HUGE CHANGES! WOW – 2024-25 Mosaic Basketball Hobby – Logoman, Color Blasts, RPA’s & More!

It’s Hitman. Hope you guys are doing good today. Today I’m opening up the brand new 202425 Mosaic Basketball. It is way different this year. Different configuration. A lot of stuff added. Like tons and tons of stuff added. Let’s dig into it right after this. [Music] All right, welcome back everybody. Oh boy, have they changed Mosaic this year. This year there is so much new stuff added as well as a new configuration. If you guys remember Mosaic in the past, it was always uh kind of a bigger box, 150 cards per box. It was like 10 packs and 15 cards per pack or something like that. Now it’s only three packs with only 15 cards per pack. So, that’s a total of only 45 cards. However, you are getting two autographs instead of one. And in general, you should have more parallels, uh, more hits in the box as well. So, not only did the configuration change, but also they added a ton of stuff. So, some of the new colors are going to be you find the mosaic honeycombs. There’s oranges to 249, the bronze to 75, purple snake skins to 24, uh, as well as the gold snake skins to eight. They haven’t done that since the Kobe packs in 2020, I believe. And then you have the Teslations to 15. Those are new for basketball as well. New autos that they’ve added are uh rookie jersey autographs. You can now hit RPA from here and including the one of one NBA logo man, which is a huge chase. Obviously, they’ve added ticket style cards, kind of like the contenders, season tickets and veteran tickets, autos, and then some of the new inserts. Not only can you chase the stained glass and the micro mosaics, but they also added color blast to the mosaic line. So, I mean, tons of stuff you can hit from this product. Mosaic is normally not that exciting cuz they come out with it at the end of the year after Prism and Select and Optic, but this year they add they made they changed it up, made it more exciting. Tons of stuff to chase. I like the configuration. You know, I don’t like all the base cards, so it’s going to be an exciting rip this year. The first offline seemed like very loaded. First offline has those extra first offline parallels. Unfortunately, I missed at the Dutch auction. I did not buy first offline. I couldn’t get my hands on any. So, I have hobby for you today and today is release day. So, we’re opening two boxes. Here we go. Two boxes, two autograph each. Let’s rip into it. Box number one. Uh there it is. 45 cards total, two autographs per. Look for the new rookie jersey autographs and the ultra rare color blast insert and more. Let’s go to this side. Look for the stunning purple snake skins to 24 and gold snake skins to eight. That is going to be cool. And uh there’s a look at the back. We got cards numbered from 249 all the way down to the one of one black. One of one black. So here we go. [Music] Mosaic. Uh, it actually came out before Optic this year. They haven’t released Optic for uh 202425 season yet. Uh, Prism and Select Out, but not Optic. Three packs. What do you guys think of the new configuration? Would you rather have more packs to open or just three packs and give me more hits? Uh, I prefer this way, obviously. But here we go. Pack number one. Let’s take a look at the design there. Ooh, that is a very interesting design. So, this year it looks like they are all the cars laser. Yeah, this year it looks like they put all the cards on a laser type parallel. Very interesting design. I mean, I like it. I like it. Mosaic is generally I mean, pretty busy. There’s Dennis Shruder. We got Torian Prince. Now, these are just the base. D’Angelo Russell. Um, we got Dorian Finny Smith for the Lakers. How about Andre Drummond. Uh, Oso, that’s our first rookie. Oso Igodoro there on the rookie. I like the lasers laser design. How about uh Yuki on the debut. So you’ll find some of the same uh kind of insert subsets. We got NBA debut. We probably have like the allstar or all NBA cards as well. Um maybe some Hall of Fame cards. This one is going to be Cade. Kade Cunningham. So that is a So that doesn’t have the laser. That is a mosaic kind of like they had these as like mosaic silvers last year. Kade on the mosaic. And we do have a red. What is this? Red is going to be Tari East on the red. If I remember correctly, uh the reds were not numbered. Let’s take a look at that. Yeah, reds are not numbered. Hobby parallel just like last year’s. And our silver looks like our standard silver is Keegan Murray. So that now that looks a lot more clean. And I know that’s just a silver, but actually the silvers or the laser like I actually like the silvers cuz they that you know that makes the silvers a lot better cuz that’s that’s super clean. All right. I don’t know why it’s one uh right side up and upside down. But here we go. We have a that is going to be this way. It looks like a pink city edition of Jokic on the pink Nicola Joic. I’ll take a look at the numbering on that in a second. And looks like we got a rookie blue of Jaylen Tyson for the Javs. The Jokic pink is to 175. 157 to 175. Jaylen Tyson there. Give me I think we might have an auto here. There’s only three packs. So I think with two autos, like two of the packs got to have an auto, right? All right, we have an orange. Uh Keonte George on the orange. I think we have our It’s got to be our auto in the back. All right. Uh well actually no something in the back. Let’s go to the back first. The back card is an insert. That’s Luca. And there he is in a Lakers uni. That’s um that’s his official first card in an actual Lakers uni as far as license. Um if you don’t count the Monopoly cards that they gave out, but uh Stair Masters of Luca and that’s pretty funny. They have the stair masters right there. That is a pink uh pink to 149. 95 to 149 on the Luca Donic. Uh his his select cards had the Lakers logo on it, but he was still on a mouse uni. All right. And our auto are they are they on card autos? Uh oh, it’s actually a bank shot, not an auto. Bank shot of uh Stefan Castle. Just an insert, I guess. And the Keonte George orange was numbered 170 of 249. All right, pack number one. Here comes pack number two. I mean, you got a lot. Pack number two. There’s um Brandon Miller, Jaylen Johnson, Devincenzo, Fred Van Fleet, Clint Capella, Terren Shannon on the rookie. Uh auto is a good one. Jared McCain on the auto. That came out of nowhere. So there’s our first auto. Uh and that is probably one of the best rookies from last year and probably one of the best ones that signed actually. Jared McCain rookie auto. We’ll take that one. Good looking. That’s That’s a season ticket, too. I just realized that’s a season ticket auto. So, not a rookie ticket, which you can find in Contenders Optic if they release that. I’m not sure if they will this year, but there it is. Season ticket. Put that one there. All right. We got a Paulo on the Mosaic silver. Our red here is going to be Marvin Bagley, not numbered. Then we have a true silver of Dylan Jones. How about a Harrison Ingram on the purple? Pink is going to be Connley. The Ingram is number 27 to 99. New I’m getting used to the colors here. Uh blue is going to be Dejante Murray for the Pelicans. Uh 175 on the pink 79 175. And our insert uh that’s an overdrive of Salon and Safon Castle on the blue montage. That should be numbered. That is going to be 20 of 199. Yeah, seems like you get a lot more number stuff. That’s the 199 as well. All right, last pack. Should have one more auto in here. We’re doing two boxes. I didn’t talk about market price, but I think these were uh they started off at I think around $500, but um it seemed to have gone up. I think they’re over 500 now. Oo, there’s a glitter. I want I don’t know how rare those are, but Tyrese Maxi, Chris Paul, OG Anobi, Jaden Ivy, LaMelo, Brunson on the city edition. How about auto Jonas Valenunz Pictographs on the blue auto? That is going to be numbered to 35. 34 of 35 Valentunas. Uh Don Holmes, Bronny on the debut. Ronnie James on the red debut there on Drummond on the silver. And AJ Johnson on the um orange. All right, we do have a glitter here. I don’t know how SSP these are. Is that that’s not a rookie it looks like. And that’s going to be Desmond Bane. That looks good though. Uh the orange is numbered to one 249. So orange is one of the higher number ones. That does look really good. I wonder if is there a gold glitter? I think there’s a gold glitter as well. This is the regular glitter, not numbered. Probably just an SP. And then we have Tyler Cole, uh Paulo on the montage, and WBY on the stair masters. So some of the inserts are familiar, you’ll be familiar with. And that’s actually numbered to 75. 63 75 on the Wembi. Uh probably an orange or something that or maybe not orange, yellow. That is nice. We’ll take that. Numbered Webby. All right. Box number one was kind of good. Decent. We had a Jared McCain auto and some nice uh not many numbers. WMBI. We’ll go to box number two. I like the configuration. Um I I feel like you know all the base cards that you got last year unnecessary. So basically just skip to the hits here. All right, box number two. Here we go. [Music] We have something thick. I’m assuming that’s an RPA. We got something thick here. Uh, that’s going to be Giannis, Sasser, Cadet, uh, Keante, Andre Jackson, Jason Tatum. Uh, it’s going to be under this. So, we’ll put that one down. We’ll put that one down right there. All right, we got Christian Brown. Lively on the red, Ben Simmons on the silver. Uh, Anthony Simons to 249. Assar Thompson on the purple. Is that a gold in the back? Assar Thompson on the purple. Steph Curry on the blue. That’s a nice one. Assaarus to 999. Curry on the blue. That’s the base Curry right there. Uh Bzelis on the stair masters and some kind of some kind of mosaic thing here. Looks like a bronze or gold looks like like it looks like it could be a gold vinyl but it’s not. Curry is numbered to 199 31 of 199 oneoff jersey number. All right. What is this? We notoriety. That is a nasty looking card. Look at that color too. Like if that was a gold vinyl that’d be a big card. That is going to be a WMY to 75. 71 to 75. Another numbered WBY. Second year is uh doing pretty well as far as value as well. All right. Should we look at the RPA? I guess we’ll look at the RPA here. Good luck to me. Oh, it’s backwards. It’s uh I feel it on the back. So, we’re going to flip it around. 3 2 1 Bub Carrington on the RPA for uh Wizards there. That’s going to be a nice chunky patch or a pretty good patch. Sticker auto and that is to 75 61 of 75 on the bub. Looks nice. I mean, it reminds me of like a Spectra RPA or something. And this is new for Mosaic. They’ve never had RPA before, so that is new. Now they have Logo Man as well. All right, that’s a one auto down. I’m like I’m liking Mosaic. It’s honestly a such a fun rip on this configuration. Um, man, they they made some changes and they’re they’re they’re looking good. Let’s see if we can hit like a Is that a stained glass in the back? No. Uh, Grady Dick, Dinwitty, Sexton, MPJ. We got I think we might have an auto here, maybe. Yeah, it might be a season ticket auto. Clintman and our uh auto. Good luck. Is going to be Harrison Ingram. That is a Spurs auto. Harrison Ingram. That’s the That’s the 24. We’ll save that one. Jacobe Walter on the orange. McCain and a bank shot of LeBron on the pink. Pink is to what? I think it’s to 149. There we go. LeBron on the main shot. Pink. It’s always nice to get a Braun. There we go. And we did get a snake skin to 24. Purple. Purple snake skin. Good luck to me. Here we go. Give me a rookie. It’s not a rookie. Who is that? That is going to be Payton Watson. Man, that looks so cool. So, these were uh introduced in the Kobe packs, snake skin packs, king snake packs, I think they’re called. And uh haven’t seen them since then, since 2020, but they make a return here in this year’s mosaic. And that is eight of 24, double Kobe number there. That’s going to be cool. Eight of 24 on the Payton Watson. We’ll go ahead and sleeve that one up. But, uh let’s try to do a recap for you guys. All right, here’s the recap. I mean, where do I start? You get so many parallels and colors in here and rookies. I mean, it’s just as you’re opening this, you can just see all the different colors and and parallels. It’s It’s kind of crazy. It is It is a way different experience than than Mosaic has been in previous years. I mean, you still get some of the Mosaic silvers. Those to me look plain. you get some of the same inserts. So, you do have a little um does feel like mosaic there, but then when you get to the new newer parallels, and it just it just it’s a way different experience. Here are some of the new newer colors here. I mean, there’s a tessellation that’s new to this year. So many colors. This is all the numbered stuff and the the reds are not numbered. Stefon Castle blue there. Luca and a Lakers uni. Uh and here are some of the better hits. Here’s the Desmond Bane on the glitter. We wmb Stair Masters numbered. Uh Curry on the blue. Notoriety Webby do. That is a cool color. Almost looks like a vinyl, but to 75. LeBron numbered. This is the cool uh purple snakes snakes skin to 24 right there. There’s a gold one to eight as well. Valenunis. Our autos are Valenunis. Harrison Ingram. That was a white auto. Uh Jared McCain on the season ticket rookie auto. And the Bob Carrington RPA. I mean to 75. Wow. Mosaic basketball hobby this year. They totally changed it up and they I think they hit it out of the ballpark, guys. It might have It might have surpassed Select. Maybe even Prism as far as the most fun rip. I’m not sure where it’ll be as far as value. And uh Optic hasn’t come out yet. So Optic I heard has new downtowns this year, so that’ll be fun. But as far as the chrome sets that we have out right now, it sure beats Phoenix. Uh, it sure beats uh, Select and it sure beats Prism as far as how fun it is to open. Uh, I think you guys will like it. These are coming in at over $500 a box. Now, that is a little bit pricey compared to where the singles of Mosaic usually fall, but it is such a fun rip, you guys. I mean, if you have to rip basketball, I would take a shot on this. I mean, color blast, micro mosaic, stained glass, RPA, the logo man hunt. You got two autos per. They hit it out of the ballpark here. I wish it was a little cheaper in price, but it is what it is. Maybe price will drop once more of this product gets open. Do me a favor, guys.
