lakers, what do they have? The byian annual exception worth 5.1 million in starting salary. So basically, you want to go play for LA Lakers, LA Clippers. You want to go play at I say Staple Center at Crypto.com Arena or Steve Bombers’s new arena state-ofthe-art. What team do you think’s better? Clippers really had a good shot last year. Lakers, are they a win now with LeBron? Are they a planning for the future with Luca? Warriors, we’re in purgatory and restricted free agency. We’ve done nothing as of this video. We’re waiting for the signed trade with Kaminga, the free agency with Kaminga to take the qualifying offer or we give them a a uh we give him a deal. If the deal is made for Kaminga that doesn’t bring back any money to the Warriors, so a sign and trade, then they would have access to the 14.1 million mid-level exception. The question is, is Beal worth $14 million? Personally, I say the answer is no. It allowing them to offer be more money than the Clippers, Lakers, or Bucks. But before offering any portion of their mid-level exception, the Warriors must find a solution for Kaminga, a resolution for Kaminga. And it’s dragging on again. Apparently, they’re going to meet in Vegas. Meet in Vegas. So, the question is, does it make sense to just say, “Hey, Kaminga, bye. Get be a win now player. Will he stay healthy? Will he make this team better?” For the Suns, they could find other ways to dip below their second apron payroll threshold set at 27 million above about 20 million above the luxury tax. They could negotiate a buy with Beal, wave him, choose not to stretch his money and then trade say Royce from Neil another team without taking money back. So it seems like most likely they will wave Beal and say, “Hey, thank you so much. Stretch the money out.” Beal Durant Booker supposed to be big three turned out to be a big flop. Suns went 36 to 46 falling short of the playing tournament. Durant is now in Houston. Beal looks like the centerpiece of the Suns again. And could the Beal be in Golden State right now? This is what we’ve done in free agency. A big nothing nothing. And a lot of players are gone. So folks, again, I’m not saying is Beal a good fit for this team? He can shoot, but defensively he’s a lack. We’re talking about how does something happen. My goal here beyond just the videos is to educate you on scenarios to make you a smarter, educated fan, not just Warriors, NBA basketball. So, comment your thoughts. Do you think be’s good or bad? Do you like this type of video? And I’ll see you on the next one.

The Suns are looking to waive Bradley Beal instead of trading him. This means he could be cheap on the open market. Randy Silver on Warriors Digest breaks down the unique way the Suns would do this and how the money works for the Warriors.

  1. bradley beal is 100% a upgrade for our team. I never even really liked the guy but hes clearly better than every one of our bench players other than kuminga.

  2. Beale???? 💯 💯 at the right price!!! I mean how many times did yhe coach say we needed another person to handle the ball!!!!! 💯 lets go!!!! How many times has this organization turned a cateer around???

  3. Bradley was cold on the wizards until injury's came he wasn't the same he was dropping 31 points every night and 50 points

  4. Thanks for the explanation. The business aspects of the NBA are interesting but not necessarily easy to grasp. Good stuff 👍

  5. 😂 You guys are grasping at straws right now! I sense desperation. Another channel was saying Ben Simmons would be a great fit on this squad 😂😂😂😂😂

  6. I rather have Beal next to curry then Podz the warriors are disrespecting curry buy play a wannabe Klay next to curry

  7. Great video. The education I get allows me to disregard a lot of clickbait & rumor barking throughout trade and free agency seasons.

  8. Last dance! Last Dance! Last Dance! Everybody is invited! Dame! Beal!
Let’s go! Anybody else wanna go out with a bang?

  9. Beal is not only too expensive. Play the rookie guards and they will produce the same numbers. Implication: that potential move is stupid.

  10. Too pricey! Might as well keep JK then. I thought we had to be careful about the tax aprons but this would take us over the stratosphere!

  11. Did you watch the playoffs? Question, How many teams of bunch of old broken down guys did you see going deep? just adding another old guy is not what the warriors need. The only guy they have that fits the current model is jonathan kuminga. Resign him and coach him to play within the system. That's the answer. It's not old al horford or broken down.Dame lillard, who won't even play this season anyway, or old lebron james. JK is the answer

  12. Post, Horford, Green, Butler & Steph…Beal can lead the bench & could get in the starting line-up if they go smaller w/ Horford @ the 5 spot.
