the salary cap is going to continue to go up. So, his new contract extension is is going to look better and better as the years go along. It’s the same with Beal’s contract, especially if you can get him to agree to like an $80 million buyout. So, it’s only 16 mil a year. By the time you’re in year three, four of that deal, it’s it’s not a ton of money. It is still a hamper. It’s something that holds you back a little bit and contributes to, you know, if you’re trying to duct a luxury tax at some point to avoid being a repeater team, that’s an issue. But, I don’t know. I I’m torn between like the long-term effects that are significant. They are something that need to be considered and the fact that if you just keep him for the next two years, you’re basically waving goodbye to these next two years being a move in the right direction for Booker. And by that point, he’ll be 30. So, I I don’t know. It’s a tough It’s a tough one to navigate, honestly.

If we can’t trade him while maintaining most of our good assets I say just keep him and don’t play him. 80 million on the buy out still feels to much. Or maybe buy him out after next season. See if you can get it lower and spread over 2-3 years
