Michael Jordan wasn’t interested in Chicago Bulls front office job!

Here’s why Michael Jordan had no interest in joining the Chicago Bulls franchise after leading it to six NBA championships as a player. Well, after sealing the Bulls sixth title in 1998, Michael Jordan walked off and never looked back. Fans expected him to join the front office, but MJ made it clear if the Bulls were going to survive post Jordan, they had to do it without him. He didn’t want to blur eras or cling to the past, though always willing to offer support if asked. Jordan believed the franchise needed to forge its own identity. Should MJ have helped guide Chicago into a new era, or was staying away the best thing he could have done? Share your thoughts.

  1. That's not the narrative discussed or attributes to Jordan previously. We've also heard he tried to become a minority owner, but Reinsdorf didn't want to bring him into owner. Hence why he went to the Wizards to become a minority owner.
