The Cleveland Cavaliers Are The FAVORITES To Sign Kevin Love… 🚨NBA News (Free Agency)

So, we could potentially see a reunion that could also help fill a major need in this Cavs roster. Kevin Love was recently traded from the Miami Heat to the Utah Jazz, and it’s obvious he’s not going to play there. And he even joked about it on social media, saying it’s crazy to be a part of a math problem. But besides that, the Cavs actually are the team with the highest odds to grab him as of right now. And even though he is old and irrelevant, I think his experience and also size and skill set could be very valuable. The Cavs have had a backup big problem for years now. I was happy about the Larry Nance signing, but if Kobe Alman decided to sign Love to a vet minimum, then I would be really happy and secure about the depth in terms of just bigs heading into 2026. Allen Moy, Love, and Nance would be just perfect. And then you got Dean Wade in there as well. And even though Love is older, he could still space the floor. He’s been an outside shooter his entire career. And even though he is not a lead anymore, he doesn’t move around the same from behind the arc. That skill set doesn’t just completely leave you. But really, more than anything, the playoff experience is what I would want Kevin Love to be signed for. I know he kind of created beef with some of the upper management with the way he went out sad in the beginning phases of the rebuild, but I think that was mainly just from a JB Bigger staff problem, but then we learned about all the mental health stuff and really a lot of the older Cavs vets were crashing out. J.R. Smith was throwing soup at coaches. It was just a bad environment. But when the Cavs get to the playoffs, his leadership would be so valuable. He may not himself still have it in him to get scrappy and physical. But he could be another voice in the huddle that Jared Allen needs to hear. I mean, it’s embarrassing how this team has just allowed themselves to get pushed around in the playoffs over the last three years. And we also know that Love has chemistry already with Darius Garland and a few other guys. But I mean, I know this is just dreaming, but imagine Kevin Love comes back and then next off seasonason LeBron comes back and then we would have Nance Love, LeBron, maybe even Tristan Thompson in that last spot. That would be absolutely hilarious and would not feel real. That would be like the old gen and the new gen on the same team, but I’m sure they could manage to get a championship out of it. But that’s besides the point. This video is only about Kevin Love and what a potential reunion could mean and even look like or if I even think he should come back because that’s up for debate as well. And then I also want to talk about other Cavs news going on because the first Summer League game is coming up fairly shortly here and we will get to take our first look at Tyrese’s Proctor and a few other young guys which should be exciting. And then there is so much more I want to talk about and cover as well. But real quick before I do continue on, I would really appreciate it if you would drop a like and subscribe. It only takes 5 seconds. Plus, you can always change your mind. We are on the road to 60,000 subscribers, and with your support, I believe that we can get there super fast. All right, so the Cavs do have one final roster spot available. Well, I guess technically two, but not really. And the question is, is Kevin Love worth it? Is he how Kobe Almond in the front office wants to round out this roster. We know Love is in shape even for his age because the Heat have crazy running and body fat tests and a bunch of random weird things. And Love was also spotted working out with LeBron the other day. There were a couple videos that came out of it. Let’s take a look at some of Kevin Love’s recent stats to kind of compare his production to some other players that might be available for that final spot. Obviously, the familiarity and the experience gives him a big edge along with him being friends with some of the team. He will be like a player coach. Last year, his stats were brutal. I’ll admit that. But he dealt with the death of his father. There was a lot going on in his life. But even still, in all three seasons in Miami, he shot the three ball at about 35%. Obviously, that’s not very impressive, but it is kind of considering how hard it is to be consistent when you don’t play as much as you’re accustomed to. Evan Mobley shot the three ball at about 37% which is slightly better, but obviously he is right at the prime of his career. Kevin Love peaked at 41 12% in 2018, but really throughout his career, he has been a consistent 36 to 37% shooter from behind the arc. And that was before the game officially evolved to this new era of three-point shooting where it’s all people do. But we all know his game goes much beyond just the shooting. It’s the post play, the post fades, the rebounding. The defense is even pretty solid overall. The highlight of his entire career was a defensive play on Curry in the finals. And I know I’m kind of living in the past because those days are long gone. But I still think Love could give the Cavs a solid 10 to 12 minutes a night in the regular season and then just be a good and muchneeded mentor for the playoffs. This would be a why not move in my eyes. But I’m curious to hear what you guys think in the comments below because I guess one thing I did not really consider is that it kind of comes down to Love or Thompson because you can’t keep both. I think Love provides more skills that could potentially get him on the floor, but Tristan already was on the team last year and they had a 65 win season. So, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. I guess you go with the continuity, but I’m so 50/50 because I could see this decision going both ways. I think there’s pros and cons. Thompson has no value whatsoever as a player on the court except for the locker room presence. There is also a chance that Kevin Love could sign with the Lakers to play with LeBron again to finish off his career. I could see that scenario happening. He wouldn’t really be expected to do much over there. And Kevin Love just seems like such an LA type of guy. And I don’t mean that in a negative way at all because I know that could be seen as like a negative connotation. I could totally see Kevin Love as a Laker. Honestly, I think they should be the team favorite to get him, not the Cavs. Even the Knicks, I think, could be above the Cavs right now because of their Cap situation. And if that happened though, the Lakers would officially be a retirement home. You would have LeBron, Kevin Love, DeAndre Aiden, who somehow just keeps getting chance after chance. He could be a big addition to though just because of fit. You got Alex Len, just a ton of older guys that are trying to give whatever is left in the tank before they call it quits. Yeah, the Lakers seems like a fit for K Love, but I’m not ruling out Cleveland at all because he does want to play with a contender. He’s not going to play with Utah. And in my humble opinion, especially now with all the injuries in the East, the Cavs are a real contender and the Lakers are not even close to one. It is kind of a funny time to be a Cavs fan though because we have these rumors that are happening every day. I mean, LeBron James pulled up to the Cavs practice facility. I know he is LeBron and he could do whatever he wants and any NBA player is allowed to go anywhere in the offseason. I think that’s a rule within the NBA, but it still is funny to just see him chilling in Cleveland and Akran. When Bronnie is out west training for summer league, it feels like he’s hinting that something is coming. And then we have this Kevin Love stuff. I would love to see the OG squad come back home as long as the core four stays intact. At that point, you might as well hit up JR, get him back from the golf course. Maybe hit up Delhi and just bring everyone back to add to the core four. Nah, I’m just kidding. I can’t go there. This is just the 13-year-old kid side of me coming out. But yeah, it’s going to be real interesting to see how everything plays out over the next year or so. LeBron really could come back home on a veteran minimum deal next off season. Kevin Love could end up in the land before he retires. Tristan Thompson should just apply to join the coaching staff to free up the Kevin Love spot. I have no idea, but I could talk about these fake scenarios all day long. It’s what I love doing. Anyways, moving on to real news and things that will actually be going on. The first summer league game will be on the 10th against the Pacers. That game will be aired on NBA TV. in and the current summer league roster. I’m just going to list the notable players is Craig Porter Jr., Tyresese Proctor, Naqucoin Tomlin, Jaylen Tyson, my boy Tristan and Runa, funny enough, will be on the summer league team. He played at Cleveland State, which was my college before I dropped out. I always saw him around at the dining hall and stuff. So, kind of cool to see him back in the land for a bit. Hopefully, he does well. Wishing the best for him, but I’m really gonna be paying attention to Proctor because he’s a sniper and I think he has a skill the Cass could really use down the road if he develops into a rotational piece. I know nobody watches summer league and it’s boring, but honestly, baseball to me is dead right now with the guards tanking and selling at the deadline. I know they just beat the Astros twice in a row. There’s no football yet outside of training camp that will start in late July. I’m probably going to somehow end up watching these games. And if any of you guys are also nerds out there like me, feel free to DM me on Instagram and I’ll do my best to go back and forth because I love to talk hoops. But yeah, that’s really all I got to say for this video. Thank you all so so much if you made it to this point. And if you enjoyed and haven’t yet, please be sure to drop a like and subscribe because your support truly does mean the world. And also let me know what you would like to see next. And until then, I will see you all
