Bucks rumored to sign BRADLEY BEAL AND CHRIS PAUL

Bucks rumored to sign BRADLEY BEAL AND CHRIS PAUL

All right. So, the Bucks have been linked to Chris Paul and Bradley Beal. And I’m going to do talk about both in one video since I’m not home where I have my green screen and everything. We’re going to condense the videos a little bit. And so, my thoughts on both. I’ll say start off with both that there’s reasons why I’m a little hesitant that the Bucks could lure them in. Um, and how about let’s start with Bradley Beal. With Bradley Beiel, there’s the worry that a he’s still yet to be bought out. So, the rumor is he could be bought out and then he’ll be a free agent similar to Dame. The Suns may take a look at what the Bucks did with uh Damen Lillard and say we’re going to do that with Bradley Beal. But my concern about the Suns doing that is most of free agency’s already done. And so for the Bucks, they did it knowing, okay, um uh we want we know we could get Miles Turner, which is probably the most soughtafter free agent. And so we’re going to wave and stretch um Damen Lillard so that we could go get Miles Turner. For the Suns, I’m not sure what the immediate impact of it would be. Maybe they have something a card up their sleeve or they would say if we do this, we could actually go get Kaminga, something nobody’s talking about that’s still happening. But you would feel like if it was going to happen, it already would have. But it’s being reported that it may happen and there are teams talking to him. So there’s a possibility. My other worry about the Bucks being able to get Bradley Beal is there’s a video I believe if you go through my shorts you’ll find it um of uh Bradley Beal a couple years ago in a podcast talking about how the Bucks wanted to trade for him but him with his no trade clause he rejected it because it was right after the Bucks won a championship and John Horst offered Chris Middleton for Bradley Beiel and he said I don’t want to go to an organization that’s that disloyal why would I want to go there if Chris Middleton just won you a championship and you’re trading him that was what he said on the podcast And if he actually was a free agent and could choose anywhere he wanted to go, if that was something that mattered to him then, and I don’t feel like the Bucks did Damen Lillard dirty, they gave him all his money. Um, he he gets all of his money. He can now go wherever he wants. They didn’t like trade him to the Hornets or something. I feel like Dame Lord wasn’t done dirty at all, but that’s a narrative that’s somewhat out there. And um so yeah, with Chris Milton getting traded for Kyle Kosma as well, that might be a situation where he’s like playing in Milwaukee, a lot of guys, you know, let’s be real, that’s not their super ideal situation. Um as we saw with Damen Lillard and uh an organization that’s a little shaky. You know, the rumors are out there that Jiannis still could get traded even though I think most Bucks fans don’t think that’s going to happen. That’s a thought that’s out there. I’m a little hesitant that the Bucks could get Bradley Beal, but now if they could get him, I think it would be amazing. The dialogue around him is terrible right now. Rightfully so for the most part. Um his effort was diabolical last year. Um the fit was terrible. But with all that being said, he still scored 17, three and a half, three and a half um fairly efficiently still. um as the third guy behind Devin Booker and Kevin Durant. It was just a team that desperately needed defense and a guy that is just a bucket getter. But if you could get him on a cheap deal, even if his points didn’t go up after being away from Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal and being like the second option, his points would go up. But even if it was the same numbers, the defense wouldn’t be as super necessary. when you have Giannis on Tensacmpo and Miles Turner behind you, you could appreciate the 17 three and a half and three and a half a lot more when you have when you’re the defensive liability isn’t there as much. And again, this is a guy that’s only a few years removed from um being the leading scoreer in the NBA. It wasn’t that long. I think that was 2021 or I think it was 21, might have been 2022, but it was like three four years ago tops. And it’s not like there’s been some huge drop off. It’s just been different situations. And um this is why I was telling Bucks fans at the deadline when there was the Bradley Beal rumors that came out in the trade for Chris Middleton and Zack Lavine. Everybody was like, “Yeah, Zack Lavine. No, Bradley Beal.” And I’m like, “Bradley Beal is better than Zack Lavine. What are you guys talking about?” Like, he’s a better player than Zack Lavine, who every Bucks fan wanted. I know the dialogue out there is whatever, but Bradley Beal has shown that he could be a number two guy on a very good team that wins a playoff round um in his career. and uh he’s shown that he could be the leading scoreer in the NBA. Zack Lavine hasn’t shown that he could be a player on a playoff team. And then the people at the Bucks fans at the time were making excuses like, “Well, look at the teams around him.” Yeah, look at the teams around him. As soon as he got traded from the Bulls, the Bulls got way uh way better. Soon as he went to the Kings, the Kings got way worse. And so my point is all of you were good with getting Zack Lavine in a trade that would have given up a pick. And Bobby and Chris Middleton, you all thought Zack Lavine was good. Um news flash, Bradley Beal’s better than Zack Lavine. So, if you could get him in free agency, uh, that would be a great pickup. And, uh, the other one is Chris Paul. And I get it. If any of you were just like emotionally, you know, I hate this dude. We played him in the finals. He’s a little dirty. Um, don’t like the style of him. I’m with you there. But if you could get him and Bradley Beal, that’s where I’m gonna have to make my apology video on waving Damen Lillard because then I start to feel like, okay, we are real certified, bonafide contenders if we had a team of Chris Paul, Bradley Beal, um AJ/Gary, Giannis, and Miles Turner. Absolutely. That’s amazing. And so I think Chris Paul, you know, there’s frightful criticisms of him in the big moments doing dumb stuff. Um, but he’s not like James Harden like every big game of his career. He’s just a completely different person. That’s not the case. There’s Chris Paul good moments in his career, too. It’s just a lot of the biggest moments he’s done some bad some dumb stuff like the turnover against the Bucks. Um, so yeah, I would say even at 40 years old, if you can get Chris Paul in free agency, that’s good. That’s a good thing. But the concern for me is uh Doc Rivers and him did not get along. That was a big thing that was out there after that Clippers thing fell apart. um Chris Paulo and Doc Rivers. It was pretty toxic over there. So, I’d be a little surprised if he wanted to come to Milwaukee, but I’d be happy about it. I’d honestly be that’s almost even more reason I want Chris Paul, a guy that isn’t necessarily perfectly on board with Doc Rivers. Just have a voice in the organization that’s like, “Yeah, this guy is not a good coach.” You know, maybe makes it a little bit more likely that maybe Doc Rivers could get fired at some point. So, bring Chris Paul, even if it’s just to get Doc Rivers fired. And um yeah, at this point of his career, probably not a defender, still not a great three-point shooter, but uh definitely would help Giannis, definitely help the offense run. Um every team gets better when he’s on there, and especially if you could bring in another scorer like Bradley Beiel, oh my goodness, it would be phenomenal. So, at the end of the day, I love getting either of these guys, both of them. If we got him, it would be through free agency. Um and I think it would be better to get those two than like bring back Ryan Rollins, as much as I wanted to bring back Ryan Rollins. If you get get a guy like Bradley Beal instead for me that’s better. Um and that makes you feel like okay now we actually have a real chance and now we’ll have guys that are a little bit more expendable where we’re able to make some more trades where all of a sudden if you have Bradley Beal if there’s a team willing to give up a good amount for Gary Trent Jr. now he’s a little bit tradable and um other pieces like that. I don’t really ever want to give up AJ Green, but like it makes it so if you have to give those guys up to like say get off Kyle Koosma’s contract, you could do it a little bit more so if you had a guy like Bradley Beal ahead of him. And uh so yeah, hopefully the Bucks are at least able to make one out of those two happen. Personally, I would love Bradley Beal even more than Chris Paul, but Chris Paul fitwise for the Bucks, I could see why that would be even more needed. Whereas, you know, Kevin Porter Jr. Is he a true point guard where you want him running the offense for 30 35 minutes a game? Maybe not. Whereas the two guard position, the Bucks with AJ Green and Gary Tren Jr. aren’t in his dire need. But either way, I think Gary at this point of his career, Bradley Beal is still a higher level player and that’s who I would really want, but I’d be happy with both. And yeah, hopefully the Bucks can get him. There’s uh the the roster spot open from Chris Livingston getting waved. Didn’t drop a video on that, but um yeah, I was never a Chris Livingston guy. I’ll briefly talk about that. Yeah, Chris Livingston to me, he was a guy that last summer league when I was streaming Bucks games. That was all that chat was talking about. Chris Livingston. Chris Livingston. Like, guys, yeah, he’s bigger than these guys out here in summer league, but he’s not. He doesn’t. I didn’t think he ever had NBA talent. Never liked that draft pick. It was a second round, so I was never going to freak out about it. But to me, the number one guy that you could pretty much bet your money on being a bust is the guy that was super talented coming out of high school and then uh falls in the draft but and gets drafted based off like what they were in high school. Those guys just never work out. whether it’s Patrick Baldwin, whether it’s Cliff Alexander, whether it’s Harry Giles, um there’s a few more examples of it where um Cam Reddish, guys that were not good in college, but they were really good in high school, so they kind of get drafted based off that. And it’s like, if anything, the best guy is going to be the guys that come out of nowhere in college, because the guys that were highly taught in high school, but failed in college, that shows you a little bit more that they’re probably not going to project to go anywhere. They’re going the wrong direction. Because if you were a top guy coming out of high school, the college you go to is gonna do everything they can to make you that star. And if you can’t handle it, and you can’t become anything close to that star, then you’re probably going the wrong direction as a basketball player and you probably peaked in high school. And sadly, I think that was the case with Chris Livingston, although I could be wrong. Maybe there’s something in there for him as a defensive role player in the NBA. Hopefully he makes it work somewhere else, but um I never really had super high hopes for him. But yeah, um, waving him clears the roster spot and hopefully the Bucks can make something nice happen with it. Let me know what you all think. 1. Chris Paul I think, Becasue he said he wanted a starting spot and we are the only team in the sweepstakes that could give him a starting spot

  2. Chris Paul has been named to the NBA All-Defensive Team nine times. Of course not in recent years but he probably knows how to defend a little more than dame even at age 40

  3. If they could some how swap kuz for beal however thats possible and sign Malcom Brogden then that would be legit

  4. IMO we have one last ditch effort to keep Giannis and possibly even win it all and then Giannis will be gone and the Bucks will be in a ten year tank and rebuild.

Either way, after 1 or especially 2 more years Giannis's limbs will be starting to break down. With his style once he starts to go, it will be quick so trade him (sign and trade) if this season doesnt work out.

  5. Nah man idgaf. There is zero chance you can convince me that Bradley Beal is better than Zach Lavine. "Not like there was a huge drop off" bro he dropped off nearly 10ppg??? C'mon bro Beal had TWO SEASONS at 30ppg. He has barely sniffed 25ppg since 2021. You are TRIPPING bro. Beal is a decent pickup, but not if it means we're giving up AJ or Gary.

  6. i want brogdon.
i don’t WANT CP3 but he would be a good fit i suppose.
    need rollins i feel.
so give me a duo of:
    brogdon/beal
    beal/cp
    rollins/brogdon

  7. Sorry but that title made me laugh real hard. I know the Bucks are making dumb moves, but this would be next level.

  8. CP3 is 40, c'mon. Beal packed it in last yr, was a very low effort guy and one of the greatest underachieving teams of All Time. Bucks need to get younger, and they already have what they need in house. The last full yr Porter Jr played in the NBA, he averaged 19.2 pts, and 5.7 asts for HOU. You could see the rust coming off last year. Next yr he'll be much better. 23 y.o. Rollins – who we NEED to sign – is only 23. Terrific player in college, but got drafted by the Dubs and was stuck behind Steph & Klay. Kid has serious game. Only gonna get better with playing time. Same with 26 y.o. Trent, and 25 y.o. A.J. Green. Yeah, a veteran add in the 28-32 y.o. range that fits our team makes sense, as long as he's not "Gary Harris" or "V. Misic", two absolutely God-awful signings. Horst needs his brain examined. We've got a good young core a G that's already good, and gonna get better, and should have the chance to develop together with 30 y.o. Giannis, 29 y.o. Turner, and even 26 y.o. Sims.

  9. If you sign, Bradley Bill. You would be back in the exact same boat you were in before you stretched out your previous point guard. I’d be stupid and make no sense. Just signed CP three. He played for the Spurs last year for $9 million.

  10. Kuzma is a better player than Beal. Beal never plays. You'd take on a lot of cap for no results. Beal crippled the Suns and now you wanna cripple the Bucks? Dumb take.
