Utah Jazz Trade John Collins To Los Angeles Clippers In Three-Team Deal
The Utah Jazz made another trade on Monday as their youth movement continues to take shape. John Collins is the latest Jazz veteran to be moved. He was sent in a three team deal that also includes the LA Clippers and the Miami Heat. In the deal, the Jazz send John Collins to the Clippers. The Heat get Norman Powell from the Clippers as well. The Jazz received former all-star Kevin Love, veteran Kyle Anderson from the Heat, and a Clippers second round pick in 2027. No word on whether Love and Anderson will remain on the Jazz roster or get bought out. The Jazz also get a 26.6 million trade exception. Collins played in 108 games and made 97 starts for the Jazz, averaging 16 and a half points, 8.4 four rebounds and one and a half assists over two seasons.
The Jazz are sending John Collins to the Los Angeles Clippers in a three-team trade that will land Kevin Love, Kyle Anderson, and a second-round pick in Utah.
ESPN’s Shams Charania was the first to report the trade on social media.
