And I’m I’m hyped. I’m I’m ready. I’m ready to go to summer league recording this before I head out to Las Vegas and do that. And I’m going to try to tell you something about every single one of the guys on the summer league roster so that by the end of this episode, you’ll know this Mav Summer League roster and at least know something about each of these guys. There’s 16 guys on the roster. And the first thing that really stood out to me is just how big everybody is. It’s like there’s 11 guys that are between 66 69 on this team. It’s like all big wings basically on this Mavs team. But let’s start. I’m just going to go straight down the line. I’m going to go through the guys that I think are most notable. And then as we go through, we’ll just go through every single player on this roster so that you know something about each of them. Starting with Cooper Flag. He’s a 69 player from Duke. He was the number one pick in the NBA draft. He is just bringing the hype with him everywhere he goes. There was a video the D’Angelo Russell’s team made about his journey to come to the Mavericks. I think I’m going to do an extra video on that one because there’s a special there’s a special uh guest in the in the video. There’s a special appearance in that video and so I want to talk about that. But D’Angel Russell played the Cooper Flag draft video in his video about signing with the Mavericks. You hear guys in summer league, we talked to multiple guys uh at media availability and they all mentioned Cooper Flag. Some of them unprompted, some of them asked about him and just raved about his work ethic, the way that he is a hustle guy, an energy guy, the way that he goes out there and his versatility, the way he can just do everything. Like everybody came away impressed with Cooper Flag. He’s the youngest player on the Mavs summer league roster by two and a half years. Melvin Ajinsa, who the Mavs drafted in the second round last year, they stashed away. He played in the Euro League this year and played for Bayern Munich and uh you know had a had an okay year there. He talked today he’s he’s two and a half years younger or older than Cooper Flag. He talked today about how he’s not fully confident that he is an NBA player right now at least in the fact that he feels like he has more to work on. And like he was like I I still got I still got skills still got things to work on which is like to each their own to everybody has their own everybody has their own path. But for the contrast between him being two and a half years older and then Cooper Flag getting all this ray just just to me highlights and and Ajinsa is the youngest player on the summer league team outside of Cooper Flag by like a year or something. And so the youngest player on the summer league team, you would think would be this development guy that’s going to have to have all this work. And we’ll talk about, you know, Ajinsa and all that, but the contrast between that and Cooper Flag and what he is bringing, the Mav Social Team posted like a little hype video about him and just you see the moves, you see his shooting, you see him working on I think our friend Joey Mreda posted a video of him doing like an working on a a clear out ISO three. They’re going to put the ball in his hands. They’re going to put the ball in his hands and we’re going to see what this guy can do. The hype around the game, the very first game that the Mavericks are going to play against the Lakers is just out of this world. I’ve been at summer league. This is going to be my fourth time. Every time the Lakers play, because Las Vegas, if you’re not from here, if you’re, you know, not near, is threehour drive away from Las Vegas. So, it it’s an easy one. It’s like going to to OKC for for Mavs fans. It’s an easy drive. It’s always full of Lakers fans. I went the year Russell hit the gamewinning shot. I was there the Lonzo Ball year. They are just raid and it is so fun. Especially since they probably get priced out of Lakers games and you get to go to summer league and you get to see a whole bunch of games and it’s pretty awesome. And so the hype with the Lakers game plus adding Cooper Cooper Flag to it. Cooper Flag brings his own hype with him. Like that is just it’s going to be a massive game. It’s going to be a huge stage for for what summer league is is considered a huge stage and it’s mostly I think because of Cooper Flag. The Lakers are going to be part of it, but mostly because of Cooper Flag and what he brings and what he does and he’s living up to it by every stretch. Like at every level, he’s he’s living up to it from every person we’ve talked to, every person I’ve heard from, every person that every player teammate has had nothing bad to say. They’re not going to say anything bad about him obviously, but has raved like gone out of their way to rave about him and what he’s done. And I think the thing to know about Cooper Flag is we’re going to watch them put the ball in his hands, see what he can do on this next level. It’s like kind of a, you know, a half step up from college between college and the NBA is like summer league. I think G-League is probably maybe a little bit above that because it’s more organized than this. The the other thing about summer league that I want everyone to understand and to know, uh Josh Progamemer, who’s the assistant coach on the Mavericks and is the summer league coach, emphasized again about uh about how quick this whole process is for them, for the team, for the players and all that. Someone asked him in the media availability if they’ve looked at the Lakers matchup and what how this team matches up with that Lakers team and he said no, which is like not anything a coach ever tells you in the NBA. They’re always like, “Yeah, we got guys working on it.” He was like, “No, like we’re only focused on us. They’ve really only been together three days.” Like, that’s it. That’s it. It’s three days and then they they they’re flying out tonight and then they play tomorrow on Thursday. Listen to this. It’s on Thursday. It’s today. That’s it. Like it is a quick process. So, like he said in practice yesterday, he said, “This whole process is not about let’s organize the best team possible. Let’s have the best sets. let’s run the best defensive strategy and schemes and all that. This is about players, go out there and show us what you can do. And that’s what they’re going to do with Cooper Flag is go out there and show us what you can do. And they specifically want him to be a ball handler, want him to make plays. And I think he’s got a lot of good finishers on this team to be able to do that. They kind of don’t have enough playmakers. It’s kind of just Cooper Flag and Ryan Nhard. Uh, and I guess you know, uh, there’s there’s two others that I’ll mention, but that like as far as guys that have had the ball in their hands a lot in their career, it’s really just at a high level, it’s just those two guys really. And so, they’re going to ask a lot out of him, and I’m very excited for it. I’m very excited for Cooper Flag to watch him in summer league. The other playmaker is Ryan Nemhard. Signed a two-way contract with the Dallas Mavericks, so he’s going to be on the team, the same as what Brandon Williams had and Walker Kesler and Kai Jones. Like, those guys were were necessary for that Mavs team last year. He’s six foot. The height is always going to be a thing. We talked about that yesterday. I asked him about his height and what it meant to, you know, is basically the difference between him getting drafted and not getting drafted was maybe like if he was two more inches, two more inches taller or three inches taller, he would have gotten drafted. And he said, “At some point, you’ve got to prove that the height doesn’t matter. Show them play well enough and let your game talk to the point that height doesn’t matter.” Love that mentality. He led college in assists per game last season, 9.8. And he also led college in minutes 35.1 at Gonzaga, which is obviously like one of those schools that is only has basketball. So they really focus on that. And for him to play that much at a Gonzaga school, I think to me says a lot about his ability to play, his the way like his IQ and all that. Everybody has been was raving about Ryan Nard’s playmaking and about how he can play. Coach Brohammer mentioned in both after after both practices about Ryan Nehard playing on and off the ball and I think that’s something they’re going to ask him to do is all right we we we know what you can do on the ball as far as passing playmaking. They do want him to score a little bit more and be more aggressive. He only averaged 10 points his last season at at Gonzaga, so he’s not like a huge high volume scorer, but he can score. other guy Miles Kelly raved about him and said he can get a bucket whenever he wants but they want him to play off the ball a little bit more and so that’s something we’re watching from Ryan Nemhard is all right make plays do all that do the do the stuff that you do and then also let’s see what you look like off the ball off Cooper flag probably that’s that’s what I take from that and so you take those two players I think those are the two that will see the ball in their hands the most and that kind of matters the most in summer league because uh you’re not seeing a ton of really well-developed plays but the guys with the ball in their hands are the fixture it’s Cooper flag it’s Ryan them hard. Those are the guys to watch. Coming up, Miles Kelly, Melvin Ajinsa, Jamarian Sharp. These are finishers. How do they fit into the rest of this and what do they bring? We’ll talk about that and more coming up on today’s lock. Today’s episode of Lock Maps brought to you by Monarch Money. Oh, I I have so much going on. That’s what we call our listeners, listening every day. We appreciate each one of you for checking out the show and hanging out with us. Talked with slightly yesterday. We had some fun. I talked with uh all things Mavs, Jimmy, who was also in the the D’Angelo Russell documentary. And we talked with him day before about Mavs fandom. We talked slightly day before that. And I also had an episode with my friend Zack Blackerbe of Locked on Auburn. We talked about Miles Kelly and we talked about him a good deal and it was cool cuz I we got to talk to Miles Kelly today after practice and he’s got a good personality. It it was fun to see him like he is just reveling in this experience and very excited and happy that he is in the NBA and in the NBA circles and all that kind of stuff. Miles Kelly is a 66 player from Auburn. He’s 22 years old. He’s had he’s a a quintessential 3 and D player. Coach Brockhammer talked about how good of a shooter he is. He’s a knockdown shooter and he also mentioned his ability to rebound. He’s an athletic guy and they really want players to grab rebounds and push in transition. And coach specifically mentioned Miles Kelly unprompted as one of the best in that group that he had been really good at pushing the pace at grabbing a rebound and pushing. And it’s kind of interesting because Miles Kelly was a guy who played at Georgia Tech and he had to be the guy on the ball a little bit more. He had to create. He was one of the better players on those teams. He wanted to transfer to Auburn so that he could be more of a play finisher and more of a spot-up shooter. And so you saw that transition. So I wanted to ask him, okay, so you went from Georgia Tech to Auburn, wanted to get more open shots. And he had a couple quotes while he was at Auburn about, man, I’m getting way more wide openen shots because Jai Broom’s taking all this attention and all that. How is it at the NBA level now with the NBA space? And man, he he was like he was like, “Yeah, I mean, for sure.” Playing with guys like Ryan Nemhard and Cooper Flag, I mean, they make it super easy for me. Similar to my job at Auburn, just knock down open shots and continue to get my look. So, I mean, it’s been super easy, just especially playing in this NBA spacing. It’s a different game. And guys like Miles Kelly can really succeed in the NBA where it can be it can be hard for them at college. The spacing is just not there. You do have guys that aren’t really shooters at the four and at the five. And so having that NBA space, uh the three-point line is is out a little bit farther, so that gives you a little bit more space as well. And uh man, he’s he’s a real confident shooter and guy, too. He also said this. He said I mean, for sure, I’m a shooter. I mean, my confidence is through the roof. So if I see the goal and it’s open, I’m shooting it. And that’s never going to change throughout my whole career. I love that mentality from from a shooter. And then just talking about him reving this NBA opportunity for him. He didn’t get drafted, but now he’s on a two-way contract with Mavericks. So again, just like Brandon Williams, Kesler Edwards, Kai Jones, he’s on that he’s in that spot with the Mavericks now. He said, uh, the last couple of weeks have been surreal. I mean, it still hasn’t hit me yet. I think I was listening to a Future song the other day and he was saying like, I’m playing for the Dallas Mavericks. And that really hit me. Like that hit home. And that’s from that future song, March Madness, where he says like, I’m playing for the Mavericks. Uh, so imag kind of funny that like he was playing for he’s he’s now he is actually playing for the Mavericks. He’s living out a future song, like a line in a future song. When does that ever happen to to people? That’s pretty cool. So, yeah, I’m I’m excited for Miles Kelly. I’m excited to see him play. I would expect him to start as being one of the two-way guys. And so, I think between the three guys I just mentioned, I think those are maybe your three starters because they have guaranteed spots basically on the Mavericks right now. The next guy I’m looking at is Melvin Aensa. I mentioned him earlier. He’s he was a second round pick last year for the Mavericks. They stashed him away. He was playing in Euro League this year. and he mentioned several times about how great of an experience that was. It’s interesting to hear from international players about how they don’t view the I’m going to go play in a, you know, quote unquote lesser league as a downgrade. They see it as a positive. They see it as a yeah, I I I got drafted by this team, but they don’t see it as a negative that, oh, I can’t play for that team yet. they see it as a positive because there is this culture of, you know, in in the in the soccer system where they uh they send their players out like they loan their players out. If a young player isn’t getting enough time, so like right now for the Mavericks, Jaden Hardy is not going to get a lot of time this this year, the Mavs could loan him out to a Brooklyn Nets or something for him to play some time and then get him back. That is the that is the culture they have over there is just go get your opportunity. Get your opportunity to play, get better. And you heard Melvin say that a couple times and I found I found that mentality very interesting. I mentioned him not seeming confident and his English is not the best. You could tell I could tell he was struggling listening to some of the questions, understanding what what some people were saying, which of course he gave him a break. I only speak one language, so I get that. But he did say he, you know, he was he was asked about this opportunity to to play. Do you think you should be on the Mavericks this year? Basically, and he was like he was like, “Yeah, you know, I think I still have some things to work on.” Which is also just like not a mentality you usually hear from NBA players. We’re used to hearing that. Yeah, like I want to prove that I belong. I want to prove that I I belong in this league, that I have what it takes. That that kind of thing. It’s just a very different mentality. I don’t know if it’s international. I don’t know if it I don’t think it’s French, but some kind of a different mentality than what I’ve heard before. Uh it could just be humility. It could just be him saying, “I do have stuff to work on.” And always wanting to get better in all that. And maybe just not being uh such a hype man for himself. But um coach mentioned about him one thing he can do is shoot the ball. And so I think we’re going to see that he’s 6’8. He is a big dude and I’m I’m I’m interested to see if they start him at like the three where it’s Nemhard, it’s Miles Kelly, it’s Melvin Ajinsa, it’s Cooper Flag, and then probably this next guy and that’s Jamarian Sharp. Jamarian Sharp played for the MAP summer league team last year. A lot of Mavericks fans wanted him to get signed to the team. He he didn’t. He uh he only played like 15 minutes a game for the summer league team last year. Um, but he’s 7 foot five and he is all of seven foot five. It’s wild to see him play. He’s 24, he’s a little bit older. He played for Old Miss and uh there’s been some time in between there then and now. But um he’s been working and he’s been working on a lot and working on his conditioning I think and that’s something that coach Broghammer mentioned about him. I think the time and effort that he’s put in with conditioning just getting stronger. I think that’s something we saw last year and he and he came in he could do things for one or two possessions but not for longer stretches. That’s something he’s really worked hard on improve work to improve hard on. That is tough for for players to be able to string together possessions. The conditioning it takes like for an SGA to be able to do the stuff he does for the Thunder over like possession by possession by possession is like incredible conditioning. Incredible to to watch him do do those things. Uh, and so that’s something that a 7 foot five guy who’s always just been probably slower than everybody else and has just kind of stayed in the paint and kind of just like went from from baseline to baseline or went from block to block like that he only had to do that and so he had to really work on his conditioning. So, I’m interested to see if if he’s the one that they start because it’s either him or this next guy, uh, Musa Cisi, 611 guy out of Memphis, played at Old Miss, played at Oklahoma State for two years, then played at, you know, Memphis his freshman year. So, he’s a fiveyear a lot of five-year college players in this in this class right here because of co. He’s a two-time Big 12 all defensive player. In 2022, he was the Big 12 defensive player of the year. He led the He led college in blocks with 1.9 in 2023. He also had um you know 1.7 blocks per game on average throughout his whole career. So he is a guy that’s going to get after it defensively. Uh athletic guy. So I’m very interested to see him play. I see him as a Texas Legends guy. I definitely think he’s going to be playing for the legends. And so I’m interested to see him play there and to bolster that lineup. But I think it’s between Jamarian Sharp and Cece for the starting center spot for the for the Sun or for the summer league team. If I was going to guess one of those two, I’d probably say sharp, older, obviously bigger, 7 foot five. But coach mentioned Cay a couple times. He mentioned after day one that Cooper Flag threw Cay a great alley pass and a lob pass and C got up and it was like it was a really high pass and he got to it and dunked it home and Cooper Flag was impressed by the way that he he caught that pass. And so mentioning that makes me think that maybe he’s running with the ones and so it could be him. A lot of Mavericks fans may think that Sharp will, but we’ll see on that. I think it’s one of those two guys. Cece also was one of two guys that was signed by the Mavericks. Mavericks officially announced they signed Musa Cis to a contract. They also signed this guy, Matthew Cleveland, 67 guard. He played two years at he played two years in Miami and also played at Florida. He averaged about 18 points a game last season on 51 3878 splits shooting. So pretty efficient. He was a six-man of the year in the ACC in 2022. Fluid athlete, pretty low assists, though. He’s going to score. He’s going to get he’s going to um you know hits hit hit some shots. Not going to create his own his own offense that much, but he’s a guy that definitely can score can score the ball. And the Mavs signed Matthew Cleveland and Cece two deals. I think they’re training camp deals. I think that the Mavericks will uh maybe those one of those two guys could be the last two-way spot, but I think probably what happens is those guys go play for the Texas Legends this year. That happens a lot. In the offseason, the Mavericks can hold, you know, any NBA team can hold 21 players on their roster. And so they’re one of those 22 guy 21 guys along with like Dante XM who’s still on the team and the Mav is like right now the Mavs have too many players to go into the season. They’d have to cut some of them and I think these two guys would probably be the ones. We always see the Mavericks sign a couple guys like this before going into the season. But it’s notable that they were signed because there’s like 10 other players on this list that have not been signed by the Mavericks. So it is notable that those two guys have been signed by the Mavs. Coming up, I got a bunch more to get through. I’m going to rapid fire through all these guys. give you something about every single one of these players. Talk about uh we’ll give you all that and more coming. [Music] All right, summer league. I’m excited. I’m excited to get out there. If you’re out there, let me know. Uh text me 2146438637. It’s my personal cell phone number. No, it’s not. It’s our text line. It’s our text line. Imagine, imagine I just gave out my tech my phone number. You guys would be responsible with that, right? Like you listening, you’d be responsible with my phone number, right? That’s our text line. Uh you get tons of alerts on it and uh it’s two weeks free and then you subscribe after that. Helps support the show, helps us do more things with it and uh helps support my livelihood, my dog. I don’t know what what what do you want from me? Okay, the rest of the roster. Nolan Hickman, 6’2 guard from Gonzaga. He’s one of the five guys that is not 67 or 68 on the team. He’s 6’2. Uh he’s 22 years old. Hikman and Ryan Nemhard were the back court for Gonzaga and started basically 70 games together between the last two seasons as Gonzaga starting back court over the last two seasons. So I think that’s notable. I think that chemistry will probably show. It’s interesting that the six foot guy and the six foot two guy are both playing or playing together. That’s not big enough to be an NBA backcourt, but I’m interested to see what they have. Hickman is a really great shooter. He shot 44% from three on five a game at Gonzaga. That is a lot and that is a high percentage. So shooter for sure and you’re going to see you’re going to hear a you’re going to hear a theme with a lot of these guys. Mavs have a ton of shooters on this team. This is one of them. He was a four-year player Gonzaga. Like I said, he started with Ryan with Ryan Nemhard for 70 games the last two years. And so that’s Nolan Hickman. Zurich Phelps, the guy from Duncanville, who’s which is a city near Dallas, Texas. He went to SMU for three years, then he was at Texas A&M. He’s a 6’4 kind of guard. Um, and he went to Texas A&M last year, but he didn’t really shoot that well at all in his college career. 38% from the field, 26% from three in 128 games. That’s a really big sample size. Really struggled to shoot in college. But interesting thing, coach Boghammer mentioned that like the Mavericks have these have this system. If you’ve ever seen the if you’ve heard the the drop, I don’t have it on here, but the drop where Kyrie says, uh, it’s me versus the machines. The Matrix is taking over. It’s when Kyrie goes over to the practice board and they have all their stats for practices. Like Kyrie taking shots. They they they track all those and you can see their shooting percentages as they practice. It’s pretty cool. And so they they’ve been running five on five a lot and been running drills and all that. and he said Zurich Phelps during the during these last couple days at practice has shot 75% from the field. He’s like the leading shooter right now for this Mavericks team. And so that’s that’s interesting. I don’t know if that tells us a lot. It’s only been like three days, but still. He also led the nation in steals in 2024 for SMU. He had 1.9 a game. He had one he had 2.3 steals per game the season before that. Uh so a guy that’ll will create turnovers, disrupt, uh defend. And at Duncanville, he was part of this team that went 29 and five, reached the UIL class 6A state semi-final, and then the tournament was cancelled because of COVID, which you just you remember some of these guys and go, man, like they what they’ve been through where things have been cancelled and I’m sure some of you a lot of you listening had certain graduations or things get cancelceled because of COVID. It’s affected all of our lives, but that was one that that stood out to So, Zerf Phelps, another one of the guys that is not 6 67 or 68. Um, Aloo Dra, I’m going to say his name like eight different times. He’s from Mali. It’s a country in West Africa. He’s 69. He’s been playing in the Rwanda Basketball League and he’s been playing in the BL, the Basketball Africa League. Athlete, dunker, can really uh block shots as well. He common malawatch who was just just played for Duke with Cooper flag and just got drafted top 10. He was in the BAL and uh Aloo broke his block record in a single game. He had eight blocks in a game in the BAL and so he broke Malawatch’s record. He also specifically said he models his game after Anthony Davis, which I mean that’s notable. He said that way before this this week, right? Like he said it a couple years ago. And so that’s something that stood out to me about him. And so I’m interested to see how much time he gets on this team. But um but yeah, an interesting athlete, dunker, all that. Maxwell Lewis, a 67 wing with a 610 wingspan. and he played at Pepperdine for two seasons in college. He was on the all WCC team that conference in 2023 and he was drafted in 2023 by the Denver Nuggets in the second round. 40th pick. So like not a not 50s, not like super late pick in the second round. And he played with the Lakers for parts of the last two years. Played 41 games total with the Lakers and then he played on the 21 games for the Nets last season. He is a scorer. 17 points a game in his last season in college. Can get after it. can can shoot all that. In college, they thought he could become an elite defender. And so, I’m interested to see. But another 67 guy on the Mavericks team that is a pretty fluid athlete and all that. Jordan Hall, another 67 guard. Do you see us? Do you see a theme? All these guys are 67 68. Jordan Hall is 67 guard. He uh played nine games for the Spurs back in 2023 and he played two years at St. Joseph’s and he’s been in the G-League since then. He played uh eight games for the Texas Legends last year, the Mavs G-League team, but he’s played 91 total G-League games over the last three years. He’s got really high assist numbers. He handles the ball. Pretty decent three-point percentage, too. So, you’d consider him a shooter, too. Really low free throw attempts, really low two-point percentage. And so, to me, I’m interested to see how he plays, how much he handles the ball. I think he’s one of the other guys. So, I mentioned there’s a couple other guys that have handled the ball a lot. Cooper Flag, Ryan Nemhard, Jordan Hall is another one of those guys that has handled the ball a lot in his career. Matt Cross, 67 wing, played at SMU last season, 38% on four threes a game. So, shooter. He played for uh he played for a bunch of schools. His story is kind of interesting. He played for Miami, played for Louisville, played for Massachusetts twice, and he played for SMU. And coach Brockhammer was asked about Matt Cross and the reporter said specifically, you know, Matt Cross being a local, I think it I think it was Mike Curtis said, Matt Cross being a local guy, what do you think about? And coach goes, local guy, didn’t he play for four colleges in five years, which is just objectively really funny for your coach for your coach to like call you out on how many colleges you went to in that amount of time. But um but his freshman year at Miami, his coach let him go in January. Like he had two DNPCDs and just let him go from the team, which is kind of wild. Like I don’t follow college basketball that much. Doesn’t seem like that happens very often either. He’s got really good signs of a shooter, great effort guy, skills as a finisher. So another another shooter. The M another 67 shooter. Just keep keep track of how many I mention here. Um and then okay, Obina Achile kill great last name. killing. Let’s go. 68 forward. Played five seasons at Marshall. He was all sunb belt. He was on the all sunb belt team last season and the all sunb belt defensive player of the year. So defender, he’s a, you know, big athlete. Can defend the heck out of it. He is not a good three-point shooter and had a negative assist to turnover ratio. So I’m thinking finisher, defender, see what kind of run he gets in summer league, but not necessarily a get after it scoring guy. Gabe Mclofflin, 67 wing, four years at Grand Canyon. He used two-time all whack. That’s the Western Western American Conf. What does the whack even stand for? I’ve always just said whack. Western Athletic Conference. U he was undrafted, but he signed with Denver after and then was released after training camp last season. He played 42 games with Denver’s G-League team, the Grand, you know, the Grand Rapids team. Um, and so he was was up there with them and he’s a shooter. I mean, just I was just I was watching him in the gym and just looking at his shooting form and was like, “Oh, yeah, that guy’s a really good shooter.” Sometimes you can just tell that guy’s a guy’s a really good shooter. And just just from the form, I didn’t even know who I didn’t even know who he was. Like, I didn’t connect the name to the player. I just was watching them practice and was just like, “That guy’s a shooter for sure.” Last one. I made it. Jaylen Williams, 68 out of Auburn. We talked about him yesterday with Zack Blackerby a little bit. He’s a do-it-all wing. He was the winningest winningest player in Auburn history when he left school in 2024. This is before their last season where they went to the final four. You’re welcome, Zack. He was all SEC in 2024. Good three-point shooting number. So, another good another good three-point shooter. Doesn’t take a lot of shots. He’s one of those players that can kind of do it all, but he’s not as aggressive as some star players. He also played for the Grand Rapids Glee team, Denver’s GLE team last season with with Mclofflin. He shot 40% from from three with with the G-League team. So, I’m very interested to see him. His name is spelled exactly like Jaylen Williams from Arkansas who plays for the Thunder, but he’s Jaylen Williams from Auburn now for the Mavericks. That’s the entire G-League team. I gave you something about every single one of them. You know what it’s all about. You know where they are. And so, now you know a little bit about this team. The Mavs will play the Lakers on Thursday. I’m or yeah, on Thursday. I’m very interested to see how that game goes for sure. And then you look at the rest of their schedule. They play at San Antonio on Saturday. That’s an afternoon game at San Antonio. It’s like in the in Vegas. I don’t know why they spec specify home and away. I guess for who gets the ball first. Um they play against Charlotte on Monday, Philadelphia on Wednesday. So a pretty good lineup where you’ll see you’ll see Bronnie I guess if and Dalton connect if that’s what you want to see. You’ll see Dylan Harper, Khan Canipple, and uh you may see VJ VJ Edge come by that fourth game, but we’ll see. They’re guaranteed, the Mavericks are guaranteed to play five games. Every team plays five games, so that fifth game. They don’t know what it is yet. They’re they put it into a tournament. You see who wins and all that kind of stuff. We expect Cooper Flag to play two games. So, he’ll play that Lakers game and probably that Spurs game against Dylan Harper and then I do not expect him to play against Charlotte, against Philadelphia. After that, we’re watching the rest of these guys to see what they can bring. And so that’s summer league. It’s pretty much everything you need to know about summer league. Thank you for hanging out with me on Locked on Mavs. I’m gonna do more shows. I’ll be in Vegas and so we’ll have a good time talking through all that and going through all these games. Guys, thanks so much for listening to Locked on Mavs. Peace out. Boom.

Dont forget about Bronny James for tomorrow's Lakers/Mavs summer league game 😂😅🤣😭😭😭
LA to Vegas is like Dallas to Houston. Both are 4 hrs apart.
13:13….wasn't expecting to hear a March Madess reference lol that instrumental would be dope for Mavs starting lineup introductions
Nice to see you guys so hyped about our Mainer Flagg vs how mad/sad you all were in February. I hope he delivers and brings the spark back for the fans. Mavs are lucky to get him. (From Maine here)
Im more interested in the Dalton Knect vs Cooper Flagg matchup than Bronny James
D Lo video had a locked on mavs cameo 🔥
I didn't know Walker Kessler played with Dallas summer league Texas Legends
I hope Sharpe is our 3rd 2 way
“I’m the one that live in lavish, like I’m playing for the mavericks”
Ngl I had to take a break to listen to march madness, future dropping the greatest hoop bar of all time
Does Coop have a low post game? If not hop he develops it like Dirk did. But start early. Work on every part of your game young fella!
