Ngl the way Lakers Summer league players play is disgusting. The ball does not move properly, especially on fast breaks and they wonder they secure a contract. Giving up open shots to go up on 3 defenders just to get stats does not impress coaches or fans.

So how come Bazley didn't materialize in the NBA after a few decent seasons early on? His FG percentage was low but decent rebounds. Did he work on shooting or improvement since then? There are a couple of ways into the NBA, shooting, defense, hustle, rebounding, or IQ.

Just based on the highlights, this Lakers squad showed some good offensive abilities but their defense was abysmal. They couldn't block out a 5 year old. Not the way to win a roster spot. Should have stayed in school and collected that NIL money.
