Tony, you did text me after the Cam Whitmore trade. I don’t like many of the moves that the Wizards have made over the past few years, and it’s probably our biggest continual argument is how that organization is run. However, this move was fantastic. Cam Whitmore, 20 years old, going to be 21 next year. Got him for a bag of potato chips and finally he has the reinss off on this Wizards team to really just take it and run. Let’s see what you can do, kid. Fantastic no risk move. Excellent move by the Wizards. My big thing is like the Wizards would not tell you that they’ve made like amazing home run moves the last couple years because they haven’t been available to make like they just when you have to dig out of the Grand Canyon by sending Bradley Beal to the Grand Canyon, they haven’t had a lottery luck. The Whitmore thing is interesting because it continues in offseason where they use the the top pick on Trey Johnson and then they have Whitmore. Two guys that aren’t known for their defensive prowess. This is a team that wants to have that identity, but they also need someone who can score.
